Moheat: It seems yoi don't understand any other grammar apart from this your cretinous fuuktard abi? Every little space you jump at people's post to spew this your newly acquired grammar! Please look for another one as this is getting boring.
mcdokwe: I have been in Nigeria for quite a while and it beats me how a people can be so insensitive, attention seeking and never know when to give up.
I have always tried to stay away from political discus especially when it is difficult to be objective or expect that the other party tries to be, no matter how little.
Oby Ezekwesili is one woman who has had her chance to build Nigeria, how much she was able to impact on the polity is a topic for another day.
She obviously, like most of us, wanted to hold on and remain in the political space and especially considering the fact that her party was still in power. But Uncle Joe wouldn't have any of that and that explains her fighting from the other side (very understandable)
She had done her best in trying to ridicule the Presidency especially using her bring back our girls campaign. Not my business.
She had openly identified with the opposition. Understandable
But she doesn't have the right to choose whom our heroes are.
Our lives are not lived on the TV and might not worth anything to her other than a veiled advocacy which of course would be belated. So we choose our hero who made sure nothing happened to us.
After the conduct of the Presidential Elections, a lot of us, Corp Members, Market women, Christians living in the north (even where they are majority) slept with our eyes open, looked back with every step thrown, left our known residents, closed down our businesses, avoided a lot of places, vowed not to be part of of the elections anymore due to the obvious danger should GEJ do what Oby and those she worked for do just to win an election.
Our lives were in danger, our investments stood the risk of being torched by irate un enlightened followers who do not understand. How a democracy works.
But this man decided not to let all these happen, he didn't use the tools at his disposal to ensure he remains there and when he lost, he didn't cry on national TV wiping up sentiments and threatening to bring down the heavens, he didn't wait for people to act first and cause mayhem which off course would have been replied, he acted first.
He conceded defeat and on time, no protests that would have led to the loss of lives, all the fears were allayed and the known violence that would have followed if the result turned the other way averted.
So GEJ is my hero, and that of a thousand folks whose being and well-being were threatened. He doesn't have to be yours given that you were made irrelevant in his government, he doesn't have to be yours since your loyalty unquestionably lies the other way, he just doesn't have to be your hero but don't tell us whom our hero should be.
#GEJMyHero #GEJdnewface of democratic Nigeria
Chronicles of a looser, I ask you, what options does Jonathan have the moment he lost that election?
It is 4yrs now since the post election debacle, how many of those murderers did Jonathan bring to justice? You were actually scared of Jonathan’s failure not the other way round, if all the murderers were rounded up and sent to jail, will you have cause to worry?
Jonathan failed you in all ramifications and you dare call him your hero?
You are just a brain dead mediocre trying to justify his campaign funds you squandered. Thieves.
Tompolo's company Global west won the NIMASA contract, so far, the FG has paid over $300m and another arms procurement deal, if you guys were sidelined by Tompolo, why blow up NPDC's Pipelines?
Was NPDC the one who awarded the contract? does NPDC own Global West? After this money was paid we still lose over 400,000bbls in the creek instead of thinking of how to refund us for a bad job that was done, you are talking of more money.
Go and blow up Tompolo's house if you guys are serious, by the time Buhari starts action, don't cry like odi people.
Amnesty was a wrong deal, Yaradua would have annihilated these guys a long time.
Can the senate ratify death by hanging for this miscreants.
woodcook: I think you and @zomoears should pick some books and read on what the foreign policies of the international communities are and what they have actually be doing in the past decades.
I am not saying what the op wrote was correct neither can I disprove it but given that you believed that USA would have send in troop into Nigeria soil shows you lot really do not know how the real world works. Please stop twitting and following every celebrity news, invest your time in reading books, meaningful books.
If there were to be crisis in Nigeria those USA troops would first evacuates its citizens, set up a buffer zone for humanitarian crisis, while they use their drones to monitor events on ground. While France will set hers along Cameroonian border since Cameroon happens to be his golden goose.
Sure they would have put pressure on Nigeria government, from sanction to arming opposition and even providing them intels. Maybe down the road after accessing the situation they might assist whomever seems to foster their cause with air raids. But thinking that USA or France will deploy troops to Nigeria is a big joke. With their "lean" military budget and the backlash that came with their last military intervention in Libya etc I doubt if Nigeria is worth stressing over with troop deployment.
