The APC will be the majority in the house in the next dispensation. So passing the budget shouldn't be that much of a bottleneck after finetuning certain grey areas. Abeg October seems like eternity to begin to see any changes. Buhari this is not what we agreed na,you promised to hit the ground running. Lately i've noticed how you've been lowering expectations with anecdotes like 'i am not a miracle worker', 'i can't promise to find the girls', 'i can't promise to end boko haram in two months' etc, etc.
This is a complete turn around for someone who vowed to send down fire from heaven to cleanse the entire country and turn it into a paradise. Anyways, we'll be watching and listening with rapt attention. In any event,i still want you to do well because at the end of the day,a prosperous Nigeria will still be to the greater good of all Nigerians and by extension,Africa.
He owes you something if you voted for Change, did you?

jaybee3:
Removing subsidy is necessary but it has to be done within a reasonable time due to sensitivity and undue hardship it may bring to the common man.

They probably have to get the refineries working first then systematically remove it as promised

I like the realistic power generation target as it can be easily measured year on year

This is a no-brainer:
"7. A very LEAN government is the focus; this will involve resolving overlapping and redundant MDAs; largely in line with the Steve Oronsaye presidential committee report; this report was available to GEJ’s government but the will to implement it was absent"
The issue of subsidy is one that Jonathan soaked in lies and deceit so you can only speak from a certain point of view with no guarantees of its veracity.
Subsidy is a necessary evil although I will love the new government to review the inefficiencies in the subsidy regimen, that will definitely reduce the cost, secondly, the investment parlor for subsidy renewal is so huge that i doubt if Nigeria can afford it.

It's a dilemma for the country, I wonder how long it will take before people will snap out of Jonathan's lies and face the truth for what it is.

100dollarbills:
Chief, ur write up is a bit contradictory. First of all N5.9m cannot set up an LPG plant. No! Not in this Nigeria. Have u considered the cost of land for the plant? That alone will gulp close to N20-30m depending on ur location. Of course LPG plants are usually located in cities, not villages. And going by DPR's pre-approval inspection, the plant site must be 4plots of land (400m away from main roads and no obstruction of power lines ROW). Except u r talking of roadside LPG cylinder-retailers and that does not require N5.9m to start-up. A DPR standard plant that turns out an average of 1000 cylinders (12.5kg) goes for N15m except u r talking of the latest China-made make-shift plants which costs N9m. I'm in the process of building a plant in Port Hrcourt so I know what I'm talking about
The guy may have something else in mind, perhaps a village or something!!

PPAngel:
Buhari's candidacy, campaign and eventual palace coup on our democracy where ochestrated from Washington.

Buhari's only vision for contesting the election is to become president. The man has nothing to offer when he is sworn in. The white house was desperate for regime change in Nigeria because Nigeria was already diversifying it's external reserves which was based on the dollar to other currencies.

Buhari was only considered because he is a northern muslim who enjoys wide fanatical support from his illiterate almajiri constituency and also because effective propaganda on the ever xenophobi and anti igbo SW electorate was achieved.

A Buhari candidacy is a win for JP Morgan and the US Federal reserves.

This is the latest neo colonial conquest in the 21st century and it took ignorance in the north and shallow intelligence and "I too sabi" mentality in the SW to achieve.
How much is in the Nigerian foreign reserve with proof? ?

We knew what Rivers was before Amaechi became Governor. We knew how the state was militarised and citizens had to raise up their hands when walking in Public. We knew how land owners exhorted us indiscriminately. Amaechi came in and dismantled all these and a new order was put in place.
The turmoil currently being experienced in Rivers isnt because of Amaechis incompetence (he has done it before and he has what it takes to do it again) but the undermining of his authority from the center. Amaechi is known to chase and hunt down thugs. The thugs u see out there are wikes. The same set of people he unleashed during his cursed era in Obiakpor.
Chairman of the most notorious LGA in Nigeria, I just pray it is not true.
Most of these noise makers don't know that man.
Amaechi means development to rivers people, Wike means thuggery for rivers people.
Under Wike, Obiakpor was the second wealthiest LGA after etiosa but has the worst roads.
Even bursary, Wike fought with students.

Gejpresident:
New Beginning!
I was left in tears when i read President Goodluck congratulatory message to Gen. Buhari

I was not crying because i felt like crying, i was not crying cause i supported him and he lost, but i cried cause his words arrested my emotions.

He wished his opponent a good administration ahead, he congratulated him and accepted defeat.

