karl max: Why dont u refute hat dedeike Wrote so that We knoW Who needs to Wake up betWeen you tWo
refuting the obvious makes one to look as moronic as dedeike.

Take a close look at the picture i attached, that pic is a project site of JMS a state govt contractor doing airport to uzuagha road.

That lebanese is doing ''road survey and markings''

are we saying that Nigerians cannot do these jobs?

Why are the jonathan's witchdoctors decieving Nigerians on indegenisation.

I have showed evidence that jonathan has zero implementation frame work for the 70% indegenisation he is touting as achievement.

That contract was awarded by the rivers state ministry of works.
If govt itself doesnt care about indeginization, why is Dedeike and other jonathan's witchdoctors disturbing my peace?

@ tarharqua

pls im sleepy already, the exchange rate is not a direct function of external reserves, yea, i agree just like the chinese case, but a load of factors that joboy is ignoring and yet he wishes to achieve the perfect result.

the chinese are deliberately creating an artificial weak currency to spur export earnings. You cant compare that with Nigeria, if the chinese does the right thing, believe me, the yuan will be the strongest currency in the world.

Yes, i am aware of the chinese case but it has little to do with the Nija case so stick to topic.

About the rail projects, it is laughable to pass it on as a GEJ achievement beacuse when obasanjo initiated it, he assured us that it will take years before it will be completed.

Ask youself, do you think that a rail project of that magnitude was just completed in less than 2yrs?

Where in the world has it happened? pls play along with common sense.

james1: @JPphillips.
You have a right to your opinion;you can do that without hurling insults,I have not insulted you;we are adults sharing views and enlightening one another.borrow yourself sense.
The decadence that has been the norm for many, many years, can't be corrected overnight?the Nigerian project is work in progress.
Exparts have retuned to their countries in hordes and are still doing that;total may be least hit right now but the"tsunami" will soon hit them.I personally know wives of exparts that got affected.
Don't forget one crucial fact;there are still jobs still too technical for many Nigerians to handle, the oil coys will bring such staff and do note that the authorities need info to zero in on erring companies,if no one reports that such and such company is still flouting the rules, they can't just know, they are not omnipresent.
If you doubt me;for on-the-the-street info, visit any expart bar. E.g E-bar,step-in,pat bar or chase bar.bring up this expartriate quota issue and see the open attack on the person of GEJ.
Let me not bother you with priviledge info.
The GEJ administration made them understand;obey these rules or your license will be withdrawn;they know better than test the will of a determined governmnet.
Case in point;if you are familiar with the lagos marina;you won't fail to notice the oil rig that was on the mariner(now fully refurbished and taken back to the deep waters where it operates)it was done by nigerdock, first time a company based here got that contract,as at the time work was on,there are 180 men working on it,over 80% of them nigerians and the expart staff, most of them married to Nigerian women.the contract was worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
These are contracts that were the exclusive preseve of european companies, floated to europe, refurbished and floated back.
GEJ is on track.
Cheers.
for the sake of decorum like you professed, if you have a fact to spew, say it, if you dont, go and sleep with your wife, if you can afford one.

You cannot lie brazenly on the internet and expect well meaning Nigerians to keep quiet.

You insulted millions of Nigerians who pay exorbitant fees abroad to acquire the same knowledge that these pseudo expartriates have, with your quote above.

Do you know that most expats in Nigeria are technicians, felons who cant get jobs in their home countries?

And you think they are doing anything special here? With a daily pay of $1500?

How dare you?

what do they know that Nigerians have not learnt abroad? What special skill do they have in their resourceless countries that Nigerians dont have?

nigerdock refurbished a rig is no big deal because he did his procurement abroad, do you know the components of an oil rig? Do you think that there is any indigenous company he patronised to achieve that?

Oh!! He hired Nigerians as cheap labor and you are clapping already abi? When the real procurement was done abroad, you are not a serious person.

I will insult you to your grave if you tell me about expertriate quota again.

