The document – prosecution’s case summary – was signed by a Principal State Counsel, D.E Kaswe on BEHALF of the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and is among documents filed before the Abuja High Court.
I thought they said it was an internal affair (of the legislative). how come a document was signed on behalf on the Attorney General (an executive).

You still didn't address what will be done with the sacked workers. Maybe there should be a program where they are taught on how to survive on the #23000 allowance as teachers? I think that would be better.
I actually did. remember where i talked about the "to-be-sacked" staffs. I said they can be the starters of businesses like the mobile money and other resultant initiatives that will assist their drive for reduction in cash transactions over the counter. i made another example of online payment settlement like paypal. Mobile money, Paypal, payoneer, are all forms of reducing customers at banks and such initiatives will require agents to start up.

Upon all that, I also expressed my fears about our Nigerian attitude of not having such a succession plan in place cater for fall-out of such moves. Had it been we have a working and effective Labour laws in Nigeria, such things would not happen but since we do not, we can't help but experience such. You cant just sack your staffs because your policy is changing. You just have to find a way to retrain them and repost them to where they can fit in.

So what do you think can be done to prevent people from loosing their jobs? Or you not concerned about that?
This is actually a very welcomed development.

The banks and CBN can start a mobile money campaign and other alternative money settlement platforms like online Paypal and the likes. All this will help push our cashless policy a bit further.

My problem and fear is how the "to-be-sacked staffs" can be absorbed into the society without loosing their source of income. Nigeria for what we are known for, we never have a succession plan to cater for the fallout of such things. For example, the "to-be-sacked staffs" can be the first starters of such initiatives. also their should be a period for experimenting for easy transition instead of the sudden change.

I will also advocate for the cutting down of our currency denominations like the N1000, N500 and N200 note. serious economies dont use such. the highest euro note you can find i think is 100euro the higher for Dollar is $100 the highest Pounds sterling is 50pounds. So what are we doing with N1000, N500 and N200 notes that encourage armed rubbery, corruption using cash, money rituals. Imagine if the maximum we have is N100 will the likes of Saraki be able to keep N300million in his house?

It seems you are rooting for Hillary? The same Hillary that was part of the Shenanigans that went down in Libya and a strong supporter of US current policy in Syria. In as much as Trump sounds unhinged, I would prefer someone that would not meddle in the affairs of other countries or at least if need be let it be in the interest of the poor masses of the country in question not in the interest of the US corporations that paid for their election campaigns
If the bold is Actually what you're looking for in an american president, then you absolutely have no business disturbing your brain about US elections because it can never and will never happen.

America is built on feeding on other nations to survive. If they don't do that, the american economy will crash. How do you expect them to sell their weapons and other stuffs.

The only difference between a Republican and a Democrat is their approach. While Democrats use subtle propaganda to achieve their aim, Republicans on the other hand use brutal force. In the end, their goal is the same thing.

Divide them and Rule over them by creating chaos either by deploying Brutal Force(Republican) or using Subtle Propaganda(Democrats)

How about this in Ikota Complex?

Within 8-10 minutes after any rain, the water will drain off and you'll not see the flooded street again.

The worse of all is VGC.

This is effect of blocked or inadequate drainage system. It can happen anywhere.
There can never be a drainage system in Lagos that will solve the problem of flooding in the state (FACT).

Reason: If you look at the topography of Lagos state as a whole you find out that the whole state is a flat land. No hills, No valleys. Just flat with just a few meters above the sea level. Frequent rising water level will definitely have this kind of effect. Especially in areas closer to the water.

kettykin:
But my question is that if the North is independent of the south east and south south then why this angst and trepidation about biafra
because the biafra struggle started after the 2nd coupe(by northerners) which was a retaliation of the 1st coupe (by the easterners against other regions)

because the 1st coupe carried out by the easterners against the rest of nigeria reversed the fortunes of this once great nation

because the 1st coupe carried out by the easterners against the rest of nigeria started a negative precedence of coupe and counter coup in the history of this great nation

because the 1st coupe carried out by the easterners against the rest of nigeria destroyed the independence of each region of the country when the regional form of government was abolished by the coupe plotters making us a single "UNUNITED" entity instead of regions.

because the 1st coupe carried out by the easterners against the rest of nigeria introduced the interference of military in the ruling of this country

If the 1st coupe had not happened, the biafra struggle would have succeeded because the easterners, westerners, northerners would be in control of their regions instead of it being under the control of the federal government.

