no, when all Nigerians and other unwanted people leave London...
I don't think you have ever been to peckham |
dayokanu: And why cant you SE leeches stay on your own, WHy must you do attache by force? If dem check well all you and all your comrades in e-arms dey jand or yankee dey cool off. Yet you dey criticise people ppl for their own country (for now at least). The day una ppl go leave london eh! Especially peckham the good people of london will throw a carnival that will last for weeks. Their welfare system may however need a century to recover. |
Ibrahim mr fish: Iyamuri,i'm not a hausa man.Get that to ur tick skull. You must be one of those middle belt captives with Stockholm Syndrome. If you are not so educated like most slaves to the north, Stockholm syndrome means a case where the captive falls in love with his captor. Ahmadu Bello swore to use u guys as slaves and I see it worked on some of you. |
What business has South South with South East? I am sorry, we have very little in common and I would prefer South South and South West combination.
Abeg who be "we". Abi u forgot to log in with your niger delta ID |
I am not surprised at all. I watched a senate sitting where one Kano senator called Gaya complained of forces working to instigate sectarian violence. We know its possible but he gave an example of how the people that tried to kill the Emir of Kano would have caused sectarian violence because the Igbo populace would have been targetted over it. What ran through my mind was there was absolutely nothing to link igbos to the attack so why would he say that. What prompted that line of thought?? Its okay for umunna in the north to stockpile tons of assault rifles and shotguns but at the end of the day I just wish they would return home. The average northerner isn't bad but the northern elite is a collective enemy of all non-muslims living there and the average northerner is captive to the elite and what they say. |
While it is necessary for there to be order and the organizations that built the school should have obtained permits from the LASG I have something against high handed authority that always seeks to flex muscles at every given opportunity. I can understand zero tolerance for a luxury housing estate but when you consider the lot of the people in makoko, you check the priceless value of education especially for kids who ordinarily cannot attend school because of conditions I can't fathom why the state government should arrogantly step on the project. Abeg fashola should embrace such endeavours and discourage LASG officials from suppressing initiatives that can only make his state better. |
Bobandgreat: I'm highly inclined to believe what he is saying. We have been used over and over in this stinking country and we have not got much to show for it except betrayal and promises. Asari is talking sense but history has taught me how our neighbours and "brothers" see us. Make we dey watch we'll know who is for real |
Afam4eva: The reason most times is that enough expertise is not there to maintain these schools. We're tackling the problems from the top rather than from the bottom.Growth without prioritisation is not development. Its something very close to a cancer. To your question, development is orchestrated growth from the ground up. From basics to less basic things. Whether infrastructurally, societally or politically. For example I don't believe in fancy expressways and shiny buildings in a place lacking pipeborne water or security. Thats madness |
i tire for this country. How did things get so bad. In 1999 we thought democracy would turn nigeria around. Why did obasanjo punish us like this? Couldnt he have installed a puppet with at least minimal decency, vision and balls? |
ocman: hhhHhhhhhhahahahahaahahhahaa!! There was a country my brother! witches and wizards too are suffering. Nigeria is wicked o! up to a point where witches and wizards don join una politics and even open association. hahahah. soon we go hear FG seeks amnesty for Nigerian Witches and Wizards. There was a country nnam!!Amnesty na the beginning. GEJ and his crew will soon give them a contract to protect the skies |
django1: You people asked for it, when you get it, you'll turn around and cry foul.Nobody invited the walking dead into this thread to spew the usual cheap muck and slime. It is a celebratory topic. Those who are unhappy and need to sling mud to stay sane can open their own thread |
Wow. I knew Achebe was a heavy man but didn't know he was this huge. No wonder the usual losers want to die. |
OP spoke my mind. Hip hop has really fallen off its creative pedestal. I read some posters say biggie and pac added to it by making gangsta rap go mainstream. Personally i blame "dirty south" rappers for dumbing down rap. it started with master p and his "no limit" gang with big beats, flashy colourful videos with big batty girls shaking all over the place in the late 90s. Those guys were wack but their beats appealed to their "dirty south" fans and they sold millions. Of course Cash Money Bros sprung from the south (atlanta) and today Young Money etc. Of course some dirty south rappers are bad guys like outkast, ludacris and few others. |
nues aweso: The Nairaland Tribalists and Bigotry Front(NTBF) explodes, rejects amnesty, fingers Seun: It is Seun that needs amnesty!Oga seun! How u go give yourself amnesty na? Yes I know say na you |
Wow he's set to join the centenarian club. Wish him peaceful reign and more years to enjoy the fruit of his labour and loved ones. |