Companies in the oil and gas dont care because your corrupt madueke lack the implementation framework, now, if you want to argue with me, start mentioning companies that abide by it, if you cant,

then forever hold your peace

tell me the implementation framework in your PIB, that is my only interest.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Releases 155-page Book On His Achievements by jpphilips(m):
@ dedeike

did you mention JP philips? Does he look like your mate? Do you classify him as a gullible ignoramus or a technocrat? Are you not scared?

Where does your SWF come from? You had the priviledge to be tutored by a seasoned technocrat and you wish to hide behind your legal jargon, you NAZI ingrate.

Didnt you see where i wrote that the ECA is illegal? Prompting the FG to share it amongst the three tiers of govt? Are you blind or Nigerians just struck you with madness?

Outside the legal, tell Nigerians the difference between OBJ's ECA and your oga's SWF?

Same ol, same ol, no difference, you are shameless and you have no honor, you dead, stinking, Nazi swine.

How dare you baptize an OBJ achievement and pass it on as jonathan's?

Your biometrics exposed the fraud in the public sector, Nigerians like jp philips wanna see people in jail for that, if you cannot guarantee that, forever hold your peace.

Since you couldnt answer the questions about the oil thieves like i highlighted above,
I am convinced that you and joboy are the real oil thieves.

Until you tell me who lifted the embargo that enthroned those unscrupulous companies i mentioned above,

until you explain to Nigerians why joboy licensed those companies shortly before his election,

until you explain to Nigerians why companies that doesnt meet the oil lifting criteria was allowed to participate in the subsidy regime,
you remain academically incompetent to argue with jp philips, just like your PDP masters have fired beaf to enthrone a nincompoop like dedeike.

I have absolutely nothing to say to you on our foreign reserves,

if your academically inept sanusi doesnt know that foreign reserve stabilizes exchange rate, i dont blame a drop out like you for saying that

''foreign reserve is increasing while exchange rate remains all time high with a soaring debt profile''

it is a child like sanusi that deserves your dishonorable lecture not jp philips.

Prof chukwuma soludo stabilized our dollar at 138 to 1 dollar with a foreign reserve of $32b while stimulating internal growth and debt free regime,

yet you shamelessly lie to Nigerians that it is normal for us to have 162 to 1 dollar with $41b reserves and $45.1b in debt, re you not a f00l?

The PIB unbundled NNPC, how does it affect the man on the street?
You chose to ignore that question, quite convinient for you.

I alleged that the PIB is using indegenisation to hijack oil and gas infrastructures from IOC's thereby creating under employment and you conviniently chose to ignore that?

Since your only proof is online journal, i continue to mention companies in Nigeria so you can make your enquiries.

Read about Towers energy acquisition,
study the seplat and Nestoil acquisition of SPDC west assets and tell me what you think.

nigerian companies are acquiring multinational assets and creating under employment in the country under the PIB, and you have the unbriddled temerity to sing PIB to me?

You are a concrete F00l.

Thank God you have acknowledged once again that the Govt you serve are specialist in ''refurbishing'' someone's NIPP project.

Stop refurbishing, ur Govt has stolen more money than OBJ, give us your own power project from the scratch not refurbishing, you are not even ashamed, slimy goat head.

You will soon lose your PR job, beaf's faith will soon befall you, s!lly azz.

