berem: he will be charged for raising false alarm, the first to accuse the boys of being thieves, owing someone and refused to pay, accused the boys of being with a gun when no gun was actually found on them, running away for the fear of being arrested, refusing to tell the truth to the mob that he was indeed a debtor, the list is endless!
Total bullish ignorance, once the boy can prove his life was threatened that night, perhaps present neighbors as witnesses, his lawyer will argue on self defense,
any sane judge will discharge him ASAP.

the only problem i foresee is the parents of the boys bribing the judge to thwart justice. Nigeria justice system is that porous.

You still don't get it. The part of the story you said revealed were all hear say. Why lay your points on that, not caring if the boys are innocent or not. Why apologize and withdraw your comments later when you have steered hatred towards them. See I have no issue with you. I just want you to know it is not good labeling someone bad without proof.

The truth is that you have chosen to live in total ignorance of the fact that you wish these boys evil based on mere speculation. Even when the police Chief has not ever mentioned anything as them going with a cultist or shots being fired. You keep pressing and trying to make that prove your point.

It is totally wrong because you are judging them based on hear say. Whether you like it or not. The truth so far the Cultist following them and shots fired are all lies. The police for now have tagged it a false alarm. As for dopeJemi What is the truth in spreading evil based on false allegations. Please stop the hate spread till the official report from the police support your claims, if not you guys are no different from the LYNCHERS

Horus: Police arrest mastermind of UNIPORT killings

The Police in Rivers State said they have arrested the mastermind and prime suspect of the ALUU murder, Coxson Lerebori Lucky, aka Bright.

Mr Lucky was declared wanted by the Nigerian Police on Monday for the brutal murder of four students of the University of Port Harcourt – Ugonna Obuzor, 18, 200 Level Geology; Lloyd Toku, 19, 200 Level Civil Engineering; Tekena Elkanah, 20, a Diploma Technical student and Chiadika Biringa, 20, 200 Level Theatre Arts.

He allegedly raised the false alarm which got the students killed.

21 people have so far been arrested and the IG of police has ordered an inquest into the alleged involvement of police men and have promised to bring to book any officer found involved in the killing.

as much as u wanna buy into a statement you don't understand, justice has been murdered a long time in Nigeria, the judges are compromised same as the police.

the court of people's opinion is what rules the land, however sad that may sound, it is the reality before us.

please we are talking about victims of circumstance they brought upon themselves (not verified though) not some hate sh!t u posted above.there is a possibly they brought terror to someone and they ended up dead.

if you storm my home with 4/5 men and one fires a shot, in the middle of the night, for whichever guise, the least chance i get, i will waste you first.

if i don't get that chance, i will call for help, if my neighbors chose to burn you alive, it is your problem not mine

snowprince01: The reason for d 5:30am move was to catch d guy b4 he leaves in d morning, as he has bn dodging them for some time..secondly going with a cultist was to scare d guy to be able to pay up or give them something.. D boize mite not knw the cult boy was armed. It is assumed that he can do wonders and help them get the money.. When some1 is owing u sometime u mite even go with touts rather than the police, because d polices will end up spending half of the moni, it has happened to me, bt touts mite take few bottles nd then do all d job for u..the boize were just inexperienced and am sorry for dat.. They would have made it obvious to the tenant b4 any violent actio..meet few of them and tell them their mission b4 making such move, sometimes even using d vigilante instead of the cult boy..if they used vigilante and d boy did not pay, then they cn use other measures, dat way even they were caught they wil knw it wasn't a robbery incident that they were debtors..going first with a cult boy when they r not cultists to was a wrong move.. D vigilante should cum first..
Now your account made sense!!! my only problem is, what minimal force did the cultist intend to use on the said debtor, which tantamount his calling for help?

I agree the boys may not be cultists, but i stand on the premise that the said vigillante are not stup!d if nothing has warranted their execution.

being a cultist or having them at your disposal for intimidation purposes still share the same risk.

in my opinion, i think the IGP info is quite premature though i understand the pressure from family and friends of the victims, nevertheless.

the IGP has no right to say the debtor raised a "false alarm" when the debtor has not been arrested,
if actually the boys went with a cultist, do you think the debtor doesn't have the right to life?

