we protect peoples right and curb discrimination on race, sex, religion etc,but in the dially case of insurgencies in the country, preventive measures have to be taken, and the woman in question is a brat, first she wanted reg without a passport which nt granted then she started creating fuss and distracting the own place embarrassing her seft, threating every body that she is a ministers wife.
Bros I like the fact that you took your time to reply.

I like to deal with issues separately without muddling things up. There is a clear sequence of how the event unfolded. It is obvious before anybody can make a request for photo-less registration he/she must have gone through the necessary security checks. Meaning the scene of the police woman is definitely the first incident to unfold.

Here's my question. How did the police woman handled the case before it resulted into unpleasant exchange of words. Obviously if the Police woman had respected the woman's religious right and right to privacy it wouldn't have degenerated to such extent. We all know issue of religion is a very sensitive one in Nigeria that people get easily emotional about.

The fact that the police woman requested that she opens her veil publicly does not prevent a potential suicide bomber from detonating her bomb.

It only shows that the Police woman and in extension MTN were being overzealous in discharging their duty that they forgot to be rational.

Bottom line is that the woman may be wrong in asking for a photo-less registration but if an individual customer could not control her emotions, whatever happens to ethics of good customer relation on the part of the company(MTN) and its staffs.

Y'all need to learn a thing or two from GTB customer service. No matter who is wrong or right no GTB staff has the right to raise his or her voice against a customer.

That is what customer service relation entails.

So you have to make her open her face from the entrance of your office? Just because she can't snap with veil on.

BTW what special arrangement does your office have in place to protect peoples right to religion.

Or you don't think it is the duty of MTN to protect the right of their customers and every Nigerian.

I am writing this on a very sad note... sad angry angry angry

I was in the village this past weekend to spend few days with my extended family and to my utmost surprise, I was informed that there is an existing "oro festival" going on, and that I must make it indoors by 4pm to say the least.

Coincidentally, I got to the village by 4:35pm all looking empty and deserted like a grave yard. Out of intuition, I decided to start looking ahead of me before I walk down any path.

Three paths away from my Father's House, I discovered the procession was just ahead of me, I ran for my dear life. Three things happened to me while I was running for my dear life:
1. I misplaced my phone, a massive Tecno Phantom 5 cry cry
2. I misplaced my wallet
3. I had to forgo my luggaes which they now have in their possession ( Luckily, I had ONLY new wears I've not even tested in it).

Now, here's my grouse with this evil, barbaric, satanic and extinct act: After loosing my phone which I had used to take beautiful pictures because of its picture quality and suave, my games are also gone, Is this ORO of a thing supposed to be continued in this time and age?

My money is also gone! I will so miss my phone because of its become my perfect companion
cry cry cry

PS: For the non-Yorubas who don't know what an oro festival is, it is basically a festival celebrated in Yoruba lands either after the death of an Oba or a special atonement is to be made in the land and it involves sacrificing Humans!
Sorry we don't do those bullsh!ts in Ibadan. Even women now watch Ololu(the most dreaded masquerade in Ibadan.

Not easy for a young man to be the king because every male Ibadan indegene is a potential king. Unless they whole family decides to make the person the family head at a very young age(say before 20years) which is not possible.

It is a rotational thing that moves around all the families in Ibadan.

I believe you're "educated". Kindly put your education into use by reading the first paragraph (if you know what it means) of the story. The OP already made a reference to his previous complaint.

Talking about comprehension, you have to be able read before you can comprehend. I doubt you can read properly cos if you can you won't have made the mistake you did. They say "illiteracy is a disease" but I say "half education is dangerous". I wonder what your score in WAEC english comprehension would've been.

You made a mistake by using your half education to insult me. Instead of you to own up and apologise you still went ahead to insult me. Once again putting your half education on full display.

Once again honey, go back and read the other threads. This time around try and deduce where the white girl issue came to play. This time around take into consideration his past foreign trips.

viviangist2:
Am i right or wrong
You're wrong dear.

The Dasuki picture shows him being escorted by EFCC. Meaning he is coming from the efcc custody. Nigerian law that established EFCC does not make it compulsory for EFCC detainee to appear in court handcuffed.

The Metuh Picture shows him arriving in a prison van escorted by prison warders. The Prison law states that anyone in prison custody must arrive the court premises in Handcuffs.

Your question should now be why was Metuh transfered to prison custody while Dasuki was left in EFCC custody?

Answer is that. Dasuki is still being interrogated while Metuh's interrogation process has being concluded and the court ordered him to be transferred to prison custody to be remanded their pending the hearing of his bail application.

