I may be wrong, but a quick assessment of that picture indicates a teenager who is about getting into University or at the most, in his first years in the university.

If that's the case, you are better off concentrating on having a great CGPA in the university. Your whole life is still ahead of you. Don't even think of having sex now. You might make some irreparable mistakes.

Emma Ado should go sit down somewhere.

Rohr has done what our prevoius coaches have refused to do. I.e selecting the best available for each game.

Keshi was busy fighting with Moses and resurrecting Sola Ameobi's career. He also killed Sunday Mba's career.

Siasia own na wahala with Osaze. The other time too he dropped Enyeama and played Ayenugba only for Guinea to ensure his sack.

Oliseh too no wan see Enyeama.Oliseh prefared to play Paul Onobi ahead of Mikel .He also snubbed Aluko jst bc he was in 2nd division and forced Sylvester Igboun down our throat

Just look at the way Rohr handled that V. Moses' injury case. If na Oliseh or Keshi dey for don suspend the guy in a bid to "instill discipline in the team".

Imaging Oliseh appointing Musa as captain while Enyeama and Mikel were in the team just in a bid to spite the "big boys".

Siasia own na to dey field "his boys" upandan for team.

There is nothing so special about being a national team coach. Just select the right players and instill a good team atmosphere and u will get the results.
Oga, you no even chill at all. You pick them one by one serve them beating grin

The effort I'm talking about lies in the selection and pursuing of the partner. I have such ridiculously high standards that in my entire lifetime, I can count on my fingers, the people that qualified. as a perfectionist, I am unable to lower my standards.

Higher standards mean more effort to get to know, and then later date these people.
That's exactly why I mentioned approach. Approach matters. Dating could be a school in itself for some.

I obviously don't know you so I don't know the city you are in and how old you are, and pretty much anything about you. I know that environments can have a way of restricting our choices, as well as our level of exposure (for some, the older, the more exposed)

Let me ask you: Do you think it takes more effort to get a girl than it takes to pass an exam (I assume you have at least finished your first degree)?

if I have my way, I won't even marry at all.

the whole affair is just too troublesome.

if I had to marry though, It's only natural to go for someone like myself.
You mentioned the effort required to get a partner to have sex with. Well, that I really don't understand. What effort? With the right approach and since the (responsible) sex is going to be between two consenting adults, I can't wrap my head around the effort part. Well, it's sometimes an art form. If you have it, you have it. If you don't, well, you can learn. It's like selling: Some people are born with it, the rest of us have to learn.

Or are you talking about the effort of the act itself? That you don't fancy the act of having sex? If yes, perhaps you are asexual, especially since you are already contemplating not getting married, which automatically means you might not have sex for your lifetime (since you are no believer in sex outside marriage). Well, it's natural not to have any appeal for sex itself.

If you're going to marry though, I advise you take sex more seriously. That you both are gonna get married as virgins is no criterion for marital success. It could be worse if you don't marry a virgin. Everyday, I read on the pages of newspaper about how sexual dissatisfaction is the major cause of divorce in marriage today. A report says 85% of all divorces is down to sexual problems in marriage. Any psychologist will tell you that it's a very big problem.

All the best, brother.

Santos is not one player. A lot of young kids play games with the old stars of the club. Some middle aged stars come to help play and educate the young ones. It is a club culture. Not a Neymar thing.
LOL. This is laughable! So you mean Santos organizes a competition where their youth teams play against their senior team? Cmon...what happens at Santos is what happens in every major club. They take promising players from their youth teams and ask them to train with the main team. During training, they fit them into one of the teams (Reserve or Main) and they play against each other. That's how the young ones learn. That's what is happening to Yahaya now at Porto. He is training with the main team.

Anyway...you win! Believe what you want.

I mentioned Neymar and the Santos system of old players training with the Academy kids to help them grow. So you will understand exposure and education for young players. It was a friendly competition, not World Cup for goodness sake. We used this as a room to educate them.

The NFF deserves praise for their brilliant choice.

