The way I criticized Jonathan govt so badly thinking leadership was our only problem back in 2014 made me mum when I saw worst leadership in buharis govt. Yeah I study finance and I understand the fact that we don't generate as much as we consume even at the lowest. But the recent downturn of economic hardship shows this govt has no foresight or plans. No brains and commitment towards the future. They had a lot of year's before now to avert this crisis but absolutely nothing to show for. Can someone explain to me how the official rate of naira to dollar is 415 while the black market is 590?? Even in ghana that the official rate is 7.2 ghc(413naira) the black market is 8.1ghc(530naira) And yet the govt are clumsy in addressing this major setback causing economic hardship. The way price of things doubled between January and February no be here. I don't know who advises the cbn or what exactly is the reason our naira is falling so badly but this current inflation is not caused by excess cash in the economy. I don't understand why there would be cash shortage and yet inflation is on steady high.. |
The African Action Congress on Wednesday declared its support for police officers planning to go on strike in the country, and called for the release of Inspector Adebimpe Olorundare who was said to have been arrested as one of the organizers of the strike action. In a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Adeyeye Olorunfemi, titled, “maximum solidarity with striking police officers;total support for March 26 nationwide protests at police stations and Eagle Square, Abuja,” the party said it was time to stand with the policemen who were planning to go on strike. It added that the men and women of the Nigerian Police Force had taken a bold step and must not be abandoned. “It’s time to stand fully with our Policemen who have come to the revolutionary light and are planning to go on strike and protest till their demands are met. “These men and women have taken this bold step and must not be abandoned,” Adeyeye said. He listed the demands of the police as; immediate implementation of the announced salary structure; proper payment of pension and other emoluments for retired officers; adequate welfare, better conditions of work and renovation of barracks; provision of modern equipment and weapons to fight crime, so as to prevent the unfortunate killing of police officers by criminal gangs in the country; and adequate compensation to families of police officers who have died in the line of duty. Adeyeye said that the President Buhari regime “must stop lying about increasing the salaries of the police while it does not reflect in their take-home.” He further concluded by asking activists to show support for the police, and charged the Nigerian Police Force to stop the harassment and intimidation of the aggrieved officers. “To every activist who have been demanding that the Police workers organize themselves in a Union and fight for better working conditions, the time to show solidarity is now. “For us at African Action Congress – Nigeria, we are ready to march with the oppressed workers of the Nigerian Police any day, anytime. “It is to this end, we demand the immediate release of one Inspector Adebimpe Olorundare, identified already as one of the organizers, and that the Nigerian Police Force stop further intimidation and harassment of protesting officers. “The Police bureaucrats must desist forthwith, from making an already bad situation worse. “Shouldn’t it be clear to the Buhari regime by now that you can’t arrest the people’s yearning for freedom? We are in this together and we shall overcome together,” Adeyeye said. “To every activist who have been demanding that the Police workers organize themselves in a Union and fight for better working conditions, the time to show solidarity is now. “ https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/police-strike-party-declares-support-calls-for-inspectors-release/%3famp

Sanchez01:he's not the first naira lander in Russia to say this. What the news told you and first hand information. Ahmed musa never for once complaints of racism in Russia but okocha and others talked about it in Germany. |
Make I begin plan to jakpa. na to join dier military sure pass oo. |
gidgiddy:the Queen of England appoints the prime minister of uk and is also seen as the head of the the country. It's been so for decades. Isint that dictatorship? |
callme9mm:when Nigeria was sanctioned in 2014 against countries selling arms to us despite the heat of bokoharam, Russia we're the only alternatives to sell us weapons. Thing is Russia and China are the only alternative to the Western facilities. And unlike the west who tries to impose its opinion through diplomatic means on sovereign countries, Russia and China respect the sovereignty of countries and simply trade. And yes just like US and other great nations, they are brutal when you try to tress pass their red like just like cuba attempted to us sane with Ukraine to Russia. If only Russia was an ally to the west, I'm 100% sure Ukraine would have been a puppet like other African countries. Trust me, Russia would control it's resources and you wont see it as an invasion in the news. |
Elvictor:when Moscow is giving this warning, you'll hardly hear it on media spaces, but when the consequences starts rolling, you'll hear power drugk putin attacking nations unprovoked, plans to take over Europe, war against Europe, dictator put in e.t.c. They'll attach unfriendly pics of put in not smiling along e.t.c. Rubbish entities. |
luwiizy:why was the narrative different from CUBA?? |
Historians go just write anything and history would remember him as so.. |
The Russian invasion of Ukraine and the sale of Chelsea are two stories that have been linked since the very start, and every passing week binds them closer together. Today has seen reporting from the Wall Street Journal which claims that the USA has not yet sanctioned Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich because of advice from Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky told American President Joe Biden that Abramovich was acting as a go between in peace talks, and should be held from the sanctions list for now. America seems to have taken that advice. Some Chelsea fans are taking this badly, saying it was unfair for the UK to sanction Abramovich when the president of the country being invaded is telling others not to – but let’s face it, Zelensky is saying not to sanction Abramovich because he could be useful, not because he doesn’t think he deserves to be sanctioned. Perhaps sanctioning him in the UK and leaving him free in the US is a good compromise. https://www.chelsea-news.co/2022/03/volodymyr-zelensky-told-us-to-avoid-abramovich-sanctions-because-of-role-in-peace-talks/

