Nice post op...I watched a short video by pastor schola(Tni radio) talking about Nigerians living as paupers abroad just because they want to save alot so as to build a huge mansion back in Nigeria(where they sometimes or mosttimes wouldn't visit for years)....I was so touched with the message cos I was of the opinion that you need to live comfortable wherever you are.then couple of my friends argued with me dat my perception was very wrong..afterwards I changed my decision and blv it's important to hv a comfortable life back home(even if u won't visit for year's)... But after I saw pastor shoe's message I couldn't agree less with him so my opinion is that you should live comfortably wherever you are.make ur fam(wife plus kids) more comfortable before thinking about home(naija, villa) quote author=deluxecad post=4984999]I think it's penny wise pound foolish to build a country home in your village you visit once a year or hardly even do and living in a rented house in town where you spend almost all your life. Would you rather create impression at home while you remain a tenant in town?
|
As usual it's always my friend... Some nairalanders and deniers/liars are like Russia and cold or bread and butter |
We love ourselves and that's the most important thing you know and we are going to live together not with her family's but wait ooo is it really a big deal as alot of ppl ask me the same question but most or almost all of the this ppl are muslim and they even go as far as asking me which religion would I approve for my kids....quote author=eromspete post=34947127]Not to derail but I can't help but observe from your post that you are a Christian who married a Muslim. How did you approach her family as a Christian with your marriage proposal?
|
I don't see that as a good excuse, my wife is a moslem and she still work, ur staff is giving you that excuse cos: u hv been to friendly with her or cos it's not a company such as banks, food production etc would she hv told the manager there that she can't come to work or perform her official duties? Mind u I am a Christian and I do fast sometimes as well as go to work and perform my official duties, the only thing I might do is break at 3pm. If she can't perform her duties then let her stay at home till Ramadan is over and employ someone to work on part time basis.... What if ur other worker did the same at the same time?? So ur.business will be closed down? Are u running an No ?U need to speak with ur staff's and let them understand business ethics is important than personal ethics and at such been religious should be ignored in a business premises.. Op if you go get Christian, moslem, unbelievers as ur staff..how u wan take manage them?? quote author=nedu2000 post=34918168]Open a laundry mart 3months ago with just 2 staff members. Despite our owning a big washing machine the laundry man's function is ironing, removing tough stains and operating the machine. The 2nd employee's task is to go deliver those clothes to clients, compliment the laundry man's job of manual removal of tough stains and reception work. On tuesday evening,on my return for work took a detour to my shop only to see lots of clothes piled up unwashed!!the laundry man was trying frantically to remove the tough stains manually meanwhile the lady just sat down by the reception desk doing nothing!! When I asked her why she was working or even gone to deliver clothes to clients her reply was...."i'm fasting" In fury, I simply got my hands dirty and started doing the cleaning and delivery before I headed back home. Pls NLders how do i deal with this? I feel i'm being "religiously backmailed" How should employers handle muslim employees who are fasting?
