You religious nutjobs are genuinely washed from head to toe in lies and manipulation! sad sad sad
Even if the 16 million figure being circulated by the yellow press and gossip blogs is correct, is the topic here his net worth or whether he lived a simple life - which you yourself have seen clear evidence that he did in some aspects of his life?

His life compared with that of a pauper - in some ways. If you can't see that, something is wrong with your thought process.

He complied with the demands of his office, in the open, for the cameras, but in private, where Junkie can't see him to praise or cuss, where there were no cameras, he slept like a pauper.

Because he spent x number of hours sleeping in a room like that each day, we should all then turn a blind eye to the fact that the same man lived his life served in lavish manner all the other hours of each of his day? 🙄🙄🙄🙄
It's a lesson in focusing on what what's really important. The room served its purpose for him: sleeping. He slept alone, so he maintained a bed that fit just one person. There's a deep spiritual meaning here.

His office demanded that he should be served. But when it came to what he had control over, where he sleeps, he implemented his worldview.

Only God knows how much someone like Ooni spends on a monthly basis.

When I think of the monthly expenses of my modest self, Ooni's monthly expenses will be mouth watering. How does he cope huh Each wife probably needs N5m or more per month in maintenance.

I don't think the amount he gets from the State/local government monthly can cover 20% of what he spends.

Rolls Royces, Private jets, Helicopters, best hotels, entourage, high-maintenance wives, best schools for children etc

To be Ooni no be small thing o.

Those who would die "a several times" are those not used to that kind of situation and have phobia for large water bodies. I know because I have lived in a riverine area where the only means of transportation was boats and sometimes even canoes.

She wasn't the only one in the boat and I don't think she was traumatized as you think if not she wouldn't go there the next day to board again. She overacted based on who she's and you're now joining her to escalate things without mentioning how exactly she was at risk.

How did they endangered her life? Tell me please

And have heard from the management of the ferry before concluding they acted irresponsibly.

Don't judge yet until you hear from the other party.
At bolded. Na which one we dey talk before?

I believe they endangered the lives of the passengers by taking off with insufficient fuel. There are usually no petrol stations in the water, so once you're stranded there, you rely on luck to find another boat with extra fuel or you call for a refuelling boat which may not be anywhere nearby at the time. If a heavy vessel happens to pass, the waves can capsize the boat. Rain can also start falling, followed by wind, which can capsize the boat. Yes, they had life jackets, but those have been known to fail. Some passengers will even wear them wrongly. Even when worn correctly, they can fail.

She wasn't at any risk ,but probably because of her phobia for wild body of water she thought she was .

The boat wasn't leaking

It wasn't experiencing any turbulence as they wait for fuel

And moreover, she had a Life jacket on.

So what was there to be afraid of that she had to record it and post on social media to spoil business for the ferry owners?

Or was she afraid that some "mamy water" would capsize the boat?

Well, Instead of refusing her boarding, the managers of the ferry should have educated her that there was nothing to be afraid of in the situation they found themselves so she could stay calm incase it happens again.
A lot of people would die inside several times in that situation. And some would make videos to pass the time and cope with the trauma.

But why are you not concerned about the the total irresponsibility of the boat managers and their reckless endangerment of human lives? This was not an act of God.

In philosophy there’s something called utilitarianism. For the greater good to the most people.
Did Emefiele abuse his office? Yes!
Did Nigerians live better during his tenure? Yes! I benefited from PTA and form A and so did a lot of people I know.
I also know people who benefited from form A for medical tourism.

I know businesses that benefited from form M.
So it’s grossly parochial to ignore the glaring benefits of the system they had in place vis-a-vis what we have today.

The problem was employing a noble CBN governor and not destroying the system.

FYI, the corruption at all levels of governance has worsened CBN inclusive.

Also, you will do well to look up forecasting in business, it’s very essential because policy somersault is an enemy to it.
Bolded sounds like Personalitarianism or Whoyouknowlitarianism. Because I know many businesses that did NOT benefit from "CBN rate". In fact, the vast majority of businesses, including those trading "allowed items", did not – that was the problem I had with it. And it's far more utilitarian to remove to dual system and put in place a single system that benefits everyone equally. Surely a scholar like yourself who has studied Jeremy Bentham knows that.

