Can he stand in the rain for hours? Some of you people will act stupid again and put the country into further mess. That's how 8years ago you probably first stood in the rain for buhari and messed things up. When things sour, you'll be looking for visa to travel out. If anything happens to this frail looking man, Shettima, the boko haram guy will become your president and run the country over. I'm tired of Nigerians, really!
GodsOwnMan: This is the ONLY Nigerian politician I will stand for hours in the hot sun to vote for. The others have NOTHING to offer especially that 3rd class dullard from anambra.
If Igbos are honest, they will shun tribalism and bigotry and vote Tinubu for president. He is the most competent among ALL the candidates vying for the presidency.
We see celebrities smoke weed in public with mopol guarding them. Then another division of the police is destroying and arresting weed sellers. Does davido import the weed he smokes. Why do we deceive ourselves in this country? There's 14 years jail time for homo but we have well known homo celebrities.
See this one insulting a man that is old enough to be his Father. Will you be bold enough to insult your Father like this? Despite reading the letter yourself which never stated that they were sacked for not generating money and also hearingit from the Pastos mouth, you still come out to call him a lier and you claim the end is near.
Will you keep quiet? If you say God called them before making them Pastors how come you sack them? Or was it God that asked you to sack them? Its not a circular thing where numbers should be concerned. If you were the GO during Jesus's time on Earth, you'd have sacked him for having only 12 members Whats important is the spiritual growth of the people
GreenArrow1: It's a normal thing in business abeg. You people should let him rest. If other financial institutions like Union Bank and GTB can do same, why are people raising voice about Winner Chapel?
People here are even afraid to say he was a G boy (yahoo). They're being so careful not to trigger a fight. But you're all quick to insult Pastors when they advice you. You're all quick to throw insults at church/Christ. Live a decent life, life a simple life and avoid criminality
Chukwute: A young man simply identified as Igho who is a singer was allegedly shot dead on Saturday evening in Warri, Delta State.
Focus Naija can report that the singer popularly known by his stage name, “stankush” was killed by unknown assailants that were armed to the teeth and blocked the road at the Ugbolokposo axis of the city.
The killing caused pandemonium as road users and others scampered for safety.
As at the time of filing this report, the reason why he was killed has not been revealed.
JEWELofHELL: The truth! 1. He never asked federal government to ban social media or internet. He only encouraged youths to be more productive with their time and avoid social media addiction. 2. Millions of Nigeria youth are already too addicted to social media - not even the productive aspect of SM. We can watch comedy skits for 6hours non-stop. Ten years ago, it used to be certifications and reading of books but now, comedy skits and porn are gradually stealing our time and of course, life is measured in time. 3. Bloggers coined his sound/beautiful advice into something that'd fetch them traffic to their website and it's working fine.
Are those his balls in the wheelbarrow They are really very big!
ebukajay184: A man identified as Terhemen Anongo in Gboko Benue state has cut off part of his genitals inorder to curb his libido so as to be able to serve God without sexual distractions, IgbereTV reports.
Facebook user Comrade Anyamhur David shared the news. Read his post below.
From the caption you can already see how ineffective the leaders of this country are. After 2 weeks of daily deaths in Kano state, they are coming up with headlines like "kano government moves to seek the cause of death in kanu.it should normally not take more than 3 days.
The same people are pushing the FG to conduct a Nationwide testing for COVID-19. That's crazy!!! Malaria alone kills over 50,000 people a year. Have you ever called on FG to test everyone with malaria? If you have symptoms go and get tested and receive treatment.
SouthEastFacts: Even the community transmission here is low. We don't need any test to find out how many people that are infected.
Once you get it, you will know but how many people within your area have shown symptoms, why is it not spreading like wildfire in Nigeria like other places?
Something is definitely limiting the commmunity spread of that virus
Who are you and where did you come out from? China raised the alarm and the western power called it a hoax What I'm thinking something is not right with the media space on Earth. The woman virus started in December. CCP government asked Dr to destroy every evidence. China refused intervention from WHO on January 2. When eventually they agreed there was a virus, they denied it being able to move from person to person. That made the WHO relax about while allowing people to travel from Country to country. China will definitely pay for the damages done.
