You were not created just to add up to the numbers of those living on earth. God ordained you to fulfill a peculiar purpose. Hence, your life as a whole is not all about you but about the one who thought about you and brought you into existence.

The best of your days are the days you spend becoming what God wants you to be. You can't afford to live contrary to His divine plan and purpose least you become a wasted investment in the hands of God.

At a point, the man called Gehazi ceased to exist in the chronicles of God's people because he chose to live in a way which seemed best to him. You also cannot live just anyhow, God ordained you to become something for Him. There is a mark you must make in the sand of time. You are not expected to be an adulterer, murderer, idolater etc.

There is no doubt in the fact that there will be at least one reason for you to detest your loved ones, your work and your faith. When you truly love you must know that love is expected to cover multitude of sins. Irrespective of how the life of your loved ones, work and every other thing attached to your life appears to be, the fact still remains that you must be humble enough to love and celebrate them.

Try as much as possible to celebrate your wife/husband or wife/husband to be, celebrate your people because they had your back in your time of trouble and incapacitation. Celebrate your work if it is helping you to affect lives and please God. Celebrate your vision because they will come to reality. Celebrate your faith and the God you serve.

Don't compare your life with the lives of others but live your life to fulfill your God's given mandate and dreams. This is the only way your life can be celebrated by others. No competition in destiny, if you must look at the life of others, you must do so to learn the good things in their lives. You are a celebrity if you can at least celebrate yourself and believe in your dreams.

God in His infinite mercy has presented to us in this life several heros who were exceptional in their own time from generation to generation but has given a model and that model is our Lord Jesus Christ!!!

The history of man in the entire universe under God cannot be complete without making reference to some men who made their own mark in the sand of time. The book of Hebrews 11 gave the chronicles of the likes of Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Samson, Gideon, David and others.

Despite the fact that these great men of faith were exceptional; God didn't present them to us as models.
The birth of Ishmael was a significant shortcoming in the life of Abraham. The death of Uriah was a significant shortcoming in the life of David a man with a heart after God. Hence, we cannot be like them. At a point in the lives of these men; they needed to lay aside every weight, and the sin which ensnared them.

Jesus Christ is the model presented to us by God Himself; to Him alone He is well pleased. Your service only remain valid and significant if it corresponds to that of Christ (sacrifice). You only have life in its fullness if it resembles that of Christ.

If the Lord must stand by your side to bring His words to pass; you must be resolute in your obedience to his words. The promises of God belongs to those who obey and walk in His ways!!!

Many people live as if they do not have God. Some may wonder why the miracles seen in the lives of others does not manifest in their own lives. Nevertheless, What brings God to your aid is nothing but obedience to His word and principles.

Life on this planet earth is characterised by several challenges which is like passing through the waters, walking through the rivers and fire. But the Lord has promised to be with us in those situations. His word is settled ahead of those situations.

The Children of Israel passed through the red sea with no harm as they took step into it at the command of the Lord but the Egyptians perished as they tried to do the same.

Similarly, the three Hebrews chose to obey God and refused to bow to the golden image set up by Nebucadnezer. They were thrown into the fury furnace as a result of their obedience, but the Lord was already waiting for them in the fire and it didn't harm them.

No matter your experience in life; the Lord will bring His words to pass if and only if you will walk in accordance to His word. Try as much as possible not to derail in obeying God in His principles!

There is no marriage without it's peculiar challenges. Marriage fails when men fail to honour God by yielding themselves to the principles He instituted for a godly home. When the marriage of a man fails it affects his entire life, his career, ministry, children, mental stability and emotions.

A wrong marriage can work out to be wonderful if the party involved will humble themselves to follow the principles of God for a godly home. Every man must ensure that he doesn't separate himself from his wife and vice versa for any reason be it logically​ or physically; this is word of the Lord.

Handle your marriage with ultimate care and don't allow anyone to influence you to quit your marriage. The easiest way to destroy the destiny of man is to destroy his marriage. The first testimony you have as far as moral standard is concerned before men of all ages is your marriage.

When your life is free from the error that comes from issues that has to do with money, that is when your life is free to serve God acceptably. The only antagonist to your service towards God is Mammon!!!

The major challenge in the lives of most Christians today is the issue that has to do with money. It is a major issue that will hinder many from making lasting impact in the lives of men and from making eternity with God. About 90% of issues that has to do with unrighteousness in various aspect of life has to do with money.

There is no way you can deliver or fulfill your mandate effectively before men who know you are guilty of every offence that has to do with money. Therefore, try as much as possible to serve God and not money. Don't run the affairs of your life with debt. Be faithful to God to be a good custodian of the resources of men placed at your disposal.