I am sure you would have told Robinho not to train with Neymar and his Academy team mates because you do not believe in exposing young talents through training with professionals.
How is young Neymar (one player) getting educated by playing in Santos main team training session comparable with an entire team of U15/U16 playing competitive matches against Champions-league level professionals the same thing?

You are in over your head this time around. No wonder you can't give me an example of another country engaging in this sort of thing.

chrisooblog's point is very clear. We chose to do it to expose our players. Simple.

SportsRe: THE NIGERIAN YOUTH AND CADET TALENTS/ PLAYERS THREAD (Home and Abroad) by joseph1013(op): 4:36pm On Nov 17, 2016
TheGoodJoe:

It was a competition that the NFF smartly chose to use to educate our U17 players they discovered. I wonder how I have to repeat the same thing again. We have a little exposure for our U20 boys because they won the U17. That tournament is not just for winning but the give our young players exposure.

That is what the NFF used the Suwon Tourney for. To expose and educate our youngsters.
So you know it was a competition yet you keep mentioning Neymar who was merely training with the Santos first team. How do they compare to the other? Exposure and education is what Iheanacho got when he trained with the Barcelona first team. Now asking the then U17 team to play the International Cup with Inter Milan, Madrid and City would be a foolish decision on the part of the NFF. But I won't be surprised if you support it, even asking that the U13 prosecute the matches all in the name of exposure.

are we at the same level of those 'powerhouses' you mentioned? those countries have club sides with well run academies where you have u10, u13, u15, u16 teams so it will be easier to monitor and gather such players to play such competitions but us with our limited funding and scoop of operations have to maximize any small opportunities we have to give our youth players exposure.

to answer your question i know for a fact that the english don't usually send their best youth players to competitions like u17, u20 world cup because they would be too busy with their clubsides so their fa would send other youngsters to get exposure. i would check it out but i remember the spaniards winning one u20 euro tournament. when it was time for the main world cup they sent their u19 team
Good. Check it out and let's even leave out powerhouses now. Check it out and give me one country anywhere in the world where they make their U15/U16 play professionals in competitions.

Let me know when you check it. I will be here all day.

bro the only reason you are criticizing this team is because of the scandalous losses they got. if they had gotten decent results we won't be having this conversation. this tournament was a friendly meant for experimentation. i don't fault the wisdom in the nff giving the u17s that failed to qualify a chance at showcasing their talents since they will be most likely be forgotten after all this. who knows if we would be discovering a few hidden gems in their midst that we won't ordinarily have looked at because they failed at u17 level. you would probably argue that we should have sent them osimhen and kelechi nwakali's set but those guys by winning the last u17 world cup have exposed themselves to the world and some of them have gotten/are getting good contracts out of it.
You know you've not answered my question, right? Name one football powerhouse who use this kind of approach to develop their talents; countries who go for competitions and line up U15 to play Champion-league level footballers for exposure. I just need one country! I will accept your theory if you can mention that country

Wow so who will he bench to get in that 11? He is squad player just like Musa the difference is the amount of games in England which leaves room for squad players to get more chances.
Looks like you've not watched Ejaria before. Before he got injured in pre-season, he was a super starter in the team. Klopp was always praising him and was looking forward to his wonders during the season. The injury cut the hopes. The only reason he's not a sure starter now is because the team is playing very well, but even at that Klopp is intentionally blending him in. Klopp rates him very highly in that squad, watch his pre-season videos to discover why.

We are talking education. When Neymar was about nine, he trained with Old Santos players, it helped him and others grow. Iwobi as a kid used to play with Okocha. So, U16 playing pros will educate our boys. Food For thought.

I'm non-religious. I watch porn, I masturbate, I have (pre-marital) sex.

To me, none of them are wrong. I understand how they feel wrong, because I once used to think so. And it's due to the 'brain-washing' I was subject to while growing up (like most people) that taught me that these activities were wrong and sinful. Now I know better.

However, like almost every activity on earth, it's wrong to indulge in them to excess.

