XerXers: Anambra attracted more FDI than other SW states put together minus Lagos. Anambra FDI is 12 times greater than Oyo. In 2021, Abia was 3rd Nationwide behind Lagos and Abujy. 2022 Anambra is 4th behind Lagos, Abuja and Akwa Ibom All still amount to NEXT to NOTHING |

Gombe generated N10.6 billion as IGR in 2021, followed by Ebonyi (N13.8 billion) and Bayelsa, an oil-producing state, generated N13.3 billion in 2021. Jigawa and Zamfara generated N16.5 billion and N18.9 billion, respectively.
So Jigawa and Zamfara generated more igr than Bayelsa in 2021. Isorait |

kettykin: If only you realized the essence of what you posted and influential you have made igbos look. If igbos investment in Port Harcourt had continued unabated, I don't think Lagos would have overtaken rivers economy ( I will leave this discussion for another day). Coming to what is happening in Lagos and the way forward for igbos, igbos need to move critical investment out of lagos to the east and Abuja, eventually Abuja economy is overtaking Lagos so Abuja is not a bad investment option You have been planning to leave Lagos since but it seems they tied una umbilical cord in Lagos https://www.nairaland.com/2374510/igbos-map-out-5-yearsFive years never reach since. Nobody will miss igbos in Lagos. We have over 300 tribes represented in Lagos plus foreigners. Is it the minority Igbos that Lagos will miss? The money your businessmen make in Lagos, they can't make it anywhere in Nigeria. |

They will still be crying that the federal govt did not allow other ports to work optimally except that of Lagos. What they don't know is that the North consumes more imported goods than the South East with the least population in the country. Assuming the FG government gives their landlocked region seaport which is not possible anyway, is it only their region that they will limit the sales of those imported items to?What these people are doing in Lagos, Im sure they can't try it in Warri or Portharcourt.

Whynotthetruth: It is quite unfortunate when we have to cope with people of low IQ and who shamelessly celebrate ignorance...
Did you even read the link you posted? Though your wrong spellings and short forms already gave me a hint of your poor educational background but I didn't expect it to be this bad 😞
Let me talk based on your link...SW the region ethnic bigots like you has over 16 million poor people...
SE which is PO's region has about 10 million poor people...
Is 10 greater than 16 ? SW has far higher poor people than SE which has the highest per Capita income in Nigeria...go back to your link and read it well or call an interpreter or ur Imam Omg! I wonder the sort of education you acquired and it showed you are ignorant of statistics and figures. This is what primary school people will be able to calculate. I advise you to go back to your primary school and get a refund. Now, let me school you this morning, According to statistics, the southwest has a population of 47m while the southeast has just 22 m. Now, to get the percentage of poor people in the population, For southwest, you will divide 16.27m by 47m multiplied by 100 which equals 34.6% For the southeast, you will divide 10.86m by 22m and multiply by 100 which equals 49.36% Now, what it means is that For every 100 people in the southwest, 34 are poor while For every 100 people in the south east, 49 are poor. Logically, it's because of the high poverty rate in the Southeast that southeasterners are flocking to the Southwest as we all know that people from the Southeast are economic migrants. |

Also, it take high grade of foolishness to believe you can win general election in Nigeria without votes from the core north and especially if you don't have all of the south, GEJ won in 2011 because he had all of the south.
Obidients go dey alright eventually.
Ten thousand of your fathers can't stop Tinubu presidency. Fact but let's wait for how Mr.Obinna will prove that he won all the regions in the south. |

To reclaim your land and sovereignty, you ll have to go through war or referendum. And thats why some Igbos are asking for referendum, you cant have your cake and eat it Now ask yourself the meaning of state of origin in our constitution |
Politics › Re: How Supreme Court Resolved Presidential Election On 25% Vote In FCT by Jogs1900: 7:30am On Apr 02, 2023 |
A reasonable, just and sensible interpretation of section 134(2) would then be that scoring 25% of the votes cast in the FCT, Abuja is like scoring 25% in any other State of the Federation.
Very reasonable. I believe the judges will be reasonable in their judgements too. If 25% is mandatory in Abuja, subsequent elections in Abuja will be a do or die affair. |

N3TRAL: Datti is a terrible character.
He is an extremist with an evil heart.
Even as a senator, he was the only out of 109 to propose a bill for homosexuals and others under the LGBT umbrella to be killed.
He literally gave a lengthy talk on the floor of the national assembly about why gay people should be killed. His colleagues, fellow legislators, who are extreme in their own way were shocked at the level of Datti's extremism.
With Datti's antecedent, no developed nation of the world would trust him in public office.
When I reflect during leisure hours sometimes, I wonder why "progressive generation Z" in Nigeria let the anti human rights proposals Datti made in the past to slide.
Was it really about progress, positive change, or something else? You are smart and intelligent. |