Have you witnessed an occult "marching", "jojo" or treating "fvck up" like they call it? bro it is no child's play. the debtor must have not found it funny to call for help.
Thank God the police ran away(why did they run away sef) undecided, had they fired a shot, the police-hating media and jobless/half-literate masses would have claimed the boys were shot dead by the police. Now they retreated for reinforcement, yet they are blamed, it is a pity to be a police officer in a crime-loving society like Nigeria, they can’t love or support the police. If the police had shot at the mob by now so-called human right activists would have charged them for using excessive force, “bullets against ordinary stones” Sorry Nigeria Police, you are between the Devil and the deep blue sea.
I personally chose to dis believe the police for these comments;

“Findings have revealed that the victims had gone to the area where they met their unfortunate death earlier that morning to demand for money allegedly owed to them by Coxson Lelebori Lucky, alias ‘Bright’, who raised a false alarm that the victims were armed robbers. Although, Coxson has gone underground, Detectives are on his trail.
The culprit "bright" who raised the Alarm is still at large, how did the police draw the conclusion of "FALSE ALARM"? is this another case of half baked investigation?

common sense tells me that a man calling for help, in a Nigerian higher institution environment plagued by cultism, accosted by 4/5 men in his home, in the wee hours of the morning, is no child's play.

for police to conclude it was a false alarm with "Bright" still at large is an insult to common sense.

the chief gave out the identities of the vigilante who police claimed reacted to false alarm, even when the motive of the murder has not been established from the quote below;

“Efforts are being intensified to establish the motive(s) behind this crime,
is the police taking us for fools?

if the vigilante knew from the onset it was false alarm like the police claimed, why drag the boys to the chief?

what did they tell the chief that the boys could not refute?

the early pictures of those boys shortly after leaving the chief's premises, shows they were not badly beaten yet, so why did they not explain themselves to the chief?

were they terrorizing the area in the past that the chief chose to make a scape goat out of them?

is it the motive the police wish to uncover?

MR Abubakar, next time, don't conclude on "false alarm" when you could neither arrest the boy who raised the alarm, nor the motive behind the killing by the vigilante. it demeans what ever God put in your skull.

jp philips: The problem with most dumb skulls here is that they think ALUU is in space. Ask the students staying there and get the facts straight.
the video you watched had numerous spectators, are they not life witnesses to what happened? are they not giving their own accounts?

there are loads of video on you tube, see the one with the title, "the truth is finally out" that is the only video that had what seems like a reality to this matter. the rest are childish.

I attended a Nigerian Uni and i can confidently tell you how these things play out, sink your emotions in your pants and face common sense for once.

I have been to ALUU several times, I have also been to Alakahia close to Aluu, these places are not hidden, sitting abroad or lagos typing thrash wont help anybody.

the pertinent areas the video did not address was that the boys were caught in the night and paraded during the day.
How did i know this? Aluu vigilante operate only in the night, from 10pm or so.

Aluu like i said is a small community, they know themselves you cannot just scream thief!!!! thief!!! and the whole community follows you, it is not possible. i stand on that 100%. it is the lie of the century, someone planted that Hoax and it is selling.

you cannot shout "thief" behind me in my neighborhood and you expect neighbors to burn me alive without asking questions?
doesn't it sound dumb??, people are being too emotional about this and its very annoying.

if the boys went for debt recovery in the middle of the night like the video claimed, what minimal force did they intend to usehuh?
for God's sake the debtor can as well be your child, don't we owe peoplehuh

if the boys came in peace, why did the debtor feel threatened to alert the vigilante?? or does he not have the right to live??
using "thief" was prolly to aggravate the scenario to spur the vigilante to react, i would have done same myself. i want to survive too. Occult hit in Nigeria is no child's play, UNEC 1998 woke up with the gory sight of a human head of a mid twenty's boy hanging on a spike, a victim of over night hit with a side note. "one down more to follow, egede no be beans"

these killings happen on daily basis and nobody is talking about it.

let us not over flog whether they are cultists or not, something must have spurred the community to react, thief thief!!! is not enough, vigilante claimed they heard gunshots though the shooter escaped after scaring them with few shots.

now, that is likely to make the community to react and treat these boys without mercy, not necessarily the shouts of "thieves".
we saw the girl that stole BB, and some other thieves paraded, one thing is common, they are always caught in the act in such scenarios, we see them snap pictures with their loot naked, why is the ALUU case different?

was these guys living in ALuu community? yet, no one could identify or vouch for their integrity? your guess is as good as mine, at the very least someone rented them a house that could have said, "these are my tenants" and i don't think its right, "joints where they hang out"? people they mix with, ladies they are toasting? the story doesn't add up.

the community response eludes common sense, my guess is that those boys are "externals" in that neighbor hood that is why nobody knows or could vouch for them.

it is synonymous to Nigerian cult operations, they import people from other zones to treat internal "Bleep ups" as they call it.