I could remember by this time in 2011, Buhari never accepted that he lost, he promised Jonathan that he will make his administration ungovernable for him and he later fulfilled his promise.

His supporters took to the streets and slaughtered innocent Nigerians but he never stopped the killings.

But today, he has won that same man that defeated him in 2011 but got a congratulatory message instead of threats.

He has wished him success and not promising him an ungovernable tenure.Few weeks to the election, the people we call our leaders were busy sending threats to themselves and leaving the poor masses gripped with fear.

Some people left the country with fear of the aftermath of the election. But today you'v restored peace by accepting defeat peacefuly.

Oh! Jonathan, you've shown us that you'r a Goodman. You'v shown African leaders the true definition of democracy. You wished not to influence the elections with your powers, you wished not to cancel the election when you can do it and nothing will happen.

Posterity will never forget you where ever you go. I am still your fan for life. You'r a good and gentleman but surrounded by ingrates and fools that care for their pockets alone.
Oh Jona! You lost the election but won our heart....

It is normal for a loser to be hopeful, but this new image package you are giving to Jonathan will be short lived, I wonder if he will remain your hero if you realise he stole more than Abacha.

A man who refused to honour PDP rotational presidency in 2011 and 2015 till the voters humbled him at the polls. you are packaging him a hero?
You lack the ability to reason properly, I wonder how you survived this long, your survival is evident that law of segregation is a hoax.

You are a walking-dead fighting a lost course . Funny how you raise questions I never asked and responding to what you assumed was my meaning.

You are asking questions based on what YOU TAUGHT I MEANT. What a waste of humanity you are!!

You want the word "blacklist" to be found in the source that has quoted ecowas excutives asking gbagbo to hand over power or face military action. A source which has revealed the West African Central Bank blocked gbagbo from accessing state funds.

You have so much in common with your South African friends: shameless denial, enemy of truth. You're a little minded, petty troll who has been exposed as a carrier-troll. You know so little.

keep rephrasing your questions as I flush you into the sewer pipes where you belong.

Son, you have been knocked out of the ring. you don't have the muscular facts and literary skills anymore to put up a fight.

You never knew Libya invaded and tried to occupy northern Chad.

You never knew Ghadafi was the brainchild of the AU

You never knew the French was uncomfortable with Nigeria's West Africa leadership.

You're just a pretentious gay South African lover.

author=lezz post=32519089] Alright,slowpoke, I'm back
dealing with your question by numerical order.

Finally after days of Expo, Lezz has finally decided to appeal to the kola nut in his skull

No. 1----- the BBC reports that president Jonathan who happened to be the ECOWAS president, after an emergency meeting in Abuja, officially recognised the prime minister as the president-ellect and demanded the gbagbo government to step down. Jonathan also offered him refuge in Nigeria and gave him an option of military action or peacefully handing over. What's more , The West African central Bank blocked gbagbo from accessing funds of Ivory Coast. www.bbc.com/news/world -africa-12077298
Where does it say that Ivory coast was "BLACKLISTED" from ECOWAShuh Dont you know what Blacklist means?
Show me where blacklist was written in that article.

This was your initial comment,
"During the ivory coast presidential issues, ecowas had already asked gbabo to step down and blacklisted his government from ecowas. Military intervention was being discussed on the table."
You can neither curse nor lie your way out of this one, so try harder.

No 2----- You demon of the internet, I never said ghadafi PREDICTED the disintegration of Nigeria because of the united Africa nonsense .

Ghadafi CALLED for the outright breakup of Nigeria onto smaller states which he later changed to two states along religious lines which is quite different from what the US did.
The US merely predicted the likely breakup of Nigeria which she even denied.

Ghadafi seeked a weakened Nigeria which will make the entire west Africa vulnerable to exploitation and puppet governments. Nigeria has been oppossing ghadafi ever before the united Africa crap. Charles Taylor which Nigerian led ECOWAS eased off was a close ally of ghadafi. www.pambazuka.net/en/category.phb/panafrica/
This was your original statement, you cannot bamboozle anyone cooking up theories and non quintessential elements,

"Ghadafi as one of the oldest and wealthiest African leaders has asked for the au to morph into a single country with him as president.
His expantionist agenda is what Nigeria had always kicked against."
I showed you that Nigeria was not the only country that kicked against his plan and you made another statement

"At the heat of ghadafi's ouster in the Libyan civil war, Nigeria wanted ghadafi out because of his expansionist agenda in west Africa. Viewing Nigeria as a threat to this plan, he has called for the disintegration of Nigeria. Consequently Nigeria was the first country in Africa to officially recognise the rebel fighters
Now prove to this honorable house that Ghaddafi called for the disintegration of Nigeria because we did not support his expansionist agenda?