Remember this is not Metuh's first court appearance. The first was not in handcuffs whereas Dasuki's picture was his first court appearance before being remanded in prison.

And Yes you're a tribal bigot to even come up with such manipulative and sentimental trash.

Apobolokemi appeared in court twice without handcuffs why didn't you question that. I can't remember Ramond Dokpesi coming to court in handcuffs.

But you kept mute on it because it didn't suit your tribalistic purpose

It is now clear and confirm that you're and IPOB blogger.

You are WICKED!
So much emotional manipulation to the point where it's not fair

@scantee She won't learn now. I've seen it happen to too many girls around me. The moment the boyfriend is trying to move the relationship to the next level is the time devil in the form of ex or another random prince charming decides to show up.

Most of them end up dumping the boyfriend for ex or the new guy and they get burnt really badly. That's exactly what your girlfriend is going through.

Just give her space, she'll come back to beg you herself. Trust me.
Too much emotional laxity got him here.

You're a lady and I expect you to think same way you just did.

I was once in such situation before with an ex. I accidentally did the same thing to her (may not be up to all I said but to some extent). I went for service and she started her shakara because she was this very attractive type. Both in appearance, voice and intonation. I just left her and let her be. Midway through my service year, valentine came up I showed up in town with another ex of mine. I just saw her greeted her and left with my ex. BTW I was not getting back with my ex it was just a coincidence that we saw each other that day. We got back after almost 3years but she reminded me what I did. I simply told her it was because she was feeling like a rockstar back then that made me do it. Of which it wasn't intentional back then. So from there I learnt a great lesson.

After my service year when I started working in Lagos my closest friend had the same issue with the girl he was planning to get married to. When he called me I busted into laughter and told him to give her space and have fun. My guy went back and started begging the girl. He was so down to the point that he was already loosing weight. That was when the girl dropped another bombshell that her mom's pastor already told her not to marry him. That they're not compatible. Bla bla bla. At this point my friend took my advise and jumped back into the street. Had a FWB relationship with a girl for almost a year. They latter came back together with the girl complaining he abandoned her. When my guy reminded her all she said back then, she started apologising that it was an ex that reconnected with her on facebook. Long story short they're now married with a 2years old (Jan 1) beautiful baby girl and expecting another.

So you see am not wicked but in life you have to be strong willed. If the guy has enough guts to pull it off he will be the one to enjoy the glory. Remember no gut no glory. But if he continues like this, it may eventually affect his job performance which may lead to job loss.

OP scantee pls I beg you. Ignore this jomoh fellow's advice infact throw it into a trash can till Jesus comes. You can see that he is also a "white people" worshipper and a bitter man. And I bet he is not even married or in a committed relationship.

Now to your issue.

This is one of the problems of long distance relationships. The physical side. Now I am not talking about sex, but the bonds that are formed with being in close proximity with each other. Its now even made harder with the fact that she is in a youth environment (university). Where all he needs to do is show her some attention and she starts having doubts, meanwhile all she is able to get most of the time from is your voice on the phone. Women like attention. Humans in general like attention. I will liken your situation to a child born into a family where the father is always on transfer or works on an offshore rig. He will bond more with uncles around his compound and in school than the father who is hardly ever around.

Now it is not your fault that you can't be with her as she would like, you guys are in different stages of your life. Marriage MIGHT harmonize that, but that is by the way. I am neither excusing her actions because she is in a committed relationship and if she had any misgivings about the relationship, she should have communicated with you. I am just trying to see her position. Communication, that is what I advice you to do now. Have a heart to heart with her now. Iron these issues. And if you have or can create breaks from works, spend it with her. Let her have your attention and not feel like she can get it from elsewhere.

Finally keep in mind that a lot of the guys on this forum(from their comments) are still in "sampling punanii" and "girls are bitchess" stage. You on the other hand are a responsible man who wants to get married. You can't run away from every problem or treat it like you're a teenager. Because that is what all that "make her jealous crap" is all about. Abi are you in secondary school? So communicate with her and try to make it work, if it doesn't then seek for closure. For both your sake, I hope it works. Goodluck scantee
And you expect him to put up with someone that said at some point that she's sleeping in the same room with her friends brother for good two weeks and later she said was in her room with a neighbour at an odd hour. And that is someone who is already in a committed relationship.

So when and if they get married the guy won't be able to travel with a rest of mind because he has a wife that need a lot of attention and if he can't be there to give her, she might go with another person. Suddenly am tempted to say the person behind this moniker will do the same if in that position.

Madam the world doesn't revolve around ladies alone. We men too need attention, a lot of it.

I bet you never read the part where he said he is on leave but his so called girlfriend is nowhere to be found.

