Kobicove: I don't think this woman is Nigeria's first female pilot...if I'm not mistaken I think there was another female pilot before her (the one who was murdered by her domestic servant over 15 years ago).
By the way I'm Igbo, just in case any of you stupid tribal bigots want to attack me! I think you're talking of Captain Hadiza Oboh (from Edo State, born in 1959). It's said she was the first female pilot of Nigeria Airways then. I don't know if Captain Onyemucheya became a pilot before Oboh, though. |

Moventist: After Kaduna, is PH in Population. Don't be deceived
Nasarawa has 13 LGAs with 7 heavy Christian. Karu alone is almost like 30℅ of the state which is the most populated and is Christian dominated, also , Akwanga, N/Eggon, Kokona, Obi , Keana and Doma are heavy pulated LGAs with small size of Muslims. In Adamawa 16 of the 21 LGAs are predominantly Christians. Adamawa North and South Are predominantly Christians while Muslims are mostly in the Central I see. But how come Ad and Nas mostly produce Muslim governors and senators? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Christian Population In Africa 2024, By Country by JuanDeDios: 12:20am On Jul 22, 2024 |
Moventist: Aside from Abaji in Abuja the remaining 5 are predominantly Christians. FCT has more 75% Christians. Imagine saying Port Harcourt which is 4th largest city in Nigeria is not populated more than Ibadan of past glory of largest city in West Africa. Nasarawa , Adamawa, Plateau, Benue and Taraba are predominantly Christians States. Borno has 30% Christians, Kogi and Niger are almost 40℅ each. Aside Osun and Oyo state that has sizeable number of Muslims slightly above 50 ℅ the remaining southern states are thickly Christians PH has that many people now? Doesn't change a thing though. I won't argue Abuja with you, but Adamawa and Nasarawa are not majority Christian. And in the Christian South, you will find Lagos, which is around 40% Muslim, and Edo, where Edo North Sen District is around 60% Muslim. |

Is as if you live in the north before walahi Wait you don't know that Nasarawa, Kogi and Oyo have more Muslims than Christians? |

Telltruth123: Ogun The indegines of Lagos State, the majority of them are Muslims, that is the fact. Muslims are more than christians in Nigeria, check from the last presidential election. Also check from the Senate members. Lagos is majority Christian. Among the indigenes, Muslims are more, but among overall residents, Christians are more. Ogun has more Christians than Muslims. |

Kobojunkiee: The profile of this supposed lawmaker does not show any other possible source of income except for working in the Nigerian government since 2019. That elaborate life and lifestyle courtesy of the destiny and future of the Nigerian people. A Naira 64,220,000.00 car in this economy. Yet Ajero went up there and collected only Naira 70,000 for workers as minimum wage, beating his chest that he did a great job at that. Kai! Looks like a tokunbo though. No way that car cost sixty-wetin-wetin million. |

Moventist: You're wrong! Christians are about 63℅ in Nigeria
Check major cities in Nigeria that are dominated by Christians: Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Jos, and even Kaduna are 55/45 in favor of Muslims. Aside from Kano and Bauchi which major cities are dominated by Muslims? Non Christians are majority in 22 states and FCT You have look state (see my last post). Christians are slightly more than Moslems in Lagos but you're wrong about Abuja. All the state capitals in the north (apart from two or three) are Moslem-dominated. Port Harcourt and Jos are not more populated than Ibadan, Oshogbo or Kano, which are basically Moslem cities. |

God1000: I believe christian and Muslim population in Nigeria is 50/50, so the actual christian population should be around 100million or so.
The purpose of this thread isn't to cause fight but to educate ourselves Christians are NOT half of Nigeria's population. There's evidence that Moslems are slightly more than Christians and make up around 50% of the population. Christians make up around 40% while Traditionalists and non-aligned make up the rest. |

GeneralPula: FG stance is the same with the same stance they’ve got for all other private investors - which is for them to elevate & enterprise well..
What you’re seeing is a battle dangote wouldn’t be surprise it evolved. If you want to start cement tomorrow, you’ll also meet dangote / cement cabals that would wanna ensure you don’t get it right..
Just be patient and be observing.. Hmm. The cabal. Well, the same company enjoyed full cooperation from the Buhari-Emiefele administration, and the NNPC and the CBN gave them more things than they should've. So something has clearly changed. |

GeneralPula: You’re even confused..
You didn’t know FG stand yet you’re making baseless accusations.
Dangote knows those he’s having issues with. Leave them to drag ham. The top is not for a dull man. Whoever wins wins: either ways, whoever wins won’t benefit an average Nigerian in any way.. What is FG's stance, boss? I've listened to NNPC and Nasdac or Nasprda (which are as FG as you get). But I'm sure you know something I don't. |
Politics › Why Does The Tinubu Administration Seem to Be Fighting Dangote Refinery? by JuanDeDios(op): 11:39am On Jul 20, 2024 |
From the NNPC disinvesting its shareholding (from 20% to 7.2%, saying the refinery "does not align with our strategic interest" ) to that funny statement by that Nasdac abi Nasprda fellow, all is not well between FG and Dangote. This is a project that is clearly and badly needed by this country. We need it to work!
So what's the FG's angle? You have any idea? |

To those of you saying trash about sane societies..you should know that as long as humans make up the society, there will always be disturbances. The difference is how often these happens and what the response is from the Government to correct it while punishing those responsible without fear or favour.

ALTERNATEID: He belongs to the category of sensible and reasonable Nigerians who understands the economic situation of the country and appreciate the efforts Mr. President is making to rescue the country from her economic challenges.
Hopefully, the moderators who pushed the blatant lies in Dele Momodu’s post to front page will also push this well articulated response to front page at the right time as well for balanced reading. Please point out the lies in Momodu's post. He may have reached a bit in terms of his conclusions, but the fact is that Omokri doesn't get it. While Omokri's facts are mostly correct, the average Nigerian has seen a dip in his standard of living and more and more people are slipping into grinding poverty. Inflation is still on the rise and the exchange rate is far from stable. The wastage of public resources that Momodu highlighted is a huge issue. How can you be obsessed with legacy superhighways when farmers can't evacuate their produce to the cities because of no rural roads? What is the the state of interstate roads? Go take a look at the road between Obajana and Edo State and you'll see how much price of cement would come down in Edo in that road is fixed. And the standard gauge rail project? Yet presidential jets are more important. These are the issues. |