I enjoyed the part you mentioned setting up a buffer zone for humanitarian intervention, have you asked yourself where humanitarian funds come from?
A population of 170m in crisis, how much will provide humanitarian assistance for them? The answer will show you that America will do whatever is necessary to stop the crisis from the onset before it gets out of control. Jonathan knew this much, you are the only one deluding yourself.
illiad: You're not only a fool Mr Philip or whatever miserable name you bear. Do I look to you like somewhere you can pour your frustration?
I made salient points on the magnanimity of the character of president Jonathan, that is not in anyway an invitation to be addressed by a mad man like you.
You call drunkenness point? stay away from alcohol.
Billyonaire: Oh yes, Nigeria remains a failed state because we chose to elect illiterates and myopic orangutan-powered, militarily backgrounded never-do-wells.
Aggrieved people's congress wont you say? guess who is their new president? Aggrieved Billionaire of Nairaland.
Billyonaire: Wow, you have to much hate in you. How is life fairing with you little pu.ssy ? Is it so bitter that you can not tolerate others opinions. You are mentally a waste my very good friend.
shizzleStar: I have ABSOLUTELY no problem with buhari fighting corruption. Corruption as been the bane of Nigeria's progress alongside nepotism and ethnicity.
If indeed buhari will fight corruption, but it shouldn't be selective based on region or party lines, in a bid to witch hunt others for some sinister reasons. If that's the case, he is most welcome. Any thing other than that will be fiercely resisted.
You don't have the right to suggest to Buhari where to start fighting from, if you cared about Corruption, why did you vote for Jonathan?
ellechrystal: Johnathan has my respect 100%. I love this guy. God please forgive all those who humiliated him n abused him. Cos he is a man with a good heart. Only surrounded himself with greedy men. God bless u Dr Goodluck, u will never see shame again, ur days outside aso rock will b wonderful and better, the world thought they could humiliate you, but God uplifted u, the Bible says he uplifts the humble, even in d midst of defeat, u were victorious, . He opposes the proud(OBJ) he lost respect before Nigerians while he was saying crazy stuffs about u. Now we know who we had. Am happy to b born in a Generation like this to witness such a great leader. God bless u sir. Bless ur future Generations. I love u Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. U r truly the Azikiwe u r called, he also had a good heart.
I wish he was gentle in stealing public funds, all of us would have voted for him again, don't you think so?
illiad: Our Noble President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan must as a matter of justice deserved, share a nobel peace price with Pope Francis. Pope Francis worked hard to ensure a return of international relations between US and Cuba; Pope Francis also ensured the Western Powers did not rush to the Syrian War, thereby averting a catastrophic outcome. And President Jonathan on his part, had sacrificed his ambition so as to ensure that no Nigerian life was this time lost to bitter politicking and age long tribal rivalry and hegemony. A lot of us are living witnesses to the outcome of nigeria 2011 elections and the promises of ungovernableness and sustained bloodshed as promised by the then loser muhammadu buhari and his muderous supporters which consequently made it impossible for any Youth Corps from southern Nigeria to be posted to northern nigerian from 2011 to 2014 after a huge number of their mates where murdered by supporters of muhammadu buhari. Nor have we forgot the outcome of the kenyan election between Mwai Kibaki and Raila Odinga where a dispute between the two led to a two months war which consequently took away thousands of life. Such catastrophies as was visited on ordinary kenyans by their political leaders and visited on southerners in northern nigeria in 2011 is what Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the magnanimity of his noble heart have averted on behalf of us Nigerians.
You are very crazy!!! Jonathan had no choice, hence couldn't do otherwise. He conceded to defeat is what the law says, when I obey speed limits, do I need a Noble peace prize?
To even think you mentioned this malady is preposterous, some of you are damn crazy. You think the international community is stvpid abi?
When the investigations start I will ask you if you still want Jonathan to get an OSCAR.
Why didn't you recommend Abacha for a Nobel peace prize afterall his death ushered in democracy.
kastonkastrol: seriously I know folks will say am a hater or some other things because they simply can't separate their emotions from their judgement. But I will be really disappointed with buhari if he doesn't probe jonathan, diezani and some corrupt military officers.
