The life of a man is like a book with several chapters. Various unique situation of your life in the actual sense is a message to you, people who know you and those who will hear about you.

Jesus was sacrificed on the cross to pass a message to us as God's children that we are called to a life of sacrifice. The case of Abraham is a pointer to us that there is great blessing in living in obedience and that God cannot be limited by age, space and time to fulfill His promises.

The life of Joseph reveals the fact there is an opposition to every good dream and they will not be fulfilled on the platter of gold; the only way to sustain and bring dreams to pass is absolute obedience to God's principle. The wilderness experience of the Israelites made it clear to us that man must not live by bread alone.

Your experience is a script meant to help you to know God beyond the written pages of the scripture and an evidence to people that God is real and His words are true.

Life is beautiful when true love becomes the order of the day or the lifestyle of men. A man who cannot overlook the short comings in the lives of men cannot love according to the will of God.

The Lord who is the creator of all men is not ignorant of the weakness in the lives of His creation. Therefore, He commanded all men to love one another just to make up with the inadequacies in every individual's life. The fact that we are created for relationship shows that we need to be loved by others to complement our lives.

Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." (1 Cor 13:5). When true love becomes the order of the day, it appears as if it is blind; its flame burns every shortcomings due to its characteristics. However, when taken for granted, the flame dies a natural death and brings every shortcomings to lime light.

It is not enough to have a wonderful relationship; you must do everything possible to fan the flame of love to keep it lively. Don't be complacent with various inadequacies in your life but make effort through the help of God to get better in various aspect of life to make your life more attractive to people.

God is love; He gave His only son for the remission of our sins. He is still a consuming fire. If you don't want to perish; don't take His love for granted (Jn 3:16).

A man can hide from men but not from God. The fact that God knows the deepest secrets of men makes His verdict and submission over men authentic. When God calls a man a fool that is what he truly is. Irrespective of what people call you, be it great, genius, expert, wise and the likes, the fact remains that your real identity is with God.

From the parable of the rich fool, if we were to assess the man according to his status among his colleagues and competitors, we would have called him a genius; an economic genius for that matter but God called him a fool.

What makes him a fool is not the fact that he was wealthy but because he does not have a rich relationship with God. He didn't acknowledge God in his pursuits. You will not place the right value on yourself until you see yourself the way God sees you.

Hi,

I have highlighted the text above to introduce what I think about your admonition. Matthew 7:3-5 was not the beginning of the discourse. We would have to go back a chapter to see that Christ’s warned his disciples to desist from the practice of the Pharisees, the hypocrite and the Gentiles. Verse 5 from your first reference text shows that Jesus was referring to the hypocrite not his disciples. The hypocrite was not to judge because he is not qualified. Luke 6 shows that Jesus was referring to the blind leader, the evil man.

Apostle Paul writes to us that the spiritual man judges all things (not like the carnal man who has only his perception to guide his judgement). In the judgement of the spiritual man, Christ is his guide. We can see how the Church in Ephesus found out the lies of the Nicolaitans in their midst.

The verses you quoted in the way you did, makes many Christians docile. The Church in Ephesus May have lost its first love, but they had not forgotten to judge all things - We are to judge all things in righteousness.

Let the scriptures in its fullness guide your admonition so that you would strengthen the weak hands.

Everything you see men doing is a prototype of what you can also do; rather than criticizing people, examine yourself to see if you are doing the same thing in a different dimension. Explore your strength in removing every speck in your eyes.

Let the speck in the eyes of men remind you always of the need to repent from the short comings in your life. The best you can do in this end time; is to stand like Joseph, David and Daniel of our time.

Don't be eaten up by what others are doing. The dimension of your judgement towards others will also set a bench mark to your own life for judgement. Don't be too quick to criticize men based on their appearance either in words or in deeds. At best, discuss with them and pray for them even as you commit your life to God in that respect!

You will only be blessed and fulfilled on the land on which you stand if you are willing to walk and work in obedience to God's principles. Every blessing of the Lord is embedded in obedience to His words. The ability to promptly obey God in His principles in various aspect of life is what you need to be successful.

Abraham did not become the father of many nations until he responded to God's calling for his life. There is no shortcut to becoming what God wants you to be other than obey Him. If you desire what only God can give and do, you must obey Him.

It takes willingness to start exploration of what God has in stock for you at a point in time in a place. It also takes a response to God's instruction to enter into the reality of God's provision in a land. Don't short-change yourself; to be happy in Jesus requires prompt obedience.

God gave Abraham an instruction to count the stars at a point in the journey of his destiny. Counting the stars looked impossible and unbelievable based on the peculiarity of the situation of Abraham. Nevertheless, the Lord brought His word to pass. Today the sons of Abraham are uncountable.

