The door is not caused bunkering or illegal refining of petroleum products, if that was the case...Delta bayelsa and Owerri would have been affected by black spot too because of high bunkering activities....I can tell you that the company causing these hazard is well known by the Federal government and Rivers state government...the company pays very high penalty fee for their activities....but out government collects the money and look the other way.... Trust me I know the name and location of the company.

Tell us and save lives. Unless you don’t care too.

We dunno the long term effects of this thing we inhale on a daily. I worry for children who's lungs are still developing. It's not by opening mouth waaaa and start making statements you cannot keep. For our atmosphere to be completely clear or almost free from soot there has to be conscious effort to tackle the indiscriminate burning of petroleum products when seized by the military operatives. They have to be educated on what to do whenever they discover an illegal camp cooking products but sadly corruption has really penetrated the military too. Everybody want their cut of the national treasury. This project is a long-term one because it'll take years to achieve. It'll outlive even the next administration. Nature takes its time to heal just the way it took time to cause the damage.

We know the long term effect if the causes of the soot is not addressed. In the future, some of the residents will develop all sorts of respiratory diseases. It will kill some of them too. They need to March to government house in numbers. I don’t know why there’s so much docility, ignorance and wickedness in Nigeria

I believe the report intentionally included misinformation and unverified information in order to weaken the credibility of those agitating for better government. Nigeria is too compromised.

Well that’s because you live in Lagos. If I live in Enugu and I marry Igbo woman for example, my kids will most likely speak more of Igbo because that is what they will need daily in Igboland to be able to have a convenient stay.

Now we are talking about USA, a neutral terrain where the first language basically is English. The indigenous language they ask people will be their ethnic one whether Yoruba/Igbo/Edoid languages.

Now if a Yoruba man get married to an Ibo man in USA and they ask the child what is their indigenous language, they might say Yoruba &Igbo or if they only need to say one for the sake of data, some might say Yoruba and some Igbo.

Hence, they will neutralize each other on both sides and they won’t still affect this data integrity.

Trust me if it had been that it was the Igbo that had larger presence than the Yoruba from the USA census, you will never see the Yoruba giving all this excuses you Ibos are giving on this thread. We will simply look away or find other countries where we are much too as our counter argument. Have you guys no shame?

Good point. I live in the US. At least 50% of the recent immigrants here (past 20 years) that I interact with lived in Lagos before coming to the US. That makes a difference in OPs data.

Interesting facts but I don’t think the number of Yorubas here is that much more than Igbos. It’s probably more but not as substantial as this data suggests.

I’ll say this. I’m in a WhatsApp group with my US based college friends. Five of us are Yoruba, three of us are Igbo and one is from Warri. Five of the Yorubas speak Yoruba. One of the Igbos speak Igbo and my friend from Warri doesn’t speak his language.

It’s also obvious that a lot of immigrants were Lagos residents. The percentage of Yoruba Lagos residents that speak their native language is higher when compared to other ethnicities. These realities matter.

Look at the Ghanaian number vs the number that speak their language. The percentage that speak their language is very high.

Furthermore there are actually millions of Nigerians in the US. A lot just don’t identify as Nigerians.

Believing in Biafra is fine. Believing in NK isn’t fine. He has mental issues. I’m sorry to say. You can’t boldly commit the acts he has been committing and remain in the UK or an allied country. It shows a very low level of intelligence.