NO.3---- many Nigerian doctors are practicisng in Saudi Arabia which isn't a proof of any indication in that country. Quite unlike south Africa who clearly lacks the required quantity of qualified medical doctors to fill in there general hospitals.
Now that you agree that professional migration has nothing to do with how efficient a system is, do you have the statistics of doctors in SA vs Nigeria to know who is lacking? I rather debate on the facts than on mere speculation.

No.4----- You keep embarrassing people unfortunate enough to bear your cursed name.

You claim south Africa was the brain child of the AU. I supplied you proof it was ghadafi. You are still a lame ignorant imposter and a fraud. The link on no.2 suffice here.
It was a movement that people came together to agree then implement, the only question therein is; who was the first AU chairman? the onus is on me to make the connection between the first AU chairman and the AU brainchild, right?
so tell us, who was the first AU chairman??

No. 5----- France was bluffing and never threatened. You are a foolish kid. I followed that event very well and the Nigerian army dealt with the Cameroonian gamdems. And our defence minister said this famous quote " Nigeria will walk into Cameroon, France or no France" that was when Cameroon RAN to the ICJ. Why did Cameroon initiate the court proceedings if she really trust France to attack? You are a certified, bona fide dummy.
You have every right to retract any of your initial claims and apologise for misinforming the house, however, let me quickly remind you what you said.

"Bakassi was settled legally by the international court. Nigeria led by example and didn't use her might to swallow Cameroon"
You claimed we led by example by handing over the peninsular and I countered that position and gave proof that France threatened Nigeria,
since your proof is implying that France threatened Nigeria as well, will you now retract that "leading by example nonsense" and apologize to the house for misinformation?

The book you presented as evidence that France is not happy with Nigeria's hegemony in west Africa was written by prof Yomi Akinyeye, who by profession is not a French politician, neither does he have experience in Nigerian military, hence, what you read was a "Personal opinion" of Yomi, and he is not an authority to speak the mind of the French.

I really dont want to believe that your barrage of insolence here is fuelled by a pseudo intelligence founded on Yomi's "personal thoughts", when I asked you for a proof, I wanted to see where the French made the claim themselves.
Showing me Yomi's personal opinion is as good as your online vituperations, totally unacceptable. Show us where the French claim they are unhappy with Nigeria's hegemony in West Africa, kindly elucidate the Hegemonies, such an ambigious word will not lead us to a tangible outcome, I am still waiting.

NO7----- where did i make that very assertion? you walking failure in human form.
I told you this;

"AU has proved with Libya, Ivory coast and Mali that they are an unserious organisation, do you expect serious countries to be active in an unserious organization? AU is meant for unserious countries like Nigeria not Egypt".
And you replied thus;

you asked why Egypt has remained passive in AU, well not only Egypt but all of north Africa are essentially middle eastern!!!

Egypt isn't African any more than Turkey is European. Occupying the geographical space of Africa or Europe so rare a times don't cut it.Egypt situated in Africa only makes her African geographically. She is the leader of the Arab world.
My question is this; Since Egypt is an active AU member but remained passive in her affairs, yet a formidable force in the Arab league, don't you think it is because AU is an unserious Organization for serious countries like Egypthuh??

The Final question is this;

Compare the Nigerian first Ebola case with the United states first Ebola case? It was borne out of this statement;

"You said we are not suppose to get Ebola, blah blah blah. That no screening whatsoever at the airports. Should I remind you late sawyer was a diplomat who came into Nigeria officially? How did Ebola got into mighty USA or even Spain?"
Since you are confident to compare apple with oranges, tell us what you know about the two events? remember, you are free to retract any un verifiable statement you made in the past, & apologise to the house for mis informing us.

1. You said "Ígbos have not been favoured in federal projects" and you said again down in your argument "I don't see any maginalisation anywhere"

This is the definition of maginalisation "The process whereby something or someone is pushed to the edge of a group and accorded lesser importance. This is predominantly a social phenomenon by which a minority or sub-group is excluded, and their needs or desires ignored".
Don't foist your opinion on me, I made the statement on two different pedestals as such it can not be mixed, Igbos svcked GEj's d!ck with no reasonable Federal project to show for it, that was what my statement implies, someone who have noted this will quickly bifurcate APGA, one faction for Okorocha and APC the other for PDP, that was exactly what the yorubas did.