Or you expect him to leave his job so that he can give her the full attention she needs.

Sometimes if you don't have better argument to present it is best you ignore rather than come up with trash that portrays you like a LovePeddler.

FYI I've gone through his numerous threads on this same girl from the beginning that is where I formed my opinion but you on the other hand in a bid to impress and look different jumped another persons comment to not only to write trash but also to insult.

What guarantees do we have that you're not an abandoned single mother or someone elses baby mama who has not been able to tie down a real man. We also have a lot of your type on this forum.

I might want to ignore you but for the personal insult and the fact that you made excuse for a cheating lady makes you no better than a call girl. Your type are the reason for the moral decadence in the society.

Good advice bro

But you lost me when you advised him to date a banker. Hahahahahahaha
Not to sound biased, but dating a banker is even worse. Either marketer, bank operations or management.
Most of them are "pass around", if you know what I mean!!

grin grin grin grin
I understand what you mean. Except for the marketers, trust me most of them are dying to meet a good man. Why? they don't have time to socialise. At least my guy's mind will be at rest that the girl will value the relationship.

His present girlfriend has too much time for guys giving her attention. Not that bankers don't have enough suitors but they don't really have the luxury of time to size them up and know if the guy is for real.

Most of them you see being tossed around are actually looking for the good guy but they get cheated cos they are mostly desperate to have someone to call their own.

In short they(bankers) usually appreciate what they have cos they don't have the luxury of time to choose from the "numerous" suitors.

just that the more she calls & text the more i feel for her and melt, and all these our outing/tripz pics on my phone & laptops is not helping matter @all, & i don't even have the mind to Del them..just can't believe this happning to me, but i have to face the reality.
Don't delete them. Just pack them and keep somewhere somewhere you won't or can't access easily.

I know its not easy but you just have to disconnect yourself from her emotionally. Block your mind from seeing her as someone you love. Start seeing her as a close friend rather than a lover.

When she texts, don't text back immediately even if she says its urgent. Take sometime before you reply and don't let emotions show in your text.

Same with calls. Reduce your calls and don't return her missed call until hours later or the next day. Make it a duty not to let your missed call be more than twice.

Anytime you're tempted to make the call or to continue calling after calling twice, just drop your phone and walk away from it as far as possible.

If you can do it for just 3weeks, she'll notice the change. If she queries you, give her excuses of work stress or that you forgot then apologise. As time goes on she'll realise she's no more in control.

NOTE: no matter what she says or does, never let things go back to the way it was before. Just keep giving her promises but don't change the new attitude. When she confronts you do not admit that you've changed until after sometime if she persists. You can now let her know that you changed because you can't trust her again until she regain your trust. Let her feel she's losing you. Let her feel insecure and start chasing you but if she doesn't chase after you, just count her as another one that bites the dust and move on.

I repeat no matter what she does or says never let her melt your heart again until you've put the ring on that finger. Even after the marriage there are still ways to make her feel insecure.

BTW please and please give your crushers some chance and have fun. Give at least 2 of them chance. You don't know they might give you the lasting peace of mind you so much seek but if they don't it will have help you in more ways than one to reshape your mind and relationship.

Its time to mingle. Go out, meet girls, flirt around. She's too comfortable. Give the ones crushing on you chance. Make her feel insecure.

bro i understands u quite alright, my major concern here is that she seem to be confused about what she is doing as if she is under something, she is a different person when we are 2geda, we have issues mostly when she is school.
Bro. Women are the most deceptive beings ever created by God. Even God himself said it in Bible and Qurans.

They are they only set of people that have the ability to live more than two deifferent lives successfully without mixing it because they believe what they do.

What ever she says or do whenever you're together is not and never will be the yard stick for judging them. They mostly live by a rule that guys are starting to adopt- "she's yours whenever she's with you. She's lost whenever she's not". Play by that rule and see her run after you.

BTW I went through your threads and some comments on it. Broda, you need to quickly and urgently disconnect whatever you have with that babe now and forever. She's never going to be faithful. I even read the part where you claim to here male voices in the background which she confirmed. Twice for heavens sake. For Gods sake you're not a cripple are you?

I won't sugar coat anything for you cos am a guy like you. This is not love. She never loved you. She only took you as a benefactor, her money bag.

Its time you concentrated more on your own job and give her less than 5% of you time.

Also, you don't need all this distant relationships very few people can sustain it. Especially not sexually active people. Especially not students who have a lot of time on their hands to mess around. Consider dating a working class babe like you who probably have little or no time on her hand to be messing around. Bankers are good if you get a nice one. They don't have much time to socialise, so they appreciate the ones that come for them much better.

Wish you all the best.
