Politics › Re: Jail Is Too Good For Nigerian Pastors by jpphilips(m): 2:43pm On Dec 04, 2012
Please who is saying they are all stealing ?The bible said we should obey the word of God.The man of God opened my eyes to understand how to give to the poor,God,man and the church her self.Or, i studied my bible and with the help of the holy spirit i got a revelation regarding how to give or sow,i obeyed the word of God,and ''gave GOD'' the same money he blessed me with and you say the pastor was the one who stole the money from me.Yet i did not see anything contrary to the word of God as preached by the pastor,it was not the quran that the pastor used in his preaching,it was still d same bible i have bin reading, no form of deception at least to d best of my knowledge,i did not part with my money at gun point,it was not as if the pastor lied to me,all the things the bible said i should do that if i do them i will get this and that positive results and i have bin seeing all those things. But even if am yet to see them, was it not by faith i did them ? Or have i seen Jesus before ? Was i there when he was crucified ? But becos it is written that's why am doing them my brother. Even if i give to these pastors to help me give to God or i give expecting that God will come pick it up,if the pastors fail to give it to God or stops God from picking up my offering, how does that concerns me ? If God can't fight them, then who are my to fight them ?
Funny enough most people shouting foul foul !,they dnt even give .
The above isn't addressing you OP but your statement !
God bless us
i know all men are not born great but at what point in your life will you ask God for wisdom??

do you know that God hates aiding and abetting more than Nigerian police?

in ur words, you dont care if your pastor accounts to humanity or God, and as a child of God you dare not speak out on those who has possesed God's gifts??

Gods judgement awaits the pastor who enrished himself with Gods gift and you who refuse to speak out in condemnation.

Inspired4life: There are real Pastors and there are fake Pastors. Not everyone is called. Some were called into ministry by God while others called themselves due to financial benefits. Many are called, but few are chosen so we need to employ discernment in our judgement and criticism of men of God.
what is calling?? who called who ?? jesus in his infinite wisdom handed over the gospel to 12 normal people and someone tells you he has a calling and u take him serious.??

sir, you need deliverance from ignorance. may the annointing of logic visit you today.

a shallow mind i will say, if you dont wanna test, its ur freaking problem let the young man be.

are you under the misconception that barreness is demonic?? if the doctor says ur wife has a ruptured womb, wont you ask her what happened or you accept your faith and move on? cos you are married?? like you ve been conned??

on the other hand, if you cant get it up you expect your wife to take it as for better for worse whichever comes first??

i dont care much abt kids cos those midnight wails are more than torturous, nevertheless u cant stp your partner if she wants one.

what i wont advise you to take is accepting your faith when you have been conned to marriage.

Koolking: Guys, c'mon I still don't get why this extortion is allowed. Some say, it is illegal to buy in fuel in jerrican hence the fine. Is that realistic?
it is illegal in rivers state. Amaechi made it so, however, the cost of transportation has greatly soared so refill stations adjust their meter to make profit.

it might interest you to note that when a truck of product lands in PH,east or any southern part of the country, the dealer is already at a loss due to sundry charges.

if they opt to sell in kegs, you Will easily notice you are cheated cos the meter has been adjusted.

Politics › Re: Hon Farouk Cleared Of Wrong Doing by jpphilips(m): 2:45pm On Nov 21, 2012
filcast: The Ethics Committee of the Federal House of Representatives as reported earlier Cleared Hon. Farouk Lawan of the bribery allegation.

This development clear the air about public speculation that Hon Farouk properly shared the bribe money with his colleagues.
Lawan Farouk accepted in public that he received the bribe of $620,000 and there is no dispute about this fact.
The question is, have Hon Lawan Farouk returned the said money back to the Police as demanded.

We are still expecting the National Assembly, especially the Federal House of Representative to explain to Nigerians the basis they used to clear Farouk of the bribery allegation, an offence he NEVER denied.

The House of Representative have shown their real colour in the fight against Corruption.
The Legislatures have not find it necessary to make corruption in Nigeria a history and unattractive by introducing laws with stiffer penalties, like life imprisonment or death sentence.

