Enskynelson: Yes! What is the most useless in Nigeria right now in the educational system? For me, the most useless certificate right now goes to Junior Secondary School Certificate AKA Junior WAEC. I wrote mine many years and have not collected the certificate because I see no need for it. Even the Primary School Cert was the lowest educational qualification for becoming the President of Nigeria until the last amendment. What is your opinion? What is the use of Junior WAEC? What is the most useless certificate in Nigeria Educational System right now?

CuriousMynd: A Nigerian man has revealed what she did to a lady whom he flew out of the country for a vacation in another country, Igbere TV reports.
On Twitter, the man identified as Mullah said he paid for the lady's flight and booked a hotel for them to stay in while they enjoy their vacation. However, when the said lady wouldn't sleep with him in the same bed, he had to fast forward the lady's return to the country.
I dont understand so a woman can actually step out of her house to go and enjoy awoof without having change to return home. Smart women usually hold return ticket money for pocket in case of kasala like this. Guess no be every lady smart.

So of late I have been getting strange phone call from some set of people, who claim to mistakenly send me airtime codes. Usually an old man who claims to be a native doctor..he calls and pleads with me to return the credit he actually sent to my phone.Then he gives the phone to a supposed son of his. This son begs me not to use the credit which I have no intention of even using sef. Dat the card was meant for his younger sibling in school so that he can sell and take care of himself. I then tell them not to bother they should simply go to their inbox copy the message and sent it to the intended recipient but if they expect me to send the codes to their phone they must be joking..the first time I even answered them then the same format repeated itself today again..which kind scam method be this.
pepperdemzombie: No! People are making thousands of $ monthly on Facebook just for FB to advertise on your page but it has requirements. Resident or Citizen of America. Your account must be minimum 5 years old, the older the better. You must have minimum 100 friends. So, I think people who buy Nigerian old ones maybe use proxy, reside in USA, resell to people there, then invite or buy friends, then start making thousands per month. So, if it is an engaging account, good for you!

We were in the middle of discussion when we tuned in into this popular reality tv series on dstv, “finding the one”. So we switched topic
I was trying to explain to him why we have many ladies looking for suitors in Nigeria and the main reason being this harsh economy. I told him no man would want to settle down until he has something to fall onto and has a good job that can sustain a family but my friend thinks otherwise.
He said the reason why some ladies get really old without suitors coming their way is because they must have ignored a lot of guys during their prime (20-28) and once reality set in they become desperate.
I told him I have a sister who is perfectly fine and doing well but good men ain’t just coming her way, but he just wouldn’t agree. I can’t believe people still think this way in this 21st century. He was telling me no matter your looks and all someone must approach you, I had to calm him down what if those coming your way ain’t even somebody you can settle with. Guess his reply? You just have to endure and get married like that.
This a guy went on for some hours before I just decided to call it a quit and told him we should just enjoy our football match.Personally to me I think nobody should be forced into marriage when he /she ain’t ready.

I noticed these days females are open to referred relationship where a female tells her fellow female/Male friends that they are open for relationship so those friends become the scout when they travel to other states and see another person of the opposite sex who is willing they give that person their friends contact and I ask myself wats going on..someone you dont know and have never met..all they are concerned about is does he have money. butyne: Good morning fellow Nairalanders, there is something that has been giving me sleepless night for a week now and I want to share it to this forum for you to advice me on the next step to take.
There is this girl that I have been in a relationship with for 5 years now, when we started the relationship, she was still looking for admission while I was already in my final year. As time goes we started talking about marriage but she told me that I should wait till she get to her final year. Though, we have been at peace but not that we don't use to have misunderstanding but once such happens, we reconcile with immediate effect. One thing that use to make us to have misunderstanding is that am a jealous lover and the fact that we are not close to each other made me to suspect that she is cheating on me especially if I call her at odd hours to discover that she is on another call, I would be mad at her to the extent that I may use some offensive words on her but have not I have not assaulted her physically, after she explains, she will apologize and I will also apologize for using offensive words. Though, the above problem rarely occur, upon that we still love ourselves. Last two years, I told her that I want to be introduced to her parents and she did as I requested, I have also introduced her to my own parents, my parents have given me the approval to make plans for our marriage. Her parents too were still ok with me. When my parents gave the approval earlier this year, I called her on phone and told her that I will be coming to see her people very soon for our marriage plans but she answered by telling me that we will discuss in details when we see one on one. I kept quiet, we have been seeing but she has not for one day remembered that we had unfinished discussion. I decided to raise the topic again, last week that I want to go to her house for the marriage plans so that during next year's Easter period by the grace of God we will wed but she told me that I should still give her time, that she is yet to see the sign. I told her that we have been in this relationship for 5 years and you are yet to get a confirmation, when are you going to get it? Is it in this remaining one month of the year? She said that she don't know but as soon as she gets sign she will let me know. To be honest, I really love the girl and since we started I have not dated another girl but know that it is going like this, I wish to seek advice from fellow Nairalanders on which way to go, either to stay or to live her because I am emotionally traumatized now. The Nollywood actor was reported to have been involved in an accident sometimes back and suffered an injury that had affected his lower limbs thereby restricting his movement.
In a short video posted online, Clem Ohameze said the ailment has been the main cause of his absence from the Nollywood scene for a while due to his restriction in movement, he stated that the surgery feels scary in nature but he must however undergo the procedure if he is to regain full movement again.

Supreme145: I was on my own chilling jejely when my next door neighbor knocked on my door, he said I wanted movies so I let him into my room reluctantly. I hardly relate with my co tenant's beyond hi hi greeting so I was kinda uncomfortable letting him into my room.
He sat down and had this bewildered look on his face, the next thing I heard was, Bros omo you get mind dey stay inside this kind empty room o, so na ontop this kind flat bed you dey run all these your babes wey dey come see you ehhn....nawao you be badt guy oo. So na ontop this bed that one wey get big nyash dey even lie down with all slay queen shakara. He kept blabbing while I kept silent, I asked him so even if I want to buy a better it should be because of ladies baa, and he said ehhhn now, how you go dey run matters on top this mat. This someone that I gave transport fare to go and meet someone he said was owning him.
He kept quizzing me on how I'm able to attract ladies despite the vaguely furnished room, I went on to tell him that girls are not my problem now. Moreover I'm not dating most of them, I run projects for people so some of them are people I'm working for.
Even though I've developed a tough skin to this kind of negative comments, I was upset though I masked my embarrassment. But why do some guys feel everything must be to impress ladies, I for one don't have time for them and I'm fully focused of sharpening my programming skills in order to get a job before the year runs out so I can renew my rent by January. For someone that was once homeless and slept in lecture halls, this my current place is like a duplex to me, and how I got this place is still a miracle to me.
Hence my question is the room really that bad? I've visited some friends and my room is nothing to write home about. Is it so bad that the guy feels I am not worthy to have a girlfriend just because of it?
