SamConquer: I was Happy thinking this would be a Nice thread for Me to contribute,But immediately I saw Your 'Bullets''...I was Like Oh No!Oh No!!Not Again,But one thing is Sure. You cooked up that Story, another thing is Sure, with Your write-ups[that constitute enough gramatical 'bullets'] it is obvious which Side You are on[public Uni],You Just use Yourself as A Scapegoat by telling us that Private Uni is Far betterDid you or did you not understand what the OP is saying? If you did, then you are trying to throw stones where not needed! As long as you understood what was said why try to sound like an English Professor. |
To me I believe it's what the Parents want! Remember "charity begins at home" if a child is dull no amount of private or public school will make him/her brilliant!. It all depends of the level of attention given the kids by the Parents. |
Another kid that blames his bad behavior of Marilyn Manson!!
Takes a kid to know a kid ![]() |
naptu2: Now you are trying to run away from the issue, but you've brought yourself right back to it.If Okija_Juju does listen to his brand of music at room volume it isn't ma business but when he decides to make a nuisance out if it... The songs our artiste sing now adays have numerous negative effect on kids... |
First of all, its 'I'm' and not 'Am'.. I would have called you an illiterate for not knowing this, but then I am not 'Narrow Minded' like that.. I realize that not everybody had access to the same quality of education like others.. And sure as hell you are 'something'... And that something is subject to personal definition..
Didn't know you are now a professor of English Language! Be it "am" or "I'm" what matters is communication was established! Shikena. |
naptu2: Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!Yep "choice" as you put. Don't forget Senator Yerima has the choice/right to marry under age girls, that falls under choice right? |
naptu2: Now, explain how his "poison" poisons your "meat".This is it, he listens to whatever song he wants and plays it loud... Figure it out for yourself!. |
Yup!! I am a wanna be... #We all are wanna bes.. You sure 'wanna-be' something.. I 'wanna-be' filthy wealthy.. So whats your point?! You on the other hand sound like a child who shouldnt have unsupervised access to the internet..
"We all wanna be something" Well that's the difference between you and me. Am already something!!!.You my good man sound like you really need a lobotomy! |
naptu2: 1) A song could have lyrics and you can enjoy the song without understanding the meaning of the words (eg Deep Forest's "Sweet Lullaby" )."One mans meat is another mans poison" still I say when that mans poison poison's another mans meat... |
You must be addicted to message.. ![]() Song - Message Movie - Message Newspaper - Message Church - Message Radio - Message Letter - message Internet - Message Advert - Message Office - Your boss sends you on mesage My friend!!! There is more to life than 'message'.. What about entertainment value?! When you go to an amusement park, what message do you go there to get?! When you listen to Ludwig Van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Handel and other composers play their numbers, what message does an orchestra of instrument playing pass to you?! When you watch classics like Charlie Chaplin and co run around and act like lunatics, what message does it pass to you?! When you see a child watching cartoons like Daffy Duck and road runner, what message does it pass to them?! When you see women jump up and start to gyrate their waists to the sounds of the Yoruba talking drums or the Igbo bass pots, dancing atilogwu and co, what message do you think its passing to them?! Again.. Life is more than messages.. I still can never bring myself to listen to Enya and co. I cant stand gospel music as I dont see any creativity in it. I love and watch animes like Naruto|Bleach|Onepiece|Death Note and co for their storyline, fight sequences and graphics, not to learn how to do a Bankai, or control my Chakra. My advice to you is to go study MEDIA and its many aspects.. If you want a message, go and watch the news or a Pastors preaching. I and Millions of other Nigerians, Ghanaians, Americans, Alaskans and the entire fvcking peoples of different races, ethinicities, religion, tribes, tongues and co watch and listen to these things for other reason other than the messages they pass.. I love Evanesence.. She dosent pass me any message, but I love her songs nonetheless.. I love MATT HOUSTON.. R&B 2 Rue album is on my Ipad and in my CD player... But I cant hear a word of French. I Love Olamide A.K.A Badooo.. But my Yoruba stops at Ekabo and Oshe. I love 9ice's Gongo Aso.. Been blasting it for years. Have bought over 10 of that darn album.. But I dont still know what the fvck he is saying. I Love 2chainz|Waka Flocka Flame.. These niggas have never said any rhyme that makes sense whatsoever to me.. But I bang that shiit in my car after work every other day.. I can keep going on.. Even the bible says that there is a time for everything; A time for messages & a time to just groove.. You and other Messenger Mongers come across like sadists..