no bia bia??
grow some beards.. |
joyandfaith:but you said they don't invade to effect regime change. What did they do in Libya when they killed Gaddafi? Or when jfk claimed sedan Hussein has weapon of mass destruction to invade Iraq till date no proof. Us did threatened to nuke cuba because they became allies with Russia. IF Russia we're adamant or cuba president was as stupid as zelenesky, the story might have been different today. Read history |
joyandfaith:including gadaffi of Libya?? or their proof less invasion of Iraq And their imaginary weapon of mass destruction?? bros Nah.. |
If say you dey abj, I for find buyer at a bigger price oo. Chai. Honestly e cheap.. |

You better hasten your decision instead of your two sided nature. Today you want to surrender, tomorrow you'll call isreal for iron dome defense. Confused President, I've never seen a man as insensitive to his people as this man. What's best for your people is peace and joining nato ain't bringing peace. Do one needs to tell you what side you should tow. Well it's obvious the west put you there when they ousted the former president from seat illegally in 2013 because he accepted a counter offer of bail funds from Russia as opposed to Europe. Impeaching a president because he took a better choice. |
When I google, multiple sources claims USA is the largest exporter of crude oil in the world but when Russia became sanctioned, the USA citizens are complaining about high cost of fuel. I no just understand economics again. USA, China are the greatest debtors in the world but yet richest economies. Who be that mega rich country when dey borrow them money? |
Biodun556:what do you expect, when nato was the ones who ousted the former president in 2013 because he accepted a better offer from Russia to European union. this one's is there to do the bidding of nato.. any sane President with this high level of casualties would have surrendered to end the war since the alleged super power refused to get involved militarily. .the idiot is busy receiving applause from us and uk with nothing to show for.. mumu entities. Ukrainian made a big mistake, by electing this mumu. |
Aufbauh:are the Britain's and nato allies taking consciencefull decision when they forcefully acquire the assets of private Russian individuals who came to their country to invest and create employment?? |
the unemployment rate is high in the east, the govt needs to do something about it before young men turn to terrorists in the name of looking for job. |
November 2013 saw the beginning of a series of events that led to his ousting as president. [9][10][11] Yanukovych rejected a pending EU association agreement , choosing instead to pursue a Russian loan bailout and closer ties with Russia. this is the origin of the crisis, he rejected an European agreement and accepted a Russia bail out agreement. this actions made a democratically elected president to be ousted from seat. trade greed, cos he accepted a better offer from his brother russia. he was ousted and you want me to believe it was the choice of the people to oust him out without influence. the people who voted his removed him from seat cos he took a better offer from russia. |
izenco2005:bros Ukraine is the size of northern Nigeria, no be day job to invade am especiaLly when the targets are specific. not even us would succeed in Nigeria within a month to invade the north without their nukes. |

Ffk has said it all, zelenesky knows for sure he can't win this war, if his resilience increases, more sophisticated weapons would be deployed by Russia. Just like the hypersonic missiles. Leave those British parliament and their motivation. The battle gound is not us or us or even Russia, the battle ground is Ukraine. Take it or leave you'll suffer the most loss and those your western allies would commercialize everything they can in a bid to help you. I don't know who your advisers are but isn't it obvious whatever decision your taking now ain't helping. Compromise today so you can stand a chance tomorrow. It's what china did with us monopoly. Today the us dare not touch them, not even sanction. |
Big idiot, the idiot doesn't deserve funeral. Rubbish entity.. |
Why is the price of gas so high in the us despite the us being the highest producer of crude according to Wikipedia and other sources?? |
Zelenesky better concede defeat in peace. |
