It is a high degree of deception for a man to think that he will not face the consequence of his actions in every facet of life!!!

This life is characterized by several people who think they are smart in the manner they manoeuver their ways to achieve their selfish desires. These set of people are actually caught in the web of devil's deception in that they appear to get away with their evil act.

A man trying to hold his neighbour from making progress is equally caught in the trap of not leaving a spot. A man who sows evil will at the time of harvest reap evil in multiple fold. The fact that God is silent and patient over His judgement doesn't signify the fact that he will not punish offenders or overlook the sins of men.

Don't be eaten up by the fact that your evil ways is not accompanied by the corresponding punishment. Don't take the allowance made available for you for repentance for granted; because no sinner will go unpunished. Whatever you sow you will reap.

There are people we see out there that appear to be at the top of the world but also have numerous needs. We must be thankful of God's goodness in our lives even as we hope for the best in every facet of life.

When people around you are making it, be happy and believe that God will remember you. You have a serious problem each time you hear of other people's achievement and progress and you become very sad or you hear about the misfortune of others and you are happy.

Always thank God for the many blessings you are enjoying or you've enjoyed so far. Believe that God knows what is best for you. Be mindful of the fact that discontentment accomplishes nothing but rather limits your usefulness. Remember that life is a temporary assignment and that nothing you have is truly your own.

Your life is a product of love through an investment by several people. If you were to pay for all the kindness and love shown to you by people in various domain of life; can you afford to pay back? Life is not designed that we should directly pay for the love we've received from people but will always give us the opportunity to replicate the love to people who are in need.

As you proceed in destiny; do not forget the love and the investment of men towards your life. You were helped so as to be a helper to many. In the manner people came to your aid in the time of your incapacitation so you must also rise to help people when they need your help. We must all live our lives having the orientation that life is all about making impact and blessing lives.

Various mountains in life are the basis of the joy we have over our successes in the land of the living. They represent tools in the hands of the Lord to beautify our world. We will not come to the knowledge of how wonderful various privileges we have in life are if not for the mountains we encounter in the course of trying to achieve something for ourselves.

No matter how difficult life appears to be to you in various aspects, the fact still remains that it is in the plan of God that things will get better for you because the Lord will show you mercy and the grace to succeed will be made available for you. If you remain in the Lord and place much priority in doing His will; with time every mountain standing before you will depart and you will have testimonies.

Sometimes doing the right thing according to God's word can cause a man a lot of pain. However, the will of God is not meant to make you suffer but to shape your life into fulfilling your divine mandate in life!!!

It is the will of God for Christ to suffer and die on the cross to liberate human race from the grip of sin. It was not easy for Him but He sacrificially bore the pains to be the Lord of all. Therefore, every man is expected to live not for himself any longer but for the will of God.

Most times flesh tends to give us an orientation of the fact that everything that has to do with the will of God is associated with sufferings; this is not true. The will of God at every point in time presents to you the mind of God to bring in subjection our sinful desires.

The pains we have from submitting our will is actually the price for the fulfillment of our mandate. The likes Joseph, Daniel and David endured various challenging situations in a bid to be who God wanted them to be. Your own case will not be an exception; if you must be what God wants you to be you must submit yourself to every divine process meant to shape your life into the original plan of God for your life.

It is not enough that you are very conscious of the word of God in terms of His promises over your life pertaining to your physical life and eternity; the most important thing is for you is to be worthy before Him each time He comes for you.

The ultimate plan of the devil is to ensure that you are defiled before the time of divine intervention and compensation comes. He succeeded in the life of Gehazi and his time of God's visitation was not known. He tried to succeed in the life Joseph but he failed because he purified himself. Daniel and the 3 Hebrews achieved similar feat because they purified themselves.

As a child of God you will be doing yourself a great harm if you are not living in purity because God doesn't dwell in unrighteousness and has nothing to do with people living in disobedience.

