Romance › Re: The Bitter Truth For Struggling Guys In Relationships by jpphilips(m): 1:51pm On Aug 27, 2015 |
Rapmoney: Ignore this post if you are too lazy to read, please!!!
In life, there are two types of people as regards human reasoning; the idealist and the realist. People who hold idealist view of life see events that happen around them as 'how things ought to be but are not' while people who hold realist view of life see events that happen around them as 'real facts or occurences' and should be accepted without pretending as if we didn't know that this is how things truly are!!!
With deep thoughts, I write this post. I am not afraid to face criticism; neither am I afraid to express my thoughts. I am a realist. I believe that events that happen around us as humans are real!!! Often times, things 'ought to be' in a particular way but in reality, they are not; so it becomes necessary to accept bitter and painful facts! Especially, when they are real!!!
We live in a material world and whether you like it or not, material things play a lot of important roles in our everyday life. As a struggling guy, loving only one girl whole-heartedly might end up leaving you with numerous emotional scars! . This is due to the high level of emotional pressure you would put in the relationship and the possible outcome of getting dumped, especially, when you don't have the resources to spice up the relationship. A struggling guy with low funds would find it difficult to spice up his relationship even when he has the intention to do that . In order not to lose the girl, he might start being too protective/desparate and pester the girl with phone calls, texts messages and numerous 'I love you's' in order to be assured that he is still loved! Common!!! That's trash! Are you begging to be loved? After displaying all these, she would dispise you and might even dump you because the truth remains the same...relationships without trips, surprises and outings are as boring as hell!!! Pretend at your own risk!!! . If truth be told, all young ladies want the good things in life, even those that put up what I call 'social media good face'. You cannot obtain total loyalty from a girl when you are lacking! Don't make the mistake of trying to force her to be loyal; you cannot!!!
Women, sometimes need to feel jealous that their man could be taken anytime by another woman. This can put them back on track when they 'backslide' romantically...but this can only be made easy when you have the resources. She knows fully well that ladies will not flock around you if she leaves you today or tomorrow. Don't love just one lady if you are still on 'struggling mode' . The love pressure you would mount on the relationship might make her get fed up quickly with you and eventually get your ass dumped painfully! Again, I am a realist and I am telling you that sooner than later, your ass will be dumped if you don't have the resources to 'oil' the machines of relationships!
As a struggling guy, you should buckle or lace your shoes and tighten your belt very well. You must set your priorities right. There is what economists call 'scale of preference'. What is on top of your scale of preference? Is it your education or career? Or is it trying to please a girl with your meagre earnings all in the name of seeing her pleased with you? Do you want to waste your youthful years trying to please a girl that might end up being married by another dude, who was probably hussling seriously, while you were doing your usual lovey-lovey? Book of Ecclesiastes says 'Money answereth all things'. Take note, 'all things' and not 'some things' . Take the pains now and strive to be comfortable and you will avoid the painful experience of trying to please a girl!!! The love between a man and a woman is not AGAPE LOVE, let us stop deceiving ourselves!!! It is not the type of love described in the Synoptic Gospels and in the Epistles of Apostle Paul...it is called EROS and it costs something!!! Yes, the eros love goes for something; it doesn't come with nothing and that's the bitter truth we all need to accept
Good morning everyone! let me tell you a few things about you; **You are very far from being wealthy, hence you have no idea how the rich think and live. The closest you are to fortune is serendipity by virtue of yahoo boy or a beneficiary of sold family assets. You don't sound like you have any idea where real money is made. ** You are a victim of "mgbajiaka" I can smell that feeling from a distance. ** Due to your social disadvantage, you are basically into extremely hungry girls d reason u re feeling funky with an opinion not fit for humans. ** You are living with a social disadvantage like being crippled by poliomyelitis or you are ugly. sorry bro, accept my condolence. |

And this man calls himself a Bishop?
Its both Parties that need to be blamed not just women.
Men for being unfaithful and also women as well but women for wanting material things before anything else.
You cant blame the other party when they are both at fault.
Men say they dont want Virgins as wife but yet make fun and degrade women that are not Virgins.
U guys can never be satisfied.
I swear to God. Am sick an tired of hearing/ seeing this shit everyday.