In view of the above, it is not "marginalization" but "deception", Jonathan had what it takes to do the needful for the Igbos but he never did anything even when it was clear that he was getting full support from the Igbos, from the elections to APGA not having any presidential aspirant. Jonathan did not "marginalize" you, he "conned" you.

Could this be in line with principle of giving only GBP 20 to all Igbos not minding how much they had as bank balance?
Take it that you paid for the war you caused, nobody asked Kaduna Nzeogwu to do selective anti corruption massacre, Nobody asked Aguiyi ironsi not to prosecute him even when he took to the media to boast of his blood bath, nobody asked you to secede knowing that secession was an act of war at the time. Nobody asked you not to stop ojukwu when his ego ran out of control, Finally do you know there are countries that seceded peacefully? why did Ojukwu not tow the path of recumbency to use peaceful means to achieve the same results? Nigeria had a right to uphold its law as a country.

2. You want the SEasterners to shift with power? That is not politics. Politics is about ideology and principles. It is not harlotry.
I supported GEJ and I will still support him against Buhari any day because I know what he has done not because he is Igbo or from the SS. He stands for the economic liberation all Nigerians need.
Who am I a mere mortal to sway your opinion above umbrage? you can as well support Yaradua for all I care.
you mentioned ideology, what is the SE political ideology? I can draw a pattern for the yorubas from the days of Herbert macaulay since 1932, I can draw a pattern for the Northerners from 1897, except Nnamdi Azikiwe, who has a nationalistic ideology, what is the ideology of the present igbo leadership? I will really love to learn from you.

i. GEJ failed because the US and the UK wanted him out,
Speculations not facts, I was there live doing the needful for buhari, a deja vu from 2003, 2007 and 2011, I didn't see Hillary clinton on the queue neither did I see a David cameron there.
You may wish to be more factual next time you quote my post.

ii. the north wanted power back such that even PDP governors in the North compromised. They either did nothing or rigged for Buhari in the North
The North wanted power back, yes I agree and you forgot that they wanted same power back in 2011, when Jonathan won convincingly, right? Recall the "doctrine of necessity" my friend.

The only form of rigging PDP reported was "underage" voting, correct me if I am wrong, till date nobody has evidence whether they were voting APC, PDP or any other party, If I were you, I will wait till more facts emerge from the tribunal before jumping into conclusion.

Were the voters really underage? well, Jonathan who hailed from a southern minority was there with his ally Senate president Mark when Yerima sponsored his infamous "underage marriage bill", what do you think the bill was about? pedophilia? lol go and study that bill, by virtue of marriage, every Nigerian has become an adult.

The northerners pulled the underage stunt in 2011, and the outcry was overwhelming, in 2013, they sought a constitutional review to legitimize their treachery and they won, you see how the northerners have outsmarted you? so while you shout underage voting, be ready to prove in court that the individual is neither married nor betrothed, remember that nigeria recognize traditional form of marriage where "betrothed"
marriage is a subset of it.
Bros, only igbos refused to realize that Nigerian politics have gone scientific, follow- follow politics is way 1960, Politics today is about defining your interests and having a workable strategy to realize it.

iii. Jega was mandated to deliver Buhari by the North and the US. So he did what he had to do to disenfranchise GEJ's favoured area. He refused to authorise the use of mannual voting till late while my friend in the North told me they had no problem. They used manual accreditation from the start.

I really do not want to go into this bro.
The same jega who enthroned Jonathan in 2011? ask yourself, what has changed within this 4yrs? speculations will not help anyone, face the facts.

When I went to collect my PVC, I saw near a truck load of PVC's there awaiting collection, let me start with your Igbo brothers, How many of them will leave their shops to go and queue to collect PVC let alone vote? according to Jega, the northerners were going to the INEC office on daily basis asking for their PVCs, are they as busy as you are?

Some of them are in IDP camps, playing soccer, dusk till dawn, some of them ran from the other 20 LGAS in borno and Adamawa and ran to stay with relatives in Maiduguri, Yola and Damaturu, what do you expect them to be doing? no school, no work, just sit idle, why will they not have the highest PVC turn out? that is common sense!! coupled with the orientation of national participation they haveo unlike Igbos whose parents start drumming it to them from childhood that Yoruba is enemy because of Awolowo, Hausa is enemy because of Gowan, Ojukwu is hero because he stood up to them.

