No stay of execution has been granted. Moreover it is the same court that gave the judgement that will grant the stay of execution which I doubt will happen.

Shawbury has immunity now and can't be arrested
I don't think Basil minds immunity at all. He will arrest Shawbury.

The Edo State House of Assembly, on Wednesday, appealed the judgement by Hon. Justice J. K. Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja, which set aside the impeachment of the State’s former deputy governor, Philip Shaibu.

The State Assembly has also filed a stay of execution on the judgement pending appeal.

Below is the notice of appeal and stay of execution filed by the Assembly.
But this appeal is filed by the AG, not the House.

Even though I don't have hope in this government but can't fault this.

Stop rushing children into adulthood, it's irresponsible

In the so called saner climes, what is the age benchmark for University entry?

Now the govt must make sure no more strike and 4 years = 4 years.
Name the "saner clime" countries where 16 year olds are barred from university.

Generally, how many footballers have the privilege to rep their Senior team in any Major comp at 18, even Messi wasnt called up till 2006 and he wasnt under-18 then

Good Call by Jamb cheesy
There are many "exceptional cases" who can be in university before they turn 18. Most top scorers in UTME are below 18. Hustle hard to send your kids to school in Ghana or Togo. This is a terrible idea.

“These international trading arms are non-value adding middlemen who sit abroad and earn margin from crude being produced and consumed in Nigeria. They are not bound by Nigerian laws and do not pay tax in Nigeria on the unjustifiable margin they earn.

“The trading arm of one of the IOCs refused to sell to us directly and asked us to find a middleman who would buy from them and then sell to us at a margin. We dialogued with them for 9 months and in the end, we had to escalate to NUPRC who helped resolve the situation,” Edwin stated.

Now the big question is; What exactly have these states done with their federal allocation, particularly the top 5 oil producing states Delta, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa, and Lagos

When you look at infrastructure in Bayelsa, you will weep.
Akwa Ibom has a lot to show for it. It's Delta I don't get what they do with theirs. Lagos is not an oil-producing state. High-allocation state because of population, yes. But that also means it has a lot of people to spend on. And one can actually see evidence of the billions in Lagos - maybe just not as much as one would expect.

A farmer plants on his land, for instance, reaps bountifully without drought, disease or herders clash. If I say “more money for the farmer” upon harvest or pre-harvest does that imply I’m demonizing the farmer?
Yeah, wrong interpretation, I guess.