To purify yourself means to submit yourself to God to do His will in all situation of life. Allowing God to work in you to do His good pleasure.

The life we have today is primarily to fulfill the purpose of God on earth. We are not created for ourselves, that is why it is not within our own power to choose our Parents, sex, origin, colour, height and age. However, God gave us the power of will to decide what we do with our lives.

Despite the investment of God over several lives, they decided not to create space for the giver of grace and life. They always have room in their sin loving heart for pleasures that stain and debase, envy, greed and dreams of position and power. But a day is coming when they will find time and space to go into eternity and find there's no space for them in God's eternal presence.

The things we love are all passing away. As our years go by; the Lord is interested in our academics, marriage, ministry, career, job and relationships; He wants us to give Him space so as to work through them in our lives to do His good pleasure.

In this life you will not but be faced with various challenging issues which appears to be above your age and experience. Do not consider it strange when it seems as if you cannot move on in life at your desired pace. Life is characterized by several uncertainties and hurdles, you must get set and brace up for they will be many as long as you are a living soul.

When it seems as if a mountain is standing before you; God is given you a special responsibility of moving it. In our text, Goliath continued to show himself endlessly until He was confronted by David. The Israelites were under severe pressure for good 40 days until the manifestation of David.

You have to do something under God about everything that is depriving you of your joy, peace, blessings, fulfillment in every facet of life. Solution to your problems will only show forth if you through the help of God confront them.

When things are good or bad in the life of a man; they are put in place to to show the strength and the Glory of God. The good things happening to you represent the evidence of His mighty works and the efficacy of His might while various challenging aspect of your life are reserved as a miracle in waiting.

Consider how far the Lord has brought you in life and ascribe to Him the honour and Glory He deserves. Everything that appears normal in your life is not actually normal. It takes the grace of God and His help to come to this point in the journey of destiny. Just look around you; what you will see is nothing but His Love.

The original plan of God for Abraham was to give birth to Isaac but along the line he took a break in waiting on God and got Ishmael. Initially the whole thing appeared as if he got something he had been yearning for but in the actual sense what he got was a problem in waiting for the promised son.

Each time a man takes a break in waiting on God what he will get is regarded as Ishmael. Whatever blessings you got through unrighteousness is not to be celebrated but to be renounced to provide an allowance for God to take glory over your life.

God is not a man who lies, everything he said about you will surely come to pass; do not settle for close alternatives. The entire human race in the whole world till this very moment is not free from the grip of the descendants of Ishmael. Wait for your Isaac no matter how long it takes to come.

The day a man makes decision to follow God or be in the company of God's people, he carries an important identity that can either glorify God or drag His name in the mud. You must be mindful of how you live your life as God's children.

A man saw the behaviour of a man who claimed to be a Christian and concluded that he doesn't know that's how Christians behave. Also, a man who claims to be a man of God engaged himself in issues that has to do with money and tarnished his image; when an unbeliever will make comment over it he said: they are all the same; in the service of God just to look for money with no definite consecration to God.

You can't afford to be a disgrace to the name of God nor be a stumbling block to people who want to come to God. The life you live matters to the work of salvation in this age. Hence, in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity be an example of a believer to the glory of God.

Goliath in his mind thought that there was no man that could challenge him. He was so eaten up by his previous success and.......
experience. However, he fell and was disgraced despite all his credentials. In like manner, there are men who think they are untouchable and can do and undo. They talk anyhow, treat men with ultimate content and fail to honour the fact that there is a measure of God in the life of every man created by God.

When pride comes and you are tempted to exercise your strength over people you think are weaker than you are, remember Goliath. No king is greater than his followers; being a king speaks more of a privilege than qualifications. This you must always know, if you don't want to end up in disgrace and shame.

Honour God and be humble in your relationship with men. This is the way to elevation under God in every aspect of life.

In the passage above, Moses was able to bring water for the people of God but the manner he got the result is in absolute disobedience to God's word; this singular act costed him access to the promised land. The world we are in today is result oriented.

