Chubbyface: Hello Chubbyface, The IRCC Portal allows a file size of 2MB whilst the GcKey account permits a 4MB file size. If your documents are little, you can consider the former. There is nothing 'so' special about the IRCC Portal. Some visit visa applications might be experiencing fast processing time, it is also not entirely different in processing pace with the SP submitted via the GcKey account. Many applications submitted between late last year and early this year are currently caught in IRCC backlogs, and not necessarily for the reason of applying through the GcKey account. As mentioned earlier, consider the IRCC Portal if your documents are little or the GcKey account if they are much. Best of Luck 5 Likes |

Elixosodi: Hello Elixosodi, The NSE program is not adequate and the processing pace and/or system can now pass as the same as the regular route. No need to stress yourself to apply via the route or meet the requirements of the NSE. Almost all applications whether via the NSE or regular route are now processed the same based on my observations. If you are considering applying through the NSE route, you should demonstrate the CDN$30,000 after tuition and LE. The VO doesn't expect you or your sponsor to empty your bank account for a foreign study. Best of Luck 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Vikky05: Hello Vikky05, Your sponsor only needs to demonstrate the funds for the subsequent year and not necessarily in liquid funds. What is important is showing sufficient liquid funds for the first year of study which should be about NGN 10m above excluding tuition and LE. Though the amount to show depends on the total cost of your study for the first year. Not that it isn't good to have more than one third-party individual supporting you financially, the implication is that it could weaken your economic establishment, especially when the VO can not trace continuous inflows of your earnings or funds in your personal bank account. The current refusal trend is now based mostly on "Personal Assets & Financial Status" whether or not the individual had a good sitting balance despite paying full tuition. The cause could be a result of a term deposit or scanty inflows. If your mom is sponsoring, she needs to present a financial record that has a continuous inflow amounting to a sufficient sitting bank balance. From the proceedings of the sale of land, pay your second-year tuition and fix the rest in a fixed deposit along with an explanation of why. If this can be done, you can become a self-sponsored applicant. Ensure that you include your personal bank account having a sitting balance of about NGN 5 – 7m or above if you decide to pay for the two years of tuition. The funds will serve as a demonstration for your two years of LE. The funds to be received from your siblings can be used to run your account within a 4 – 6 months duration. This way, you can leave them out of the application. If your spouse's bank account is sufficient, include it, otherwise, only provide his employment information. Best of Luck 5 Likes |

dude99: Hello Dude99, Provide your scratch card along with the certificate. It can pass for the transcript. If you have a first degree before now, consider a Master or PGD/C. Use either of the certificates that meet the minimum grade requirement of the program if specified. If you can not find it, reach out to the international admissions office for further enquiry. Best of Luck |

Raymondrain: Hello Raymondrain, Stating your age would have been helpful. Based on your post, you should be the sole sponsor. Get your mom to send your second year's tuition to your account and provide you with a Letter of Support, and supporting evidence for her source of income. This way, the need to include her bank statement won't be necessary if it is not available. She can demonstrate in the letter her capability to support your study financially as well as give any useful information too. If you are married, demonstrate the provisions made to sustain your family in your absence. If you can go for a one-year program, do so. This will enable you to set up a GIC for your LE in addition to the full tuition fee paid. If this is not possible, you can still set up a GIC to support the payment of your first-year fees whilst you can still show the second year's funds in your account or a fixed deposit. This is just for demonstration. Best of Luck |

Bunmmy01: Hello Bunmmy01, You can consider opting for PGD in Business Insight & Analytics, Business Data & Financial Analytics, or a Master of International Financial & Business Management. Your choice of business administration is also okay. You can check Humber, Conestoga college, etc., as well as Calgary, Windsor university, etc. Best of Luck |

4gunners: Hello 4gunners If single, try to show as high as CAD 25,000 after tuition and LE. If married, try to show as high as CAD 30,000 after the first year study cost. Note that you can still show slightly below the quoted amounts, but if you can show up to these funds with good inflows and a reliable source of income without any unexplainable large deposits, you stand to put in a competitive application. mancinho: Hello Mancinho, Your sister can sponsor you. You may stand an improved chance if you leave your NGN 4m untouched and get your brother to assist you with about NGN 3m to run your account to NGN 7m. You can use your payment processor as a freelancer to build the account to avoid lump sums or to be able to easily provide printed evidence from your dashboard to justify any lump if there is one. Get your sponsor to pay your first-year or first-semester tuition fees and open a GIC for your LE. The reason is that you are using a third-party sponsorship and doing this will help you demonstrate that the study funds are readily available and accessible to you. Also, get your business registered if it is not. Aside from your sponsor, ensure you place concrete attention to demonstrate a very good economic establishment in your home country. Support your application with as many relevant documents as you can. This is just one of the several approaches you can leverage. Best of Luck |

Miznate: Hello Miznate, IRCC and the officers know these things. In the Western world, married couples and even their children can bear different names. On the IMM 1294e Form, there is a column that allows you to specify any other name(s) you bear. As long as the names you currently bear tallies with that which reflects on your biodata, you have no issue. Ensure you declare that you are married and include justifiable evidence. You can check the thread for the list of documents others used. Most people share their testimonies with their document list. You should understand the uniqueness of your application and only select the documents from the list that best suits your application profile. Best of Luck 2 Likes |

kokolanre123: Hello Kokolanre123, What you could do now is to write the school for an extension grace. Attach evidence of the ongoing fee payment processing from the bank. Tell them the targeted date of finalization the bank gave and ensure you use soothing words. Most times, schools respond positively to this kind of request. You can send the email twice. One today and the other on Monday by 3 PM Nigerian time. Direct your email to the finance, admissions, international office, and/or program coordinator. If the school is on the PayMyTuition platform, you may want to consider using the option. They give a rate of CAD 476 or CAD 483 at high. Best of Luck |

