RomanceRe: After Series Of Heart Break, I Am Confused by jomoh: 1:11pm On Dec 06, 2016
Broadsway:
please help me out. Cos I diverted it to my education, friends and leadership roles but even so I still come back to this same spot
the fact is that you think you've gotten over your heart breaks but you've not.

you're still afraid of making mistakes. of falling for the wrong guy.

relationships is all about making mistakes.

learn to love yourself and have mad fun.

again learn to love yourself. of you don't love yourself, you can't love others. don't just talk or chat with them, make them your friends and confidante. you won't even know when you will start liking them.

sometimes the reason we can't seem to love someone is because we take the relationship too serious.

make them understand you need time to decide but use that time to get to know them and their friends while trying to make their friends your friends.

tell them not to try and impress you but instead should be blunt and direct with you.

how many of your own brother uses any of it. even you do you buy an a made.

it is normal for anybody irrespective of their tribe or location to condemn inferior good (provided there's an option for a quality one).

now that the dollar is high, making it hard for your brothers again to import the foreign goods ultimately eliminating competition, attention is now focused on aba made.

hopefully your brothers won't disappoint and improve their quality.
PhonesRe: 6 Reasons Android Will Always Be More Popular Than Apple's Ios by jomoh: 9:35am On Dec 05, 2016

The big reason people with the budget go for iPhone and stick with it is because of all media buzz iPhone generates and also the reputation of being "classy". When Apple starts making cheaper phones people will drift to iPhone initially to get the experience. But after awhile the excitement will wear off and things will balance like 50 - 50 market share between Apple and Android.
I think I disagree with you. iPhone actually is created to target those high class people. reason being that a rich busy business man don't care about phone rooting to be able to do some things. if he gets tired of the phone or the phone is not doing what he wants, he gets another one.

the real fact is that those high class people don't need all those.

if they need a good photograph they get a photographer to make a photoshot.

if they need more space for storage, they get an Apple system.

if they need a song they buy it in iTunes (them how much is it to them).

they see a video they like, they go to iTunes,

they need an app, they go to app store

iPhone gives you simplicity with class. it is designed to make you life simple not complicated.

you want to charge an iPhone, you don't even have to look at the charging port to insert it. even when you're waisted or in the middle of your sleep you can plug in your charger.

that is how simple they want to make your life. right now iPhone is the main protagonist of cordless earphone.

what is most important to high class people is the privacy of their data and iPhone is the most secure mobile device you can get anywhere today not even virus affects it.

one thing I hate about android is it's instability. you buy an android in the US you get to Nigeria to unlock it and boom, it doesn't connect to 3G or higher network. only 2G.

from iPhone you know what to expect. no real business man that values his time has the time to go through a tutorial on how to do something on his new phone. you stop using a Samsung android phone to get new HTC one that looks cool only for you to have to start a new learning process to know how the phone works. who has that time.

in spite of all the unnecessary rubbish added to android to attract it's users, there's still nothing important an android really has over an iPhone.

RomanceRe: My Fiancee Is All About Money And Fast Foods.. Pls Advise by jomoh: 1:12am On Dec 05, 2016
gedtalks:
My people pleaseeee I need sincere advise here. Your advise will definitely guide me on the next step to take.

There is a beautiful girl I've been considering getting married to, but the way she requests money and fast food is making her look very ... lol.. "hungry" and opportunistic to me. The values she sees in a man seem to me like its basically what he will BUY for her. I confess that I made matters worse initially by "fast fooding" each time we meet... Now I think she sees me like a free lunch at crunchies. If I call her in the afternoon, she says I'm hungry.. its so irritating now.. in fact I lost a lot of regards for her..but she doesn't know yet.

Recently she asked me for some money and I refused very politely..she said she was "disappointed".

I wonder if she even loves any other thing about me asides the MONEY I WILL GIVE HER. she pays ABSOLUTELY NO attention the things I want her to see in me...like level of maturity, my leadership skills, I taught she was just being childish, but lately I discovered its just her nature. her ideology about a guy is WHAT WILL I GET FROM HIM.. I might dump her .. i wont even talk to her about it. please advise me
Everyone makes mistakes at a point while wooing these women and women as we all know them, give the a yard they take a mile but it takes a real matured man to turn it around.