It is a shame that these Lawmakers are priding over their continual dragging Nigeria's name to the Mud.

Bidam: Depends on how u see this message...God message is multifaceted and multi-dimensional. Adeboye may be talking abt naira and dollars as seeds but seeds can be ur time, energy and resources u put in a particular venture d quality of ur time determines d quality of ur harvest..in spiritual realm jus lyk d earthly realm currency is d rule of d game and wen i mean currency it is just not only money but consistency, persistency and perseverance in ur goals and pursuit for a better future and destiny. Peace.
shut up!!!

Adeboye has defined his seed, don't force words into his mouth. his seed is nothing but money, little wonder he cared less about volunteers who used their energy to build his university.

Christianity Etc › Re: The Act Of 'giving To God' As Explained By Pastor E. A. Adeboye by jpphilips(m): 12:34pm On Nov 21, 2012
Maxymilliano: The content of this post is the Novemvber 20 message of the Open Heavens daily devotional guide, and it's titled

GIVING: WHAT CONTAINER?

If you know the power of your seed, you will not joke with it; you will also not hide it. Another principle of giving is that God uses your measure to Him to give back to you. You will only be expecting God to become a magician if you expect a different measure. God is no magician, He multiplies what you give to Him but He does not change the container. Luke 6:38.

Dollar is a measure, Naira is another measure, Euro is another and Pounds is another measure. If you want returns in Dollars, sow in Dollars. Do not sow in Naira and be expecting a harvest in Euro. It does not work like that.

You can be in any country and sow in the particular currency in which you want your harvest. Sow and keep on sowing in that currency. By the time your harvest comes, you will celebrate. In addition, the various denominations of each currency are different measures too. Take for instance the Nigeria Naira, you have N1000, N500, N200, N100, N50, N20, N10 and N5 notes. It is the particular denomination that you use that God will multiply and return to you. If you keep using the smallest of the denominations and think you are thrifty or wise, you are only limiting yourself. Do yourself a favour by using the biggest denominations so as to get the greatest harvest.

Sometimes however, when you sow in a foreign currency, God may give you the harvest in a local currency for a reason. But if you check the value and compare with what you sowed, you will know that God knows how to calculate value in any currency.

How often do you sow? The key to your financial breakthrough is in your hands. If you fail to use it, nothing will be delivered to you but if you use it very well, your life will turn around for good.

Pastor E A.Adeboye, "Open Heavens" Volume 12; 20 November, 2012
Give to God and Adeboye buys jet, who is fooling who?? Adeboye, are you God's account officer??

Show me a proof that only the Pastor should be the sole custodian of God's money from the bible. You pastors have really abused that privilege

godspeed: very well my brother.if u are not a nigerian ,then let me tell u ,it seems some nigerian ladies believe the amount of insults they dish out to their wooer is directly proportional to the level of their ego and hottness (or swag )
who said i aint Nigerian?? but why will a lady you approached insult you is what i dont understand?? what did you say to her?? do you look like a monster and expect to get an embrace from strangers?? do you sweat profusely after struggling out your frustrations in a public commuter and wish her to jump at your pathetic squalor?? did you speak hindu?? do u have fowl breath?? i don't get why someone should insult you. it doesn't make sense to me.

thorpido: Those 'other duties' have to do with financial capacity.I no go steal or do yahoo yahoo to meet up.I can only spend what I have while I work hard to improve. It's not enough to be good and firm.
coogar chose to forget that the good girls dont even need your money, most of them Will rather spend theirs on you, the only thing they ask of men is total commitment to the relationship which unfortunately, most men have failed irredeemably.

be that as it may, most of them have been hurt in the past which has greatly murdered the good in them.

you dont need to be successful to have a good woman. its only a woman can define what she wants from a guy. but if she is a good one, believe me, money wont make that list.

a woman sent a prayer request to the pastor asking for God to demote her husband from a regional manager to a branch manager.

the pastor immediately summoned the couple for counselling.

first was the man, after the pastor told him the wife's prayer point. the man called it a bluff that they built their home together, she cant wish for his downfall.