MERCHANDISER: because a virus started from a place does not mean that place spread it. Only one region in China was infected and that region is now backup but foreigners went there to carry, then distribute to other parts of the world. When China raised the alarm of the virus, all the western leaders (major) claimed it was a lie(hoax), people like Trump and Johnson were mocking China with the virus. Now you want to turn around to wail at the same China that raised the alarm, then went to work to help their own citizens. Name one country a Chinese national infected! I'm not supporting anybody tho
This guy is heavily paid directly by WHO or one of their agent companies. They'll keep making posts to counter good posts like the potency of ginger, garlic, turmeric and lime in dealing with COVID-19. Even vitamin c in high dose will do the job. some may even go as far as falsifying figures of the deaths and cases in order to create fear. COVID-19 is a virus that doesn't survive in the kind of heat we're having now in Nigeria. Some Nigerians in New York and other countries have been calling on FG to evacuate them from high risk areas. I found out most of them are battling the disease and they know if they step their feet in Nigeria for only one month they'll recover.
It's because you're in Nigeria you're reasoning like this. How can a reasonable country start talking about elections just after an election? Mad people
They will not start strategizing towards 2023. After now they will bring Atiku 3 months to election n with their ever ready support base in IPOB begin to constitute nuisance on Nairaland
World bank reporting health related issues. What happened to World Health Organization(WHO)? sooner than later, WHO will start reporting poorest Nations in the World.
BrandSpurNG: WASHINGTON, February 6, 2020 — Long believed to be a problem exclusive to high-income countries, evidence shows that over 70 percent of the world’s 2 billion overweight and obese individuals live in low- or middle-income countries. Faced with increasing disability, mortality, health care costs, and lower productivity, obesity is a growing concern for all countries regardless of income level, says a new World Bank report launched here today.
Obesity has a major impact on national economies and on human capital by reducing productivity and life expectancy and increasing disability and health care costs. It is projected that in the next 15 years, the costs of obesity will total more than US$7 trillion in developing countries.
The report Obesity: Health and Economic Consequences of an impending global challenge state that obesity-related diseases are now among the top three killers across the globe, except in Sub-Saharan Africa. Recent data show that since 1975 obesity has nearly tripled and now accounts for 4 million deaths worldwide every year.
Factors escalating the obesity epidemic include ultra-processed and sugary foods, reduced physical activity, and higher incomes, which often go hand-in-hand with higher consumption of unhealthy foods.
“As countries grow economically and per capita income rise, the devastating impacts and burden of obesity will continue to shift toward the poor,” says Dr. Meera Shekar, Global Lead for Nutrition at the World Bank and co-author of the report along with Dr. Barry Popkin from the University of North Carolina.
In China between 2000 and 2009, health care costs associated with obesity grew from half a percent to more than 3 percent of China’s annual health care expenditure. In Brazil, obesity-related health care costs are expected to double, from less than US$6 billion in 2010 to more than US$10 billion in 2050.
In addition to directly increased health care costs, there are also indirect costs associated with, for example, reduced work productivity, absenteeism, and early retirement, which affect individuals and societies.
Many countries across the globe are also suffering from what is referred to as the “double burden of malnutrition”—high stunting and increasing obesity rates, further compromising their human capital.
“One of the most effective ways to address obesity and other non-communicable diseases is by ramping up investments in affordable, quality primary health care”, says Dr. Muhammad Pate, Global Director for Health, Nutrition and Population at the World Bank. “This makes sense both from a health and an economic perspective. Putting more resources on the frontlines to detect and treat conditions early, before they become more serious, saves lives, improves health outcomes, reduces health care costs and strengthens preparedness.”
The report stresses that in order to avoid the risk of obesity in future generations, governments and development partners must adopt a comprehensive approach. Effective primary health systems will be crucial together with a strong focus on preventative measures such as mandating the labeling of processed foods; increasing consumer education; reducing salt and sugar-sweetened beverages, and investing in early childhood nutrition programs.
The report also highlights the importance of strong fiscal policies, such as taxation of unhealthy foods; and enhancing urban design, such as playgrounds in schools and walking and bicycle paths.
Financial support for the preparation of the report was provided by the Government of Japan through the Japan Trust Fund for Scaling Up Nutrition.