Each time the Lord in His mercy reveals His intentions in any situation be it for your life or the lives of men attached to you or a corporate gathering of His people believe His word for they shall surely come to pass. Even when it appears impossible you need not to worry about it, the Lord knows how to work out His good pleasure.

The strength of God is always at its best in every situation that looks impossible. Allow God to take glory over the situation of your life. Always count the stars by faith and His word will come to pass.

Selfish interest is one of the major factor affecting our world today. Whatever you are and have will die with you if you don't pass it on to others.

In destiny, the Lord will not but bring people your way; those who will invest in your life and those you will invest upon. Do your best to make best use of your days of opportunities by replicating the investment of God over your life through the lives of men on other people. Live your life adding values to the lives of men.

This is the will of God for us. The degree of your investment in the lives of men determine your fortune in life. Apostle Paul invested in the lives of so many people who later became a great help for ministry.

This is what ministry and fulfilling your mandate is all about. It entails caring, encouraging, impacting, empowering and meeting needs. Be mindful of the fact that what lives on after you must have left this sinful world is your investment in the lives of men. Hence, the real essence of life is to think about what to do to be a blessing to the lives of others.

Sometimes, as humans we engage in frantic race in a bid to achieve something for ourselves. The fact that our eyes are set to achieving a goal beclouds our sight over what God has helped us to achieve. We tend to be dissatisfied with our present state due to the setbacks we experienced in our pursuit. This tends to make us ungrateful to God for what He has done.

Each time you find yourself in a state that looks as if God has not done anything for you be mindful of the fact that the devil is near to steal your blessing. The truth about life is that what others don't have is what you have and vice versa. God has done much more than enough for you; He deserves to be praised at all times.

That you are alive today, is enough reason to appreciate God. There is nothing to worry about in life because your life is a work in progress in the hands of God. Your primary assignment is to worship God for who He is and what He has done in your life.

At least, there are some men that were part of the success story of your life. If you can boldly say that: if not for this and that I wouldn't have made it then it is an indication that God also created you to make indelible positive impact in the lives of men.

In our text, Martha affirmed the fact that Lazarus died because Jesus was not around. There will always be vacuum in the lives of the men which we are expected to fill in every facet of life. When we fail to fill those vacuums we have succeeded in making ourselves irrelevant in every domain of our placement. Be a saviour today. Let your remembrance be a sweet one in the hearts of men.

Despite the fact that life provide waters in different dimension to quench the unending thirst of men the fact still remains that fountains that comes from different quarters of the earth mock our souls; the more we drink the fainter we grow and the more our keener thirst endure.

God has made an offer of salvation and His word which is the bread of life. The stream from Calvary still flows to bless, cleanse and heal. And whoever, will make himself available and submit to God's will in life have a new life, rest and satisfaction in God. In all you seek in life find God and you will have contentment and satisfaction.

In every gathering of people there will always be people who will present themselves to be used of the devil to accomplish his enterprise. Don't be a Judas, be used by God to uphold righteousness in every domain of your placement!!!

Jesus Christ had 12 disciples but one of them i.e. Judas turned out to be an instrument in the hands of the devil. The teachings of Jesus and the relationship with Him did not stop Judas from being used by the devil. The implication of this is that: out of every 12 people in every domain of life there is a likelihood of having one Judas.

One may be wondering why a man who lived with Jesus and heard the secret of the kingdom will turn out to be a black sheep among the disciples. There are several men who claim to be Christians; having biblical names, spiritual titles and position in the church but at the forefront of corrupt practices and shameful act; draging the name of the Lord in the mud.

It is not as if these people don't know what the will of God is but they presented themselves to be Judas. Don't be a Judas. At your own end in the domain of your placement; you represent your church, home or family, institution and your God. Don't allow your lifestyle to hinder people from knowing God and walking in his ways.

The Lord in His attributes has never gone back on His word. Once the Lord has spoken over an issue be rest assured that they will come to pass. This will not be as a result of what you can do or the resources at your disposal but because the Lord will reveal His glory through the situation of your life.

Irrespective of your experience be mindful of what the Lord has said and let His word be your confidence. The Lord spoke about Isaac to Abraham even though it was unbelievable it became visible to all creation.

The promises of God in your life is not in vain. It is given and declared to reveal His glory. Consider not your previous experience because what the Lord is set to do in your life will be visible to all eyes.

God, right from the creation of the world gave men the power to choose whatever they like; even in the midst of His own will for mankind. He has never forced his requirement on anyone but rather admonishes us by making us to know the blessedness as well as the consequence of all our actions.

Therefore, you will always have the opportunity to sin, render assistance, show love, pay your tithe, respond adequately to the words of God which demands prompt obedience.

You will definitely make choice over several issues of your life. Your success over every test is a function of how much you put God first, His acknowledgement in your heart and how soft you are in bending to His will.

Always strive to ensure that you subject your own will to God's will at all times. Your character towards every test determines your future placement in God and what He will commit into your hands.