I'll tell you the story of my cousin. He also started the same way with a lady he met and everything went along the same line as yours. this babe even go as far as saying she makes her hair for as much as 40k. long story short my cousin left her. 2years after they met again. she was expecting the same fast food treatment but this time my cousin was blunt. he told her that he doesn't do that again. of she's interested, she will have to some down to his house and cook like a wife she wants to be.

my guy all is not lost. you can give her your last try before deciding to move on. you don't know she might not see anything bad in it but if you can find a way to stop her from dragging you to the fast food joints, it will be great.

the most important thing is that don't let her be the first to talk about food. you should be the first to talk about you going to the market for food stuff for your house. when she asks when you start cooking tell her you're getting tired of eating out that you now prefer home made foods. as time goes on you playfully invite her to cook for you that you'll like to taste her food.

honestly if you try this, if she's yours shell stay and if she's not she'd find her way. cos she'll know you're getting serious already.

honestly I've never seen anyone go from iPhone back to android because of it's functionality.

Ihe only reason I see that make people go back to android is MONEY.

I for one met android before I met iphone but when I met iphone it was like a divine love story. Though am back to using android albeit temporarily due to finance because my iPhone was stolen. In spite of this I still own an iPad. Still everytime I hold my android phone, I can but feel as if there's something missing.

Let me state some reasons I personally prefer an iPhone to android anyday.

security
camera
guaranteed functionality/stability
simplicity
completeness
second hand value

iPhone is a grandfather to android.

Apple is as old as Microsoft, IBM, but still stronger than the two of them as of today despite the fact that the founder is dead.

Truth is that Apple product is the ferrarri, the lamborghini, the Porsche, the bugatti, the maybach, the rolls royce of phones while android is the Honda, the Toyota, the nissan and at best the bmw, the Benz.

Truth is that everybody sees ferrarri as too expensive when they are poor and gives all sorts of reasons why the Toyota is better but when they get rich you won't find a Toyota in their garage.

TruthNigeria:
You're just amazing....more satisfying with your comments than having a breakfast. 1love
Thanks bro.

I just had to comment. it's been a while I commented on anything that had to do with this administration all because most of the comments I see are either filled with opinions that displayed shallow mindedness, pure ignorance or hypocrisy.

Most people just either did not know what they signed up for thinking PMB will turn Nigeria into Dubai in a year just because he made some promise without taking into consideration the deep underlying issues or they are ignorant or displaying their hypocrisy while some are just being plain stuqid.

An example of the stupid ones is a close friend of mine. Once we were travelling to Lagos from Ibadan in his vehicle along the way we picked up a police man for a free ride. They started saying all sorts about the economy and administration I tried to make them understand but I later found out I couldn't and decided to keep quiet while the continue all sorts till we got to lagos. This my friend was a graduate of accounting and a former staff of GTB (headquaters) thinking the same way with a policeman who most probably at the best was a primary school holder. Obviously I can't call that ignorance, neither is it hypocrisy but plain stupidity.

Eventually when we got to Lagos at his elder brother's place, his elder brother (a graduate of architecture who 92nd his own company) and his brother's wife (a fresh graduate of chemistry) both commented and he was made to look like a fool.

He said why didn't I say anything in the vehicle, I said I saw their conversation as a chatter of illiterate market women. Everyonelse bursted into laughter except him because he realised it was the truth.
LiteratureRe: Nigeria Was Sinking When Buhari Took Power -soyinka by jomoh:
I vowed never to join the group of wailers unroll after three years of PMBs administration knowing fully my views during the campaign that brought PMB to Aso Rock simply because I will not destroy what I help build. At the least not until I see that the cause is lost.

People with shallow minds that lacks the deep understanding of the real "cause" of the mess we are in and how we for here are mostly the ones shouting.

With all the corruption and embezzlement that Nigerians in power are known for, only a fool will believe all the campaign promises made during the election. Donald trump rode to power on the back of his public display of hatred against the blacks, mexicans and Muslims threatening to deport all of them which most of them believed he will do. But even before swearing in, he has back tracked two steps already. First he said he won't deport all of them but only the illegal immigrants. Later he said it is not all illegal immigrants but the ones with criminal records. That is one out of the many promises he made that he has back tracked on.

That is a country that is well organised and have the capacity to to almost whatever they set their sights on.