james1: GEJ is doing well and there is still room for massive improvement.
The issues of GEJ's achievement are not over rated.
Apart from what Dedeke has laid bare, you critics(you are always welcome)should not let lack of information kill you.you let hate becloud your sense of judgement.
What have you got to say to his repealing of the official secret act(that allow's all of us know how much the presidency spends?done for the first time)
The bringing to effect the Nigeria local content act(done for the first time)that allows Nigerian companies to exclusively supply consumables to multinationals.(75%,these companies relishes in importing those stuffs)
The setting right of the expartriate quota;ensuring that Nigerians have 75-85% of jobs by any foreign coy opening shop in nigeria, especially oil and gas jobs in any field that they duely qualify(an area where these crook oil coys with the connivance of some nigerians have been doing otherwise)a lot of those expartriate staffs who are not suppose to be here at all have since been relieved of their positions.leaving more high grossing jobs for our country people.
The YOU WIN competition that see's to it that 10million is released in phases to deserving young Nigerians.their business proposal being the weighing factor.
By the time GEJ is through with his plans for Nigerians;even you critics(you are always welcome)will agree that HE TRULLY MEANS WELL.
LONG LIVE GEJ!
LONG LIVE NIGERIANS!!
LONG LIVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA!!!
the bad side of being a PR agent is that you need to be doing a lot of on the ground research before you can watertight your facts.

The only thing that caught my attention in this long n0nsense of yours is the expartriate quota.

aside fron ToTAL whose union is fighting for the implementation of expartriate quota, loads of companies dont give a fvck!! About it,
thanks to that Gentleman in the person of the PENGSSAN president.

do you know why? Because even the Govt that proposed the said laws have no single implementation frame work.

Lemme give you some examples.

Total has being awarding its marine logistics contract to a company called ''Borboun''

i dont know how close you are to the oil and gas industry but i can tell you confidently that such contracts are major contracts and 'Borbourn' has been doing it for total for years.

Are you aware that Bourbon uses expartriate as sailors and deck hands?
Do you know what deck hand means in marine buisness? It means 'conductor'

if ''sailors'' and ''deck hands'' aka conductors are expartriates aka oyibo, how exactly is Joboy implementing his much touted, 70% indegenisation?

Are you saying that Nigerians cannot do sailors and conductor jobs?
Guy, dont make me vex.

total has rolled out another major project called OFON phase 2,DBN and other french conglomerates have the juiciest contracts and you are decieving Nigerians with your Indegenisation clap trap.

Do you know that contracts of this magnitude passed through NAPIMS under the watch of Madueke and she let it happen, listen; you can chose to be a f00l, but Jp philips is informed.

exxon mobil in the united states (being American companies) signed an MOU with a company called NAlco, for a lifetime chemical supply contract in Nigeria, another major contract approved by NAPIMS under madueke's watch.

are you saying that there are no indigenious companies that can supply chemicals to Exxon mobil?

what do you people gain in decieving Nigerians?

ordinary construction companies like setraco and Gitto use lebanese and italians for site supervision on road projects, dont you see them? Are you saying Nigerians cannot do road supervision?
Is that your 70% indigenisation?

I have a gas plant to commission, when im done, i will give you more examples.

you dont even know that indeginisation is a trick PDP cronies use to collect assets from IOC's and impoverish Nigerians the more.

Joboy's PIB is a fraud.

Sorry dear, you have been f00led again.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Releases 155-page Book On His Achievements by jpphilips(m):
author=dedeikeI don't know the document you read but I will chronicle my own assessment for you.

In Finance,
For the first time, our recurrent expenditure profile was cut down by 12% thereby increasing funds available for capital projects. Tight fiscal policies and due verification before release of funds for budget implementation. The creation and inauguration of the Soverign Wealth Fund for a three phased development.
Another Dedeike spin, Dum.b people see even urinating as an achievement, that is the way Govt is supposed to be run. if you are saying that Joboy is running the Govt right and that is an achievement, then you need medical attention.

the verification process is enshrined in OBJ's due process scheme, i still have the proposal, nothing new.
even under Joboy's verification witchdoctor, subsidy grew from 256b annually to 1.8trillion, are you not ashamed to mention accountability on your list of achievements?

lastly, what is the difference between the SWF and OBJ's excess crude revenue account? the fact that joboy changed its baptism is an achievement? you must be a sick guy.

lemme enlighten you a little, the difference in price between the international crude price and senate budgetary oil benchmark is what OBJ called excess crude account. the law made it illegal for the FG to keep it to itself alone prompting the sharing to the three tiers of Govt.

the FG's share is what joboy baptized SWF, so tell me what is the difference with what we had with OBJ? and please the account status of the SWF must be verified by world bank before i will believe anything PDP deposited there.