You so much sound like a wanna be! Everything you mentioned here are things you do because these things are en vogue! Plain and simple. |
naptu2: One man's meat is another man's poison. He has the right to listen to whatever song he likes. Music is an art form that serves various purposes including storytelling, motivation, relaxation, etc. It is not mandatory for a piece of music to have a message before you can enjoy it.I almost agree with you on what you said! That piece is absolutely wonderfull. It has no lyrics so no message is expected! But when there's lyric present surely one is poised to ask what the artiste is trying to portray?. "One mans meat is another mans poison" but when that mans poison poisons another mans meat surely discord is bound to happen. |
andy jyd: I'm sorry to say this, if u know d names of corrupt ppl and don't want 2 mention dem, 4 d fear of attack, den u don't deserve 2 be our president.GBAM!!!Bros you don't need to be sorry ooo, He GEJ is not sorry so why should you?! All he (GEJ) has ever done is to sit back and relax while things fall apart around him, later he'll come and say he doesn't want to mention names, who is he trying to fool?, the guys has absolutely no idea what he's up against. |
You are the narrow minded person who expects everything to pass a Message.. Music by simple Primary school definition is; A collection of sounds that is pleasant to the ears.. A song can be for anything from; Entertainment, to relaxation, to rebellion, to passing a message to even putting a child to sleep. You and all these Nigerian 'Messengers' should please get a life. You aare always looking gfor who will pass you people messages. Yousee Big Brother, You shout 'What message does it pass', You see a childrens cartoon, you start looking for message. You read a comic book, you are looking for message. You hear only the beats of a song, you are looking for message. HABA!!! If the song does not appeal to you in the 'message formet', please go and find songs that will pass you the message you want... When I'm listening to these songs by 2a.m on a friday night after a long week of hard labour, I am not looking for the message in it, but just the beats and for me to dance my stress away.. THATS ALL.. Message! Message!! Message!!! Abi you dey attend Grail Message?! Or you be Yahoo Messenger addict?! And to think that a Narrow minded person like you who cant see beyond 'Message' is calling other people narrow-minded..
If you want to relax by listening to songs that will calm your nerves after a hard days work I suggest you listen to any artiste whose genre is new age.Any man or woman who listen to these songs and say he or she wants to calm his or her nerve should please go for psychiatric evaluation. |
I will forever continue to be amazed at the level of narrow mindedness some Nigerians display. Music is about passing a message, what message did this songs pass?. Today all one need to do to get massive airplay is to come up with the most immoral lyrics and voila Nigerians will rejoice. NBC continue the good work, it's time the Nigerian music industry is sanitize. |
fernandoc: thunder fire NBC...jobless pple"Stupidity most be taken over you". |
GEJ has a point! But as the number one citizen in the country, the fight against corruption starts with HIM!. I wonder why they didn't ask him what measures he put in place to tackle corruption and curb it. |
DSTV, Discovery Channel and National Geographic/Nat Geo Wild LOCAL TV, Channels TV. |
Sincere 9gerian: If this govt is not building infrastructure it is creating ENABLING environment for private sector to thrive with multiplier effect in job and wealth creation.Creating an enabling environment you say? When majority of the private sector run of diesel generators thus polluting the environment. What is enabling there?. The fresh air you speak of is only for the political elite, not the common man! |
All I ever seem to hear these people talk about is more jobs, more jobs and more jobs and the reality of it all is that these jobs are given to those who know one or two people in key sectors in the economy while the common sits in his house jobless!. Nepotism at its peak! |
Where there is war there is profit. Where there's war, there's death, poverty, strife and unspeakable crimes... Is it really that hard for leaders to lead well! |
Sincere 9gerian: Another senseless post from an airhead.Look who's talking!!! |
Nora okon: envisaging the impeachment of GEJ based on recent happenings in the party is equal to exaggerating. what is presently happening in the party is not new to political parties in the country. it goes a long way in showing how strong our democratic institution has become, where you have people with divergent interests, ideologies and beliefs. after all, we disagree to agree. so i believe the party will take care of its internal wranglings.Another magnificent bullshit! "The agree to disagree bullshit". When have our political parties espicially now ever have ideals and beliefs? All they have is interest based on either ethnic/tribal or religious affiliations! With the superior being for their own benefit! |
Majority of you guys here forgot that most of these APC politicians were once members of the Pdp! Just because a wolf changes its pack doesn't mean that it's not a wolf!. Be it APC, PDP, APGA, ANPP or whatever political party, the typical Nigerian politician doesn't have the interest of the common man at hand! They only see the common man as "means to an end" nothing more, nothing less!. |
Obiagelli: With the recent crisis in the pdp, and 26 senators declaring support for Atiku's faction, the President risks impeachment. From my calculationOn what ground would GEJ be impeached? I can think of a few but I'll love to hear yours... |
Principle Eight:Monopolize the major commodity Nigerians consume more than petrol, RICE. |
AnodaIT: The tension in the polity is created by people who know they cant win any election through voting. GEJ has reeatedly said that 2015 should be push aside till 2014 so that he can concentrate on the transformation agenda. My good man, election campaign start the moment the winner of the election is announced!. |
This will not be the first time GEJ will be rigging!. He did in 2011, the North to be precise, this was what amounted in the post election crises that claimed the lives of many corps members who took part in the election!. |
Obiagelli: SOMEONE SHOULD REMIND ME IF JONATHAN HAS MET ASUU. #priorities Nigeria don suffer.Believe me you GEJ and the whole political elite are not bothered about ASUU or whatever problems Nigeria has, all the care about is the seizing of political power by hook or by crook. Remembering what kwame Nkruma said "seek ye first the political kingdom and all other things shall follow". This is the modus operandi of the Nigerian political elite!. |
Longeria: Bunch of fools, they should add the fifth one, don't sleep with your wife. It's painful to realize that Amaechi and co who are desperate to stop the president getting second term are all in thier second term as governors. When I listen to people like you talk I just can't help but smile at the magnificent bullshit you spew!. Tell me in the history of Nigeria when have the people ever decided?. Elections in Nigeria from 1960 has more often than not been rigged and rigged and rigged... So what are you yapping about?. |
jaiykem: Nigerians shld watch it. seem like a coup. they're using new pdp as d engine 4 what will benefit only their selfish desires and not d masses . GEJ has d right 2 recontest. So according to you GEJ and his bunch of incompetent sychopants are not pursuing their own personal interest eh?. |
Things fall apart and the centre can not hold!. |