Don't sell your birthright on the account of money which is only a means to an end. Don't sacrifice your peace, joy, love and fulfillment in life and eternity with God on the altar of the love for Mammon.

Every man is influenced by other men in one way or the other. Irrespective of who you are; you at least want to be like someone in certain aspect of life. Our lifestyles generally register our personality in the hearts of men.

In this life, we have people like Esau who neglected the principle of God on the account of money and other worldly pleasure. There are people like Gehazi who due to coveteousness brought evil to their entire household. Also, there are people like Cain who killed their brothers on the account of envy.

We cannot but talk of wonderful men like Stephen, Joseph and our Lord Jesus; who did not overcome evil with evil but rather prayed and made provision for the salvation of their enemies. Daniel and His three friends will always be remembered for the fact that they never traded their God for nothing.

People are also taking note of every minute details of your life. Even when it seems they are silent about it you can't take it away from their hearts. Whether your life is good or not, the fact still remains that someone will consider your life worthy of emulation. You will always be remembered for something; which shall pass onward when you are forgotten. Set an outstanding legacy of a real believer in Christ in this perverse generation.

The Psalmist in the Bible verse examines his life and discovered that he will become old. He also established the fact that at old age his strength will be spent and his power will fail. He now resolved to praying to God for help in his old age. Hence, I want to remind you that you will become old.

Your friends, certificates, ideology, body, wife and everything about you will become old. You will be relieved of your duties to give room for younger generation. I have seen men who traveled far and wide to achieve great feat in life but later retired home only to sit and watch what happens in the neighborhood as well as reading books, bible and newspapers.

The attitude of the old men around you is actually your anticipated attitude; the question they are asking will become your questions. In the manner you see people leaving various scene of life so also you will. It will soon become your experience if you also find grace from God. Now that your strength is with you in various aspect of life make best use of your opportunities. Use your strength to make impact in the sand of time.

Focus: Not Over to Death

The Only gift a man can get from God is life in its fullness. Despite the fact that God allows you to face the consequence of your actions; He will never give you over to death!!!

"The LORD has chastened me severely, but he has not given me over to death." (Psalms 118:18 NIV).

The fact that God allows men to face the consequence of their sins does not change the fact that He is a merciful God. He does not punish a man to ensure his death but to reveal the true deadly nature of sin.

God does not give up on any man, therefore, you must never give up on God no matter how terrible your sins may appear to be. At that very point where you missed it, backslid or derailed from His will at any level of life; He is ever waiting for you to get it right.

It is normal for a man to fall; even if what you are experiencing now is as a result of your sins, the Lord is not willing to give you over to death but rather expecting you to get up and walk in the victory.

Jesus described the attribute of the Father in the parable of the Prodigal Son. The Father received the prodigal son with great feast despite squandering the lot given to him. He neither disowned him nor made him a slave but rather placed him in his rightful position as a son.

The Lord will do the same for you. Forgiveness is readily available for you, no matter how terrible your iniquity may be. Repent from your sins and enjoy the life the Lord offers in its fullness.

Every man created by God needs help. The way we were born shows the true picture of what a man is. We were carried, fed, guided and helped to take the first step in every aspect of life.

Our personality is actually a function of what we get from other men around us. Irrespective of your status and achievement you have in life you will always need someone to have your back. The institution designed by God to complement the inadequacies in the lives of men is marriage.

There will always be a vacuum in the life of a man who is without a soul mate no matter how wonderful such a life appears to be. The Lord testified to it that it is not good. You are created to complement the life of another man. Therefore, when the right woman comes into the life of a man that is when his life is complete.

Nevertheless, marriage is a call to responsibility. If you must get married, you must be prepared to meet up with someone’s inadequacies. You must be ready to live your entire life having strong expression of sacrificial giving.

Every man is expected to live each of his days as if it is the last. The fact that God established us in various aspect of life doesn't change the facts that we have not come to stay on earth.

If there be any word of God that came to pass before your very eyes then what He said concerning His coming and eternity will surely come to pass. Don't live any day of your life without consideration for eternity.

Very soon, on earth we will cease to roam. All burdens will be laid down, this earth shall pass away and all the works of men shall decay, all the saints will go home walking on the street of gold with smiling faces and abide forever with the Lord.

Focus: On The Third Day

The third day of every situation of life will surely come. When it seems as if the Lord is silent and not acting over various issues of your life; He is actually waiting for the third day!!!

