You might not be getting responses because the people who might have the info you seek might not be online or active here. However, I think Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are good places to consider. You can browse up on the prospects in these cities. okokobiokoman: wow! finally got to the last page. Please i need an advice from the senior landees , i am currently in banking but i want to try my hands on 3d modelling, animation and graphics in canada. What is the best route to take and which city would be very adequate. |

Also not that they might not agree to give you the letter in CIC format. If not collect a letter of introduction, letter of non-indebtedness if they have and 6 months SOA. etrange: Dear House,
Please, is there a specific format for Proof of Fund? This GTBank customer care guy seems not to fully understand what my friend is explaining to him. Is Proof of Fund letter different from Bank Statement? Does it also contain transactions like bank statement? If not, how would CIC see the monthly salary entries in it?
Please, help a brother.
Regards. |

Work history (provide reference) Personal history (everything you have been doing for the past 10yrs including work history, no reference letter) intswagga: Congrats to ITA clinchers, Please I want to submit my profile on CIC but am a bit confused, I read there were supposed to be two places showing work experience and personal work history where someone can input his/her details but am just seeing work history ( and that’s supposed to be the one you do not provide references for) so which is the one I would be providing reference for?? |

I guess the whole family just has to prayerfully decide whether to take the risk. Decline, a. hopefully get ITA on 2nd (or earlier), rush to apply before 7th. b. no draw, you rewrite IELTS, pass and the whole family goes. Accept and go unaccompanied. I tried to do a trend analysis for you, but the information is not consistent. Draws: #80 – December 20, 2017 #81 – January 10, 2018 #50 – December 22, 2016 #51 – January 4, 2017 #23 – December 18, 2015 #24 – January 6, 2016 May God guide you and give you wisdom. laghopeful20181: MAY BE 2ND OF JANUARY. |

[s]The issue is her Jan birthday. @laghopeful20181, which date in January? [/s] Sorry, it's ielts. Ifeoma77: Sis, please decline the ITA. You will get ITA with hubby accompanying. It's 439 today, the next draw cannot be higher than 443 and even if it is, it will come down. Decline that ITA and add your hubby to your application |

Ok then, you are good to go. NB: the wordings of your reference letter should not be identical to that of the NOC. Jimmychuks2018: Yes it does, the lead statement under admin assistant is the same with my job description in my employment letter. Just the same way it appears in cic website. Can I use admin assistant to apply under provincial nominee?

That's rough. Sorry for your loss and thanks for sharing. slimlanre: I have been a silent observer on this thread for a while. I must commend the selfless efforts seen here.
@Salford, the bolded has been my prayer since the 1st time i had to go to the emergency two years ago when my wife was pregnant. After being triaged, we waited for close to 5 hours to see a doctor. I couldn't believe i was in the "emergency unit". We eventually lost the baby. It opened my eyes to the Healthcare system in Canada, precisely Calgary. It is a major challenge, the wait times, but since it is "free", most Canadians just live with it. |

There's a law of paradox of choice: The more options you have, the more difficult it is to make a decision and the worse you feel about your decision when you finally make it.
So it is for newcomers about where to settle. Out of 10 provinces, which one to choose and out of the many cities in a province, which one to choose. Knowing that the city you choose will determine so much.
For others, it seems easy. Indians mostly go to Brampton/Mississuaga, Chinese mostly to Vancouver, Filipinos mostly to Calgary/Edmonton and Arabs mostly to Montreal. |

Hi. For 1 and 3: Have you checked this page? https://www.nairaland.com/3617393/living-canada-life-canadian-immigrant/113#61210244. Scroll down and you will see more links to check. 2. No. Bonvieto: hi guys, i havent gotten my ppr but i am going by faith that i will soon, so i just wanna ask a couple of questions, so i know what i am getting myself into.
Brief introduction about me, i am single, i have a masters degree in telecoms engineering, a Bsc in Chem and a diploma in IT, i did my masters in UK, and i lived there for 4 years, so i quite used to the cold a lil bit.
1. what province is the best to settle in ? i am thinking of Toronto, but i wanna get you guys take first before making that decision. 2. do i have to convert all my POF to foreign currency before boarding a plane to Canada? 3. what advice and tips can you guys give me, and what support system is available to fresh immigrants in canada?
i ask these questions because i do not want to make the same mistake i made when i first got to the UK, took me along time to adjust to life there, and u can imagine i lost alot of money on unnecessary spending. |

Ok... But how prevalent is the option to get private care in Canada, especially when considering the stories of people travelling to get care in US. I also saw this online: "Under federal law, private clinics are not legally allowed to provide services covered by the Canada Health Act. Regardless of this legal issue, many do offer such services." ( from here). Bsbabe: The medical wait time here in Canada is the same issue playing out in the United Kingdom, Australia, Sweden, Finland (I think they are addressing theirs) and other countries who run a national health system. In all these countries, you can choose to wait on the healthcare system or go private. I guess the only upside is that you have a choice. |

Goes on to prove that every country has its good and bad; every system has its advantages and disadvantages. salford: I would chip in my experience on this. Availability of family doctors and emergency services varies from towns to towns, city to city and province to province.
May God not let us fall ill. |

It will most likely affect him. They might need to wait. "In most cases, an applicant will be found inadmissible on the grounds of having an inadmissible family member if that person, whether accompanying or not has been determined to be inadmissible [A42(1)]." Inadmissibility due to inadmissible family member. OmalichaUC: Goodafternoon house. I have been following this thread for a while and I am getting really enlightened. However I have a situation for a colleague who was banned for misrepresentation.
Her hubby wants to apply for Express Entry, she asked me if he will be also inadmissible since they are married even though the lady is not accompanying.
Should her hubby carry or will be have to wait for her?
Note: they both have an understanding about his movement plans. |
