orgx: Your age and previous degree would not be a challenge except if you fail to do justice with your SOP. Someone over 40 yrs was approved in the thread before this. Explain on your SOP the reasons why you chose the course, let the course be related to your previous study or current working experience and you will be fine. Remember that the longer your program duration, the more POF you will need, so choose wisely. 1 Like |

orgx: If the fast track program and the 3 yrs program are both undergraduate diploma programs then your waec transcript (original certificate) should suffice. If any of them is a graduate diploma then you will need your university transcript. Both programs are fine and would avail you PGWP of at least 2 yrs |

Picked my ppt today guys and the feeling is still amazing. Apparently it was processed in Beijing and not Nairobi so anyone could also send webforms/emails to Beijing for feedback regarding their application. Don't give up y'all, it's worth it at the end. 34 Likes 1 Share |

RelaxingEnd: Choose which ever you're comfortable with. You could also use UPS, FedEx or any other courier service. I used one way to send and picked it up in person at vfs Lagos. 3 Likes |

gaeul: Affordable might be gone with the wind at the moment but you can still get a reasonable price with cheap airlines like Ethiopia airlines, Kenya airlines. Please ensure to check that you don't book a flight with stopover in US or any Schengen country cos you will need a visa to pass through. Also avoid flights with terminal or airport change except you're disciplined enough not to miss your flight. Qatar, British Egypt airlines are expensive but you can still check to see if they have any cheap flights. Good luck |

GTXPRESGOLD: As much as I understand you wish to relocate through the study route, however, you can't get this by luck. POF of N3m would not be enough to pay your fees and show proof of living expenses covered. If you can get a sponsor, loan etc whatever it is to add to your POF that would be fantastic. Good luck. 5 Likes |

Gabiru95: This is the funniest thing I've read today lol. You can send webforms and emails, however, IRCC would only respond with feedback (if they please) to the email registered with the application. 2 Likes |

geotherm: So sorry for the outcome. From what you stated it's obvious she had good POF and hometies, however, having good POF and hometies doesn't automatically qualify the applicant if you know what I mean. The sop can make or break the application. I can see you stated that the applicant is an MSc holder in science while HR is a completely different field talk less of the fact that it's a PGD program. Now here's my take for your next sop/loe, don't start and end at explaining why the course is relevant to her current position. First start with what she did that made HR an option to consider, is this an interesting role for her, has she handled any HR role prior to her current Job role but couldn't focus on that for any reason. Now explain how she has managed in her current role without the HR qualification she's applying for, what challenges has she faced in her current role without the HR qualification that became the decision point, what are the potentials of having the qualification and lastly what she intends to achieve with the extra qualification. I hope you understand, make the transition eye catching to read and difficult to think otherwise. Repackage and refire Good luck 5 Likes |

amila20042001: Ok, if the program is not specified as ineligible then you're fine. Most ineligible programs are programs less than 2 semesters - 8 months, while some use credit loads to judge. These are mostly certificate programs if I'm not mistaken. |

Ojb555666: Please be careful with agents and booking agencies. Get to the airline directly and make enquiries/book. My experience with wakanow and travelstart was beyond funny. They can help you with cheap flights that might ruin you. It was from checking with the airlines directly I realised that Most of the cheap flights these agencies were advertising had several stopovers that would require transit visas or some sort of visa, the flight time could be over 30 hrs or they book flights that would require you to change airports, change Terminals etc, restrict your baggage options especially with the airport changing or terminal changing. Be careful bro. 1 Like |

amila20042001: If you wait for who has knowledge about certain programs/schools, you might wait a long time or end up with a wrong response from asking repeatedly. Personally I sent mails to several schools when I was looking for admission and I was thankful I did when I got their responses, it saved me from applying to so many pgwp non eligible programs even when the school was a DLI. Why not head to the school's page, navigate and obtain their international student's enquiry email and send them a couple of emails to obtain first hand information. You will be glad you did. 1 Like |

Ishola2002: Compressing docs is not an easy tasks especially for the new portal with 2mb max permission. First ensure your POF statement isn't part of the documents you are attempting to shrink because it can cost you the application if the information on the statement are not legible to comprehend - use MBS. To achieve this feat, you're to use several pdf compression apps or web pages - I used up to 7. Add all the files to one file on adobe PDF and hit the compress option, once it's done, check that the documents are still readable. Now Google pdf compression sites online and try to compress the already compressed document from Adobe. Some sites will give you the option to set the quality of what the outcome shud be. Do this repeatedly on several pages/sites, each time with the previously compressed file untill you hit 2mb. ENSURE you check each file before you further compress to ensure the documents contained are still readable. I forgot to do this when I uploaded mine only to realise that half of the documents were all faded out. Thankfully my SOP was still manageable and I used MBS for my POF. 1 Like |

jilenwere: Aii, asking here after getting your feedback only creates more anxiety for you. Chat them the next day, the day after and the day after, explain to every one of them that it's over month but don't be rude on the chat - you know as Nigerians dey behave sometimes. |

Victodan: Medical request is compulsory for student visa application whether at the processing phase or at immigration level. You can wait patiently to be advised or get an upfront medicals done. |

jilenwere: My take on this, No one here would know for sure the reason for the one month Delay except VFS themselves. The email correspondence you got came with a tracking ID, VFS live chat resumes 9am Mon - Fri, have your tracking ID handy, initiate a chat (it might take a few minutes to get routed to an agent but the earlier you initiate the chat the faster), ask for feedback regarding your ppt retrieval, paste your tracking ID on the chat and wait for the agents feedback. The feedback might be generic but probe further to be given a timeline, have a life interaction with them and you will be glad you did. Good luck. |

Kingo99: You got an information advising you to use your tracking ID or your waybill number to track the PPT. You redacted the tracking ID so not everyone can view it. While you wait for response regarding the waybill number, please contact ups first thing on Monday with the tracking ID, let ups be the ones to inform you that you have the wrong ID so you don't assume. This is my opinion and my last response to your query. Good luck. |
