That's wonderful, happy for you bro, I pray that fire doesn't go down IJN, are u a full member of the church now ?
yes and my bro has joined me...# good fruits |
That's good bro, what influenced your decision to join mfmcf ? Family or church ? Was it fire packed ?
it was their hall cord, Bro Amos who was pestering my life so i decided to visit just to please him.... I went very early and observed the service. I made up my mind not to go back but there was something about the place that dragged me back the next sunday. I was struck by the humility of the president pastor Felix( very rare among campus presidents) and the teaching ability of the VP pastor Sam so i continued going much to the dismay of my bro and my friends... At the end of the section this same hall cord dragged me to lagos to attend the national conference. The first message by the G.O dr Olukoya was 'the lord is a hard man'... For the first time ever i heard the voice of The Lord as he was speaking. I was deeply terrified by what the Lord said to me and by the time the altar call was made i was at the front.... I rose up a new person with fire in my bones. Then and only then did i realise the reason why God sent me to the fellowship. |
I worshiped in mfmcf uniben.... I miss those services especially friday sevices. I was about to join Cunifes cos my brother and my friends were there but God had other plans for me and looking back now i don't regret it. #christ the author of love pour on us your fire. |
coputa: I anticipated 70 percent of the response in this thread,Nigerians are very easy to predict, when it comes to public discurse...we as a people never valued our people, and if others appreciates them,we will start making noise about it.They told us why she was given that degree..if past first ladies before her did what she is doing,Nigeria will be a better place for us to live..someone even mentioned ASUU strike..the strike was bent on the problem created by the military and not Gej,yet we refused to remove the log from our eyes because of hate politics, let it be known that being educated or possesion of intellet does not rest on your ability to speak the english language fluently as up coming economies of the world dont speak the english language,we should learn to think outside the box and appreciate what we have.so that's why he created understaffed and ill-equiped new univ so he can have something to answer for? Hello, the contentious agreement was signed by Yar/Gej administration not by abacha. |
Promhize: Are you confused? This was your post that I replied to;hahaha u think u can insult your way out? I wont humour you. Answer my question. Explain the mystery to me ? What is the rational behind collecting a honorary doctorate from a foreign univ when your private univ are on a 4 mths strike. What point is she trying to prove? Explain( i'll understand if you can't give coherent answers. To be on strike affects the brain) |
Promhize: Are you confused? This was your post that I replied to; |
Promhize: Are you confused? This was your post that I replied to;when i was in school, dumb students used to use INSULTS to divert attention from their short comings... ASUU strike will do you a world of good. And by the way u still haven't answered my question? Explain the contraption. |
Promhize: Ask Mr President and by the way ur claim is laughable with no proof.. I should ask mr President why his wife went to a PRIVATE univ abroad and came back with a honorary doctorate when his PUBLIC univ are on strike? Hmm... I can't see him to ask so am asking you since you support the contraption but am sure you have no reasonable answer ? If you do feel free to enlighten me. |
Promhize: ASUU is on strike but is she your president, she holds no political office my friend, Maryam babangida made that title, First lady, popular.she holds no political office but has one billion allocated to her yearly. Hmm... Tell me word. Nigerian students are on strike yet the first family receives honorary doctorate from a foreign university What message are they trying to pass across? That is what she has done wrong. |
finally, pastor olukoya heeded to God's warning.... This has always been the Mfm standard @ worker level so nothing new. Thankfully it has been extended to the congregation. |
Alfa Seltzer: It's for you to show us where he attended his higher education studies. Until you do, he remains an illiterate who doesn't know anything about botany that he was talking about.i expected you to admit you were wrong but like all satanists you are simply not man enough |
Alfa Seltzer: I think that luke was being sarcastic.you think..... And i thought you loved using scientific facts? How does thought equal knowledge? So because ''you think'' we should believe you. Show me proofs. Look i think your fellow satanist should recall you home because the more you exist the more you defeat their plans. |
Alfa Seltzer: Tell us why jesus refused to go to school? what has his illiteracy benefited us?hahaha.... You really are ignorant. So ignorant that you are of no use to satan. My Lord and Saviour may not have attended your satanic school(how can knowledge himself go to school SMH) but it is on record that he debated the learned people of his day and they marvelled at his knowledge.. Luke 2 vs 46-47. |
I would have loved to answer your ridiculous post but i just cant be bothered. So i will spare you the love of my God as you said..... You are doomed for destruction except you repent |