Better organised countries like Saudi Arabia, Russia and the likes are feeling the effect of drop in crude oil prices. Reason for the reduction of their daily production for the first time ever. Just to force up the price of crude in the market. How much more a prodigal country like Nigeria that squandered all it's earned riches.

Anyone that believes the present government can make any tangible change in the First 3years of it's administration is to me a big FOOL.

I was in Abuja during the campaign and election but foreseeing the impending hardship that will fall on the Abuja economy I relocated back to my strong base in Ibadan where I can get strong supports. Now the people I worked with are complaining and finding it hard to make ends meet.

Presently the economy might be in shambles but it has always been like this. The only difference is that the free money that were being thrown around to paper over the deep underlying cracks are no more there to throw around. I have been surviving it for a long time, Long before PMB came. So if I have to manage for PMBs first three and half years, after which I can conveniently conclude if PMB had failed or succeeded, it won't kill me.

I never regretted helping to send the theiving slowpoke and his gang of bandits back to his otuoke village.

No you are wrong. Trump's victory just saved the world from a third world war. Trump openly stated during his campaign that he likes Putin and wants to work work with him
Trump vowed to take America back to being a business haven instead of fighting needless wars.
You need to read about nostradamous prediction about the 3rd world war. I mean his predictions on events leading onto the 3rd world war. I once watched the documentary video which also included the 9/11 WTC bombings, the war in Syria. I watched another Christian video about the battle in mosul(IRAQ) long before the battle started.

Also Google the Simpson's shows about Donald trump and world trade center.

Y'all might say it's all conspiracy theories but when you compare the theories with the realities on ground. You might be surprised with what you'll find out.

If you think that was a conspiracy theory, lets consider the facts on ground.

He promised to stop funding NATO. If you don't know, the west has been using NATO to put a check on Russia, Iran and North Korea. So if he stops US funding of NATO, what then becomes of NATO.

He promised to withdraw U.S. troops from the south China sea which is keeping checks on China. He said the U.S. cannot be the police of the world.

He promised to withdraw U.S. troops from south Korea unless they pay more. What do you think N. Korea will do to S. Korea if that happens.

He said he will defeat Isis but stands against the offensive to push Isis out of Mosul in Iraq.

He promised to tear up the Iran nuclear deal, the supreme leader of Iran promised that Iran will light the fire to burn it. It simply means Iran don't care. If he tears the deal, Iran will go back to resume their nuclear program and will be unwilling to come back to the negotiation table. Israel and other western powers will get scared. It will hand the Iranians the initiative in future negotiations and it will be harder for the west to reach another agreement with Iran. The other option will be the use of force and we all know Russia, N. Korea, China and other allys won't fold their arms and watch the west bullying Iran.

I remember the words used by the narrator of the nostradamous video to describe the U.S.-Russia relationship -according to nostradamous- were "strange" and "unholy".

Now tell me what word you can use to describe the proposed Trump relationship below.

"Trump says he wants to work with Russia who is an ally of the Syrian government and Iran. Iran is a sworn enemy of Israel. Israel is a strong U.S. ally."

The republicans claim to be against homosexuals but tell me how the Bill legalising gay managed to get through the house of Rep and Senate that is controlled by the same republicans.

Now with the little I have analysed, if you think Trump will make the U.S. great again, you need to think twice or maybe you will need to get the story surrounding the Simpson's show on Donald Trumps presidency. Just Google "Donald trump's presidency according to the Simpson's show".

Everything about the American presidency has always been a set up. Its not about to change.

I wont even talk about how nearly impossible it is for a non military man or a non politician to win against well established politicians. Forget the story you're told in the media, everything is a set up.

With the way Trump has directed his campaign and his promised, there are only three options for him.
1. Push him programs to the limit and cause a lot of caos around the world.
2. Maitain status quo and continue with the democrats programs
3. Do nothing and drag the U.S. back rather than move forward.

Lol cheesy
I have to admit you have a strange believe of how you think we men think.

You see real men want to date the make-up girls and marry the natural beauty ones.

Real men want to date the club girl material and marry the house wife material.

So next time you see a man go after the make up girl, it is either the man is not a real man or a real man not ready for a serious relationship that will lead to marriage.

Some time real men fall in love with make up girls cos you can't choose who you fall in love with but before they proceed to marriage, they try to make sure that that club girl material can be transformed into a house wife material.

While it is good to use make ups and be street-wise, it is up to the girl to know the limit and not go too far.

