Frankielilbaby: Please guys I have been trying to track my passport on the VFS page but it's not going through please how many days after submission? And which site in particular am I to use? You would typically get email notifications for the different stages from VFS. If you're not getting them then chat them to confirm the stage your request is at. The whole process should not be more than 2weeks from my own experience |

Kingo99: I submitted my passport in person at abuja on Tuesday, paid VFS for my pass to be sent back to Lagos. I’ve been getting emails throughout the process, it has been stamped & sent back to VFS.
The problem now is the picture below is the last mail i got from VFS, haven’t received any other mail from them, they didn’t send the waybill number for me to track it, called them on Friday, never picked, chatted with them on their site, they said I should send an email, i sent an email, no response. VFS courier service partner is UPS. You can contact UPS if you paid VFS to return the ppt to you after stamping. |

Jaykeh: I have access to the email, it's same email I have used for everything concerning this application including my school, maybe I will wait till Monday and send them an email. Ok great. Why not chat instead of sending emails you're not sure when you will get a response. I always get VFS on chat. They resume at 9 am so I chat with them from 9:00 to 9:15. They may give you a generic response but at least you know someone gave you a response on a live conversation. |

Kingo99: Hello guys, has anyone here used VFS Courier Service to have their passport delivered to their residential address?
Need help concerning this please, anyone who has ever use VFS courier service. I wanted to because of my schedule but when I saw the cost I decided to go there myself after confirming I could do that in person. - cost is $56.71 - N18,710.00 - 1 Way Courier (per package) |

Jaykeh: Oh okay, thank you. I've not gotten any email from both DHL and VFS, although I tracked that of DHL and it has been delivered to Abuja, no confirmation FROM VFS yet. Hmm, that's strange. Funny question but are you sure you have access to the email address you used to apply for your permit cos I am not sure if it will be sent to the same email you put down when transmitting your ppt - i think thats for DHL. I got all my notifications from the email I applied with - the same email I received all my IRCC notifications through |

Jaykeh: Yeah, I wanted to know if you have gotten your ppt back, but I saw your comment earlier about going for it on Monday, then when did VFS send you an email since you were tracking it through courier, is it same day it got to Abuja they confirmed they have received it? Oh ok, I got all the notification emails from DHL from the date I dropped it off till it was delivered to VFS Lagos. I got the ppt receipt acknowledgment mail from VFS the same day DHL notified me of the successful delivery. I also got subsequent emails from VFS from their dispatch to Abuja, to IRCC then back to ABUJA, and VFS Lagos. I was not tracking VFS delivery tho cos I'm not sure it is trackable, I only chatted with them often for feedback. The timeline was 15 days (10 working days) |

sammyfrance23: Good day gurus, I’m traveling soon, do I need to fill ArriveCAN? It is no longer required as of 1st Oct. Someone filled it out recently while traveling and his details could not be verified from the app at the Canadian immigration when he arrived. Just make sure you have the required documents handy and don't bank on the app. |

Please note: I am just registering and trying to upload my pdf etc. After registering and obtaining your login credentials, login and initiate your visa application request. These are columns to upload your required information and i feel they are descriptive enough so try not to upload your documents in the wrong column. |

Ishola2002: Abeg no follow me talk rubbish for here o. If u con dey study for Canada come mean say u are d best. See u no better pass me o ok, so make u reset ur brain. Hi Shola, I am not sure the reason for this your attitude lately but whatever the reason is, it does not make you look great by having these kinds of outbursts. I have asked several questions here for months too and i never got a response to them while for others i did. I am certain you understand that no one is mandated to respond to anyone here because no terms and conditions are signed before joining the thread, rather people respond based on experience, I mean you would not want to dish out wrong responses because someone is desperate for answers. I am sure you also know that some questions can be easily answered by google but some people would rather prefer someone does the googling on their behalf. If you ask a question and no one responds, assume they don't know or have an idea and do your own research. Nothing gives confidence like understanding from one's research rather than from hearsay. |

amila20042001: That maintenance upkeep, have you seen someone who has used it. I don't think that shit works Yea I have. it's usually credited to your preferred destination account from your Naira account at bank rate unlike black market where you collect cash as e dey hot. The only downside is the time it takes to process cos it's form A. |

If I have naira in my account here in Nigeria, how can I exchange it for USD or CAD in Canada? Would love to know if it's possible in Canada tho. From here, it's either bureau de change (black market) or form A - maintenance upkeep (bank rate) |

GodswillBeDone: I posted my brother's CBSA notes excerpts before to help me out on what I can do.
Please, I just received this response from a MP. What can I do please? How can I get them to start this eligibility review? The update they did was to update my medicals on October 29, 2022. Since then no update, nothing. Not even ghost update.
Anybody that has advice or that can help, please, kindly assist please. In reality you don't have any influence over your application so don't let it bother you negatively or think that there is something you will do to make the process faster. As stated by the mp the average processing time is 12weeks. Mine took 17 weeks, some June applicants just got theirs approved this week (which is over 20 weeks) while someone got theirs in less than 5 weeks. The only thing I did was wait till mine was past the processing time then I started sending mails and webforms daily with exceptions to weekends - I never got a response to those Mails and webforms tho. If your resumption is this winter, please be checking to know when it's the deadline to defer so you don't loose your admission waiting for IRCC. Good luck. |

Iwanttwins: Good morning all. Please, I got an admission for Sept. 2023 at Northwestern already and would like to start my visa application this month. I would appreciate all the help I can get here as I'll want to do it myself with the help of my fellow applicants here. First, I'm opting for upfront medicals, I'm waiting on IOM to give me an available date, wen exactly can I submit my visa application cos I don't really understand this upfront medical of a thing? You can apply anytime you make up your mind and satisfied that you have your compulsory and supporting documents complete You're not to wait for IOM to give you a date for your medicals, you're to book your preferred date from their Available time and pay them a visit. Good luck. |