tmaigari: The day Nigerians change their habit of abusing power installations is the day power will be stable, you can not have people running industrial equipment in residential areas and expect a transformer specified for residential areas to work properly. This is like over loading your car always and ending up with so many problems, I am saying this from experience where I have seen a power hungry bread factory and printing presses in Lugbe federal housing behind Total fueling station Abuja starve the entire area of power. I believe the Government needs to setup a crack team against these saboteurs of power or else this will be a total waste of effort generating power that can't be consumed. The truth of the matter is, consumers of power need some discipline or we remain where we are. We must stop being cheats when it comes to power, if you are industrious move to industrial areas and allow residential power equipment to serve their recommended load.its true that it is advisable to site heavy duty machines in industrial areas but the bread industry and the printing press machinery can as well use the residential transformer without affecting other residents if the method of starting such machines is changed to either the direct-on-line starting or the auto transformer starting... Major saw-mills are beginning to comply with this IEEE regulation. |
Christmysaviour: Comments like these has really made me believe Nigerians will never rise again. I am not a PDP supporter though but that doesn't mean when we see truth we should use likeness and hatred to cover it. What Dan Obi said is the truth because there are videos to prove that Dan Obi is right and I believe ya'll hasn't seen it. So its wrong to argue or make comments on matters ya'll have no idea about. I have seen the documentary.i seriously pity you. If at your age you can still be brainwashed by the PDP. The intelligent PDP officials basing their claims on printer's error in one of the birthday pamphlets quickly rushed to hold a press conference to demand for Osho's resignation. And how do you explain the no on bini chiefs flocking to govt house to beg that their brother igbinedion be allowed to come out of hiding as he is currently wanted by the govt and the police for trying to interfere in the elections. The Pdp plans to rig were foiled by the smartness of Baba Adams. Did you hear Anenih's voice during the elections or Samuel Ogbemudia? Yet the stupid Esama decided to dare the Comrade. When he comes out of the Oba palace where he is hiding he will be arrested and jailed. |
windows8: Hmmm, woke and saw that this topic made front page,I opened it all I could see was some guys slating me Fø̲̣̣я̅ saying the truth, some were going to quote M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ last post about searching Fø̲̣̣я̅ job, and what makes me laugh the more was that some said I was a thug. No matter what u all say, it can not dispute the fact that I attended one of such meetings. I used to be a DJ in auchi edo state where I was schooling, that was how I found M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ self dere cause we were hired to provide public address system, they respected osho baba when he came in but I could remember some harsh words anenih used when he was giving his address. Some of you guys here should always ask before slating someone negatively, I dnt do politics and am not interested, am happy wit what osho baba is doing in edo state, those of u going to check someone post and slat him or her should be ashamed of yourself, u know nothing and will forever know nothing. Always ask so that tins will be explained to u rather than accused someone negativelyi dont doubt the fact that he visited the PDP because he also attended an ANPP meeting at Ekenwan road in 2004. He was looking for a platform to contest on and at such consultations with different parties is normal. The only abnormality is Metuselah trying to distort facts for his own clandestine purpose |
Lampsy: Degree notable persons lyk Gani,SoyinkaJimoh,Falana,Dele Momodu..etc graduated wityou left out James Ibori or is he not notable? |
van bonattel: Load of rubbish, marriage have no defined formular. Two total strangers can meet from a one night stand and later marry one week later and stay happily married till death. No long thingz......give an example of such happy marriages that resulted from a one night stand and i will start taking you serious. |
Two total strangers can meet from a one night stand and later marry one week later and stay happily married till death. No long thingz......
can you give an example of such marriages ? I dont think so. Think before you post. |
This is 2013 people. Come on. Wake up. Which yeye demon. Abegi. Why is it only in 3rd world countries that people always cry demons/spiritual attacks. It does not take Isaac Newton to deduce the reason. POVERTY and ILLITERACY. I ask again. Do we serve a different GOD? Why Oyinbo no dey get these problems? If we can stop ridiculous beliefs like : killing twins because they thought they were demons, killing albinos, thinking sickle cell children that die are witches, etc, why is it so hard to also accept that some of these things you dwell on are self inflicted and nothing but your BRAIN playing games on you. Are you aware that a mad man thinks every other sane person is crazy? The BRAIN is a powerful tool and can manipulate a lot of the things we see/experience/understand. Wake up. The only demon worrying you and your sister is lack of enlightenment.