On the issue of girls wanting guys to spend on them, it happens everywhere in the world. Just that Nigerian girls are more vocal, less reserved and less reasonable with it.

PoliticsOpinion: Dino Melaye Is Ruining His Own Ambition by jomoh(op): 11:54pm On Jul 17, 2016
Editor’s note: Senator Dino Melye’s altercation with Senator Oluremi Tinubu has spurred various reactions from political commentators with some blaming the Kogi senator for his outburst.

In this opinion, Emmanuel Ugwu predicts that Dino Melaye’s political career is already going down the drain.

The man, Dino Melaye
No one who is conversant with the biography and career of ‘Senator’ Dino Melaye would be shocked by corroborated reports that he threatened to beat up and ‘’impregnate’’ a female colleague during a closed door session of the Nigerian senate on Tuesday. The act, outrageous as it sounds, is in character. Dino has always been the quintessence of a street thug. His personal and public lives show a symmetrical penchant for hysterics, bullying
and violence.

Dino truncated his two attempts at marriage with his own hands. He battered his wives beyond the ‘normal threshold’ of a black eye. He inflicted life-threatening injuries on them with such meanness and frequency that the victims cottoned up to the fact that this husband meant to perpetrate murder in installments.

Only a couple of months, Dino threatened to assault Senator James Manager (PDP, Delta South) in an executive session of the senate. Manager’s heinous crime was that he advised that the Senate risks tarnishing its image as an institution if it does not extricate itself from ‘Senate President’ Bukola Saraki’s trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. Dino charged at the older Manager and moved to attack him.

In his earlier incarnation as a member of the National Assembly, Dino fought on the floor of the House of Representatives. The majority of the legislators were angling for the resignation of the scandal-tainted Speaker Patricia Etteh. Dino tried to save her by starting a fight. He was beaten and stripped half-naked. He walked out in rags.
When Dino hectored Senator Oluremi Tinubu and hurtled towards her so that his alarmed colleagues rushed to save him from himself –by arresting, pacifying and taming him –it was the force of habit at work. He had been beating up women by rote. But since his two wives walked out, he had been suffering the deprivation of existing without a woman to abuse.

Remi-Tinubu-Dino-Melaye
Dino’s fifteen minutes of madness boils down to forced withdrawal symptoms. He had not had the fix of woman-beating for a long time. He desperately wanted to be a ‘wife beater’ again. Even if he had to do it to another man’s wife. Even if he had to do it in the chambers of the senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

His threat to beat up and ‘’impregnate’’ Mrs Tinubu in one breath is not a thoughtless indulgence in non sequitur or mixed metaphors. It was an externalization of a perverse sexual orientation that seeks pleasure in the harm and pains of a woman. It was the coming out of a closet revelation of a sadomasochist!
A normal man cannot conceive of the intimate act of ‘’impregnating’’ a woman as an improvement on the horror of beating her. It takes a sick, demented man to scream at the top of his voice that he would beat up a woman and escalate her woes by mounting her. It takes a Dino Melaye to lech after a married woman and to expressly ventilate it in a language that pretends to be anything but a promise to rape!

The many sins of Dino Melaye
Dino is a misogynist. He doesn’t believe in the personhood of the female human. He was the senator who derailed a reasonable debate on the necessity of promoting the patronage of made in Nigeria goods by educating the senate that there is such a thing as ‘’made in Nigeria women.’’

Dino was the senator who stood up during a debate on a bill prohibiting sexual harassment of students by lecturers in tertiary institutions and suggested that sexual predation happens when ladies wearing ‘’seductive and provocative dresses’’ ‘’enter the offices of lecturers who have ‘’no anointing to resist sexual temptation.’’
Dino threatened to beat up and ‘’impregnate’’ Mrs. Tinubu in order to shame her for her gender. To remind her that whoever she was, he was the superior sex. She was a mere woman, easy to be conquered, prostrated and violated right into her most private space.

The threat to ‘’impregnate’’ by force escaped from a phalocentric mindset that regards sex as a weapon of war. In Dino’s world, sex is the ultimate victory lap. Sex is what you do to a woman to trivialize her femininity. It’s what you do to impose on her an acute sense of her inferiority.
The story says that when the echo of his voice returned to him, he walked back the impracticable threat in a manner only Dino could. He said he wouldn’t bother to fulfill the threat on Mrs. Tinubu. The former first lady of Lagos State was a dry fish. He would rather do it to ‘’a more robust and beautiful woman like Stella Oduah.’’