Every living thing created by God is not without a companion. The Lord blessed the human race to multiply and dominate after giving the man a companion. The human life is not designed to live and achieve anything in isolation. You need at least the involvement of a man to experience increase in every facet of life.

You must understand the concept of agreement and come in collaboration with people that matter in every domain to experience multiplication. No man can build anything alone. You must be mindful of the fact that you must be in a team or a team player to be who God wants you to be.

The strength of a leader is his/her follower. If a marriage will work to fulfill God's purpose in all aspect of life, the husband and the wife must be knited together. Agreement is very essential to have increase. Don't underestimate the contribution of men in every quest to fulfill your dreams. However, your collaboration with men must not put you out of God's favour. Cooperate with God even as you submit yourself to work with men designed by God to help you in destiny.

The beauty of your life is the message your life portrays and your victory in every life's issues.

Do not assume any leadership position if your heart has not matured enough to be the heart of a king. No man will please God in the capacity of a leader until he has the heart of a king!!!

The preacher stated that "Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child, And your princes feast in the morning" (Eccl.10:16). Any nation, domain, home, church or institution will find itself in a sorry state if it's leader does not have the heart of a King.

God in His attributes right from the ages past always sought for men who have the heart of a king to rule His people. God gave a description of man who should be a king over his people (Deut.17:16-19) : A man
1. Who will not multiply horses for himself.
2. Who will not lead people back to slavery in Egypt.
3. Who will not multiply wives for himself.
4. Who will not multiply silver and gold for himself.
5. Who will reverence the word of God and walk in obedience.
Summarily, a man who has overcome selfishness.

God chose David above Eliab because he had the heart of a king. He saved his father's sheep in the face of Lions and Wolf when other shepherds would have run away. He confronted Goliath even when the King on the throne was afraid to do so. He did not usher himself to the throne by laying his hand on God's anointed but waited for his time.

When your orientation in the assumption of a leadership position is what you will eat, get and the fame associated with it, you don't have the heart of a king and you cannot please God. This is because you will compromise every godly and moral standard to have what your heart desires.

The perception of God differs from that of men due to the fact that He places much priority on the nature of the heart of men than their appearance while the reverse is the case with men. Your face determines what men think about you while your heart determines what God thinks about you.

In the absense of pretence your heart defines your actions. Try as much as possible to be transparent, don't tell people that "God sees your heart". Let them see your heart in your face through righteousness. When the actions of men does not correlate with what is in their hearts several issues in their lives will be characterized with question mark depicting uncertainties.

Don't be like King Saul who only value his face but not his heart. He desired the praise of men while walking in disobedience to God's principles. Eliab and Absalom had the face or appearance of a king but not the heart of a king. Keep your heart with all diligence and live a life patterned after Christ.

Not all men can offer the type of Sacrifice Abel offered unto God. Not all men can be obedient to God the Father like Christ did, not all men can have the faith of Abraham, not all men can persevere and remain faithful to God like Job. These are the major reason a man's life should not be compared with others. We are created uniquely to fulfill unique purpose and the level of our walk with God differs.

Irrespective of how you have lived so far in life the Lord is not willing to condemn you if you will make yourself available to do His will . He is not interested in your past but your future.

It is not the sin that you have sinned against God that really matters but what your reaction will be when similar occasion that led you into such sin arises in the future. Whatever your history might have been don't be eaten up by it; don't give up on living rightly according to the will of God. A decision to respond to God will always go a long way to reduce the enterprise of the evil one in any domain.

Despite the fact that God and men may forgive sins; history does not. However, history can be re-written just like the case of Paul initially known as Saul. The Lord is always ready to accept a man who turns to Him to live a new life. ________________________________

We must be mindful of the fact that marriage is a faith venture; it must take off at the command of the Lord and according to His word. It is a wonderful thing to find the will of God in marriage.

You are required to stand by your spouse in every life's circumstance. You must enjoy life with him or her as your own lot in the land of the living. Be ever mindful of the fact that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Sow the seed of what you desire in the life of your spouse and you will reap what you sow in multiple fold.

If we can examine our lives critically we will discover that most of the troubles we face in life begins at a point where we fail to honour God with our decisions.

No matter the situation of your life, be rest assured that it will end in joy if you are walking in obedience to God's principle. Joseph was thrown into the prison, Daniel was thrown into the Lion's den and the 3 Hebrews were thrown into the fiery furnace due to the fact that they walked in obedience to God's word. The cases of all these men turned to a testimony that brought joy. The name of the Lord was gloried in their lives.

Don't allow the pressure of getting something in life make you put God aside. Men who bowed to such pressure got what they wanted but without the joy of the Lord. There is no man who walked in disobedience to God's word that did not end their life sorrowfully. There is no limit to what God can do in your life if you acknowledge Him and put Him first in everything you do. There is joy, peace and contentment in obeying the Lord!