To be relevant in every domain of your placement be it in academics, ministry, marriage and business you must produce results. Hence, all men go on in life having the intense desire of getting results. However, many people don't mind doing anything, even if it means sinning against God to get the desired results.

The Lord is very much interested in your obedience to Him than the results you achieve in every aspect of life. Walk in the path of righteousness in every bid to succeed in your endeavours.

Focus: Pharaoh Died a Miserable Death

The life of Pharaoh is a model to every living soul who takes pleasure in doing evil. A man who engages and does evil shouldn't be eaten up by the fact that the evil works of his hand has not caught up with him; like Pharaoh he will have a miserable end.

Pharaoh in his time was a lord who could do and undo but he used his strength to oppress the people of God. At the end of the day the Almighty God proved himself as the Almighty and the Lord over all lords. Pharaoh in his widest thinking could never imagine that that would be how he will end; the same manner many oppressors think things will continue to be.

All men who submit themselves to oppress and hinder the progress of other people using either spiritual means or physical authority are challenging God who is their creator. They will all perish and be subjected to a shameful end. If you are in any way living like a Pharaoh in any aspect of life repent and amend your ways because if you fail to; your end will be like that of Pharaoh.

In this life, nothing goes for nothing. A man who pointed his finger towards others is indirectly pointing four other fingers to himself. Beware of what you give at every point in time because they determine your lot and fortune in life. Life is designed to give you in multiple whatever you sow in different dimensions of life.

A man who is not happy with the progress of others will not find happiness as far as progress is concerned in his life. A man who sows a seed of hatred, discord, disagreement with the aim of rising further in life will by the same reap hatred, discord, disagreement in multiple fold.

Whatever you sow you will reap, you cannot mock God. Do not be weary in doing good because with the measure with which you measure towards others will be measured back to you in multiple fold. At all times, allow the Spirit of God to find expression in your life to know what to give, when to give, how to give, who to give in every facet of life.

One of those things the Lord does for those who became and will become a useful instrument in His hands is that He takes them through a process of character development. Irrespective of what God wants to achieve with your life, if you lack character it will amount to nothing.

There are several men out there who detest every act that has to do with normal and due process. They hate righteousness and boycott every process meant to prepare them for the fulfillment of their mandate. Such will not but fail in destiny; it is a matter of time. It takes a good character to sustain a home, business, academics, career, job, ministry and any position of leadership.

Your character is a factor that determines how far you will go and the perspective of your journey in destiny. Nothing good will work well in the hands of a man who lacks the required character to do well. Submit yourself to every divine process meant to shape your life into fulfilling your divine purpose in life.

There are several men in the name of being holy who chose to be very strict thereby depriving men the service expected of them to render in the name of God. Many failed to be a blessing to people because they claim to be living a consecrated life. How can you claim to be holy and find it difficult to help your fellow brethren.

What type of holiness does a man claim to have that makes his existence not beneficial to his parents, household, friends, employers, brethren, employee and coworkers. If the people that are so called unbelievers are approachable for help what do we call a man who claims to be a child of God who is difficult and unapproachable?

Jesus is simple. He is not a sinner but a friend of sinners. If the spirit that is in Christ is in you; definitely you will be simple, loving, caring, humble and you will love mercy. To be holy means to do the will of God in being a blessing to your world.

Life gives every man a fair chance to grow and improve in every facet of life. Therefore, live your entire life having the orientation that your weakness can turn to strength because we have a God who specializes in giving power to the weak.

There are times when some issues can be handled without any hurdles. When situation has not gotten out of hand; it makes an allowance for solution. Now that you still have control over various shortcomings of your life, be humble enough to seek the help of God to deal with it.

If there is a sin eating you up and depriving you the liberty you have in God, it is time to confess and forsake them. UnCloth yourself and seek help in the appropriate quarters before they disgrace you. Don't be too big to acknowledge your weaknesses before God and men who can help you.