S!lly people

Bio metric evaluation of MDA'S  which has exposed massive corruption in police pensions and subsequent prosecution of the suspects by EFCC.  The  restoration of transperancy and due verification for subsidy claims to oil marketers by NOI.  Introduction of the new integrated online payment system which helps the minister monitor transfer of public funds across MDA's.
Dedeike, you didn't sound like an Adult, you discovered massive frauds in MDA'S then what? your Govt has not recorded even one conviction in court and you want to pass it on as an achievement? God bless your soul

if you find thieves; achievement to joboy, perhaps we need patience Jonathan to send the thieves to jail, pathetic.

you claim you achieved something by "restoring transparency in subsidy claims", let me assume you are correct, when will you restore the pump price to 65naira or less since you have caught the thieves?

why is NUPENG threatening to strike every week if you have started paying due subsidy? why has the drafts for lifting of kerosene not delivered any product at the depot since January?

you are missing a lot bro,

Our foreign reserves have risen again to a tremendous high of 41 billion dollars.
oh!! really, that sounds interesting but as usual, you are a pawn in the PDP chess game.
ask your financial witchdoctors,

why is dollar still exchanging at 160naira if you have such reserves?

your debt profile in june was $44billion and you went ahead to procure another Chinese EXIM loan of $1.1b totaling your debt profile at $45.1b, and you tell Nigerians you have reserves? is that really reserves??
what percentage of your annual budget service those debts?? same money that we could have used to strenghten our infrastructures.

by the way, OBJ left us debt less how did you get to $45.1b at the same time save $41b like you claimed, while your exchange rate remains at all time high?

is there an aspect of Economics your Economic magicians missed? or you just chose to be gullible?

In Energy, a lot of reforms. The president is keen on transparency and thus has set up probes into the sector viz KPMG AUDIT and AIG IMOUKHEDE. The president sought to close the window of corruption by removing subsidy but the cabal misled Labour into a protest. That notwithstanding, the reforms are still ongoing and the full deregulation of the downstream sector being vigorously pursued.
Ok, i did my own probe and found out that there is no cabal. your Govt are the Cabal.

if you think other wise, please answer the following questions

can you tell us who gave the final approval for all these companies to be registered and to what end?

do you know that there was an embargo to the registration of such companies during the OBJ era?
why was there an embargo?

why did someone chose to remove the embargo to welcome unscrupulous institutions that committed the biggest fraud in Nigeria's history? does it mean we were not using fuel during the Embargo?

do you know the criteria for oil lifting in Nigeria?

do you know how many of those companies you mentioned above that meets such criteria?

why was 70% of those companies licensed less than 1yr to the elections?

if you can answer the above questions then you will understand where Gbawe is coming from, any attempt to defend what you don't understand will give you a brown teeth on the day of reckoning.

In one year, the  FG had concluded the PIB which remains a landmark legislation that will revolutionarize the petroleum  industry and increase the stake of oil host communities in the management of their oil.
please tell us which part of the PIB directly affects the man on the street? quote it from the document with its implementation framework?

sharing oil and gas assets amongst politicians creating under employment in the oil industry is what you call achievement?
you must be high on kunu

Refineries are undergoing repairs and an American company, VULCAN is to build six more new refineries.
Vulcan is a fraud, accused of exporting the most substandard petroleum products to Africans, remember the bad PMS that knocked our Engines? that's the doing of your Almighty Vulcan.

which refinery is undergoing repairs? i am at eleme now and i cant see anything, what are you seeing in Abuja? which company is handling the repairs lets go check them out? what is their scope of work?

Vulcan is building or will build five refineries, please publish the MOU i want to see, tell us where Vulcan will get the oil to refine, you think you are lying to your beer parlor mates.