If the 1st coupe had not happened, the eastern region wouldve been the richest in the country with oil but the lack of foresight on the the part of the greeedy coup plotters didnt allow them to see the good in the region

If the 1st coupe had not happened, the whole country wouldnt have been oil dependent only the eastern region wouldve owned the oil

If the 1st coupe had not happened, the self determination that the biafra agitators base their arguments on would have been much easier to achieve.

The rest of Nigeria is angry because the easterners destroyed this country by staging the coupe

The rest of Nigeria is angry because the easterners plunged this country into its first ever war.

The rest of Nigeria is angry because the easterners are trying to repeat the same thing they did some 40years ago

The rest of Nigeria is angry because we are tired of the easterners dragging us back in history with their selfish and unnecessary interference in the unity and progress of this country.

The rest of Nigeria is angry because people forgive but history dont.

Nice to be back!

Cats ain't lazy, they like to hunt for their food.

The owner of this site doesn't know what he's setting himself up for. I was like ook when I saw you mentioned Ibadan in your first post I quoted. The wicks said they are in Ibadan with Yoruba names to go with it and even spoke Yoruba well, but not as clean as those that have lived in the SW for a long time, some pronunciations gave them away as impostors. Same way their desperation can drive them to find out the names of these things from the local herbalists, you just can't put anything pass them.

Got your email address, and will shoot you a mail.

where've you being? I thought you've left nl or you changed your moniker because of the threats.

How do you know I'm on whatsapp? We could, but I would love to find out if you are who I think you are first. What city are you in? You see, some people have taken what happens here on nairaland to a different level by trying to hack into my email. They have even called me from nairaland when I never gave out my number. I know some Mods from a section of the country revealed the info to their kinsmen. My sisters and I are playing along until we get enough to nail someone. So, whatsapp will not be such a good idea just yet, but we can do email. If you don't mind, post your email address here, and we can go from there.

Let me be here when you post it so you can take delete it immediately.
Lol. I think you're right I've seen it couple of times hunting for bush rats on the fences.

Woow. This is some serious allegation here. I've gone through some of your posts and I must say your comments would have made you so many enemies from that section of the country. Contrary to what you think though, am from Ibadan or how else do you think someone from that side will know something like Madarikan.

My mail is still the same as the one I used to send you a PM(omoh4u2nv@yahoo.com. I only have two emails, the one for formal engagements and the one for social media. If you choose to reply I would so much love to do mails. At least start from somewhere then you get to know who I really am.

Oh really!

White Cat = Ologbo Funfun

I love cats, they are friendly and harmless. Cat take after their owners and in most cases look like them, check a neighbor with cats, look at his/her face and then look at the cats. They are clean and easy to live with. They can speak your inner language. Your cat can silently alert you of any impending danger. In general kind souls keep cats while the wicked keep dogs. Your level of spirituality depends on the color of your cat. Black cats are more about evil, white cats are the ones that come to the rescue and halt chaos.and can be vicious when needed but never draw the first blood. Black or white cats have nothing to do with the color of we humans, people are from peach to very dark skin color, no human is white.
Woow. While me I was thinking it could be from your skin colour. It is actually deeeeper I just can't get enough of it. Almost everything about you so far radiates spirituality. I never thought of cats beyond the stereotype of the "devil's instrument".

Any chance you have a missing cat, cos I have one that lurks around my compound. grin I don't know if its stalking me or what but it is mostly seen on fences behind my room. I remember a time I was praying in the night and I saw it on my fence looking straight into my eyes.

I like their meek demeanour but I fear them for the fact that they can be spiritually manipulated for evil intentions.

I didn't know what those things were until later on.

Hmm! I was not told about any convenant, or maybe I've just forgotten, but around the time my g granny passed away strange things were happening and a book about herbs, their uses and other things handwritten in Yoruba was handed to me by a family member. It was even too difficult to read the cover alone.

One thing is, those things are a big burden to carry around jare! One is not fully here or there. Living in two different worlds can be very tormenting, and I'm still sometimes told to "tap it". I was like tap what, in addition to this, I don't think so! But it has a great advantage especially when used with clean hands and heart. More questions than answers jare!

I'll check my mail.
Its your choice if you feel like carrying it around or not but you just can't imagine the kind of awe am in of that your grandmother.

As in, do you know what most Nigerians go through to break free from spiritual bondages their ancestors left them with? Some even commit suicide when they've tried all they could and couldn't break free.