the pastor invited the wife now with husband present. she said and i quote

" as a branch manager, we never lacked anything, my husband is a good man and that position is not for Good people, the money and influence is too much for my husband. pls pastor, i dont want him to change. this promotion is the devil in our marriage help me cast it away"

the pastor was confused so was the man. the next day the sharp guy rejected the appointment.

the problem is too much hunger makes African women to be thinking weird.
they glorify begging in the name of socialization, they do a lot of sh!!t for money.

some parents are not helping matters too. while parent A is teaching her daughter that asking for BB is begging.

parent B is telling hers that she is a sharp gal. in the end, too much confusion amongst the gals fold.

most bad mothers hardly make good daughters use it as a litmus test in your hunt.

most times, that gal may wish to marry you but her mum Will turn her compass around.

there are still good ones out there but u need to do some serious digging.

believe me, finding a wife is not as diff as most Nigerians think it is, what we suffer most is misplaced priorities.

during a bachelors party 4yrs ago. the bride called the groom a heartless fool out of annoyance in public.
because the man refused to allow her share the expensive drinks meant for reserved guests for the wedding to her friends.

the chairman of the wedding who happens to be a friend to the groom's late dad was pissed off and he asked the bride to apologize.

the chick blatantly refused, even when we told her that she is insulting the chairman with her refusal. she kept adamant, not even the persuation of her friends whom she intended to please could make her budge.

guess what, chairman vex comot with his driver, the gal no shake, guests begin disapperar one one. she no send, she even called us hungry people that night.

later one of us told the groom that the girl is not a wife material, do you know what he said,

"you envy me because you know my "lovely" wife is a virgin"

abeg help me ask how virginity complements for gross insurbordination?

that was the priority of a man.

so sad
you mustn't really have to be poor to date but one mistake guys do is flaunting their so called wealth around, when they do this, they attract the artificial gold-digging types, men should learn to limit their expectations, rich guys always go for the flashy, artificial ladies who will be like a trophy to show off to their friends, when a guy is surrounded by this kind of girls, how does he expect to get the 'good wify material' that he seeks. cut down on the number of girls with brazillian hair, bb, iphone, colour blocking clothes and the rest of them, from their appearance alone, a wise man can tell a lot about a lady, the flashy ones needs cash to continue looking flashy
i may not agree with you completely . the reason is because you carefully chose to ignore "class" in ur thought process.

its easier to define a social base with someone in the same sphere with you or someone who is not there yet but has what it takes to get there.

success is in the mind, so long as u ve got the right mind set, forget it, you Will get there and a smart successful gal can see that and wont have any problem dating you.

class cannot be ignored completely, the ways of the rich is like an abomination to the poor.

a successful guy may decide to date a successful chick, there is absolutely nothing wrong with dat, where you have a problem is wen u fall into the hands of the wanna bees.

imagine a girl that gets a car and monthly upkeep from a sugar daddy dating a business guy as a successful chick, y wont the guy have problems?

the successful guy may also wish to date a successful gal because of financial security.

imagine having a gal friend and automatically you begin to cater for her community, 8 siblings , her parents etc. such liabilities may plot a negative graph on your economics.

lastly, the unsuccessful ladies are more vulnerable, if you know a poor man with a pretty daughter or stingy man with a pretty daughter believe me, their style is not worth emulating, ie vulnerability in my books.

decision making is always influenced by the predominant factors of survival.

yes! i ve seen successful w.h.o.r.e.s no doubt but that decision wasn't influenced by anything but choice.

a poor girl may not want to be a wh.or.e but situations like hunger and others can make her one, that is the influence i talked about.

the fact that a lady is wielding a Brazilian hair or BB doesnt make her successful in any way. the flashy attires and the sleek cars doesnt either. except you knw how she got them.

else ,those people are successful wanna bees cos their success has no foundation . its like a gal saying that a yahoo boy is a successful chap , that's bull but when he develops the mindset to convert his yahoo loot to a flourishing business sustainable for a period of time, only then can he be termed as successful.

dont be deceived by costumes .

bottom line is, two successful minds easily harmonizes interest while the successful wanna bees Will teach you the other side of life.