For the first time in this country, a govt has engaged the oil cabal in an anti graft war. We have seen EFCC take subsidy suspects to court. No one is spared. Even the sons of PDP leaders are undergoing prosecution in court for subsidy loot
You are a goat to believe that crap you wrote there, here are the companies that are not qualified for Subsidy but your Insan@ Govt paid them for 8months

Vita Cam Services ,Viva Energy Ltd ,Tamil and Tamil Nig Ltd, Fargo Int. Ltd , Mezcor Sa , Absaf Petroleum and Company Ltd, Delmar Petroleum Company Ltd, Tamzila Petroleum Company Ltd ,. A.A Rano Nig Ltd,. Fatgems Pet Co. Ltd

Crustream Nig Ltd . Dan Oil and Petrochemical Ltd . Midas Oil and Gas Ltd

who registered these companies with our subsidy programme?

why did you pay them subsidy when they did not meet import criteria?, so your Govt will see a company sign post and dash the company money just like that? and you achieved "accountability"? are you not speaking from the two compasses of your mouth?

who removed the embargo obasanjo put on the registration of such companies and to what end?

why was the companies incorporated in our subsidy regime less than one year to the elections?

now, when you say for the first time in Nigeria, what do you mean? Obj got high profile convictions like Olabode and Tafa Balogun, Buhari jailed almost a parliament, committed an ex president to house arrest, so what is revolutionary about naming thieves and not touching them?

now, who is fooling who?

In roads, Zaria-Funtua-Gusau roads, Oshodi-Apapa with expansion and drainage works,  dedicated bridge frm liverpool roundabout to Tin can ports, trailer park, re award for reconstruction of ENUGU-Onitsha, completion of OWERRI -Onitsha,    9th mile, ongoing reconstruction of Benin-Ore-Sagamu highway measuring over 26km, Kano-Maidugri Dualisation. Keffi -Akwanga-Lafia,  Auchi-Okene being handled by Setraco. Loko-Eweta-Karishi bridge, Kolo-Nembe -Brass  to mention but a few.

Just last week, govt announced the re award of abandoned Abuja-Lokoja highway and the East-West road under SURE P.

In Transport, massive reforms at the ports. Sanitisation and reduction of operating agencies to 7. Introduction of 24 hrs ports operation. Ongoing Construction of light gauge train railways. rehabilitation of Minna-Kaduna line. Award for reconstruction of Lagos-Kano railine to Chinese giants CCCEC. Abuja intercity railway's too.

In  Aviation, massive reconstruction of major airports in the land, Enugu airport is undergoing total rehabilitation. The domestic wing of Abuja airport is also being reconstructed with expansion of roads and car parks. Same fr the international wing and the kano airports. 11 terminals are also being remodelled and rehabilitated.

Just this week, the govt secured a loan facility for the construction of new airport terminals for four major cities viz, Abuja, Kano, Enugu, Port harcourt.
Basic responsibilities of a sane Govt, nothing new. japan repaired all their roads after fukushima earthquake in six freaking days, yet you want me to clap for joboy for sleeping for 2yrs

In Education, establishment of 9 new federal universities in less than 1 year. Constructed 2 new campuses of the Nigerian law schools in Yenagoa and Yola respectively. Launched the Almajiri schools for education of itenerant Islamic pupils in the north wFhich Buhari and other northern leaders abandoned. Increased funding to almost 400 billion to education thereby setting an all time highest record. Reinvigorated the inspectorate oversight of schools leading to the revocation of some licenses from universities. Executed the landmark upgrade of university lecturers retirement age from 65 to 70.
Do you know that the contractors that have finished the construction of the first phase of classroom blocks for the new Universities have not been paid since February?

those projects has been abandoned. Ngozi said they should wait for verification and while the school is waiting, Dedeike is busy counting stones and cement as achievements.

