Are you kidding me? Don't tell me you are this petty and idle. I blame ASUU
I no fit blame you sha since you the first to comment.... |
Thanks a lot bro, appreciate your response, let's see if the change of fluid will make any difference, or may be the car is due for a change afterall I don use am now for over 3years |
^^^ thanks bro, but do you mean changing the transmission oil alone will put an end to these problems, what about the speedometer issue, or is that another system entirely? will appreciate more responses from the pros in the house. God bless |
Thanks for all your responses, really appreciate it, d mechanic used one transmission oil, I don't usually see it in open market; the brand name is valvoline dextron II, after replacing the gear initially it was ok until I started observing a surge/jerk anytime I shift to reverse, the Drive was ok then. He then advised we serviced the gear filter but unfortunately we couldn't get same valvoline atf so he mixed it with Holt atf said the mixture won't affect anything. After the servicing, there was no improvement, I managed it for a while until it stopped on my way out this last week. This time, gear wasn't changing to 2, meaning you can only drive within your area, the jerk/surge also extended to the drive. We scanned the car and according to the technician, its one sensor (am sorry I still don't understand the function of that sensor) that's causing the trouble; I changed the sensor immediately, now the car doesn't change to 2 until rpm reaches 4000 but changes normally there after and the speedometer has stopped working too. * am sorry for any typo error, difficult typing on the phone |
Hello house, what could be the cause of a recurring gear problem in camry 2001. I changed the transmission system dec 2012 and not up to 6months its already showing signs of packing up again |
^^^ have not got mine as well. Any reason for the delay |
Just five comments and its already on fp, chai, nairaland nd gossip. Anywayz, like the usual norm, am also getting close to breaking the record, am sure you know what am talking about, gradually, I will hit my target before year ends. |
Seriously, am enjoying the argument in another thread about Miss Abachas rant on Prof Wole Soyinka, I would like the argument to continue here, I don't care if the mods ban any of you for foul language etc just be constructive. Who is a better writer between Prof Wole Soyinka and Prof Chinua Achebe? |

mjay: Hi all, I was beaten and bitten by the meltdown of recent past and have since ran away from the stockmarket, though I still have some remnants with some two cscs accounts, i dont even bother to pick my dividend slips from the box anymore. Anyway am considering venturing back into the system for whatever I dont know, just that my hunch tells me it is an emerging market that holds some future possibilities. My take now is that I want to test the waters with 500k to 1mil. To the consistent gurus in the house, where and in what stocks will you advise me to take positions? And I hope I am taking the right steps. So house I need your experienced opinion I am presently green, but am studying some analysis presently. Thanks for your counsel. My 2cents for you bro, run away from insurance and low cap stocks, the usual big cap stocks are still dere for ur take and also agricultural stocks have been doing well lately. Do your research well, use website like www.proshareng.com, www.moneyhub.net, www.cashcraft.com etc to get further details and analysis and there are plenty gurus in this forum and another one www.stockmarketnigeria.com that can help out. Happy Investing |

What is it with UACN? They acquire a company and the stock start doing well....atleast maybe for the short term; it was livestock before and now portpaint |
otokx: because you did not show us any fundamentalsBut livestock didn't have any fundamentals either except for investors interest in agricultural stocks and market sentiment on UACN as a company cos of it history over a long period of time. I may be wrong in my judgement but I do know great news like this affect NSE. My 2cent, I be otondo for stockmarket |
^^^ why do you say so? |
UACN acquires 51% equity stake in portland paints and product plc. ( Source - www.proshareng.com ) Guys, what do you think about this news, this kind of announcement was made on livestock some few months and we can all see the performance. Moi wan order PPNL tomorrow oo |
Na blood full market today oo, well its good for me, my livestock target @N3.00 is still feasible#smiling |
Seriously, the Nigerian team is just an average team with no special talent, am sure we got other good players to use but nepotism, favouritism, tribalism, etc is the bane of nigeria as a whole. Even if Musa or Gambo isn't playing well, Keshi can't substitute them. We need to bring in some of players from under 20, the likes of haruna lukman, rabiu ibrahim, chrisantus, Ajagun etc are needed in this team By the way, why am I still up dis late ![]() |
Proshareng stock picks for 24/6/2013 are transcorp, NPFM (don't know what this company is into, Maybaker, Neimeth and ABC transport.. All @ur discretion |