Why else are they all called boko haram? It's because even the elderly ones believe education is a bad thing from the west.
NGN001: The Queue would be best videoed from an helicopter.
These kids all look < 10yrs & BH war has been raging for about the same time. In the midst of killings, bombs, kidnappings, these lovely people have been procreating with reckless abandonment.
I think the parents who brought these kids to life knowing extreme poverty exist in Nigeria are to blame but this is also as a result of the fallout of the irresponsibility of the elite who have continued to encourage the equally irresponsible parents to seek for the knowledge right before them in far away lands.
What values will they have when they turn adults? Continue procreating?
I don’t know, or care about your politics, but since you are in power, just know that you are answerable and accountable of what this kids are going through. A timeBomb! pic.twitter.com/yAzcdDkJAJ
Freehuman: Anyone with 100,000 dollars to spare can do this. With 150,000 dollars you'll even snap with Donald Trump.
150,000 dollars...just to see a human being like yourself? $elf worth is key. Only do that if it will add money or value to your life and the value must be commensurate.
Why not just say "Sharia Police arrests Nigeria Police"
Kwanza: Zamfara hisbah commission says it arrested a police officer and three women allegedly engaged in immorality at a hotel in Gusau, the state capital.
Atiku Zawuyya, chairman of the commission, spoke while parading the suspects at the commission’s headquarters on Monday.
NAN reports that the manager of the hotel was also arrested by officials of the hisbah commission.
Zawuyya said the police officer, who is serving with the central police station in Gusau, was arrested with the three girls in a room at the hotel while allegedly committing acts contrary to the Sharia law.
He said preliminary investigation conducted by the commission showed that one of the three girls is from Kaduna state while the two others are from the same family in Zamfara.
The chairman said the commission had warned the management of the hotel several times against harbouring such people but that it failed to comply with the rules and regulation guiding the operation of hotel business in the state.
Zawuyya said the suspects would be charged to court after full investigation.
So why is this scenery not replicated in 80% of the Country I thought its actually impossible to see roads without sands in Nigeria. God please give us useful leaders ooo
AutoReportNG: Many must have heard or read about the Bonny Island in Rivers State, Nigeria. Bonny Island can be tagged the beauty and home of luxury with comfort and relaxation.
Somewhere at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean facing the Bight of Bonny sits the Island of Bonny. This serene Niger Delta community has several historical and economic symbolisms for the Nigerian nation. It was the melting point of economic activities right from the 16th century.
It serves as Christianity’s first port of call in West Africa. It is also home to so many illustrious sons and daughters of Nigeria. This significant constituent of the larger Ijaw ethnic nationality has her local dialect, Ibani is spoken across her various communities. With a thriving traditional system and robust cultural heritage, it stands out as one of the foremost local communities in Nigeria.
Her traditional institution is headed by Edward William-Dappa Pepple who serves as natural ruler and Amanyanabo-in-Council and ably assisted by a Council of Chiefs headed by Reginald Abbey-Hart who is also chief and head of Captain Hart major house. Her political leadership currently rests on the shoulders of Nelson Ben Irimagha who bears the traditional title of Amasenibo.
The community is subdivided into two main segments – the mainland and the hinterland. The mainland is comprised of the Township, Sandfield, Iwoama, Orosikiri, Aganya, Ayambo, Akiama, Workers Camp, Finima and some outlying fishing settlements lying along the Bonny River’s coastline. The hinterland includes the villages that serve as home to indigenes of Bonny kingdom.
Bonny Nature Park, being developed by Nigeria LNG is becoming popular for eco-tourism. The park covers the rain forest, mangrove swamps and area of sandy soil with freshwater ponds and tall timbers between the swamp and beach. It harbours some creatures like the pygmy hippo and reptiles including crocodiles, monkeys and some different bird species.
One interesting thing about this place is that Bonny Island is among the few places in Nigeria where there is power 24hrs, 365 days all through the day. Power in this island never blinks or goes off for some minutes except if there is general maintenance which barely lasts for an hour or 2.
Nigeria is blessed with amazing scenery, beaches, resorts and lots more. Bonny is carefully planned and crafted in order to show the beauty of nature. This island is also home to the NLNG workers.
AutoReportNG got some amazing and breathtaking pictures of these place and we felt we should share some to you.