Are you aware that most Universities whose licenses were withdrawn have all reopened without a single improvement?
Madonna is a case study, make the calls and find out

In agriculture, for the first time in our history, we have a clearly defined agricultural policy which is targeted towards maximum utilisation of cassava for growth thru the launch of the cassava bread campaign. The policy is intended to reduce our reliance on imported wheat so as to encourage local production of cassava and it's conversion to flour for bakery. The FG has in less than one year eliminated the middlemen cartel that fed fat on fertiliser distribution at the expense of local farmers. Now through deregulation reforms, fertiliser is now accessible in the open market. he has also embarked on massive construction of silos and has increased import duties on the importation of rice in order to encourage local farmers. The efforts of the minister has been so appreciable that the world bank assisted with over 50 billion Naira for fertiliser redistribution scheme/ silos. The CBN has also set up a 500 billion loan scheme which is to assist farmers.
Interesting!!!!!. Dedeike, i can bet with my canine that not even you can asses that loan in question, FAO just listed Nigeria as Famine prone, how is your Agricultural policy helping out?

lest i forget, how much was the price of beans before your policy? you need deliverance, the spirit of lies is all over your keyboard

In power, the NIPP has been revived with the subsequent refurbishment of Afam, Alaoji, Calabar, GEREGU, Omotosho, Ihvbour, Egbema, power plants. This has led to the all time generation record of 4,477megawatts.

To address the problem of distribution,  the 18 successor companies have been slated for privatization.  The media is already awash with news of the proposed privatization. The reforms include the review of tariffs in order to ensure a cost reflective tariff that will encourage private sector participation in the building of gas plants. Already, this has started yielding dividends as SPDC has commenced processes towards building a gas plant in IMO state.
I am happy that you spoke the only truth worth commending on the bold part of your quote, i am glad you gave honor to Gen. obasanjo, whose ground breaking NIPP you are "Reviving".

when is your NIPP going to come onstream? you hired a technocrat who organized the NIPP no doubt, has jona completed even one power plant in his tenure? ok, lemme soft pedal, one transmission station? i mean to construct and commission from scratch? what about one PHCN office? abi should i go down to transformer?

Guy, NIPP whether you are reviving, consolidating, byfurcating, comatosizing etc. it is the Landmark of Obasanjo, not even your witch doctors can phantom a programme of that magnitude.

OBJ has the glory. Jona's NIPP is still a promise and wishful talk. that cannot materialize now that he has lost his Power Gem.

that Reminds me, my Rats in Govt are saying that your president has acquired 70% stake in the eligible power companies considered for the privatization? lol is it true? you Oga is busy hassling for OBJ's NIPP, shameless people, where is your Own?
I am grateful for Obj's NIPP that brought light to my bulb, not Jona that is commissioning and stealing them.

The best Petroluem minister ever, Diezani Allison Madueke, has responded to the  emergency need for gas supply to the power stations by completing several gas projects and pipelines to evacuate gas to the NIPP's.

She has successfully  completed the 27kmX24inch permanent gas supply pipeline from Itoki to Olorunshogo via Ewekoro, all in Ogun State; the 56kmX24inch Escravos-Warri gas pipeline - doubling the pipeline capacity and enhancing gas evacuation from Escravos, as well as the 130kmX36inch Oben to Geregu pipeline.

The grand effect is the significant improvement of power nationwide.
If a cake fraud like Madueke is the best this administration can produce, then i am not surprised that Jonathan has already failed.

BTW, why do you need to publish articles of your achievements, they should be speaking for themselves, it shows your failure is irredeemable, shame on you

Politics › Re: Obasanjo - Ghaddafi’s Fall Fuelled Boko-Haram by jpphilips(m): 10:09am On Sep 17, 2012
koruji: OBJ did not create much.

He was fortunate to have ruled as oil prices took a skyward trip - that is the long and short of it. All those other things followed from there.

I think OBJ's major economic accomplishment was opening up the communications sector, but indeed the ground for this was prepared by advocates who worked tirelessly for many years. Still, he saw the opportunity and worked with them - kudos there. Kudos also to him for negotiating reductions and paying much of our international debt off, as well as saving some of the excess funds from oil.