Buhari does not have a history of probing his predecessors, I may be wrong this time but I pray I am not, Shagari's case is different because Buhari outed him in a coup d'etat unlike Jonathan where he sailed on popular opinion.
I won't mind a Jonathan placed under house arrest so he doesn't interfere with the investigation of the likes of Madueke and Iweala.
Tompolo, do you have a choice? You will know the difference between a military controlled by a clueless President and one controlled by a General. What are you still doing in Nigeria? oh! I forgot the General has a history of kidnapping corrupt ''abscondees'' from any part of the world. You must vomit the Money Jonathan paid you for securing our pipelines.
charix: Instead of devicing means to put himself and peers in the position of power he is busy rubbing minds and creating avenues to put these old men back. He seems to not know these geriatrics were his age when they first seized power and've chosen not to let go. I do not see his work as praiseworthy in any way.
By the way, 29 is just one year away from 30 - I don't see the difference mentioning he's under 30 unless he's 25 or thereabout.
A good brain just got enthroned, watch out for more. That is what hard work and talent keeps on the table, not a president who recycles his Guardian enemy Ruben Abatti and expect to win. All you Nigerians with great talents home and abroad, this is the time to come out, it is time to send a mediocre like FFK to prison. A campaign media manager who cannot even campaign, Today he is looking for certificate, tomorrow he is looking for date of birth.
Is it not clear that a 29yr old succeeded where Kayode failed? to repackage a man Nigerians rejected 3times is a miracle.
Say no to incompetence and mediocrity. A new dawn is here.
beejayphako: Am sorry, buh it seems u are the clueless one here.. shey u know how much corruption reaps off Nigeria every year? Different sectors oo!!! He knows what he's talking about abeg..
Don't mind the duck, his master has told him that stealing is not corruption, in his books he doesn't know that over 400, 000bbls of crude stolen Daily worth $46m when crude was $115 is enough to bring him out of poverty, let alone the inflated contracts, Patience Jonathan alone is sitting as the highest shareholder in 6 mega companies with juicy contracts.
He doesn't know how far $20b stolen from the NNPC can transform his life. He forgot that Madueke will refund 10b naira she used to hire private jets.
He equally forgot that Jonathan alone is worth over $100m according to Forbes, he forgot that kerosene racket and subsidy took over 2 trillion of our money.
He equally forgot that Asari built a university with his monthly $9m multiplied by 5yrs, same for tompolo's $21m and Ateke's $11m.
He forgot the police pension funds and stella odua, how about Farouk Lawan?
He forgot that Iweala has signed off over 30t in 5yrs.
How about NNDC that does just 1km road with a 50% mark up?
How about $6.8b Jonathan spent on power while we got darkness in return?
How about Jonathan's kabu kabu rail projects?
How about 600b shared monthly to handicapped LGS in 4yrs?
How about the illegal arms deals that cost us over 900b? are you suprised that the fat Generals have gone for certificate hunting?
How about peter odili's 50mw transamadi power plant that cost us $5b? commissioned with a generator?
How about ifeanyi Uba's 25b Access bank funds?
Buhari undermined the figures, I think he has 2yrs budget already from corrupt practices alone.
If Buhari is still who he was, he may recover more money than OBJ recovered from Abacha.
Buhari has the list already, while you think the General is clueless, get ready for war!!!!!!!
zomoears: I beg collect one irish cream! U de reason.
After US stationed marines in Ghana, drone base in Niger, carrier patrolling d waters of West Africa and France(US ally) with troops in Cameroon, do u think GEJ would have ordered any funny line of action? GEJ simply knew too much, more than the scumbag Pdp scallywags would ever know.
Though gallant in defeat, his hand was forced to "accept" this reality. He deserves my respect for this.
I beg of you to stop educating them, we need them to remain m0r0ns for this country to move forward, I leave them to the pastors who knows how to milk their buffoonery. Easter is around the corner! !

bishopjoe02: Nigeria is a Sovereign state. nothing will happen. what have they done to Mugabe. Putin is currently blowing up Ukraine. wat have they done. . Obj wanted third tenure. if Nigerians didn't stand against it.. wat did they do.
