Ishilove: I seriously have to unfollow this thread. The disgusting comments I've being reading here fills me with such anger. A guy is stup1d enough to have being played by a girl, and instead of owning up to his stupidity, he feels he is justified to rape her. What I am seeing here are people saying she deserves to be raped because of 'greed'.
Sick, twisted and perverted generation with no moral compass.
*unfollows thread* Welcome to The Federal Republic of Nigeria. Here you'll find anything goes, as long as you have the power to exert it. |

Laveda: Like I said, she's learnt and next time she'd be careful enough and stop asking and receiving anyhow. Let's hope and pray she does, cos I know man girls find it very hard learning from this sort of thing. E.G Just like the runz girl who witnessed her friends eyes bring plucked out, after surviving, she continues with her runz. |

freshvine: Why will I run a circus with you when your brain has been tilted towards non objective application?
You don't have the rational mind to sustain this argument cos it's glaring your myopic standpoint is sentiment driven and I don't want to give you that pleasure to fantasize to oblivion.
I know your nectar is sweet and free, why not patronize those with what you live for?
The lady provided the template for crime to exercise and you want me to exemplify her and condemn the guy. Because arm robbery is a crime, will you leave your doors ajar at night and hope they don't come?
If you condemn the action of the girl, you've succeeded in dealing with the root problem and rape will reduce drastically in the society but if you keep saying "no matter what" other young lady will think it is legal to deceive a man into believing they're in a relationship with him with the notion of zapping his wealth with no benefit to the guy and such demeanor encourages rape.
I know that someday you'll will have a son and your advice to him when he is of age won't be different from the others, "beware of the foolish girls who's after your money and would want to render you useless". This girl represent one of those mothers warmed their male children about and in this case, the guy was smart to extract his wages. Sh1t |

Laveda:
thanks.
I guess she was enjoying it all and didn't see it coming, you know some guys are just evil. I know that some guys are the personification of evil, but he who wines and dine with evil is bound to get tainted by that same evil. In life, one can not eat his cake and have it. Though most girls always believe they can. |

boninho: If the rape case is reported in Islamic foremost nation Saudi Arabia, both the guy and the girl would be punished. The guy for the act and the girl for having left her home without a blood related male accompanying her and then putting herself in a situation that could lead to sexual violence Sorry but this is Nigeria. |

Laveda: Its just unfortunate sha.
But she's learnt, maybe next time she'd be careful of the kinda guy she rolls with, and also know what she's in for you don't just keep collecting from a guy when his intentions are obvious, I'm sure he's been requesting for it before the incident took place, would have been much better if she left such relationship...
Anyways, its all in her hands. See why i've been saying you reason sometimes far above your age grade? In the case of the girl in question, it was just greed and unfortunate. She's seen a real meal ticket to collect money and what have you. |

the place is on fire.
But the Op didn't do well, should have stopped his friend. Exactly. If I was the one I would have stopped him, why? because I know there are many ways you can use to punish a girl. But rape is never among. |

freshvine: I fed you what you want to hear.
Go and chop another man money free of charge, this time he won't rape you, he'll put a bullet through your brain borrowing the remarks of cococandy on this thread earlier on LOL. Honestly, many girls in Nigeria today see relationship as a means of asking a guy for money, knowing fully well that the reason the guy even gives them money is because he believes he stand a chance in shagging them. MODIFIEDGirls today need to know you can't expect to dine with the devil and not pay your dues. |
Romance › Re: Some Men Are Fools. Rape Can Never Be Justified! by joseph1832(m): 4:46pm On Sep 10, 2016 |
Oahray: yeah, being straightforward is the mature path. That way the other party can't pretend she doesn't know where the budding relationship is going. Believe me when I tell you some might still pretend. As you know some girls have first class degree in pretending. |

Christianity Etc › Re: I Would Rather Marry An Atheist Than A Man From Another Faith by joseph1832(m): 10:55am On Sep 09, 2016 |
Seun: An atheist husband would try to prevent you from forcing your children to go to church, and he won't go with you. How do you feel about that? Not always true. Some atheist husbands don't prevent their wives from going to church, they rather encourage it. I have atheist friends whose wives go to church with their kids. |

Crime › Re: Woman Beaten For "Possessing Spiritual Powers" In Benue State by joseph1832(m): 10:25am On Sep 09, 2016 |
Seun: Why do spiritual powers only manifest in the midst of uneducated and superstitious people? Because illiterates are easily fooled. Someone who doesn't like this woman wanted to make her suffer, and all he had to do was accuse her of having imaginary spiritual powers. That I wouldn't know. But I saw enough of sh1t way back during my time in university to know how real and potent Juju is. In a sane society, the stupid boys who beat her would be ashamed to show their faces in any photo. And if they did, they would be arrested and charged to court for assault. I'd like to urge feminist NGOs to step in and help this woman. And if possible, to help get those boys arrested. Yes in a sane society, no doubt, but you and I know we live in a far less sane society. Though I'm not holding brief for the boys who assaulted the lady. |

Seun: Religious superstition strikes again. Instead of teaching people these things aren't real, pastors hype them so they can say "but Jesus is greater!" It's usually not real, until it happens to you. |
Christianity Etc › Re: I Am Just Tired Of The Nigerian Church by joseph1832(m): 9:47am On Sep 09, 2016 |
amicable09: Lol. Why don't you want it to be them? Them no dey hungry?
Ok. Scriptures make us understand that the Levites, that is the priests were not meant to own land (work), therefore for them to survive and be nourished, those from the other tribes who had landed property were obligated to tithe 10% of what they got so that there will be meat (food) in God's house.
That's the idea. When did Nigerian pastors and reverends become Levites? I'll have you know men of God today, not only own landed properties, they own companies, cars etc, all amounting to millions of naira. So giving this set of people your 10% is just wasting your resources and adding to theirs... |
Christianity Etc › Re: I Am Just Tired Of The Nigerian Church by joseph1832(m): 9:22am On Sep 09, 2016 |
amicable09: I'm smiling going through your thread. I know people, very many of them while in school who sowed their tuition and accommodation fees as seed of faith. And no one of them was stranded at any time. It's the measure of their Faith.
Over to tithing, who told you it's unchristian? Where did you read that your 'tithe' should be given to the poor? I don't get this new doctrines I see springing up in many quarters these days. If you're paying tithe, it is clear -the purpose. It is for meat to be in the storehouse not for the poor outside. What you give to the poor outside, no matter the percentage is not tithe! That's my understanding. Em, and who is going to eat this meat? Hope not the pastors or reverends? |