Princewell2012: Yes, what your wife did was wrong since you have confess she is a virtuous woman, then forgive her and move on with your marriage. I don't advice you to look for another woman that could be very dangerous. I don't know if you get what i mean? So pls don't go there. Therefore i advice you to go for adoption, you can go to a distance place and adopt as much as you can, then while at it still waiting for your wife, you don't know what can do. So many have testify to this. Because of our eagerness to have a child of our own, has made our wives to sleep with pastor, alfa, and native doctors in order to satisfy their husbands. And you ended up carrying another mans child. The devil has use it to destroy many homes. thats why we have bad boys and girls around this days. But when you adopt a baby anywhere, then the hands of the Lord we be with you because of the baby and he will surely bless your marriage abundantly. Pastors we never tell these. And you and your loving wife will live peacefully, joyfully and God may decided to see your faithfulness and blesses you with one. What i have just told you is a secret, that only the wise can understand. forget about weather you are Africa or not. am also a minister of God. gnwaneri@ymail.co What choice do you think she has if not to be virtous at that age? Wouldnt it be better you define "virtous' in your own words? Never mind that the virtous woman lied about the most important thing in her marriage. It really bafffles me when I hear people think that God has no good reason to have bestowed on us "common sense". Perhaps we should run to God for everything. |

kikelomojessy: OP, I know it hurts cos the age differnce is to much. But let's see it dis way, if you happened to be the one seeking her forgiveness wudnt u want her to forgive u so that both of u can continue as before.
I tink she must hav been a very beautiful woman for her age not to had shown (late 50's ). And u neva bother to know how her feminine side was doin ( irregula menstral period etc)
My advice wud be that u sit down with her and talk tins out, u can adopt (its not always bad to adopt, afterall is not all parent dat is proud to call dir biological kids dir own) or wait and seek God face. He alone gives children.
I hav witness a virgin lady that got married and didn't hav a child till after 7yrs. And hav seen older women givng births like Hebrew women. There some situations where men take out a second wife or mistress to bare a child but the child did not live long enuf to bless his parents.
Pls Go down on ur kneels and ask God for direction. Pray with ur wife and wat ever decision both of u decides on will be the best.
You said she is a wife material and u love her. So do Wats best. Lol |

Webbet: There are many cases of incident and accident in the construction sites even in the offices as a result of not adhering to safety precautions. Below are 10 golden rules to help us work in safely.
1. work planning: Before commencing any task, it is worthwhile to adequately state the task procedures and associated hazards.
2. Work permit: in oil and gas sector or any construction site, it is advised that all personnel should make sure they have their work permit before carrying out any task. work permit is a document that states down the procedures and risks associated to a task.
3. Toolbox talk: this is very sacrosanct in ensuring safety of work. personnel should indulge in toolbox talk to learn safety practices and precautions.
4. Collective protective equipment: All personnel should make sure they wear their full or complete protective equipment before embarking on any task.
5. Scaffolding should be checked: those working on height should make sure that the platforms they are working is properly pulled together to avoid falling from height. when working on height Lifeline should be connected above and behind the personnel.
6. Personal protective equipment must be in integrity: each task has it own PPE. appropriate PPE must be worn completely before embarking on a task.
7. Specific training: special training should be embarked to be deemed fit before undertaking any task. Don't do what you are not trained for.
8. Housekeeping and work place condition should be checked: After completing any task, housekeeping should done. housekeeping could mean the arranging of files, the removal of any material capable of causing harm from the work site.
9. Unsafe conditions should be reported: this is also called (YOU SEE YOU ACT) any condition with the potential of causing harm should be reported to the safety officers, this will help ensure save life.
10. muster point: in times of emergency or drill, workers are advised to gather at the muster point.
11. add yours Lol |