There is a time limit to various issues of life confronting us. The Lord is not ignorant of our feelings and experiences as we advance on the pathway of destiny. He has assigned specific time/day to intervene over various issues that has to do with our individual lives.

The third day of various issues affecting our individual lives differ. To some; it could be some seconds, minutes, hours, days, months and years.

You may also be passing through some life's challenges which makes men around to mock and spit on you. To them, it seems as if you are serving a dead God because He chose not to intervene as at when due in the human dictionary. At the third day, the Lord will prove Himself as the almighty. You are not forgotten, don't go away from the His presence; you only need to wait patiently on Him to do His good pleasure with your situation when the third day comes.

Truth will always be the truth. It cannot die, no matter how much men try to kill. It can be covered but only within a time limit.

The truth about a thing is not complete until Christ Jesus is revealed. "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6). A man is free to believe anything and live by whatever he thinks. However, the truth(Jesus ) is just so patient, gentle and lowly in heart to the point that he always wait for the third day for it's revelation.

The truth was beaten, molested and killed but on the third day He resurrected. There is always a third day in every situation of life. We must live our lives having the third day of every affair of our lives in mind. For those who denied the fact that Jesus is Lord and the only begotten son of God will understand on the third day.

There are men who took advantage of some innocent souls who were at their mercy. The third day will come when the victims will realise their wickedness and their evil deeds will come to remembrance.

Some teachers support their students in the business of examination malpractices. When the students come to the realization of the truth they will be remembered for their unrighteous deeds. Don't neglect the truth; accept and live by it. When it seems it doesn't pay don't forget the fact that the third day will come.

Focus: When Evil Men Exhaust their Capabilities

The Lord will not but always prove Himself Big after allowing evil men to exhaust their capabilities. Most times, the Lord may not act on your behalf until you experience disappointments from the arm of the flesh!!!

"But Joseph said to them, Don't be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."(Genesis 50:20 NIV)

Despite the fact that you cannot underestimate what a man can do; the fact still remains that there is a limit to what a man can do or think. When the Lord is set to reveal who He is; He makes men to fail in their capabilities.

The Lord will not but allow men to prove their worth in your life. When this happens; know that God wants to use it as an occasion to show you the real nature of man, the limit of their capabilities and to show you the greatness of His power.

The best the brothers of Joseph could do to Him was to sell him into slavery in a bid to hinder him from fulfilling his dreams. The best the Pharisees and the roman soldiers could do was to crucify the Lord Jesus Christ to prevent Him from being the Lord of all. Similarly, the best king Nebuchadnezzar could do was to throw the three Hebrew into the fiery furnace as a result of their refusal to bow to the golden Image.

Despite all the effort of men in the cases mentioned above; it did not stop what God intended to do in their lives. He allows men to exhaust their capacity before His intervention. Irrespective of the evil you suffered so far from men; there is a limit to what they can do and cannot stop what the Lord wants to do with your life.

Focus: Unforgiveness: A degree of Arrogance and Wickedness

Unforgiveness is an attribute that depicts a show of arrogance and wickedness before God!!!

"But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." (Jamas 4:6 NKJV)

Every man is an offender before God. The fact that God forgave our sins put everyone of us under compulsion to forgive those who offends us. Therefore, we have no justifiable reason before God not to forgive others their shortcomings towards us.

A woman came to a point of knowing that she would die considering the pains she is going through on the sick bed. The sins of her husband came to her remembrance and she said at the point of death that: "I will not forgive my husband". We don't know if the Holy Spirit is ministering to her to forgive to ensure that she also gain access to God's mercy as she embarks on the journey to eternity. But unfortunately she refused to forgive.

If your heart is so hard that it cannot be broken to the point of letting go of people's offence, you need serious deliverance because it will lead you to destruction. There is an everlasting resistance before any man who displays or harbours unforgiveness and that resistance is God Himself. Humble yourself under God to forgive men their sins and be mindful that there is a measure of God in the lives of men created by Him.

Marriage is an important institution created by God for men to enjoy life and fulfill His purpose in the land of the living. However, if marriage must be exactly the way the Lord wants it to be; fulfilling it's intended purpose; it must follow the ordinances of God.

The ordinances of the Lord defines what marriage should be according to the fruit of the Spirit.

Ultimately, marriage is all about love. Nothing works in marriage without love. It is the only virtue that prevents frustration in marriage. Also, it presents a platform to live joyfully and peacefully in life. Having joy and peace is vital to a blissful marital experience.

There is no marriage without its own challenges but patience as a virtue keeps it moving strong and steady. It can never survive nor be what God wants it to be without other attributes like kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control.