lastly, look at the students retaliatory response just few days after the incident, was there an assembly for the aluu victims? no!!. solidarity movement? no!! what about their depts? faculties? NO!! etc.

over night, we saw a well organized mobilized group causing mayhem in the community, who were they? some emotional students may have joined the movement out of ignorance (like the peeps on Nairaland)no doubt, but who are the organizers? whose brain child was it?.

my guess? his group, Nigerian cultists are notorious for retaliatory hits.

every aspects of this story so far revealed, points to one direction "CULTISM", until we see fresh facts that speak otherwise, i will gladly apologize and withdraw my comments

Did you honestly read the link that HORUS posted? Are you saying that the Nigerian police boss, Mohammed Abubakar doesn't know the difference between Midnight and early morning. By the way the Vigilante Close by 6:00 am not midnight.

You can make fun to make yourself feel smart or accept facts. The people watching the Murder are collaborators to the murder. They are blood thirsty and will say anything to see blood shed. The police boss neversaid guns were shot. So you can believe in hear say or face facts staring at you.

Who told you they took someone on a mission, hear say. Secondly if you call someone to help you get your money back. Will you stand him and search him? Be realistic here.

Finally those boys being killed were unarmed. That will never stand as self defense in the Court of Justice.
so the "resume work" i wrote in my post means "close work" to you? vigilante resume 9pm-10pm and close early morning according to residents.

if police said they were caught early morning, it can be 12:00hrs,13:00hrs or even 14:00hrs still within the operational time frame of the vigilante, and early enough to be referred to as morning.

Who told you they took someone on a mission, hear say. Secondly if you call someone to help you get your money back. Will you stand him and search him? Be realistic here.
the gods remote controlled him to join in the recovery of a debt not his abi? while his classmates were sleeping, are you listening to yourself?

First of all, the Official report said they went early in the morning. So quit speculating.

Secondly if anyone shot a gun, no one will easily venture near that vicinity. The way the boys were caught, shows no gun was shot.

Thirdly, are you saying that if you move with someone, you can tell what he has on him. Do you know the length people go to conceal guns?

Fourthly, I will never murder someone in cold blood based on mere suspicion. I am definitely incapable of that. That is why I am shocked that people could do this and more shocked that people can even Condone and support this.
official report like Aluu does not exist? lol lol lol lol lol, please go to Uniport and ask them when Aluu vigilante resume work, you don't need a report for that. lol at official report, this guy is incredible,
guess you need official report to know the time for first service in your church lol lol lol lol

12:00am is still early morning abi? is not night enough?

secondly; vigilante has it in their claims, the villagers said they heard Gun shots, in the video, there were more than a hundred villagers in the crime scene. Arent they witnesses enough?

thirdly; if i choose a particular person for a particular mission, i must have a good reason for doing so.
will you argue that the choice of cohorts was a random pick?

if you believed this quote of yours;

Secondly if anyone shot a gun, no one will easily venture near that vicinity. The way the boys were caught, shows no gun was shot.
why are you still surprised the authorities did not find the gun? don't you think that the same reason you quoted gave the guy with gun room to escape? if he escapes, how do you still wish to find the gun to prove your case?

fourthly; you cannever be certain the length people can go to protect themselves from invaders of any guise, the police have failed all of us u know.

You can move with someone and not know he has a gun. That doesn't make you someone in possession of a gun.

interesting!! young man, quit insulting common sense. someone owed you and refused to pay, among all the people in your school, you chose 4/3 men as the case may be to go intimidate your debtor in the middle of the night and you claim you don't know one of you has a gun? laughable!!
you could as well claim you don't know the gender of your cohorts.

We have seen cultists in schools, they don't kill them when they are identified, they could either be suspended, rusticated or something ! Justice for these ones will deter pple from involving in jungle justice ! If this type of justice continues, who knows it might be you JP Phillips we would be fighting for like these young guilty or innocent lads ! Shalom
guilty, i will not fight, innocent, i need proofs they are not cultists. I Am not youtube jobless.

interesting how you conviniently chose to downplay the menace of cultism.

they may not even wish to kill the guy but we cant be certain what happens if a fight ensued.

you dont expect the debtor to hand over his properties to the slain boys without a fight. its reactionary.

SARS reported killing 8 boys in 2007 in Abakiliki, TO SARS they are robbers, but students rumored they were cultists on a hit mission.

