Actually you pay house rent every month. Divide the rent you pay annually by 12 and you'll know how much you pay a month. grin

"cheap wedding" yeah right, middle class men use this illusion to plan and budget their wedding, we all know at the end the expenses do surpass their budget line. then it won't be "cheap" in their eyes.
I have a friend who deluded himself into believing he can have a cheap wedding.

After he calculated how much he's spent just a month to the wedding, he was looking at 2.7 million Naira.

When he told me this, I laughed at him and told him straight in his face that, that money could have been enough to send his kids through primary and secondary school, not to talk of university.

He asked me later how much is my estimate of a 'cheap wedding' I simply told him, "go to court and get married". The only expense is just transport fare, to and fro.

1. Have a cheap wedding:
The easiest thing to start fighting about marriage is finances. Take time to spend only what you can conveniently afford. Otherwise, money based arguments will find their way into the bedroom.

2. Use the word “we” often:
According to a study carried out in University of California, Berkeley, couples who use the word ‘we’ and ‘us’ when they are arguing easily resolve their issues and don’t suffer much stress.

3. Doing things that you both enjoy:
Some people participate in activities their partner strongly dislikes. This may lead to unhappiness in the marriage.

4. You are going to disagree :
I remember the first disagreement my husband and I had – we thought the world was LITERALLY ending! We quickly learned that as husband and wife – we definitely weren’t going to see eye to eye on EVERY little circumstance. And not only were we not going to see eye to eye, but that was okay! You are going to hit bumps and road blocks on your journey together, but it is how you get through them that matters. I always just say, “It’s okay if you disagree with me. I can’t force you to be right.”

5. Think before you speak :
I will be the first to tell you that I am a TALKER and I can ramble on and on about anything. When it comes to your spouse, be careful what you say. They have feelings too and for some reason when a comment comes from those we love, we take it to heart much more.

6. Add Yours....

What do we call this..
Do we still blame the government for this?I hate it when I see lazy people blame the government for their lapses,

A young man of about 24years old was caught in the act, forcefully taking sexual advantage of his little cousin.
Eye witness indicated that this incident occurred in UMUIHUOCHA, UMUAMARANNO , OBOHIA in AHIAZU MBAISE LGA. IN IMO STATE
This young man by name NZENWA UGOCHUKWU KINGSLEY allegedly raped his 8years old cousin )
I think its high time the state enacts stiffer
measures against rape, devoid of the option of
fine or bail with long jail terms. People must
start speaking out instead of being subdued by
this hypocritical mask of stigma and reputation.
Justice must be done; not just for the innocent
girl but for the society in discouraging others
from committing such a wicked and abominable act.... He is currently in police detention while the victim(his cousin ) is receiving medical treatment, does it mean the people of Mbaise have no penalty for such abominable act ?
Where is the source of this news? And which police station was he taken to?

Foreign AffairsRe: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by joseph1832(m): 11:11am On Sep 04, 2016

And here goes another unpatriotic fool who would sell his country at any price with misleading information just to discredit his political adversaries!!!

Tonyebacarnista, please stick to domestic politics, you're an exhibit A of ignorance when you venture into geopolitics.

[b]Kenya isn't even amongst Africa's top 10 countries. If you want to slight APC, fine. Do it domestically. Comparing Nigeria to Kenya means you're an ignoramus, a compound simpleton and a political turncoat. You're a disgrace in a single word.

Now to facts: Only 42% of Kenyans are connected to the national grid as against 50% in Nigeria despite our exploding population. So Kenyans are having huge power issues when not even faced with vandalism of pipelines carrying gas to plants.

Kenya rely on tourism to feed, dummy. How dare you compare tourism between Nigeria and Kenya? Are you a daft? It is like comparing holiday resorts between the Mediterranean countries and America, or between tourism between Egypt and Canada.

Boy, Kenya is so undeveloped their natural wild animals roam free, British tourists had to set up game reserves and tame those animals and in the process provide food for 45 million starving Kenyans whose social graces and living conditions were no better than bonobo-chimpanzees. And get your facts right, Kenya is in East Africa not West.

Life expectancy? Boy, What's that got to do with geopolitics. Little counties always have higher life experiences, E.g Luxembourg, Switzerland, Finland and two other silly Asian countries, I can't even bring their names to the fore, but they aren't Japan or South Korea or China and those other small countries are higher life expectancies than US , Germany, UK, France. You're a glorified daft.
The toks2008 of political section.

Mr. Unpatriotic daft, have you compared Nigeria's PPP and GDP to Kenya's? Have you compared our per capita incomee to Kenya's? Olodo.

Over half of Kenya is of virgin vegetation as it was from creation. Even Nairobi is half forest with unproductivity and primal existence.

Olodo, what is the size of Kenya's middle class in percentage compare to Nigeria's?

A fool like you is talking mobile money when NIGERIA is talking space technology, being the only 2 or 3 African countries to launch sattelite into the orbit.

Nigeria is ranked no3 in Africa in technology just behind Egypt and south Africa and i couldn't find Kenya in that list.

As we speak Nigeria's banks and firms are dominating Western and Eastern Africa and i can't seem to remember any Kenyan firm scattered across Africa .

We are undergoing economic recession at the moment as many other counties who depend on single commodity product for revenue generation, but don't ever compare NIGERIA with Kenya, you ignorant fool.