The missing link in every troubled marriage is the involvement of God who exhibits Himself in the lives of men through the fruit of the Spirit. Therefore, don't enter into this honourable institution without the Spirit of God else you will become miserable.

There are some things about you that you can never understand. Your life is not about you but God who planned and designed your life and destiny even before you came to the realization of yourself.

When it seems as if you are being denied most of what others have almost effortlessly, do not fret yourself but be mindful of the fact that His plans concerning you is for good. Each time the Lord allows you to wait; He is actually coming in a big way.

Do not evaluate your life and your dealings with respect to the lives of men around you but with respect to His word concerning your life. Do not at any time forget that His plans for you have not entered the heart of men that's why you sometimes look confused when you consider various issues in your life. Love the Lord with all your heart, wait upon Him and live to fulfill His purpose which is your primary purpose in the land of the living!!!

Have you been sick before and the doctor failed to respond on time despite the pain you suffered? Most of the time the health practitioners appear to be careless but in the actual sense they are not. The issue is that when a man becomes sick he is regarded as a patient just because he needs a systematic care to be who he used to be.

There is God's timing in every affair that has to do with man. The coming of the Lord is not limited to the end of age alone but also every area of life where divine intervention is needed.

There are several patients in the prison yard. They lost their freedom on the account of some life's circumstances, crime and fraudulent activities. They neither consider the principles of God nor wait on Him to bless them in the right way.

Some men entered into a wrong relationship/marriage due to the fact that they couldn't patiently wait upon God. Some young people have successfully destroyed the chance of getting a suitable suitor as a result of the consequence of prostitution, pre-marital sex like abortion, STDs etc.

Some people have lost some parts of their body if not their lives on the account of over speeding and couldn't get to the intended destination they were rushing to.

No matter how fast you think you can run; you cannot out run your creator. Patiently wait upon Him even as you follow Him in His principle in various affairs of your life.

It is an understatement for a man to say he does not have an enemy. We all have an ancient enemy called the devil. He is the real enemy of man that appears in different forms and dimension.

He does not respect who you are neither does he consider how much you have laboured or labouring over various issues of your life; he is ever waiting for every living soul at the junction of success to bring about disappointments.

He will never hinder a man from working or labouring as much as he can but will ensure that it amounts to nothing. He is not intimidated by your prayers, preaching, teaching and other spiritual activities if he has a foothold in your life. He is satisfied with your excellent performance in various spiritual activities if they will not lead you to making it to God's eternal presence where the reward of your service lies.

Therefore, each time you see tares among the wheat of your life, know that the enemy has performed his enterprise. Don't live your life in ignorance but live having the orientation that the devil is set to bring about disappointment in all your dreams and aspiration.

We are sometimes confused about several things associated with our future due to the fact that God holds it. The best way to prepare for the future is to know God the only One who guarantees the future.

The man who lost his life in an autocrash while embarking on a business trip would have not engaged in such trip or at best will prepare for eternity if he knew before hand what is about to happen to him. To many of such people it is hidden. That is why the word of God admonishes us to commit our ways to the Lord and that we should trust in Him alone and never to lean on our understanding.

As you proceed in destiny don't forget what God said and walk side by side with Him even as you make best use of this present moment; hoping for the best in days to come. In all you do, don't forget that no one promised you tomorrow; it is God that holds tomorrow!

Despite the fact that there is nothing you can become with God, the fact still remains that when God answer prayers or wants to bless a life, He uses men to work out His good pleasure. The magnitude of your strength in life is a measure of the quality of human resources at your disposal.

Don't ever underestimate the power of human resources. They can serve as a bridge between where you are now and the glorious future before you. Hence, you must be very careful with your relationship with men. You are where you are today not necessarily because of today but the future. Make a good account of yourself wherever you find yourself.

Helping yourself in this context is not trusting in the arm of the flesh for help but accepting to yield yourself to accept the advances God is making towards you through the people He is bringing your way. The fact is that God is ever ready to help, does not change the fact that you must help yourself to help God to help you. He needs your cooperation to do His good pleasure in your life.

Elijah was expected to eat in preparation of the journey ahead of him. By yielding to the instruction given to him, he was able to successfully go on a journey for 40 days and night without becoming weary. The parable of the ten virgins made it clear to us that every man is expected to take responsibility over his life.

If there is a child who has people to send him/her to school or have an opportunity to be in school; such must be ready to help himself to perform excellently. It is your responsibility to become worthy of God's salvation, blessing and promises over your life. The turning point in the life of the prodigal son, was the point he submitted himself to get it right with the father.