In this life we may be faced with different issues of life which brings about different questions in our hearts. With the prior knowledge of what God can do and what He is doing in the lives of other men may prompt us to ask if the Lord really cares about us.

Can we say the Lord really cares? when your heart is pained too deeply for mirth or song and the way grows weary and long; When your way is dark with a nameless dread and fear, as the daylight fades into deep night shades and it seems as if God doesn't care enough to be near.

Can we say the Lord really cares? When you have tried and failed in various aspect of life; to resist some temptation strong; when for our deep grief there is no relief,
though our tears flow all the night long? Sometimes, men have to say “goodbye” to the dearest on earth; sickness and diseases often kill our hope to live on to fulfill destiny.

In all these, you must be mindful of the fact that you are passing through the test of faith and the fact that He cares. In every circumstance, His heart is touched with your grief. The right orientation needed for successful living as you go in destiny is to believe without wavering that the Lord cares for you.

After all is said and done, all men will respond to the call to eternity. As you live your life on daily basis you are preparing for yourself a home in eternity. Despite the fact that people are leaving this terrain not all are making it back to God in eternity. Paul on his part had an assurance of getting back to God in eternity and receiving the reward of his works.

Let's try all we can under God to make eternity with Him. Submit yourself to do the will of God. When we get home we shall wear a golden crown, our burdens will be laid down, we will be claded in robes of glory and shall sing the story of the Lord who bought us.

When we get home all sorrow will be over, all the darkness will be past and we shall see the light at last; light from heaven streaming over our pathway beaming ever to guide us onward. We shall see our Saviour's face and sing again of His saving grace. We shall stand before him and gladly adore Him to be with Him forever.

Irrespective of the plan and purpose of God for your life, the fact still remains that the choices you make is the ultimate factor that defines and determines what your life will be. The plan of God will be thwarted in the life of any man who fails to be a master of his own destiny subjected to God's will for him.

The lives of several men were manipulated by several traps called opportunity. They allowed situation and various life circumstances to set the pace of their lives. A man who lacks self-control will definitely lose control over his own destiny. Daniel had a purpose of heart and rejected what many people will call opportunity to keep intact the plan of God for His life. Also, Joseph chose to obey God in the face of numerous promises that sin offers him to keep his dreams alive.

In every circumstance that presents no option to you, you have a choice to make. Be in charge of your destiny and don't be ruled by sin, flesh and worldliness by allowing God to work in you to do His good pleasure. Always consider and give room to that which is the will of God for your life.

There are men who gathered alot of material possessions around themselves yet they don't enjoy life because they don't have peace, joy, satisfaction and fulfillment. There are equally men who don't have much, they have no wealth in terms of money and material possessions but enjoying life because the Lord at every point in time meets their needs by His mercy.

The mercy of God made available for you on daily basis is what is keeping you going in the journey of destiny. When David was keeping his father's sheep, beer and lion came at different times but David killed them in each cases. This mercy drops over his life gave him the required confidence to confront and defeat Goliath. This victory brought him to lime light of the fulfillment of his mandate (1Sam 17).

The cumulative mercies of God is what makes you who you are and the bedrock of what you will be. The testimonies of the mercy drops in various aspect of life is the required confidence to approach your future.
Appreciate God for who He has been to you and what He is set to do in your life.

The Lord does not forget His own people. He is ever faithful to His word to them. Even when they sin, His anger only lasts for a moment. He makes His mercies available in due time. No matter what you are passing through, the news of His visitation will be heard of you very soon.

There is no generation that will not experience its own famine. Naomi's family in a bid to boycott God's dealing (famine) found their way out of God's inheritance into the land of Moab. However, their lives became more miserable. There are several men who have missed a definite divine visitation because they left their posts, assignments and what God wants them to be.

