DNSPro: Despite Epik's contributions to this thread, we have recorded little to no sales report from there. It wouldnt be bad idea to try them out guys or are you having problem on how to list your domain name there? The idea of having contact them through Facebook for external domains to be added is a turn off for me. |

My first two sales were from tweaks of what people sold and reported here. Let's quit the self deceit of not getting inspired by sales reported here, but the discussions. If it was about just discussions, like someone has said already, this thread would have long died. Sales report(s) is the grease, the oil keeping this thread alive. End of! |

priceaction: I am telling you that glo is the most abused network and highly blacklisted. There are many sites, at times, glo will never open, just put it on proxy, it will. Even recently, my old glo opened porkbun during their promo but new one am using not at all. I have to open ticket here and there and chatted with their rep, until I found out it was I. P problem. They couldn't do anything until I used proxy. Though 3rd day, it started opening. I am telling you from experience not from heresay. @2sexycom which network are u using? On proxy, is it the same?. How do you activate proxy please? I can't seem to open so many sites |

alawi5k: I don't understand this mail from DAN. Promxy94, Ayorich, Branduche, 2sexycom, fergusen, cyriletifit, iykepromotions and my fellow newbies.
Did outbound last week and sold the name after one month of purchase. The domain is less than 60days. Communication is supposed to be a two-way thing, if you fail to understand what they've sent you, you have the right to reply saying you do not understand what they imply by " could you please let me know what details you need in order to push the domain name", cos honestly I don't either. |

I know that there are a lot of scammed out there... So I want be careful. You really need to read this thread from page 1 to fully understand how it works |

sammchuck1: *I want to start with 100k. *Can I see like 40k profit on a monthly basis? *Whats the worst case scenario in this business? Slow sales or the domain actually dropping in value(is that even possible)? 100k is a lot to start with, not sure so many people started with that much. But in this game, there are no absolutes, no guarantees, no one can assure you of 40k ROI monthly. This is because you can earn more than that amount in a month, heck, you can triple your 100k in just one sale. Again, you could go months without a sale. Domains, like real estate appreciate in value especially if they're very good names, so they don't depreciate in value. I'll advise you devote quality time to reading this thread and then you can get some training from the boss man (iykepromotions), then you'll be equipped to delve in with your capital Cheers. |

ikhalyfah: Yes, that's only what u have to pay. A very good bargain. 1. U are running away from less reputable registrars 2. U are saving whole lot of naira. A real lot of it! I owe you some chilled bottles of heineken and asun whenever we meet |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by Josmila(m): 2:05pm On Jan 15, 2020 |
ikhalyfah: Yes, for epik is $8+, but it increases 1yr to your domain life, so it's just as though u have renewed@ 8$ instead of that $15 or so ur current (promo) registrar is charging Oh wow, didn't know this.. Again, you're saying you only get to pay let's say $8 only which is the transfer cost? If that's the case, that's such a good bargain |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by Josmila(m): 2:00pm On Jan 15, 2020 |
ikhalyfah: A little something.. Always try to maximize your profit by taking advantage of promos. Yes, these registrars giving promo have high renewal fees. But i think you can register at $1-$3 with them, when domain is due to expire u can transfer to a bigger registrar at $8-$9 which most of them increase one year to the domain's life. Thereby spending $10-$11 on each name instead of the regular $16-18 Do the maths and see how much u can save in naira..
I just checked and noticed i have registered 71 names since I started, ALL AT THE COST OF $261, average of $3.7/name
During renewal i intend to move all names i wish to renew to Epik, at cost of $8+/name which grants me 1yr additional on each name...
Correct me if I'm wrong please! Isn't there a cost associated with transfers or so I thought |

U1: Iykepromotions, 2sexycom and anyone experienced in this area, I wish to know which works better when contacting end users: Buy it Now (BIN) price or Make an Offer?
Please I need guidance. I'm just being pulled between the two and I am confused. Which one promotes better sales conversion? Thanks. In my little experience, I think BIN works better for domains the buyers won't have to 'break a bank' to make the purchase, some will still go ahead to make their offer despite having a BIN in place. Again, with BIN, you've somewhat placed a ceiling on the price, can't be higher. BIN in my opinion would better promote sales conversations |

iCauseTrouble: Oga, if you don't have something sensible to say, you can off your phone and go back to bed. I asked sensible people to contribute and not Mr. Know all like you. Honestly, that might have come off a bit brute, but he made salient points. SH and other marketplaces forbid you list domains they've accepted on other marketplaces. I think we should learn to stick to those rules, no matter no hard it seems. Again, I'll advise you find a way of redirecting him to SH to make the purchase by way of reducing the price a little bit. Congrats in advance |
Business › Re: What To Do To Make Money Online? by Josmila(m): 9:14am On Jan 03, 2020 |
NkShallom: I think, instead of accepting his offer on afternic, reduce the price to say $1900 on SH, insist on $2000 BIN on afternic. He would probably then buy from SH. by so doing you still made your Sale and didn't break SH rules..
#Imo I second this. Let's not encourage him to flout the rules please. |

0ubenji: is there anyway i can revoke a transaction on from netsol on my debit card? I was charged $113 for nothing, despite turning off my autorenewals for domains. I'm most certain you were charged for renewals. Open a ticket and ask for refunds, follow that up with a chat with the customer service guys, stating in strong terms that you need a refund, they'll oblige. Netsol $1 promo was what the igbos call "onyinye mammywater" |

AwesomeDuru: Well said boss, I hold these same views too. I'm very skeptical when it comes to registering names with 'very cheap' registrars with their mouth watering promos. I saw enough in the hands of Netsol with their $1 promo to last a lifetime!
Before I reg with a registrar, I first check the cost of their renewals. If it's reasonable enough or almost same price with reg fee, then I go ahead. Experience has taught me that awoof really runs Belle.
Even now, I have names with dynadot, Namesilo, Namecheap, Porkbun (my favorite), etc. Awoof dey really bele. Netsol? Never again |

eddy42: Sorry about that Netsol wahala oo, i think you should buy international call bundle with your local line and call them at same time I don't think it's advisible to leave your card details with any registrar to avoid such stories He doesn't even need to burn money calling, chat the agents up, open a ticket requesting for refunds, they'll oblige. Again, be sure you actually have auto-renew turned off for all your domains, so you get to decide which one(s) to renew |