and who told you that oyibo no get this problem? Try google and you will be amazed |
solomon111: Fashola is evidence of your tribal superiority?Enugu...hahahahahahaha |
manny4life: Look sir, when the house a bill like you say, it says the number who supported vs opposed the bill, right? Yes, they say the house passed the bill, however, if there are 36 members of the house who passed the bill, how will they say it? All 36 members passed the bill without opposition. Prime example, the anti-gay bill, the HOUSE passed it without ANY opposition.all govs have equal votes regardless of state size |
Fashola as the co-chair of the NGF, and very outspoken (or so I thought), if he had an initial objection both at the executive council and NGF, they will not come out and say what he hadn't agreed, better yet, they would have noted his objection. Will it be the first or the last that he's opposing an idea at NGF, so why this one? You're here asking me for minutes, the news is out there na, let him go contest it that he objected if he knows he's innocent.
its clear that you have no knowlegde of how organizations work. If the senate passes a law does it mean that there were not those against it? The diffrence between that of the senate and the NGF is that while any law passed by the senate is legally binding those of the NGF are not. |
solomon111: This is bullshitt.make it a habit to read newspapers. Information is your personal responsibility not that of others. Make effort.... |
manny4life: Well you can see my post above yours.have you ever seen a meeting where there are no dissenting voices? The fact that the pdp has more members means they will win when the matter is voted. Any body that says 36 govs voted for it is simply deluded. The right language is to say that the govs forum agreed not 36 govs. And by the way the decisions of the govs forum is not legally binding which means you can dissent. Govs fashola and adams have taking advantage of this and it is well within their rights to do so. |
Sahara crew barged into an event uninvited. If they were turned back they would have spewed rubbish about the church. Those security men were over zealous. They dont take nonsens even mfm members are not spared. i have witnessed them first hand when i visited mfm prayer city in june last year but their method seems to be working effectively as the security within the city is very tight with 5 mins patrol. I remember asking myself when nigerian police will be this good. They work for a private security firm and are not church members. |
The pastor tells u 'u ar in a battle, warfare' d devil is in trouble... So dey use energy to pray... Gra gra christians... Dats y i love christ embassy... Simple prayers!
simple prayers with half nude women. I love that church.wonder what would happen if they begin to shake their bodies while praying |
Some peoples ignorance baffles me. What is bad belle in the statement made by the provost for christ's sake? He said the institution is not in agreement with Professor Ibehs claim FOR NOW!!!!! reason being because the university was not carried along meaning that some protocols have to be observed in order to verify the claims made by the scientist. For some reason some people have misconstrued that statement to mean that Prof Ibeh did not bribe the "University cabal". Some of you on this nairaland are just a big temptation. It's like You want people to insult you for refusing to use your brains. What responsible institution will back a staff member for claims that have no proof? If so research or academic staff of the institution can come out and claim they have discovered how to get to heaven or El dorado and the University should back them up because the individual is a staff member. Common people use ya head!! The provost even took the time to explain that the school would like to take credit for the |
Does he need approval from the College to carry out independent research? So, make he carry dem along so that at the end na we go dey hear different stories. All na politics, abeg!
so true. There is no rule that say you cant carry out research in private labs. The man must have done all his analysis outside. Infact when last did uniben do any in house research or analysis. The same faculty where we spend about 50000 naira to do our lab analysis outside. If Prof Ibeh can prove his work and open it to external testing abroad the better for humanity. It is obvious that his work will not make headway in corrupt Nigeria. BTW i thought prof iyawe and ibeh were friends afterall prof iyawe single handedly decided the deanship election in his favour.... |
ibukun obi: i am a jehovah's witnesses, over one hundred years ago, we have been liberated from that bondage of noisy prayer pattern, we live quetly and demonds dont come to our place of worships, and we dont cast out demonds that does not exists.demons dont come to your place of worship ?? That's the best joke i've heard this year. Hahahahahaha |
dayokanu: The bible says we should pray quietlywhere ? |
