subzheero: Hello Subzheero, The reason your application was not successfully withdrawn, after the request was submitted, is because a decision has been reached. Applications that have been finalized or have an eligibility review already started cannot be withdrawn. If an application was approved based on induced error (oversight from the officer or discovered misrepresentation), the approval can be rescinded if after reopening for a secondary review eligibility is failed. Best Wishes! |

Treasure134: Hello Treasure134, Fill in the correct information in the IMM form and give satisfying reasons as to why the initial information was declared so. You can likewise apply for her through the Spouse or Common-law Partner Open Work Permit. You will have to provide sufficient documentation like old pictures of each other, and with each other's family maybe for social events. Proof of joint investment, bank account, business, apartment lease, etc. are also critical documentation to prove you have cohabited together for at least 1- year. Best Wishes! |

kuty1992: Hello Kuty1992, The spouse can consider immigrating through the Federal Skill Work Program or Provincial Nominee Program. Also, the Live-in Caregiving temporary work route can be leveraged if his work line is in health-related areas and can secure a job offer letter from private (homes with a vulnerable family member who requires a care service) or public organizations responsible for the care of people classified as vulnerable groups. In the case that the eligibility for the dittoed programs is not met, and since he already has a Master's, a Ph.D. program should be considered for easy convincing of the officer about his genuine study intent. Best Wishes! |

ehisg: Hello Ehisg, Check your IRCC Portal account. It is supposed to drop after the stamping of your passport. No need to worry if you don't find it there or drop before your departure. At the POE, just tender the PPR letter coupled with a straightforward explanation, if the CBSA agent should ask any questions regarding it. "You didn't receive the correspondence letter." Best Wishes! |

Ghanagyal93: Hello Ghanagyal93, It will be very important for her to demonstrate a strong economic prospect in her country. A 1-year-old baby has been refused for Personal Assets & Financial Status. Her parent's/family economic establishment can be used to tie her. See below. • A property on lease gifted to her by her either parent; • Opening a fixed deposit in her name; • Being a shareholder or board member in her parent or family business; • Parent's show of investment(s) in her name; • Business partnership with a sibling(s), parent, and/or family member; • et cetera. n.b. Consider paying her first-year tuition fees. Best Wishes! 2 Likes |

Xixteen11: Hello Xixteen11, First, my empathy is shared. The officer was kind enough to specifically mentioned the primary areas of concern. If you or your sponsor declared to be employed aside from owning a business, provide the employment letter, payslips (4 or 6 months), salary account, and other necessary proof of employment like the staff directory page on the employer's website, etc. Ensure that any lump sum deposits are adequately justified and explained. This reason can also come if the transaction inflows in the presented bank statement(s) do not historically accumulate to the sitting bank balance. If this is caused by a particular reason, convincingly provide an explanation(s) for it. Best Wishes! |

Republic001: Hello Republic001, The undoing of your application will be not to include your sponsor's bank statement, whether it is a parent or third-party sponsorship, especially when (a series of) lump sum deposits are involved. Though few applicants have been able to 'escape' for those who love taking chances. Best Wishes! |

Republic001: Hello Republic001, If this was my situation, I would not consider a Reconsideration instead reapply. Many SP applications being refused based on "Personal Assets and Insufficient Funds/Financial Situation" has common concern of the applicant not submitting a tax clearance in the GCMS notes. You have two options to attend to this: 1) Get a tax clearance for the past 3 years done by the appropriate authority. Also, include any govt-paid utility and/or revenue as well as the business TIN. and/or 2) Provide the business transactional proof i.e. sales receipt, purchase invoice, contract supply, etc. and inventory record i.e. audit book (for the past 3 years), sales ledger, book-keeping entries, etc. Add business complementary card (optional). onyekachee: Hello Onyekachee, As a mature applicant, it will be wise to include your personal proof of funds, especially if it is not a parent or spouse sponsorship. If it is claimed in your application to have an active business in your country, it will go a long way to help your application if you include one. Though few mature applicants have been successful without providing one, however, personal and family circumstances differ. Success is all I Wish You! |

SoftdudeKay: Hello SoftdudeKay, To be able to adequately respond to the officer's concern in your response letter, request from your paid representative: • Full name of the payer; • Relationship to the payer (do not say agent); • The name and branch address of the financial institution and the type of card used for the payment; • The individual's full contact information; • Did the person notice the reversal, if No, argue on the person's innocence and if yes, when was it noticed and why didn't the person notify you as soon as possible, explain constructively; • Refer the officer's attention to the reversal date on the page of the individual's bank record to make a sounding statement or argument. The bank record should be attached as evidence. Only the first page and the primary page should be attached; • other relevant information/etc. P.S. Try as much as possible to avoid using long sentences and repetitive words. Give clarity to your statements and keep your response letter to a minimum of 3 pages (no rule to this though). msbaileyz: Hello Msbaileyz, In addition: I second. I have raised this awareness here before now. I can count four people that had the same issue but only one was banned. If I stumble across the GCMS note by chance, I will share it here. Declaring the use of a paid representative without submitting the IMM 5474e form is now considered a misrepresentation if noticed by chance, which always occurs after a fee payment reversal to IRCC. Few might have been lucky to escape a ban but some others couldn't. If anybody is in the same mess, say the complete truth without mentioning the use of a paid representative. Only do so, if it was declared from the onset and the IMM form was provided. One love! 4 Likes |

seggzzy: Hello Seggzzy, Considering your long study gap working in a field that applies automation systems in its operations, go for Industrial Automation. It is now your responsibility to help the officer understand the correlation, why the proposed study, the significance and/or relevance of the study, et cetera. The length of the program is not an issue. Success is all I Wish You! |

