The Lagos Rail Revolution is an enviable feat. Although several major cities have been enjoying such transport system many years before now it is a commendable feat.

I wonder why Delta State with our Huge allocation cannot do something like this.

Even the Uduaghan Bus that helped masses those days have all been converted to Agofure bus
When it comes to having the worst governors, I think after awarding the gold to Ogun State I'd seriously consider Delta State for the silver. Seriously.

The now very popular Blue Line has become a blessing to commuters who live along the Lagos- Badagry expressway, especially folks who commute between Lagos State University, Agric, Okoko, Trade Fair, FESTAC, Satellite, Mile 2, Amuwo, Kirikiri, Orile, Coker, Iganmu, Lagos Island and surrounding environments.
Which is the nearest station to Alaba International Market?

It was terrorists that stormed their school and took them hostage. So Putin did what Putin does: send in tanks and bombs and missiles and soldiers and batons and riffles and pistols and bombs (did I mention that before?) and kill everything in sight.

Sometimes, I wish i lived in a diff era to this
I so much wanna see what it feels like to live in an era of minimal tech advancement(Stone-age) and my curiousity about the future badly makes we wanna see what the peak of tech advancement would look like

I want to see Humans send Robots into the Space, i want to see their findings. That will further solidify the Gods existence claim

But its still fine, I will be dead by 2124, so either way, I will sure know the truth about God's existence in my grave
Interesting. Why do you think it's important to know?

You’re correct. Until Death Sentence is approved for Cultism, this is just an exercise in futility.

A Governor seeking re-election or a fresh Gubernatorial aspirant will soon set him free to do their dirty political killings.

What is the net contribution of those countries to ECOWAS purse, zero.

I just don't get it. Those coup-plotting thugs prefer Putin. Let them go, but Ecowas is embarrassing itself for reasons not beyond some people's ego.

No he didn't. He didn't pursue any legal means after negotiation with Amosun, Tinubu' and Akande failed. He didn't go through the court at all.
Read it again. He chose1/2 payment over going to court because our courts can't relied on enforce contracts in a TIMELY manner. What's the use of going to court if it's your grandchildren that will finish the case? It's part of why Nigeria can't progress for now.

No he's not right. Utomi already said he took the 100m to avoid being tied up in court forever. People don't find our courts to be reliable for timely enforcement of contracts. That's why Nigeria isn't progressing.

Politics › Re: Court Ask EFCC To Prevent Beer Bottles Destruction, Says It's Economic Sabotage by JuanDeDios: 12:39pm On Aug 18, 2024
FreeStuffsNG:
Kano has 44 LGAs. It's very expensive to cover by Hisbah. I am sure the enforcement of other laws apart from bottles breaking needs attention. I believe that many of us are not knowledgeable about the Sharia law. The breaking of the bottles may have been the recommendation from the Islamic rulings. Giving to NAFDAC will still be considered based on Islamic law books. It's not even an absolute alternative to breaking the bottles. The Islamic Law authorities and experts will advise accordingly.
Exactly. That's the point - law enforcement is grossly underfunded in Kano, like the rest of Nigeria. That is why wasting (and remember the subject matter here is waste) scarce resources on breaking bottles is merely compounding the problem and can't be rationalized from an economic perspective.

Politics › Re: Court Ask EFCC To Prevent Beer Bottles Destruction, Says It's Economic Sabotage by JuanDeDios: 8:07am On Aug 18, 2024
FreeStuffsNG:
The cost on law enforcement is not regarded as economic wastage. The Hisbah was set up by law as a law enforcement agency. So it would argue that if the crime wasn't committed, the funds spent on the enforcement would be used for enforcement of other laws not returned to the treasury.
@bolded. Really? Funny.

Yes, the cost of law enforcement is not regarded as economic wastage. But that's because law enforcement protects the public and prevents economic losses. Now, we're talking about superfluous enforcement, the enforcement of waste.

FreeStuffsNG:
I think the Hisbah should confiscate and fine the culprits heavily then handover the bottles to NAFDAC.

To destroy such huge number of bottles itself costs a lot of money so this argument is weak since they are equally expending resources to destroy the bottles.
May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
I'm sure you meant - so this argument is strong because in addition to the cost of the alcohol and bottles destroyed, they are incurring additional economic waste by expending resources on the destruction.