LastProphet: I wish I had enough time I would have taken my time to write you a worthy reply since you sound educated at least. now first off I am not Ibo, hausa or yoruba and have no desire to be any so listen very well:
1) Nigeria did not start the war, Ibos started it. Kaduna Nzeogu did a coup and killed all other regional leaders except his own - Okpara, who was assisted to escape by other igbo officers. The same Nzeogu was the one that slaughtered Ahmadu Bello right in his palace in front of his family adnNO SINGLE HAUSA RAISED A VOICE. it took more than 3 GOOD GOOD WEEKS before Hausas and other tribes began to give the Nzeogu coup a tribal interpretation. Killing Ahmadu is equivalent to killing the Ooni of Ife, Oba of Lagos and Alafin of Oyo together and YET YOU REMAIN UNHARMED FOR WEEKS FOLLOWING THAT. Can anybody try that with any tribe and just get away? It is only Ibos in their natural sense of arrogance that can do such a thing and assume you cant do anything and that was what they paid for.
2) Please this is also documented - Ibos were warned severally both by word of mouth and radio many many weeks before the fighting broke out in the north to leave, any Ibo that denies this must be flogged on his brain. Kaduna radio was used to annouce many many times to Ibos to leave and that they were no longer welcomed YET THE IBOS REMAINED and to make matters worse they even started to ridicule the late Ahmadu Bello, IT IS DOCUMENTED that many Ibo traders started selling caricature photos of the late emir entering hell fire at markets and public places. If you were hausa and you got to market you will be shown the calendar-like paper as the Ibos mocked everyone. This was what led to the unfortunate 'araba' massacre which started in kaduna where my family grew up at the time
3) The single cause of the massacre of Ibos was ARROGANCE OF THE IBOS. If you hear that south Africans want to kill nigerians go there and ask and you will be told by south africans themselves that their problem are Ibos. It is exactly the same thing in Kenya, Ghana, Malaysia, India etc. anywhere you hear nigerians are hated it is because of Ibos, so are south africans also working with hausas? Or Kenyans? only a deluded soul will still continue to blame others and refuse to look inwards.
4) Ibos have a serious problem and it starts with their culture and they need to fix it. you cannot be hated everywhere and it is the fault of others.
5) And lastly it will shock you to know what perentage of nigerians want the Ibos to go peacefully - you will be shocked! But trust our clueless leaders with their slow thinking - nobody wants to be labelled the one that allowed nigeria to divide as if remaining one collosal wasteful entity is an achievement by the way.
6) And to any Ibo listening, I pray you will get your country as fast as possible but mark my words, you will run out of that biafra faster than rocket in less than 2 years of establishing it. I have worked in 3 Ibo states and I have never seen where people of the same tribe hate each other like Ibos except maybe (Edo people) and am waiting for the day Ibos will be at the mercy of other Ibos then we shall see what hell Biafra will become. My only plea to the govt will be that Ibos must not be accepted back no matter how they cry.
NB: However nothing justifies massacre and many hausas are morooons as expected especially the alamjiri ad their day is coming if they dont change their ways. Bokoharam punishment is a startig point for them It took 6 months (January to July) before Danjuma and his group retaliated in 1966. The man who inherited the govt of Nzeogwu's treason Aguiyi Ironsi could not activate the court martial process to finish off Nzeogwu and his group early enough, unlike Obasanjo who rounded off the killers of murtala Mohammed almost immediately.
Educated Igbos clamouring for Biafra lack logical reasoning, to be fair to igbos, I only hear that nonsense amongst their uneducated populace, left overs at Ariaria, Main market, berger, Mazamaza and computer village. The Biafran dream is fuelled by bad governance and a dilapidated educational system, an evidence that 6-3-3-4 system has failed us woefully. Take a time out and listen to that Lunatic Nnamdi Kalu, 95% of his messages are fictions, yet people believe him so dearly.
I just cant wrap it around my mind, where adults refuse to ask the right questions.

chris81964: Jpphilips
Nobody called you a "m0r0n". You said you were not. I have no clue what the devil has to do with this conversation. You are not as informed as you claim.
"Inrush current, input surge current or switch-on surge is the maximum, instantaneous input current drawn by an electrical device when first turned on. Alternating current electric motors and transformers may draw several times their normal full-load current when first energized, for a few cycles of the input waveform" Wikipedia This information is a mouse click away. Your AC and your fridge and freezer have motors in them. People withe generators notice the change in engine sound when these devices kick in. That is the surge. Ignore it at your peril. Your quip about Aba made is rather unfortunate considering that you have not manufactured anything. You might be good at book knowledge, but that is no substitute for real life experience. The picture is of a 1.5 kw system that would shut down (overload) when a fridge was turned on. If the fridge was on when it came on it carried it. It had no surge ability. And it was a mid sized fridge. The fridge consumes about 220 / 230 watts. We installed them and quickly replaced them with units that could surge. Hence a 2 kw low frequency inverter can surge up to 6 kw. Leave the practical knowledge to people who actually do this for a living. My company has installed 23 clients in Ghana and Nigeria, since June of last year. How many have you installed? I hate long irrelevant stories designed to obfuscate people show me a circuit diagram or spec plate/tag behind a refridgerator with the specification you claimed, in case you have forgotten, you said you have seen a 1A rated fridge with starting current of 5A. I want to see it, is it too much to ask? You claimed to have practical knowledge, I hope my demand is practical enough. |
Science/Technology › Re: Beware!!! 5 Reasons You May Regret Spending On Solar Power!!! by jpphilips(m): 6:06pm On Aug 17, 2015 |
chris81964: Your calculation for the generator is wrong. I don't know why you choose to ignore the surge. Your 1A refrigerator can surge up to to 5A. I have seen it happen. You can imagine what can happen with your 2.5A freezer. It will surge to more than your generators capacity. Your 2 kw inverter will power the loads you mention. A 2.2 kva generator will not work. I know from experience. I am not sure why you find it necessary to go the route you have elected to prove that you are more knowledgeable than anyone else. We all are students and we are all learning. We can disagree without being disagreeable. Not to worry a lot of people with 1kva stabilizer have used it with their mid size fridge of 1A, surge or not it works perfect. Please can you show us a pictorial evidence where a 1A fridge surge to 5Amps, guy, you are not talking to a m0r0n, look at the handle once again and I hope you will choose your evidence carefully. 1hp AC starts with 5.2A (starting current) runs on 4.6A (running current ), then you say an ordinary fridge of 1A will surge to 5A at start ? bros is the fridge made in Aba? Bros you are a technician who knows the truth if you have no ulterior motive, you would have agreed a long time ago. Don't hide behind learning to cheat people we expect that before you come to this platform, you would have done your home work properly. How do you expect people to entrust you with a solar project when you can hardly calculate their actual load, does it make any sense to you? After spending good money and it fails, you will say it is the work of the devil or we are all learning. crap!! |