So you think America is where it is because they don't follow Bible opinions You think if you succeed in blaming the backwardness of your country on Christianity, Nigeria would suddenly become a great Country? Your country is backward because you have bad governance.
General0847: So you mean a Christian cannot have an opinion except that which the Bible says. For saying one is bound by the dictates of religion makes me have sympathy for you, you need help. If you ever read Yul's tweet nowhere did he undermine religion or Christianity but you lot who have been brainwashed from childhood by your parents. Little wonder the most religious countries on earth are also majority among the most poorest too. Simple thing the man has stated his opinion, keep your religion and make heaven let him not make it. Funny thing is a closer look will reveal am actually arguing with a hypocrite who has engaged in sex before marriage or cheated in an exam lol.
Yul said "he cannot wish his enemies well". The Bible says wish your enemies well. Then you are talking about doing a different thing as your opinion. I'm simply saying you're not doing it right if you follow your opinion on already addressed matters like this. There are other matters like choosing a course to study in school and travels that are not addressed. I don't know you but I perceive you're a rebellious person. I'm not even talking about being a hypocrite or not having sex before marriage. Then you're talking about poorest nation. There are millions of successful men and women around the World who have succeeded doing what the Bible says. Your myopic mind won't let you see things straight again. I live in the US and I see decent Christian's just doing their thing. Out of frustration you have ascribed the failures of your government on pastors. If your government was up and doing, you wouldn't even open your mouth to say "most religious is the poorest". Should pastors also construct roads and provide food for you? If you like throw your Bible away because you think Christians are dummies. Deceivers like you won't ever say Islam is why we're where we are. Serve your God the way you want.

When you can't even understand what am typing here, you claim to understand more than a Pastor. Lol. I'm merely trying to be logical here but all you can see or think of is someone is forcing religion... hehehehe. I've used different examples to make you see simple logic to no avail. I'm not against anyone practicing a religion but whatever religion you decide to practice, you become bound by the dictates of that religion. Can you study civil engineering and undermine Archimedes principles claiming "it's my opinion?". Once you decide to be an Electrician, your opinion must align with that of your profession. I hope you learn. Oversabi.
General0847: Why do you black African Christians like to force your beliefs on others? The man has stated his opinion even though he might be Christian, face your own and seek your salvation and respect the man's opinion even Christ didn't go around shoving his religion in people's faces. How is this hard to understand? I bet you i can reason more than the man who stands on the pulpit to preach to you whom you literally worship as pastor. Your mind/head/heart/mentality etc is cast like concrete, you will not see reason.
I wish you had sense. It's just like saying "I'm a Christian but I don't believe in God and that's my opinion". You know how to write but you don't really know how to reason and analyze properly.
General0847: It is simple, learn to respect other people's opinion. You can do that and still remain a Christian. African man man taught about religion by the white man but his hypocritical nature makes him feel he knows all. I wish to direct your question back to you, how do you religious zombies reason? You have a brain use it instead of this herd mentality you have.
General0847: The typical ignorance of religious people.
How do people reason sef? If he wasn't a Christian, it would have been a different matter. If he's a Christian, he should be guided by the opinion of Christ. If he was a Buddhist, he would be judged by the opinion of buddha. If he's an atheist, fine, he would depend upon his own opinions. Get it?
You no sharp at all!!! Your hand dey scratch you. That same covenant University sends their best IT graduates to USA, to do their internship with Google HQ. Most of them end up being employed. The professional courses/certifications like CCNA, coding, MCSE, JAVA, etc. you go to do on the road side are offered as part of their courses. Is that the school you refer to as glorified secondary school?
stormborn28: it is not about building another one... The Kaduna state governments wants to take over the land... Next time reason comprehensively
The Kaduna government wants to take over the land from you? Who owns the land before? Why us he then demolishing this dilapidated structure? Dont you think that structure could collapse on worshippers? Or are there no modern church structures in Kaduna? Why isn't he demolishing modern ones. Don't let both fear and irrationality becloud your sense of reasoning

Why is the church building still looking like that after 100 years? If it's a mosque, they'd have renovated it. I tire for CAN sef. No be say na super architecture now o. Let them destroy it so that CAN can build another one