He also had a small amount of success in exposing corruption, but that was because of Ribadu.

Otherwise, OBJ was a failure on electricity, petroleum, privatization, infrastructure, administration of justice, education, health and even foreign relations, despite his many travels. His result on security is definitely mixed, which is to say nothing to write home about.

He was particularly a daylight bandit with respect to elections.

GEJ is trying to make a mark with electricity and infrastructure. We don't know what will come of those yet, but he is woeful on security, corruption, petroleum, education, health, privatization, and foreign relations again despite incessant travels.
that post you are quoting was meant for someone that said OBJ failed in employment creation, no where in your post flaws that, guess we are in agreement.

Talking about where you said OBJ failed and joboy succeded, did you quote out of tension, or you have facts to back up your claims?

you said GEJ is "TRYING" to make a mark on Electricity, "trying" is not an accomplishment, guess we have to disagree there again. i hate people that "try". i love people that deliver
.

when you said he tried on electricity, are you saying that Joboy's administration of less that 2yrs has successfully started and completed one single power project from scratch?

can you mention them? or because electricity improved in you area, you now think that joboy did it? where are your facts on that?

there is no major power project that has been completed in less than 2yrs in any part of the world, so don't let dedeike and co deceive you.

Joboy brought a technocrat who organized what obasanjo already has on ground. there is no power plant or transmission project started from scratch by joboy that has been completed. so the improvement in power is a fall out of OBJ's 2006 NIPP. abi you are getting electricity from uncompleted projects?

joboy is just stealing OBJ's glory.

when you said joboy is making a mark on infrastructure, how do you mean? are you talking about roads? though joboy in 2yrs has no completed any ground breaking road project, i can bet with my left test!s that there is no road joboy will resurface today that OBJ did not touch.

the question should be, will the next president resurface them again? please you can highlight the other infrastructures you have in mind, i wanna update.

when you say Joboy is "trying" with petroleum, how do you mean? is it not high time we define what "trying" means to you because it seems we are not on the same page on the definition of trying.

joboy landed us the biggest energy crisis in our history and you call that trying? how much was PMS during OBJ's tenure? how much is it today? how much was subsidy with obj? how much is it today?

joboy enthroned the most corrupt beast in human history as petroleum minister and you call that trying?

Or you think you pay the same bill with breweries and plastic companies?

Kobojunkie: What is good light? If you are charged at the same rate as others with or without prepaid, there is no way you can get the same amount of electricity as they do and pay less. Prepaid simply means you pay before use. Non-prepaid simply means you pay AFTER use. If at the same rate, there is not much of a difference really or there should not be.
i dont knw ur position on this but i still remember vividly when i told you the NIPP structure is heavily flawed.

I equally warned you that by the time we see steady electricity, most Nigerians wont afford it. The issues i raised was commonsensical but as usual, neither you nor beaf could see the end of the road.

Ok, The IOC's in Nigeria flare gases to the tune of 2.3billion usd annually, and being operators for NNPC, our Govt is complicit too.

The NIPP was supposed to address that, but as usual due to shortcut and thoughtless plans of the our leaders, we opted to collect a more expensive gas.

I was explaining that the AGG projects are expensive as such, the gas to fire the turbines are expensive as well. The Govt had no buisness using that expensive gas because the end user will suffer.

The flared gases was ideal for the NIPP, i said it but you guys wont listen.

Except for Gas plants fired by NGC (our local gas producer), we have not seen the worst yet, God help us, the price of gas increases on the international front due to exploration inadequacies,
then you will realize the mess our leaders have made..

Enjoy your fresh fart and please dont tell me jona cannot be held liable, he is taking the glory for the power improvement already.

i will paste that thread to refresh your memory.

sadeiyare: Truth be told ; Before now, some nigerians where paying next to nothing for electricity. I can't wait for PHCN to publish names of their debtors in dailies, you be shocked that the total money owed will be enough to build 21st century electricity from the scratch for the whole nigeria and it west african environs.