That’s the rarity of senator of a country declaring his sexual fantasy and grading his female colleagues based on how close their physique came to matching his specifications of an ideal bedmate!

After news of his shameful action went viral and he began trending as a butt of jokes on Nigerian Twitter, Dino tweeted a denunciation of SaharaReporters, the medium that broke the news. He would later follow that up with a press conference; a self-massage session before the media.
Dino told his auditors he was “a responsible Nigerian.” ”A role model.’’ ” A champion of anti-corruption.” The report that he threatened to assault and ‘’impregnate’’ the lady senator was a lie. He had never and would never conduct himself in a manner unworthy of the people of his constituency and their culture.

In no time who the liar was became clear. Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s husband, Bola Tinubu confirmed the reports. Dino had truly made the threat to beat up and to ‘’impregnate.’’ He had even boasted that he had immunity. He would commit the abuse and ‘’nothing will happen.’’

Mr. Tinubu called Dino a ‘’disgrace’’ to the Nigerian senate. Okun Parapo, the socio-cultural group of the Yoruba-speaking people of Kogi state, his own extended family, disowned him, calling him a son of reproach.
It goes without saying that Dino cannot be properly characterized. He cannot be characterized because he has no character. Whatever you say of his vulgarism, his barbarism and his love for products of civilization and loath for the power of civilization proves an understatement of the baseness of the man. When you venture to frame his uncouthness, your resultant point-by-point takedown of the figure doesn’t do due justice. It, instead, reads like a stunted compliment.

Why is it so?
Dino vanquishes you in the outer court of understanding. A man’s idiosyncrasies have to make relatable sense to you before you can be in a position to assay him and choose words that meaningfully approximate to his quality. He doesn’t lend himself to comprehensibility.

He is a compulsive buffoon that keeps evolving in complexity. A fool that keeps waxing stupid in sophistication.
The problem with Dino, though, is not that he is a fool. The problem with Dino is that he is a fool that loves to perform in the spotlight. He is an erratic fool that goes out of his way to impress you. He is the fool that keeps pushing the boundaries of idiocy. He is the fool that demolishes impossibilities. He is the fool’s fool!

After a disastrous time in the lower house and his punitive banishment to political wilderness by his constituents, you would have thought that when next he appears on the national stage, he would be a different person from the avatar of nuisance you used to know. He would have rehabilitated himself in private. Or the passage of years would have mellowed him.
But Dino hasn’t changed for the better. He is still the star actor of shame. He has even become a more audacious miscreant. A narcissistic insurgent that makes an exhibition of his own unclothedness.
Dino is not the only devious person in the Nigerian senate. The Nigerian senate is a menagerie of pedophiles, drug barons and thieves. These crooks generally blend in the woodwork. They keep a low profile and take care not do further damage to their name.
Dino’s distinction is that he has as much appetite for scandals as he relishes villainy. He loves to be the issue of the day. He loves the mockery, the ridicule, the constant mention of his name.

Dino claims to have earned six degrees. He doesn’t reflect any token of the briefest flirtation with education. In his elements, he comes across as a deranged English-speaking ventriloquist.

Dino recalls that he checked into the university from some motor park where he was a bus conductor. He is still the bus conductor. Nothing in his pattern of behavior suggests that he transitioned.
The way to explain the irony of his abundance of degrees and his abject poverty of decorum is that he probably collected them the same way he collects things that he imagines would enhance his social standing. He bought them like his exotic cars and his 22 of chieftaincy titles!

Dino Melaye recently announced on live TV that he would soon be the president of Nigeria. He repeated ‘the dream’ in his rebuttal of the current story –in the same speech in which he editorialized on a woman’s menopause!

Dino is a vulgarian and a thug. His presidential dream represents a threat to ‘’impregnate’’ Nigeria!

Of course, no one said otherwise but you need at least 25bn to float a commercial bank.
I was actually buttressing your point.

Truth234:
There is no commercial bank with 12bn market capitalization. After bank consolidation you need at least 25bn.
Even presently there is no bank with 25b capitalisation in Nigeria. They have all been recapitalised many times.

No Nigerian bank has less than 80b capital base.