Did you see the SE queue during the election? it was only men and few old women assumably widows, yes!! easterners will hide their adult kids under the table while daddy and his friends will vote, that is their mentality, conversely, did you see the northern lines? I saw weaning mothers, kids, everybody was there and taking it very seriously.

How many easterners know the difference between Hausa and middle belt? that is the mind set they have, some whose parents are not educated raise them telling them they are not Nigerians, to boycott any national event and embrace Biafra, is that how you are going to survive in this scientific political climate called Nigeria? i dey laugh!!

Bros, I don't know who you called but the election observers said that the card readers were used in both north and south and where it failed, use manual, remember that Jega has the total number of people who collected, PVC's in each ward, rigging in this election is infinitesimal, we wait for the tribunal to give us a verdict, If your igbo brothers did not hear the announcement as early as btwn 9-10am on election day, shouldn't you be blaming Jonathan who denied you electricity?

The fault is on Ojukwu that refused to concede defeat, don't blame anyone but Ojukwu
Igbos gave him a title when he returned from exile!! You need to see the crowd at his coronation ceremony, shameful to say the least.

That i your opinion. The fact is that the food that was being sent to those so called innocent women and children was being appropriated by Biafran Troops That had to STOP. So let us stop the emotionality and deal with reality. It was a war not inter-house sports. War is not meant to be fun so once you go to war you expect a lot of bad things to happen.
Are you kidding? you seriously think it is justified for Nigeria to stop relief materials from reaching its target, do you know that it amounts to war crime today!! whose war account did you read that told you that nonsense?
Food donations abroad were flown in and dropped at red cross relief centers, it never came from Nigeria why did Nigeria stop it?

The soldiers had their rations likewise the women and children, it wasn't like Nigeria cared about the women and children and stopped food because the soldiers were denying them their rations, at the relief camps, everyone's line is different.

You also forgot that those women and and children were sisters, wives and kids of the soldiers who normally take their ration home.

Bros I am not a fan of ojukwu, but you are more evil trying to justify the evil of Gowon and Awolowo.

First of all Let us agree that we shall not start abusing each others families.Respect is reciprocal.Let us shun silly personal remarks.
It helped to end the war though the number you state is debatable have you any evidence? Even today economic sanctions are a standard tool against intransigent evil regimes so no biggie.Only a callous leader would see the writing on the wall and persist in folly while his people perish like cockroaches. That highlights how fiendish Ojuiku was
Yes Ojukwu messed up big time, so what is your point? you still think the blockade is justified? Even Israel still ration supplies into Gaza but not completely cutting them off.

Sorry but the strategy helped VERY MUCH.It was da bomb
It helped Nigeria no doubt but it redirected a military conflict to a Genocide targeting defenceless women and children, any generation can choose to whip up sentiments anyday.
War!! is War!! stick to the rules of engagement, guess Awolowo doesn't know that much.

Find out what US did so many years after Hiroshima.
But you talk about forgiveness if an act has stopped. £20 of all they had in the bank and there is unwritten law to make sure they do not progress. These guys fly in and out of the country but it took an Igbo aviation minister under SS president to have one international airport in the SE. She was attacked in the social media for that and idea was ridiculed. How do you talk about forgiveness when the rest of the country still see you as a rebel and sore thumb? The people inflicted this wound are around and brag with it. Check OBJ statement in Bayelsa recently. Even your president elect. Etc

I don't think about this because to me it means nothing but people should not talk as if the oppressors have stopped
I am interested in that part in bold, who is oppressing you? Ibos have not been so favored in project Nigeria but that does not in any way mean oppression, everyone who seems to be favored have one time or the other worked for project Nigeria including the Igbos.

Let me take you to the 90's so we wouldn't degenerate to viewing ourselves as ancient of days, when the Military seized absolute power, who fought for the Democratic Nigeria we are enjoying today?

please correct me if I am wrong because my history may sound rusty, they were mostly southwesterners, immediately after they wrestled power from Abacha, Ekwueme joined the movement for the formation of PDP, and still expected to be handed the presidential ticket, just like that?
Meanwhile, the Northerners adopted OBJ as a compensation for the June 12/pro democracy struggle, Alex Ekwueme ran home to cry wolf how oppressed Igbos were, forgetting that Nnamdi Azikiwe a PAN African got the presidency immediately after the struggle for independence.

Look at APC members in the SouthEast, though I am not a fan of Ngige, but when you hear Igbos who hate him, their reasons are so petty, "he joined a yoruba party" and they have consistently ensured he lost in all his recent elections.