MJ1000: Did you demonstrate your employment situation and did your sponsor show any commitment from the presented funds and how much was committed. Also, did you include your POF as a mature or gainful earner? Financial availability is not assessed based on the sitting bank balance but by the actual commitment made towards the intent. Landed properties are not POF or demonstrate financial availability, strength, or sufficiency. Best of Luck |

MJ1000: Hello MJ1000, Give more information about your sponsor and the commitment made, employment situation, monthly income, and was there any lump sum deposit? Osemigho: Bro! How are you, Been a minute?! One of the convenient ways is to leverage the industry teachings of the PGC by connecting them to the industry's limitations. Not everyone understands that a PGD/C and a Course-based Master are on the same academic level. Thus, depending on how its significance is demonstrated that will determine the study's importance. Like MUN and some other Universities, some Course-based Master's students and PGD/C students take lectures in the same classroom depending on the Department. However, there is always a slight modification in the academic teaching that favours the Course-based Master as a superior study. Our society has been programmed to downplay the PGD/C as a study. Please, pardon my rant. One love bro! 2 Likes |

JORDAN55: Hello JORDAN55, It is very obvious that his employment information is cooked up and it is a sin to declare false employment information, especially when it involves the EE route. No matter what, he should stick with his already declared employment information in his EE profile, even if it takes longer than imagined for a draw to happen and the application finalized. If he suddenly changes his employment title or position, he will not be meeting the eligibility of his selected NOC code and could get a query for a false declaration. If this is me, I will never withdraw an EE profile if the CRS score is high because of a study permit application unless it is critical to do so. The way forward is for him to turn down the admission and apply to programs that correlate with his actual declared employment experience. Even a bulletproof SOP won't be able to stop the officer's kill-shot bullet. He should do the right thing. Check my Nairaland profile on his behalf to see how to get a well-written SOP after the needful has been done. Best of Luck (to your brother) 1 Like |

Katehasty: If your prospective study correlates with your work experience, work on completing your tuition payment. If you can maintain the balance of the said NGN 6m or can up it to NGN 7m and after setting aside your LE or opening a GIC, you can act as a self-sponsored applicant. If your sibling is still willing to support you financially, get a support letter from him and ensure that instead of receiving the money as a lump sum to your account, use it to set up a GIC. n.b. Ensure that there are no unjustified large funds and include your paystubs, study leave letter and remember to demonstrate the lucrativeness and reliability of your source of income. Olanrae: Hello Olanrae, If the updated official transcript is received directly from your school and verified to be legitimate, there will be no issue for the DLI to consider you for admission if you meet the admission requirements. If this falls out of the circle, you may risk a ban to that DLI and other DLIs they share academic information with. Best of Luck |

Katehasty: Hello Katehasty, If you are a mature applicant with vast work experience in health or a related field, go for something closely related. IF you are intending to switch your career at this time, especially with insufficient funds and weak financial demonstration, don't. You should consider dropping your profile so people can be able to accurately contribute to your post. If possible, get your sibling to up his funds likewise including your POF to justify that you are a gainful earner. If you can raise your tuition fees (pay it) and you can come in as a cosponsor, esp if you still have about CAD 10,000 as your sitting balance. You can also consider bringing your parents into the (co-)sponsorship picture if possible. You should consider: √ changing your program if it does not correlate with any of your justifiable experience. If it does, work on the prospect plan for the study, intent to study, the importance of the study aimed at expressing the genuineness as a temporary resident. It is good that many applicants try to justify the genuineness to study, but somehow in the process, lose focus to understand that the overall information of the essay is the determination adopted by the officer to conclude on the genuineness of an application. Remove emotion and apply critical logic, you will have a perfect essay that justifies your reason for wanting to study the program of choice in Canada. For the ease of justification, that is why a study that demonstrates progression is the way to go. √ Get your sponsor to up his funds to about CAD 30,000 after tuition and LE. √ Include your savings bank account statement. √ Pay part or full first-year tuition. NorthernshoreTS: Hello NorthernshoreTS, Leave your daughter out of the application. After she has received her renewed US passport, she can travel with her mom upon approval. An ETA will be issued if travelling from the US or a visitor visa for those facilitating entry from a visa-required country. A visitor visa will be issued if staying for 6 months or a visitor record if longer. If a visitor record will be issued boils down to the officer's discretion at the POE. Best of Luck 1 Like |

omodunniolaiya: Hello Omodunniolaiya, IRCC sending a PFL does not mean they can not be faulted for an error if you are sure that the initial payment was not charged back if you paid yourself. The issue of chargeback might not be intentional, especially if a third party was used. It may be from the side of the transmitting bank. If you are not so sure or don't have full trust or confidence in the third party, make the payment again and attach the payment receipt and a concise and direct LOE to explain the situation as unintentional. Be careful not to say too much. Best of Luck |