geesampower: thanks. His mission is visible to the blind. Those who how what we are talking about will find his comments amusing anyway. Such people are inevitable. They will even call you pretending to be clients just to test you and see how you do your business. I will be expecting his call or mail next pretending to be a client. I have met many like him. A man goes to an appliance shop to buy a generator, he asks the generator seller to calculate his load for him, the seller asks, what do you have? ignorant client would answer; 1 mid size fridge, 1 deep freezer, 2 nos 42" flat screen TV, the seller goes thus; 1 fridge is 1000w, 1 deep freezer is 1,200w then 2nos 42" flat screen TV are 200w each. your total load is 2,600w therefore you need a 3kva generator. price 175k(Japan ).
In reality;
A modern mid size fridge is rated 1A, A modern deep freezer is rated 2.5A, 2 nos 40" flat screen are rated 0.9A each so total load is 5.2A.
The appropriate Generator for this victim is a 2.2kva generator of 8A. price 110k (Japan), because of his ignorance, he will have to pay 175k plus the extra fuel consumption throughout the life of a generator he doesn't need. Who profits? the same seller who mis calculated his load.
The same old trick you guys want to use here, I dey laugh!!
power = current × voltage.
DC voltage is 12/24v Ac voltage is 110/220/240.
Voltage is treated as a constant so the only variable is the current measured in Amps. Power can not be the load but current who is the only variable in the equation.
Using power to calculate load is wrong use current. Except there is an ulterior motive, for the records, I can not be your client because I am not a mugu!! |

geesampower: By the way what is it with you and stabilizer. We are talking solar energy, you are talking stabilizer. You seem to forget that the same way an appliance is a load aka resistance to an inverter is the same way an appliance is a load to a stabilizer, do I even expect you to know that? |
Science/Technology › Re: Beware!!! 5 Reasons You May Regret Spending On Solar Power!!! by jpphilips(m): 5:07pm On Aug 15, 2015 |
geesampower: Lol Won't indulge u. Thanks While negating the operational voltage, you went ahead to work on current alone. We could go on with this but I won't. You have not made any point that abolishes the use of watts (power) in load
And I am sure when balancing how much load a battery will power for a certain period, your logic would say we shld leave out voltage and focus on just the amps. Right? This is hilarious. And when considering what a solar panel can power I shld ignore the voltage too right? So a 100w panel that delivers a current of 5.5A is enough to power a deep freezer. Right at least according to your argument, we shld forget about watts (power) and focus on current (amps). So 100w panel is all I need to invert to alternating current at 5.5amp that it generates and I would power 5 freezers using 1amp.
Hope you know this is online. Many will see this around the world. Those who have a foundation in physics or electrical engineering would be perplexed reading this Mention one appliance in our homes that is rated 100w/5.5A? I gave my examples with appliances all of us can verify and you pull out fiction from the bubble of white garment expertise. Anyways, I don't really blame you I blame ignorant people who allow a seller to calculate their load. My arguement is based on the mannerism you calculate people's home appliance load which is wrong. You said A 1000w fridge can not be powered by a 1000w stabilizer, the proof I gave is beyond reasonable doubt, it is up to your would be clients to put your ingenuity to a test, pray you dont fail. |

