TastyFriedPussy: You can create a separate event listener that makes exactly 15.3 API calls to the database and pushes the response to the childNodes array. But make sure you configure the Event listener to use restapi features... Whenever someone asks for help, u hardly help them, all u do is make things look more complex |

Hannania: Hello guys! So in a 24hrs period, I spend close to 14hrs attached to either my system or phone. Got really busy from sept last year when I got my system. Elite book G3. The problem now is, my right eye is cloudy, and sometimes gets red.
I love tech and research, and that's what I can do in a room for 1 week straight without getting bored. I'm not fully a nerd, but probably my introverted nature contributed to it.
I got anti blue ray glasses around dec, but no much difference. Please for those with similar predicament before, what's the remedy.
I'll appreciate if modes push this to front page. Not ready to lose my sight. There should always be light when u r coding, using ur PC or phone when everywhere is dark is the main cause, cuz the light rays is directly entering ur eyes |
Programming › Re: A Pomodoro App Built With Vue Js by JsScript(op): 1:40pm On Sep 27, 2022 |
GREATIGBOMAN: Nice UI
but I think it will be better to add some more things
Like when I set a particular duration say 20 mins and want to switch to another one.... I should be notified that there's one I have already.
Currently now if I set a Timer.... the app just allows me switch to another one without the previous one being completed.
It doesn't notify me of current timer after.
Even more cool I think each pomodora should have a title.
And I should be able to see history of the Pamodora I've done with their titles.
Also there should be this..... I would believe it will be nice if the app has an auto version..... Like once I set 15 minutes, and 15 minutes elapse.... the app should pause give me like 10 mins break depending on how I've set it.... after 10 minutes, it automatically starts again .
There's no limit to the amount of minutes I can set.... if I set minutes to 2500000 it just breaks the design of the app.... I believe if u convert every minute great that 60 to hours, and hours greater than 24 to days, then weeks then months then years n so on... it should fix that.
Last but not the least.... since there's no user authentication yet.... The current app should work with Localstorage.... so that if I set a time and refresh the page.... the timer will still continue from where I left of instead of starting afresh Thanks GREATIGBOMAN for ur feedback, Actually there is a time range for the max and min values, but it's not working on mobile, I had to do some coding to enable the min value but forget about the max value. And for the other features you mentioned, I'll look into that. |

LikeAking: explain more ...
I no understand.. Pomodoro App are straightforward time management tools — giving you a digital way to track 25 minutes, followed by a 5 minute short break or 15 minutes long break. But the time can be customized to suit your needs. |

A pomodoro app I built with Vue js. According to Wikipedia: The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It uses a kitchen timer to break work into intervals, typically 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. Each interval is known as a pomodoro, from the Italian word for tomato, after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo used as a university student. Pls rate I'm open for work http://timer-jdfc./ |

Do you have a better way I can achieve the same result? Please help. why don't you just use input type number in your HTML, instead of trying to check if input is a number or not |

Awesome I must say. Please is this an online project or your personal work.
Hey guys, I created this simple budget app because I was kinda bored and don't know what to do. Frontendmentor "expenses chart component" project influenced me to build this project. It was fun to build and I also learned some new Reactjs tricks & tips along the line. I used, Reactjs, Redux-toolkit, chartjs, localStorage for this project. The live link is down below https://trybudget.netlify.app/https://github.com/FesoQue/ExpenseTrackerYour criticism is highly welcome... And I also need suggestion for features I can add too!
|

I have to confess, the C project is seriously frustrating, especially when "Betty" marks the task with error, you have to keep redoing it until you got it. Good evening Please how do I us termux on my phone, it's telling me to install openssh or dropbear, even after installing its still not working
Just having the knowledge of C isn't enough to get you through the projects if you don't jot down the command lines.
Below are pictures of my script for C and after running it with Betty, it returned error. |

CapedBaldy: Hi guys, I'm a self taught Frontend developer and I need tips on ways I can monetize this skill. I am proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, NextJS and Tailwind.
My initial plan when I started learning to code was to make money with freelancing. I'm approaching a year on upwork and I have not made one dollar. I also tried fiverr with no luck. I recently started applying for frontend roles at companies but I also have no luck with those. I keep getting rejection emails regularly.
I would like advice on how I can make money with this skill. I'm a student and i've invested a lot of time and money into learning this. This situation is becoming very frustrating.
Please give me tips on how I can earn some money with this skill. Hi, I'm also a newbie like u, can we chat on WhatsApp |

TheManOfTheYear: What airsaylongcome stated is true. One of the US based start-ups I applied to just reached out to me to proceed with my interview process.
They are based in Delaware, which I believe has like 6 hours difference.
Well, they are giving me a take-home test, but I'm to submit in 3 days. This is definitely easier as compared to the one the Europe based start-up gave me.
I'm on it already. Everything is overwhelming at this point. I'd stop making further applications for now If I may ask please, what are to asked to do in the take home test |

Princevirus: Please house I'm a kind of being confused right now.
I have been learning python for a while now. I have known most of the things I should know as a beginner but it still appear to me that I don't know what it could be used for. Recently something brought me in contact with html and I discovered that I know better of it's use case than python. So headache now is should I abandon the python I have already gone far in and start html or I should put html on hold and finish with python first?
I also feel that html is easier for me than python.
Please I need advice from experience. You can do both, HTML is not a big deal |
