It is “respond if you please”. Not please respond.
So to you, there's a real difference them.

"Respond if you please" is what is called a transliteration. "Please respond" is how a native English speaker would say it, so that's the correct translation.

Even with my modest grasp of the law, I know that intercepting phone calls is a serious offence. Intercepting the NSA’s calls? That’s not just bold, that’s auditioning for a courtroom drama.

When the narrative eventually upgrades to phrases like “terrorism financing” and “sensitive intelligence,” the penny will drop.

Which makes one wonder, how does a former governor and minister miss something this obvious? Was he on drugs?
That's why I don't get when they go on and on about how "intelligent" he is. Half the things he says and does don't sound intelligent to me at all.

a bag of those chicken feed if sold can fetch roughly 20k. That is a whole lot of money for a petty thief
If they're 25kg bags, yes, they can RETAIL for 15-18k.

What I don't get is how they'll SELL them. The manufacturer/wholesaler who was running the truck has a supply chain in place, these guys don't.

How can you rob this humongous and overloaded truck?

How you wan carry'am run? How do you sell'am quickly or cashify it?

That's what I find puzzling. Steal chicken feed? Maybe they wanted to go into the poultry business.

“Treat Daddy as Your God” — UK Nigerian Mum, Kids Kneel in Emotional Video

A woman gathered her children to have a heartfelt conversation about their father’s sacrifices and struggles.

She recounted the many challenges the family has faced together over the years.

She explained that their father works 12 hours every day to provide for the household and ensure their well-being.

She revealed that during a period when the family was at risk of losing their legal permission to remain in the UK, he became deeply overwhelmed.

At his lowest point, he felt crushed by the pressure and was willing to sacrifice everything for his family.

The mother openly expressed profound appreciation for her husband’s resilience and dedication.

In a touching moment, she and the children knelt down together to thank their father for all he has done for the family.

Politics › Re: DIGs Likely To Retire After Tunji Disu’s Appointment by JuanDeDios: 10:11am On Feb 25
seunmsg:
Promotion on merit in the police ends at deputy commissioner of police. Promotion to commissioner, AIG and DIG are strictly by federal character. As at three years ago, Tunji Disu was a senior officer to Frank Mba. However, availability of vacancy in the South east region pushed Mba to DIG within two years while most of his mates are still commissioners and the lucky ones among his seniors are AIG.

Appointing an AIG as IGP can’t create any instability in the system. In fact, it allows more promotion of officers that have been stagnant as a result of lack of vacancy in their region. Egbetokun will go with all his DIG. New DIGs will be appointed from the rank of the current AIGs. New AIGs will also be appointed from the rank of commissioners who have been stagnant for years. It goes down like that. That’s why so many police officers were celebrating when the news was announced.

This is just sad. Unfortunately, politicians care more about looking good than being good. Just pay to reduce embarrassment and come out smelling like roses. In the evening, their media hacks go on tv and say they don't care how the kids were released, just release them. But the money we've paid only empowers the murderers to murder more.

Nigeria is not a serious country.

To be clear, it's not normal for governments to pay ransom. Everywhere, it's families that pay ransom. not governments. Governments go after criminals with handcuffs and guns, not pay them. This is a shame. A crying shame.

This is someone many thought was atheist a few years back, including some atheists here who were using his name to brag back then because he was the richest man on earth, until Elon Musk himself came out publicly to say, that he is a cultural Christian and believes in the teachings of Jesus, to their utter astonishment.

Watch video below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAlfc-6Ked0?si=LDteV8bB_zX1Yhy9

Since then he has continued to take a stand for Christ and the church, such as his repost of late Charlie Kirk's wife, Erika Kirk's post on X, urging people to "go to church", and now this one publicly acknowledging the teachings of Christ on his X handle.

So long may it continue. In Jesus name!
Are you serious? Saying you agree with the teachings of Jesus doesn't mean you're not atheist. I'm not saying he's an atheist, I'm just responding to your assertion.