geesampower: Though your question is off topic. I will oblige you.
I will like to see a true 750w air-conditioner (1hp)
Back to your question. Connecting a 750w air conditioner won't work. The start up of a 750w air-conditioner will most likely be 2000w or more.
A 1kw regulator will never work, I Mean NEVER work with a 1kw rated refrigerator.
You either blow out the fuse, transformer or the overload circuit breaker kicks in to stop the load from damaging the stabilizer. please it is not 750watts but 950w. I guess you have not tried it before that is why you could not see the reason why calculating load in watts is wrong. Let me answer it for you, a 950w Airconditioner connected to a 1000watts stabilizer will fry it instantly even though the rated wattage seems to be "ok", the starting current can be annuled by running the AC first through a switch mechanism that will regulate in micro seconds transferring the load to the 1000w stabilizer after a while, it will still fry it so the starting current theory holds no water in this case. conversely, A 1000w refridgerator will run perfectly on a 1000w stabilizer the reason is simple, A 1000w stabilizer is rated 2.6A while A 1000w refridgerator is rated 1A, you can see clearly that even if the fridge decides to double its starting current, the 1000w stabilizer still have a current clearance of 0.6A. That way no shaking!!. Let us go and apply the same theory on the 950w Airconditioner. The 950w Airconditioner has a strating current of 5.2A and a running current of 4.6A against the 1000w stabilizer of 2.6A. you can see clearly that starting current or not, there is no way the stabilizer will stand a chance. Nigerian technicians make that mistake a lot that is why there are a lot of homes that are powered with oversized generators and inverters. It is still unclear whether the technicians do it to make the client pay more to their credit or the technicians are simply ignorant. When someone says he has a 1hp Ac, dont calculate his load as 1,200w like you erroneously did rather his load is 4.6A -5.2A depending on the make and model. This is not a subject of arguement because all the gadgets we mentioned are owned by people here, it wont be long before they tell you how wrong you are. The actual load in an electrical device is the current rated in Amps and not the Power rated in watts or horsepower. Learn that and move on!! NB: IT IS A CONFLICT OF INTEREST TO ASK THE SELLER OF A GENERATOR OR INVERTER TO CALCULATE YOUR LOAD, CLIENTS BEWARE!!! |

geesampower: That is very possible. It's possible in future for 1hp airconditions consume as low as 100watts, no controversy about variation in the wattage. There are 1hp pumps that consume 750w and some consuming as high as 1000watts. The technology is what makes the difference. Example. A brushed DC motor (BDC) and a Brushless DC motor (BLDC) can both be rated 1hp in what ever application were they function, and though they are both 1hp, the BLDC motor will consume at least 20% less energy than the BDC motor. So saying a 1hp Ac can also consume as low as 950watts is not out of place, it only shows there is a more efficient technology in use in that particular Ac. So that does not in anyway say we shldnt use Watts to calculate energy need. Or what is your point sir? Hope I am not missing anything? Is the watts quoted the controversy or the use of watts in calculation?
Visit the website of LG, samsung and you will discover most of their 1hp Air-conditioners are rated 1200w Since you agree, my next question goes thus; When you connect a 950w Airconditioner to a 1000w voltage regulator (stabilizer) what happens? when you connect the 1000w fridge to a 1000w voltage regulator, what happens? |

geesampower: The load or power rating of any electrical device is the product of the voltage and current the device/appliance/machine/electronic uses. You can't independently use the voltage or current requirement of such to determine what it takes to run it.
That is why watts is used by electrical engineers to rate the power requirement in electrical devices. Do you agree that some 1hp airconditioners are rated 950watts?? And some refridgerators are rated 1000w? do you agree with any of the above? |

geesampower: Air conditioning means 'money'. The reason is 1hp air conditioner consumes about 1200W so 3 will be 3600W plus 1200w for the fridge and freezer + 1000w for lights, tv and the rest. You will need 10kw system at least (better to over size so that over heating does not damage your inverter). For a system u won't need to service in 5 to 8years. This would require at least 16 205ah batteries, 24 250W panels, a 10kw inverter and 80A charge controller. Cost would be about N3m
Without the AC, 3kw system would have been perfect. Starting with N900,000 you can achieve this Why do you calculate the load of appliances in watts? example: You said a 1hp airconditioner is about 1,200w, why do you calculate it that way? |

Stewee: I wonder how you developed such phobia. Nigerian pilots are well trained and highly rated among their counterparts around the world.
My Uncle here in the US is a captain of a B747-400... He has proven himself to become one of the elites. Good for your uncle, doesn't stop me from peeing in my pants once your uncle announces that a Nigerian pilot is cruising us at 30,000 feet. I no fit risk am. Nigerians lack humanities as such should never be trusted with life at any level, professional or not. |

osewanu: Because they don't have enough Nigerian pilots and the new company handling shell has almost 100% local pilots WITHOUT any form of accident whatsoever. Now you suck that up you ignoramus. lol |