You sincerely believe clueless Jonathan and Putin are on the same league of international politics? How some Nigerians delude themselves is pretty amazing, Pls remind us who has a permanent seat at the UN security council with a veto to decide the fate of other nations. The problem here is that Jonathan has limited your political scope to petty politics. What a shame! !
yemi2plus: The kind thunder that will strike the most clueless Governor and less performing Governor in the history of Nigeria, Captain Idris Wada is still doing NYSC programme.
After donating millions to GEJ's campaign, he could no longer pay government staff in Kogi State. Also, let me use opportunity to inform Nigerians that this useless man has refused to release the academic earned allowances of our lecturers in KSU since 2009 despite the fact that central government release some billions to ASUU after the six months long strike they embarked on. Again, you will not believe that lecturers pay more tax in KSU as compare to what is obtainable in other state owned universities. When the strike started last month, can you believe that this same useless man told the school authorises to shut down the school and bring the keys to his office in Lokoja rather that seeing how he could influence the lecturers not to go on strike.
Wada pay our lecturers and allow us return to school. I don forget all the statistics formulas wey I put for head because of your useless strike.
Vote Wada during the elections, rant on Nairaland later, we are used to it already
Jonathan: Helo Sir Buhari: yeah? Helo who is this? Jonathan: haha..baba, dnt u have my my number Anymore? Buhari: I'm sorry, I don't have your number. ..so who am I speaking with?

Jonathan: no time sir
Buhari: OK...but will u like a prison in Abuja or Bayelsa?
Jonathan: Ha daddy! That's why am calling u sir... Plz I dnt want to go to jail... Buhari ::: No wonder but ur prison is sure and u dnt have to worry cos its goin to be fun cos FFK,Fayose,Gani Adams, mama peace,Ngozi & Stella odua ..are all goin with u so don't worry too much, the place is not goin to be a boring place

Buhari will be ridiculing his office if he probes Jonathan, he did it with Shagari, Jonathan will not be an exception, I can't say for Alison madueke though.
jusRadical: You are very realistic. For me, the Niger-delta is a crucial factor in Nigeria.
Many Nigerians are fooling themselves. If there is no Niger delta, will there be a Nigeria?
Many people feel that the oil of niger-delta is good but to lead Nigeria, hell no!!!!!!
People like me who understand the real situation on ground will never be scared of the militants, do you know that those guys don't have upto a thousand fighters, the Bogos Amnesty list was a conduit pipe for cucu, Orubebe and co, which the militants have cofessed to.
Whether Nigerian navy failed "yes" woefully, but do they have the capacity to tame the militants? "YES". The overall reason is corruption. with a corrupt free military, believe me, Asari will become a floating ash.
FreeGlobe: Jonathan was not the president when Boko Haram leader was killed. Almajiri schools, roads, Agriculture were some of the things jonathan did for this ungrateful northerners, now tell me what any northern president did for his people apart from grossly enriching themselves.
You actually bought those lies? mi mi!! i think you need Pampers, whatever Buhari decide for the Igbos, is their business, except there are Igbos in APC, below is the score card of President Jonathan in Igbo land, with over 90% votes in 2011, yet they refused to wake up, a man who has a death wish cannot change his mind because he heard regge music.
FreeGlobe: There is no reason why Nigeria should continue being a united country when we now place ethnic interests over competence and performance. The yorubas have supported with the hausas to return to the status quo of their born to rule. I don't expect any democracy dividend from a buhari presidency for the masses because Buhari didn't even present a manifesto. All he did was sell his ethnicity to his north while the yorubas did for their region. Jonathan has done more for the north than any president from the north and yet tribalism defeated him. I want to ask all igbos to boycott this government and prepare for the next election with awareness and tribalism. Igbos should make sure that they are not shortchanged in the upcoming census. There is no reason why katsina should have more population than Anambra.
MduZA: the guy is so knowledgeable,he exposed your poor level of reasoning..
Please don't help him, in his world of buffoonery he thinks he is a star. A reetard who cannot answer simple questions, have no proof for everything he said want to be taken seriously. Sometimes I wonder why my country is cursed with individuals with sand dust as brain, insha Allah, we have taken the first step already by removing our dumb head of state, perhaps, I will have something to boast with in the next four years, anybody thinking that Nigeria is a country to be proud of, has never experienced any other country in his life.
In a country like South Korea, people like Lezz with his empty head can not earn a career beyond a dog trainer.