Your vision determines what your life will give birth to. Jacob understood this concept and applied it to get several flocks when he parted ways with Laban. His flocks brought forth lambs and kids streaked, speckled, and spotted because rods which he had peeled was placed in front of them (Gen 30:38-39).

The vision of a man determines the nature of his marriage, ministry and academics, career and his attitude in life. When the vision of a man in ministry is to become rich and wealthy he will place less value preparing men for godly use and eternity. Some men detest marriage while others treat their spouse with contempt because of what they have seen while growing.

Some people conclude based on things happening around them that education is a scam. Vision is what actually differentiate and classify men. It is a thing to have eyes it is another thing to see things. God is coming to you like He did Abraham,
"Lift up your eyes and look as far as you can see in all direction; all the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever".

Every law of God is meant to give us the vision to keep within a boundary of His will with a view to secure our destiny. We identify a man without a vision if he is affected by every environmental stimulus thereby being tossed to and fro, and carried about by every wind of doctrine.

Your Marriage, career, belief, ministry etc. gives you an opportunity to recognise your boundary. Going out of your boundary is a sure way to destruction. You cannot be everywhere and you can't be everything. We are created to fulfill specific purpose. Therefore, you are expected to keep within a narrow domain so as to maximise your ability to achieve greater result. There is no shortcut to happiness than for you to seek to know the will of God for your life and respond to it in detail.

In Exodus 1, it was recorded that the Isrealites were oppressed by the Egyptians. At a point, it is possible that they must have given up on God as far as His promises is concern over them. But God on His part, did not forget the promises He made to Abraham. At the fullness of time, He sent Moses to deliver them.

No matter how terrible your life and experience is in the land of the living, you must be mindful of the fact that God's love and faithfulness towards you is great. He is still committed to bring to pass His promises over your life. Even if you finds it very difficult to do His will as required of you; the fact still remains that He is still committed to bring you into the centre of His will and plans for you life. In the manner prodigal son was received when he returned to the father, so also, you will be received in every bid to get it right with God.

The marvellousness of whatever we do or achieve in life depends on if the Lord will take responsibility and you can boldly say: "The Lord has done this". Even if it appears to people that you achieved so much, you will not be fulfilled and whatever you have will not be marvellous in your sight if God is not the source of what you have.

Do not engage in fraud, crime, examination malpractices in a bid to get something in life. How you got what you have is critical to your satisfaction, contentment and fulfillment. Desire blessing that comes from God. Walk in truth, righteousness and holiness if you so desire peace and rest in your pilgrimage. Wait upon the Lord, acknowledge Him in all your ways and allow Him to work out His good pleasure in your life.

Sometimes I observe the lives of some people and discover that despite their quest for money and material possessions they couldn't achieve more than what they achieved and in a long run, left everything for people who didn't contribute much to their struggles. Some of these people find it very difficult to find the required satisfaction from their achievements.

With all they have, they still yearn for more even as they live in the guilt of living unrighteous lives. The life of the rich fool was cut short after all he gathered. Everything he worked for became another's. You are an eternal being, you have not come to stay here on earth. Trust God for your needs and live to please Him and have it at the back of your mind that it is only what you are able to pass on to eternity is what is truly your own.

Life is given to prepare for eternity. Great men with great certificates, titles, power, material possessions, have come and gone. Settle not for euphemism live with eternity consciousness having God in view.

In this life, many always have room for sin and pleasure that stain and debase but have no room for Christ in their hearts. God, the giver of grace does not take active part in the affairs of their lives.

Several people have room for envy, greed and dreams for position and power, but none for Christ even for few minutes on daily basis. Nevertheless, we must be mindful of the fact that; all the things we seem to love will all pass away. We will be taking a great risk if we choose not to create enough room for God's involvement in the affairs of our lives.

Someday, no matter how busy we may appear to be, we will all surely have time to pass on to eternity. Then, we will have time to see the Lord who created us to fulfill His purpose on earth. It will be too late for those who refuse to live for God to find that there is no room for them in God's eternal abode.

There are some promises of God that are fundamental to your existence. You must discover it, believe it, look up to God for it and walk in the direction of its fulfillment!!!

The fact that God created us to fulfill purpose; makes it paramount for Him to send us forth with a blessing and a promise. David having discovered the intention of God over him and his household believed it and prayed to Him to do exactly what He has said.

You must try as much as possible to ask God in prayers the promise He made to you. It is not the case that God will forget or fail to do what He has said but He is interested in our commitment to believing what He has said and our readiness to possess our possessions.

No matter how impossible His promises may appear to be with respect to the current situation of your life, all you have to do is to tell Him to do what He has said!