Qusetion : Do Aso-Rock pay electricity bills ? Every year when the Queen of England is on vacation, the palace is opened for torist and the money made goes to servicing electricity fittings, bills e.t.c
you sound like you dont know Nigeria, the name of the landlord who registered the house will be published not the tenant who incured the bill.

My bill for August increased from #2,700 to #5,000 and i feel its OK cos the 3k petrol i always buy every week is there un-used for the past 2months. I will be conserving power like I do in UK and see what the result will be. I was surprised when i saw my generator repairer riding okada this morning grin I asked him why change of job, his smile alone gave me the answer. Nigeria is getting better.
guy, be specific, say you area is getting better not Nigeria.

My Generator repairer just acquired a bigger shop, ph is still in darkness no difference.

No wonder the chairman of MAN remarked that 250 factories have come to be established in the last one year.
it doesn't pay to be s!lly. Alliance autos is just a sub dealer of Nissan not even an African sole franchise.

alliance is not in a position to speak for Nissan motor corporation on where and when to build plants.

Even if they claim to be quoting them, Nissan should talk to our Govt through the foreign affairs ministry if there is an iota of truth here.

A simple feasibility studies if at all Nissan ever considered it will be to build it in Ghana, then export to the whole of west Africa Nigeria inclusive.

Why? Because Nigerian leaders have murdered every chance the nation has on foreign investment of this nature.

As a reminder, 95% of brand new toyotas sold in Nigeria are Assembled in south Africa,

why would Nissan be s!lly to manufacture/assemble in Nigeria if toyota is not complaining?

Use your head bro! Don't try to score cheap points for your clueless masters

henrychubayo: Sad news. Nigeria is a pity. Do you guys know that south african govt hospitals are free of charge nor matter the kind of sickness you suffer and how long you stay? All the equipment are bought for their use and if case may be, and all necessary things an ailing person needs are provided free of charge which includes whealchair, clutches, drugs and many more. Private hospitals don't move much here cause govt is free why would you go for private unless you want but not force to. Their insurance is excellent. If our sister is here, she would have forgotten about the surgery cause insurance would have paid it for here. Why can't our govt do the same in nigeria. Thanks to some governors who provide free maternal health care which includes women and children. We need more and we need to mike things work like every other place
it is not working here because of corruption, your people back home enjoy voting the most corrupt political party in the world, because they are given a bag of rice in exchange for their votes and at the expense of their lives in the long run.

of what use is religion to mankind?
Fear of death? But we all die.

Eternal life? So we are told
to avoid hell? Half of the world's population are already living in hell.

Why do we believe in a superior being? Because it manifests itself through its powers.

Do we really need those powers? Perhaps to scale through the hurdles of life.
But a lot of us die in these hurdles, does it mean the powers are manifested in only a few?

There is God no doubt, there are gods no doubt nevertheless, is it clear what these Gods want from mankind?

To be saved i guess, how did we land in to trouble in the first place?
Through choices we made i guess.

How did we come about the choices? Same God in his infinite wisdom made them.

Is mankind being set up by religion?
Hmmmmm....., if religion doesnt save mankind, whatelse can?

Hmmmm.., are the choices of mankind equally limitedhuh

The same guy at like 40yrs come to his 70yr old moms house to steal money and sleep with her apprentices(the mom is a tailor and has a lot of female teenage and early twenties apprentice)
have seen something similar, one cute dude was drunk during his wedding reception and when asked to give the vote of thanks, he echoed

"ladies and gentlemen, i thank you all for honoring this remarkable moment of graduation from a fornicator to an adulterer"

the pastor just ran away from the venue.

another is an Anglican priest who in a bid to call up a hymn said;

"open to ancient and modern 235naira", the congregation immediately shouted, "it is not time for offering yet" a local church though

Its nothing but a distraction Satan is using to cause many not to listen to the voice of God. Texting, playing games, surfing the internet, etc., but if you have the Bible open, you cannot just push a button or touchscreen and surf, etc.