FYI, there's no proof of red. There's even no reason to assume it. It's just the sort of thing people say inside danfo: 'those there now are even worse sef...'

And it's really interesting to see someone describe Emefiele as "better" at anything or in any way.

One example, for business owners it destroyed their ability to project and killed investors confidence. At the time no one knew where the naira would settle and that’s bad for businesses.
Pair that with loan repayments, deliverables etc then you’d understand why a lot of multinationals left.
But there's no evidence that these problems were created by floating.

What people don't seem to know is that the naira was artificially propped up on stilts during the Buhari/Emefiele era (Meffy held back funds earned by multinationals and allowed false foreign reserve figures to be reported). Emefiele kept that situation in place to enrich himself and a few cronies to the tune of billions since an unfloated naira (dual market) enabled him to roundtrip. Once the new administration removed those stilts by releasing dollars to pay its debt to multinationals while allowing correct figures to be reported, the naira was bound to fall in value - even if floating hadn't been done. Floating, though, was necessary - to stop the kind of looting bazar that Emefiele and others enacted and to eliminate an "official rate" that did not benefit the real sector.

Labour Party Presidential Candidate in 2023, Peter Obi on Wednesday joined Francis Cardinal Arinze, global dignitaries, and thousands of mourners at St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome, to pay final respects to His Holiness, *Pope Francis* , who passed away on April 21. The solemn lying-in-state ceremony was a moment of deep reflection, as the world bids farewell to a man who embodied humility, simplicity, and selfless service.

Obi on a Facebook post, said Pope Francis was more than a Pontiff; he was a moral light in a world darkened by inequality and indifference. Peter Obi said said Pope's life was a testament to leadership as a sacred duty, one rooted in compassion, truth, and service to the poor and marginalised.

Peter Obi also said he is Rome to appreciate what Pope stood for after his appointment as a member of Scholars Occultantes - an international circle of thinkers the Pope Francis founded during his time as Archbishop. The organisation, dedicated to truth, ethical leadership, and social transformation.

How DPO ManCenter, CSP Ayo Elijah Rejected N20 Millionaire Bribe From Arrested Ritual Suspects

By Oki Samson
GODSPOWERPROJECT

Does Nigeria have quality police officers with a good record of honesty and integrity? Yes, she does. Not all Police officers are bad, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

The remarkable story of the DPO of the ManCenter police division, CSP Ayo Elijah who recently demonstrated sheer integrity with the rejection of a Twenty Million Naira (NGN 20 Millionaire) bribe to cover up a criminal case is one fantastic example of several faithful Police officers in the Nigeria Police Force who are working quietly to keep our society safe and secure.

Acting on an Intel from a taxi driver that a young woman is held captive in an Ikeja hotel, CSP Ayo Elijah personally led his team to Definite Destiny Hotel, Balogun, Ikeja where the lady was tied with heavy chains on both hands and feet with the mouth also under lock inside one of the hotel rooms by two men who had severally raped her and possibly might have killed her but for the timely intervention of the ManCenter DPO.

The woman had been picked from Murtala Mohammed International Airport to the hotel by the taxi driver. Perhaps seeing that she is in deep trouble, the lady sent a SOS message to the taxi driver who promptly involved the Police.

The two suspects, realizing that the only way they could be left off the hook, decided to bribe CSP Ayo Elijah with the huge sum indicating that they would make the transfer immediately if he played ball with them.

Not denying the ethics of his profession, CSP Ayo Elijah who won the prestigious Trek Africa Best DPO of the Year 2024 award last December and recently The Pride Newspaper Most Outstanding DPO of the Year stood his ground against the huge tempting cash reward. It is believed that the MAN Center's DPO, CSP Ayo Elijah will continue to demonstrate standards, honesty, and integrity in his policing career.

Thank You Jesus,
Good one, CSP Elijah