Some people don't masturbate because they feel uneasy about it, for diferent reasons (usually religion). I think masturbation is a good way to pleasure yourself, explore your body's erotic zones, get orgasms without risk of STI or interacting with other people, and ease 'konji'.
It's safe and I recommend it.

I watch porn because (as I'm very interested in & excited about sex) I'm always looking for ways to improve my sexual skills and it's also a nice tool for masturbation.

Besides, we need our players to go back to their respective clubs without injuries.
So friendly matches are only for teams that have tournaments coming? You know that's not true. We've played friendlies when we had no tournament coming up immediately. If we say we need matches to try new players and formations, it is not recommended that you try them out in real matches. Now is the time to try out other guys in the problematic positions to see if they meet the Super Eagles quality.

The Mystery of the 2-Goal Lead
by David Adeoye

Next January 30 would make it 29 years that I have actively followed Nigeria's senior male football team, the Super Eagles.

In all these years, I've never seen Nigeria throw away a two-goal lead. Almost every time the Super Eagles manage to open a two-goal lead, the worst that happens is a win with a one-goal margin.

From Maroc '88 to Algiers 90, Senegal '92, Tunisia '94, USA '94, up till the last AFCON, once the Eagles are two goals up, the match is as good as won.

And when the Eagles play a 2-2 draw, it's almost certain the other team scored first and maybe even went two goals up.

Yes. The Eagles fight to come back and many times achieve it. Against Egypt at AFCON '84, against Coted'Ivoire at Tunisia '94, against Spain at France '98, and yes against Cameroun at Nigeria-Ghana '2000.

But you don't get a dramatic comeback against the Eagles - not even during the Yobo years when we literally played executive football for some years.

The problem in the past 15 years or so has always been for the Eagles to get that vital second goal that opens the wider lead. The last time we got a 2-goal lead at the World Cup was in 1994 and that year, we did it twice, Bulgaria and Greece. If we had gotten a second goal against Italy, we almost certainly would have won.

With the new coaching crew and a more potent 'Tokunbo' attack, we against all odds could well be on our way to Russia. Already, Zambia and Algeria have been added to the statistics of victims of our deadly two-goal lead virus, which in the past 29 years, no team in Africa or the World for that matter has survived.

Just as the term says, but it is also a non-interventionist.
Let me give it to you Trump-style: From my perspective, I think the deist is one of two things: confused or irrational.

Deists advocate believing in something while at the same time acknowledging that there’s no evidence for it. And that’s the sign of an irrational or a confused mind.

To be fair, I can see why it is emotionally appealing, but I do know that it is not intellectually satisfying.

I agree that there are more Creationists in the Christendom, but some have no issue with evolution there are usually called "Old Earth Creationist" those who believe the universe was not created in six days. Remember this holy book, is always open to interpretations.
I don't know how else to say this for you to understand. The Old Earth Creationists are one of the 3000+ sects in Christendom. An overwhelming percentage of Christians and Muslim believe God created human beings and made them lord of all creation.

However, from your response, it seems you are equating an "intelligent designer" to the God of two religions because there are popular. Am i wrong?
This thread is about religion, so it should mean that any reference to God, supreme being, or intelligent designer would be in the context of what is written in the two biggest religions I know about.

Let me ask: what intelligent designer do you keep talking about?
Christianity EtcRe: My Thoughts And Questions About Religion by joseph1013(op):
4kings:
Not all theists reject Evolution.

The render engine of a 3d simulation system can also be likened to evolution.
And the programmer can be likened to this Intelligent designer.

Or are u implying that evolution disproves a transcendent intelligent being?
Perhaps you're reading your own interpretation into my simple words. When I say the theist, I refer to the Mainstream Theist, the largest groups of Christians and Muslims in the world who believe in a super intelligent being who directly oversaw the direct bringing into being of humans.

There are smaller sects in these two religions who believe in anything on the surface of the earth, including their own version of evolution, or didn't you see the guy that said his sect doesn't believe in the physical tree of knowledge of good and evil, as well as the talking serpent? That's none of my business.

I am telling you that evolution disproves the existence of a creator who directly oversaw the creation of humans as depicted in those two holy books.