Sammmypoko: Hello Sammmypoko, In the Atlantic province, the college is one of the best but the deposit of CAN$ 500 is non-refundable if the international student could not attend classes due to some unforeseeable circumstances. Don't let the cheap tuition and/or flexible PR routes be the only reasons for wanting to study in the DLI/province. This is sometimes misconstrued by the VOs. In terms of program structure and robust curricula, that of colleges in the Atlantic provinces cannot be compared to other provinces, especially Ontario. Most colleges in Ontario will always issue a refund even for deposit payments if an application is denied or a student could not resume classes due to personal reasons like health or the loss of a family member, etc. Any college you chose to attend, ensure you sufficiently justify your reason(s) and meet other SP requirements. HEADYWORLD: Hello HEADYWORLD, Well, few applicants have gone ahead to become successful in their SP application using these colleges in the Atlantic provinces. Despite these schools being good DLIs, they are not as competitive as colleges in the Ontario province for SP applications. If you can, seek admission into UNB instead. Universities in the Atlantic provinces are okay too. However, if you can adequately satisfy the SP requirements, you can decide to consider the mentioned colleges. For recommendation, Ontario colleges are highly competitive. Success is all I Wish You! |

Ojb555666: Hello Ojb555666, Not necessarily. It might pose a problem if the decision/reason(s) for the action is not adequately justified. As mentioned in my previous post, it is somewhat of a new change, in that, the implementation patterns by IRCC are yet to be clear based on 'practice.' However, several factors could become a problem in being eligible for the PGWP, which is not reduced to: • non-attendance of classes; • taking unscheduled breaks; • switching DLIs (without notifying IRCC/updating the new DLI information in the online account – GcKey. It seems the option is not available in the IRCC Portal; • Failed courses; • Violating the SP rules & regulations; • Working beyond 20 hrs/week – temporarily suspend, as you may know already that international students can now work full time starting November 15, 2022, until December 31, 2023; • Breaking the Canadian law/DUI – taking very seriously; • Domestic violence; • Studying/working with an expired/invalid SP; • et cetera. Cheers! 1 Like |

Sammmypoko: Hello Sammmypoko, The schools fall within the range of CAN$17,000 – CAN$ 18,000, or above. The tuition fees to be paid also depend on the program, which is subject to change as the quoted amount may not be accurate. The accurate figure is what reflects on the LOA and not always on their websites. Success is all I Wish You! 1 Like |

lapazi: Hello Lapazi, You do not need to notarize any of your documentation, it is optional. An Article of Association/Memert shows the share capital of the limited company and the directors according to shares. If it is not available to you, get a lawyer to draft one for your use. Do not use a company sponsorship except the company are willing and has committed financially toward your study. Instead of paying for the first-year semester, make it the full session and have your maintenance cost transferred to you coupled with an adequate explanation for the term deposit. The same applies even if you are a board member. Ensure to also include a board resolution letter for the decision reached, budgeted amount, liquidated amount, etc. to be committed to such sponsorship intention. The company can be an investment you are part of where your regular 9 - 5 salary and other earnings go into, and your 9 - 5 can be your primary income source. If the pay isn't sufficient, help the officer understand it is based on your passion, especially if it relates to your proposed study. But again, you will have to help the officer understand how you were able to invest in this said company. Anything you do, you still have to provide your bank record to show your earnings and cash flows to either or both income sources. If you think a company sponsorship will be stressful for you to justify, you can use a related individual for your application. The funds from the company can be used to pay your tuition, demonstrate your maintenance cost, as well as run your account if your account is insufficient. Kindly note that these suggestions are based on the information you provided in your post and may not be accurately fitted to cover grey areas in your application. Only filter what is valuable and discard the rest. Success is all I Wish You! |

Godpikin4: Hello Godpikin4, It may be difficult to convince the office of a study progression or being a genuine student, especially if PA does not have prior work exposure in the health field. It will be best to maintain a related exposure to a work experience if it has been 3 years or more (my suggestion) the individual has been out of school and/or previous studies if within 1 – 2 years (also my suggestion). SoftdudeKay: Hello SoftdudeKay, Your eligibility will be updated on your online account once it starts, but this is not usually the case in recent times. You can also request your notes to find out. You can also reach out to an MP in your DLI region for assistance to help you enquire on your behalf or get someone in Canada to help you try to reach IRCC on a local call. KRTL: Hello KRTL, It will be best to maintain the program level you got approved for. Since the change of rules regarding program/DLI change by IRCC, it is not clear yet to fully understand the impact on PGWP in real life. Only if you can justify your reasons for such an action/decision, then it's fine. If not, it MAY cause an issue during your PGWP if adequate justification is not provided. It is up to the VO to apply discretion. Changing your institution is fine, but it will be wise to maintain your program level. Your school will always agree to change your program. You can speak to your DLI immigration advisor or interview recent international graduates. Success is all I Wish You! |