SARS searched their vehicles to find guns, hot drink, machete. no money or stolen item but photographs of would be victims.

stop saying it is only rustication that behooves cultists for all i care, if you have intentions or you threaten to take the life of another man, you have lost the right to keep urs.

that guy said a simple fact that can be deduced from all these rumors, everybody is not as brain dead as you.
what if they marched the debtor to death? will you call for justice?

Police didn't try to stop the Killing

Tony Uranta; a public affairs analyst confirmed that two different patrol teams were on hand at the scene where the boys were murdered and the location where the incident took place was within five different outposts of police and JTF. He said further that the Police did not attempt to disperse the crowd before the boys were killed and left to him the DPO and others should be charged to court. According to Mr. Uranta who was also a guest on Sunrise Daily "the problem we have in this country is that no government officials can be charged to court and if the issue is not properly taken up he will go on a one-man protest".
Mr uranta go and utilize your time judiciously, i wonder why you didnt march for Enugu25.

do you have proof the boys are not cultists? or they did not hire one?

dont you know that aluu vigilante operate only in the night?
what was 4/5 students doing in the residence of another in middle of the night that he felt threatened to alert vigilante?

do you know how small aluu is and its neighbor alakahia to think you can live there without people knowing you?
common sense should tell you they operated out of their jurisdiction. to what end?

a youtube source claimed its debt recovery in the middle of the night with a hired cultist? use your head.

the mum of one of the victims even called channels to say her son is not a cultist., how sure is she? was she expecting him to send her a post card that he has blended?

you guys are very ignorant, vigilante said they heard a gun shot, a youtube video titled "the truth is finally out" claimed the 5th guy had a gun. but made away with it after firing a few shots to scare the crowd.

the mission was debt recovery. how many Nigerian students know that their room mates are cultists let alone parents in the city?

abeg tell me a matured story this Aluu four is so lame for me to blame Aluu community for protecting itself from invaders.

what could have befallen the said debtor if he hadnt alerted the vigilante or he doesnt have a right to life?
or you think ocultic "marching" is child's play?

the reprisal attack on the community is synonymous to an occultic movement, most coded men will tell you. the few innocent students that joined out of soliderity acted in gross naeivity.

who orchestrated the reprisal attack? the boy's father? dept? lecturers? who exactly? abi tonns of strong men bonded by blood who believe in "one for all, all for one"?

if you think Aluu 4 deserves justice, why didnt you push for justice for enugu 25? who met their untilmely death in the hands of cultists?

why should i buy sympathy for a group of infantile radicals who dont know hw hard their sponsors strive to see them through school?

arrant nonsense!!!

evil begets evil.

may the living go bury their dead. thak God the said debtor survived.

who knows if the police is not even tired of those boys and their menace.

GOODNIGHT PAIN...

Goodnight Pain. "thieves, thieves" he screamed, it was almost funny. Not until more voices joined the chorus as they screamed and shouted on us. We could have ran at least to save our lives, but our intentions were genuine and little did we know how the day would end. From a handful of young men shouting and throwing questions at us, it escalated to a crowd of angry mob. There was no way we could escape this one, so we calmed down. They pushed us around and then stripped us all. These men pulled us pants down, we were more than embarrassed, the whole community watched, I recognized few faces from the crowd. Obviously they were so afraid to say "stop" then the beating started, I wished it to be just a nightmare. But it was real, these men were determined. They dropped heavy rocks on our heads, they pounded our faces with large planks, blood covered our eyes, they matched and kicked us right on our bleeding nostri
ls, we couldn't breathe.

"Bring tire" one of the men repeated, until they brought the tires. "Oh God!" We watched the crowd watch us, we raised hands of plea, we couldn't speak, Some hid, some shot videos and took pictures. there was no one to stop this. This was the point we knew it was over. We felt pain, helpless and hopeless. I thought of my siblings, I wondered how my mum would take this. She would fall apart. I begged God to hold her for me, comfort and make her strong for me, I prayed same for my friends. Then we started crying, we cried together. the tears gave us headaches. We looked up high, the sky was still. Rings of tires landed on our necks, they kept hitting us, but we were numb already. They set us ablaze. We rolled around, tried to reach for each other, I wondered who would give up first, the fire burned our bodies. it hurt, it hurt and then it hurt. But suddenly the pain stopped, Then I couldn't hear any other thing, but silence. I thanked God. the pain was over and Gods glory was revealed. Goodnight pain.

RIP ALUU#4:
did the boys rise from the dead to write this or someone is making a fiction out of it? Nigerians got talents

The chief must be released, the vigilante did their jobs. Handing over cultists to police is not an option either cos the police is compromised.
