ceeejaytee: Hello Ceeejaytee, It is paramount to demonstrate funds are available to pay off the cost of study, for the second year, if applicable. For the first year of study, you will have to present an account with historical inflows and a sitting bank balance. Best Wishes! |

JejeIsLife: Hello JejeIsLife, If you can't be patient to save up from your earnings because of some reasons best known to you, the way forward is to engage in an arranged POF to build your account or get a capable sponsor who can show financial commitment toward your study intention. Additionally, if you are attending a university recognized by MPower Finance, then the option of a study loan is also there for your consideration. Best Wishes! 2 Likes |

milliondollarma: Hello Milliondollarma, Usually, course-based programs could take up to 2 months or more for admission processing and thesis-based could stay for up to 6 months or less. Some Master's programs in some schools have an all-session admission window, whilst others consider applicants' applications who apply after the deadline for admission processing for the next session intake. Review the program's policy and if possible reach out to the admissions office to inquire about the possibility of being considered. In summary, it's not always advised to apply to a program after the admission deadline. Best Wishes! |

Kost: Hello Kost, Log in to your student portal to initiate the deferral request. Before reapplying, pay the balance tuition fees and make sure your sitting bank balance in your account equals or exceeds $20,635. Every lump sum deposit should be well explained and justified. If possible, get your brother to transfer the funds to be shown as a co-sponsor to you then fix it in a fixed deposit liquidable prior to classes resumption and present yourself as self-sponsored. Best Wishes! |

Lance008: Hello Lance008, After paying the $1,500, you will have to pay about $8,000 or as the case may be for the first installment which could be a short duration after the deposit fee is paid. Then, the second installment at a later date after study commencement. Best Wishes! 2 Likes |

Bamz555: Hello Bamz555, You do not need a test report if your previous studies were conducted in English. Nonetheless, few schools may require your graduate school to send directly to them a Proof of English Proficiency Letter at the same time when your official transcript is being sent. Best Wishes! |

harmonyedu: Hello Harmonyedu, It is wise to include a board resolution letter that reflects the total amount accessible to her for the study cost financing, and that PA is also an authorized signatory to the account. The paid fees from the company account should be quoted as well plus the lump sums of money movement. Precise dates should be included for all activities relating to finance. Rather than sponsor her, you can write a support letter whilst she acts as a self-sponsored applicant. This is just an opinion. Best Wishes! |

olabisi6438: Hello Olabisi6438, Request it via your UR self-service portal or write the international admissions office, and include the required documentation in the email, for a firsthand guide. However, one annoying trait about the university is that replying to their emails is a major problem. Best Wishes! 1 Like |

Lance008: Hello Lance008, Universities give you that opportunity/option mostly but will require you to pay a seat reservation deposit as low as $500 less or more. Colleges normally will require you to pay (almost) half of the full fees. May be about $8,000 high or less. However, some schools in the Atlantic provinces like New Brunswick Community College or Nova Scotia Community College will require students to only pay a mandatory fees of about $500, which is non-refundable. The same also apply to Holland College in the Prince Edward Island. Best Wishes! |

ide2012: Hello Ide2012, It is insufficient. Amount up to your first year LE is better. If possible, try as much that the total received sum doesn't make up a large portion of your sitting bank balance. It's dire to explain and provide supporting documentation for any lump sum. Tomoarika: Hello Tomoarika, Whether to disclose or misrepresent facts of non-disclosure of your highest qualification depends on your ableness to give convincing reasons as to why the decision to study for a PGC is paramount. A reason could be that becoming an academic is not of any interest to you nor is it beneficial to your career as an industry professional. Why a Ph.D. or a 2nd Master's does not favour your professional development. If your previous Master's is Course-based, it could be argued that the programme didn't cover some skill-nurturing aspects of your career areas adequately. Given that a PGD/C is equal to Course-based teaching with different learning experiences and more focused in areas of industry-practice teaching that forms the necessity to choose the PGC, which will also consolidate your already attained Master's qualification. If you are unsure of writing a convincing and qualifying Statement of Purpose (SOP), chat with GCMSWriters on IG/X. Note that the non-disclosure of your Master's qualification whether it is WES evaluated or not makes it void for future use, especially when it concerns Canadian immigration. You too will testify! 1 Like |

Heffalump: Hello Heffalump, Best to apply for a study permit for the children. However, you do not need to apply for the VV for the children again since they already secured the SP. The VV is concurrently processed with the SP. You can only apply for them if the VV expires before they enter Canada. If you don't intend to come back to your economic activities until the end of your wife's programme, consider applying for the SOWP. For prospective applicants with kids, it's more convenient to apply for the SP for the children instead of the VV from the onset. You too will testify! |

kefidoh: Hello Kefidoh, After a Bachelor's, if you graduated a year interval, opting for a Master's shows proper progression. For two-year intervals after graduation, a PGD/C can be selected if you have no business becoming an academic. PGD/C focuses on professional studies whilst the Master's offers course-based (professional study) and Thesis-based (academic/researcher) teachings. I believe you have your answer?! You can put your question 2 on Google for better clarity. You too will testify! |

raphealolami: Hello Raphealolami, Leaving your kids behind to accompany your spouse MAY not be the best or wise decision for her application. I am of the OPINION that either put in a family application if you and your spouse's economic, social, and financial establishments are well-sufficient and balanced or let your spouse put in a sole application. isioefe: Hello Isioefe, It will be best to stick to freelancing as a software engineer paid with crypto as a primary income source, which prompts you to become a part-time crypto trader in exchange for circular currency. Then provide proof. Ensure that you provide enough documentation to justify your employment as a freelancer to be reliable and stable. Also, extensively explain how getting paid in crypto, which is the official payment currency of the tech company you freelance for, has impacted your inflows to accumulate to a historical sitting bank balance. Whatever you do, show the provenance of the funds after conversion into your bank account. Best Wishes! |

Iceboyblog: Hello Iceboyblog, This is only a suggestion for your consideration. If evidence can be provided regarding the N15m deposited once in the account, maybe from a contract award or investment proceeds, it shouldn't be a problem. All that is required is a justifiable reason for using a newly created account to receive the funds. In the case that proof cannot be presented, go with only the savings account whilst including sufficient documentation to support the existence and activities of the business. You don't have to move the funds from the current account to the savings account to be used for your application. If for a reason your father's bank cannot charge the corporate account to pay the tuition, move the funds to another savings account then pay the fees from there. Unlike Ireland, Canada doesn't require international students to use the same account for the application purpose to pay for the tuition fees as a demonstration of the legitimacy of the funds. Considering your program is 4 years, try your best to offset the 1st year tuition. Best Wishes! |
