I know member of ASUU that establish private school which refuse to pay his teacher their salary because he was absent in his school for one day and yet he wants to collect money for 8 months in which he did not work for. ASUU pride is too much. You can not eat your cake and have it. What of students that they wasted their time, house rent etc for 8 months. ASUU wings need to be clip and that is what minister his doing.

When people say lecturers didn't work and therefore should not be paid, I wonder at their ignorance. Their work schedule is lecturing, research and community service. If you pay them half salary for resuming mid October, then it's logical to continue lecturing, and doing other functions from the day of resumption. There's no need of compensating for the back log of duties. From my knowledge as a postgraduate student, these people work round the clock. Their work is not like the typical civil service work that resumes 8am and closes by 4pm, Monday to Friday

The hostel she mentioned is a private hostel. Not a school hostel per say. Oau has school hostels for females like Moremi, Mozambique, Akintola and the one not far from Awo hostel which I can't remember the name now. School hostel in Ife is just a little bit above 3k.

For your information, it is more healthy to have hair in your arm pit. It reduces infection. Just wash it well.