Your labour in the Lord is not in vain. Your faithfulness, righteousness, consecration will be rewarded at the appointed time. The Lord will surely visit you in due time. Abide in Him and submit yourself to His dealings in your life. Grow in obedience and in His Grace. Very soon it will be said of you that God has visited you.

The ways of God are different from our ways. The original purpose of God in the life of a man will only be fulfilled at the appointment time. No matter what a man does, things will only fall into its rightful place according to God's plan for his life at the appropriate time in his own calendar. When your time has no come your principal duty is to wait for your time because except the Lord builds the house builders are building in vain.

There is a process required in every bid to bring about the reality of a vision. The dreams of Joseph didn't come to pass immediately, David did not ascend the throne immediately he was anointed to be King. These men had to wait for their time. In their period of waiting their strength was renewed and they accumulated the required character to be who God wanted them to be when their time came.

Submit yourself to whatever process God is taking you through in various affairs of life. Believe in God's timing for your life and be mindful that God is not a man who lies or fail in His promises.

When God wants to prove a man, He does that by given him an exclusive right to exercise His will. It is in this that God will know evidently the real personality of a man. Right from the beginning of the world He has never forced His will on any man.

When the Lord placed the man in the garden of Eden He gave him an option of life and death subjected to his will. Adam exercised his will against God's will; He put the entire human race into an everlasting problem. Similarly, when the children of Israel were about to enter into the promised land he also gave them an option of life and death. In like manner as long as you live and proceed in destiny you will be given an opportunity to exercise your will between life and death.

A man may think within himself that despite doing whatever he likes nothing happened to him, God is only giving such an opportunity to exercise his will towards life or death. A wise man will humble himself and always put his will under God's will. Allow God to work in you to do His good pleasure. Be mindful of the fact that you were created to fulfill God's will. Your life must be aligned according to His will.

Many people have come to accept defeat in various aspect of life as a result of series of failure they have had so far in life. Life is characterized by several issues which are peculiar to every individual. It takes courage to live successfully in this life. There is no other way to fail in destiny than to allow your heart to fail in every quest to fulfill your mandate in life.

In our text, David and his men cried until they had no strength to cry due to what befell them (1Sam 30:1-5). But the situation remained the same until they found courage and strength in the Lord. Don't allow anything to hinder you from pursuing your dreams. We will not but overcome various hurdles of life to be a fulfillment.

If you are sick, It is not time to give up but time to find strength in the Lord to recover. If your business, academics, marriage or ministry is failing, it is not a time to let go but a time to brace up and keep faith alive for outstanding testimonies.

In the midst of discouragement encourage yourself to be in charge of your destiny. No man will do that for you. Hence, take charge and fulfill your mandate come what may.

The life we have today gives us an opportunity to walk with God.

Looking through your journey in destiny, you will discover that it has been God all the way.

The sickness that killed many people didn't kill you. The journey others took that ended their lives is the same journey you embarked on and came through safely. You were accepted for job, contract, admission and promotion where several people have been rejected. Many difficult good things of life that many failed to achieve came so cheaply for you.

The will of God for you in all situations is for you with the heart of gratitude to appreciate God who had mercy on you. Be mindful of the fact that you are a product of grace and privilege. Don't take the grace of God for granted; at every point in time of your life you are highly indebted.

No matter your condition the fact still remains that you are better than someone. There is no stage you will get to in life or the level of your achievements that there will not be men who will be far ahead of you. When a man keeps looking at the men who are far ahead of him or those who appear prosperous; he is likely to find it difficult to appreciate God for his own life.

A man of God told his congregation to write their problems in a sheet of paper without their names and asked them to submit it. He asked each of the members to pick up one of the papers in such a way that each member will pick the one that is not his. After allowing them to read what was written in the piece of paper, he asked the congregation: "Who among you prefer the problem written in the paper to yours?" None of them responded positively but they thanked the Lord.

You should thank God enough for His love and mercy over your life. If you can think deeply and passionately, you will discover that you have every reason to thank God for your life.