The greatest evil that happened to the entire human race is religion. This is because religion puts garment on people rather than a lifestyle after God's likeness.

What do you see each time you see a pope, priest, bishop, imam, pastor and the likes? Predominantly, you will always see garment. The human race is very weak when most of these garments are sighted mostly because men love to honour God.

Men open the door of their homes, release their money, give out various precious material possessions and sometimes put their lives in line just to honour God.

Therefore, many men try to put on these garments to make livelihood, exploit men and make themselves a semi-god over the men under their tutelage. Don't be deceived by those garments; a life contrary to that of Christ is not of God.

Try as much as possible to appear the way you are. The garment you put on can never change your personality before the Almighty God. You cannot overcome the evil one with fake lifestyle.

Whatever takes your joy; be it a job, career, business or any form of engagement will give you sorrow. Every labour that deny you the best things prepared by God for you to enjoy life is known as the bread of sorrow.

Many people engage in some labour that appear juicy but at the tail end presents to them the bread of sorrow. Many people have lost their peace, good health, friends, wife, families, relationships, consecrations and their God's given mandate and purpose on the accounts of what they do for a living.

A lady was pursuing to get to the top of her career but ignored several suitors who wanted her hand in marriage. At age 45 she became very desperate and saw a need to marry. At that point the money and her professional attainment became useless and she needed a home.

When you don't acknowledge God in your pursuit and walk in obedience; your life will end with the bread of sorrow. Money is not everything. It is God who determines who truly enjoys life. Several men made millions, some even billions but lost their peace, loved ones with no hope of eternity with God.

It is for men to labour but it is for God to give sleep, rest, peace of mind and fulfilment. The bible verse makes it clear that a man can labour hard and end up eating the bread of sorrow because his labour would bring him more sorrow than sleep. One day of God's favour is enough to put an end to ten years of intense fruitless labour.

Do not underestimate what God can do in your life; you must continue to acknowledge Him in whatever you do. Whatever God will not support you or help you to do will remain fruitless and a waste of time (Ps 127:1). As you proceed in destiny you must ensure that your life is operating under the influence of God's grace.

The outcome of the life of a man who absolutely depends on his labour will be limited to what men can do but a life operating under the grace of God will be open to what God can do. It is an established fact that labour oriented people don't usually find sleep and yet never enjoy life irrespective of what they have. Walk in obedience to God's word and enjoy the peace of God in whatever you do having hope that all will be well.

Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today. Sometimes God closes some doors because it is time to move forward. He knows you won’t move unless your circumstances force you. When a hungry man eats to satisfaction he is likely to forget his hunger. However, even though he forgets his hunger he must never forget what it means to be hungry. If you can look back, you will discover that the Lord has done so well for you. It will be very bad if you have forgotten your time of incapacitation; in lack, sickness, disappointments, failure and terrible situation of life.

There are people who are still in that condition the mercy of God lifted you from, not because they are sinners or terrible offenders before God but because they have not obtained the mercy and favour to be chosen for greatness. Hence, you must never forget who you use to be because the ultimate secret behind your good fortune is God.

The reason why you were favoured among others who are entitled to the favour you received but never got it; is for you to proclaim the praises of God who brought you from nothingness to prominence. It is for you to be a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's peculiar people meant to be a blessing to the world.
Be humble always, worship God with your existence and never forget that you are dust and to dust you will return.

Beware of what you give at every point in time because they determine your lot and fortune in life. Life is designed to give you in multiple whatever you sow in different dimensions of life.

A man who is not happy with the progress of others will not find happiness as far as progress is concerned in his life. A man who sows a seed of hatred, discord, disagreement with the aim of rising further in life will by the same reap hatred, discord, disagreement in multiple fold.

Whatever you sow you will reap, you cannot mock God. Do not be weary in doing good because with the measure with which you measure towards others will be measured back to you in multiple fold. One of those things you must learn and be mindful of, is that you should always allow God to fight your battles. Several people consider this as weakness but in the actual sense, it is the best and the most effective way to confront various battle of life.

Don't be eaten up by the fact that you oppress men and perpetrate evil yet nothing happened to you. The ease you are enjoying is simply because God Himself has taken the responsibility of the vengeance for those who appear weak and defenseless. If you are an oppressor or you specialize in doing evil the word of the Lord makes it clear that your foot shall slip in due time; for the day of your calamity is at hand.

This year is the year of God's vengeance; you still have the opportunity to repent your ways before the wrath of the Lord befalls you. Be mindful of the advice of Eli to his sons: "Who will intercede for you when the wrath of the Lord come?" (1Sam.2.25). If there be any oppressor oppressing your life; leave such to God. When God delivers a man from an oppressor; that is when his deliverance will be total and complete.