Rochas Okorocha is suffering the same thing in Imo state, the Igbos are drunk in pettiness and bigotry nothing more, I don't see any marginalization any where, why did Igbos not work for APC to brighten their chances?

Victor Umeh's APGA held APGA so dear even when it no longer produces presidential aspirants, what kinda political calculation is that?
Today, they expect APC to be doling out positions to them after the political suicide they committed with a drowning man, whose fate has already been decided by the blood bath in the north.

Look at the Yorubas, even when they are at the fore front of APC, there were still factions working for PDP, either way it goes, it could have been a win win situation for the region.

Look at the SS jonathan they were willing to die for, even when the APC alliance was waxing stronger and tougher, treated like slaves by the so called PDP, yet they stuck with Jonathan.
Read here; https://www.nairaland.com/2166883/president-jonathan-south-east-orchestra

and tell me why any sane Igbo man will ever support Jonathan.

I think it is time for Tinubu to make it clear that Igbos should re elect Okorocha and perhaps another SE APC Governor if they want to be taken seriously by the present APC government.

Tomorrow, nigerians will be shell shocked and the political class thrown into disarray as former president olusegun obasanjo just this morning returned 200 million dollars to the federal government and promised to release names if those who do not follow his lead and return "what belongs to the Nigerian people" as he put it, an official announcement of this development will be made tomorrow, Thursday, 9th April 2015.
Hmmmm, a $200m in a TB investment at 18% P.A for his 8yrs in government plus another 8yrs out of Government has yielded double of that money, he actually returned change to us, the fear of Obong Buhari is the beginning of wisdom!!

your quote itself is a long distraction and takes up an entire page. Events have overtaken you. Stop fighting a drowning man's battle. You got whooped, ridiculed and reduced to a standing pack of debris.

Now stop recyclind questions which have been dealt with last month here. Move along with the issue at hand and I promise you more e-blows to your thick skull.
Does it change the fact that you are mentally incapacitated to address the questions there in?

Bros, address the questions you bloody coward, name calling will not save you this time, I AM BACK FOR YOU!! (thank God for elections),In case your brain could not sieve out the questions, I will help your dumb soul

The questions are;

1)can you prove to this honorable house that ECOWAS blacklisted Ivory coast in 2011? Let me remind you that you claim to know too much as such, to get the evidence won't be a problem, please do not tactically maneuver out of this for any reason whatsoever, it is either you are proving or you are shutting up completely.
I will neither read nor respond to any other gibberish that doesn't have the proof i asked for.

2) Prove that Ghaddafi predicted Nigeria's disintegration because Nigeria and other countries rejected the United States of Africa, any strenuous analogies and unverifiable claims will NOT be read.,

3) can you in clear conscience assume that Nigeria is a lord over Saudi Arabia because our doctors took refuge there??

4) Who was the first chairperson of the AU? one single answer of a name and probably date, any other strenuous crap will not be read.

5) Do you agree that Nigeria was threatened by France before we agreed to hand over Bakassi?

6) Prove that France is uncomfortable with Nigeria hegemony in Africa, and what are those Hegemonies?

7) Prove that the African Union is more organised than the Arab league.

cool Compare the Nigerian first Ebola case with the United states first Ebola case.

Remember that name calling is just an attitude, answers to questions shows your intelligence, all the questions up there were all your claims hence we implore you to do justice to them, dont let your brain down this time.

Please bro, presidency has never gone to the Igbos and I didn't see the Igbos' progress regressing since then. Whom presidency don help self?? The fact that Jonathan or Buhari isn't Igbo doesn't make them less Nigerian, nor the fact that the Igbos haven't had any President doesn't deny them their citizen rights. So drop that Presidency brag...it's for drunks @ a beer parlour.
I never said having the presidency is a ticket to heaven, my point is this; without political power, your investments are not safe, it will always swing with Government policies, let me give you an example;
We all know that Dangote's companies cause unfair distribution of electricity anywhere he operates, can you stop it? We know that his trucks mount enormous pressure on road infrastructures nationwide, can you change that?

Do you think the FG whose responsibility it is to maintain those roads cannot carve out road Maintenance tax for Dangote? but that would not happen, Govt policies must favor him at all times because he strategically aligns with the Government in power to protect his interests, that is what a wise businessman should do, Igbos need to learn from that.

Despite all the support Igbos gave to Jonathan, did it stop him from raising duty on almost all the goods at the ports? Did he just forget that majority of Igbos are importers?

Now you get an idea what I mean.