|

U ppl ehn...everytime it's always una friend but wait oo why are u so concerned with the issue since it's not ur issue... Well I know it's not ur friend ooo but even if it happens to ur friend then the girl is right if she eventually gives a No and she has every right and reason to do so abi who wouldn't when the man ain't man enough (oh u think it's only sex, money or education dat matters well no man/woman wanna hv a loose mouth as a life partner) 2moro now dem go try doggie or a*** and ur friend will rush down to tell u and in return u will either rush down to tell us here or better still look down on d girl as a No or lowlife or better still abuse her with it...wait ooo how ur friend tk do am education financially buoyant ready for marriage at 24??kidding though but he or u might be rushing to... Ritababe please come and giv advice to this man ooo quote author=adonbilivit post=34906495] that was not a sacarsm. she keeps coming back for the D so trust me my friend does not suck in bed. advice or just read comments and learn Abokina
|
Op you are one of the people usually saying I have a friend,my friend did this or did that..in as much as the story sounds true you should at least use a different moniker if you are trying to hide your identity cos I know Nigerians haven't gotten to the stage of discussing their marital intimacy with third parties and I am sure your friend didn't tell you that his wife's kitty is a well without paddock ![]() Op tell ur friend or urself that u or ur friend should think deeply before going ahead with the marriage..for instance God forbid oo it took you guyz alot of time to conceive and you went for check and the doctor said your wife has done an abortion before which is delaying her from conceiving and you end up asking her and she said she got pregnant for his boyfriend that first time...again you caught her red handed in bed and she said it's the first time...bla bla bla ...what you don't know doesn't kill you and MEN GETS JEALOUS MORE THAN WOMEN... desoul: |
Amen ooo ur comment is one of the few sensible ones here....ppl just rush to comment sha...may God heal this girl asap,I hope that helps comes her way asap quote author=lumzybo post=34882242]I don't even knw what to comment sef. But I tot baba didn't go to the mosque last week with any security so why is the report saying there was chaos BTW both security outfits last week ![]() Naija journalism I hail ooo |
God bless u, even Mc Donalds are not coming and one of there reasons would of cos be electrity, even the menus at KFC in naija are far expensive than what you get abroad from there outlets but then.I still don't support the govt giving 5k a month cos where is the money gonna come from and u know Nigerians don't hv dat much patience persius555: |
op the way God go bless you ehn,u sef go dey surprised. Even if the Fed govt won't follow ur speculations, I still believe there are other alternatives than their 5000 a month thing. My main concern is dat what would be the criteria to paying 5000 a month? Is it to be payed to all unemployed people? If so we are looking at alot of applications cos even some self employed ppl, trader's etc will still qualify. How will the govt control inbound immigrants? Cos I think with this kind of offer alot of ppl will come in from neighbouring countries and claim the money as well (why should they come to nigeria as servants when most times they earn far less than 5k) let's look at 1million immigrants alone x 5000 is already 5billion naira and I think the minimum age to qualify would be 18 years!!!! Have you ever thought about how many people will turn 18 next year?? There are better way's to introduce and implement social services or benefits some of them are mentioned by the op,other methods could be by tax deduction (if you work and pay tax you can get free voucher for some amount whichcan.then.be used at govt hospitals, schools, filling station, food stores etc) even with this there are still possibility of loopholes but it's far reasonable than handing in payment directly cos as we know Nigerians and money are like bread and mayonnaise and if care is not taken we might see rise in our population cos 5000 x 4 pikin is 20k. I still blv the 5000 of a thing is only to buy votes during the last election and if the govt manages to implement it then I see it as dead on arrival and Op do ur calculations and research well ooo cos u didn't mention Nigerians living abroad plus there kids those ones sef over plenty and all to be done is find someone back home to register for them and voila Owo Don come. Even the oyinbos dat our govt are trying to copy don't just giv u money like dat it takes alot to qualify and if u are living abroad u better forget it and yeah they pay ur kid's every month till they are at least 18 but in return the kids will pay tax from let's say 25 to 65 and they usually pay much more than what they get. Last thing where is our govt going to get the funds from abi it grows on.tree? I.mean how are u willing to fund a project that will pay 5000 to nothing less than 20million people!? I guess our govt are relying on population commission for there results if so then they are surely on a long thing. |

All this naija network providers no well, why can't they offer Nigerians an all net plan like it is in Europe, all you need to do is subscribe monthly for an amount and u can call all national network for free and even ur Internet becomes free after u exhaust UT limit ie if u subscribe for 1gb all net then it means after u exhaust ur 1gb u can still browse for free although it's slower but it is for free......mtschwwww Nigerian network provider's been scamming Nigeria since ojo gbogboro and yet they will pretend as if they are doing their customers a favour |
I swear our govt needs to do alot in ensuring citizens complies with copyright laws. Alot of international organizations are avoiding doing business in naija just cos of issues like this...
