@justwise thanks i really want to know if my dad can make use of another acct stmt this time around, he used his current before, can i use his savings now
You can use his savings account as long u get a letter from him and other documents i listed b4. Remember that as a student, getting a visa is harder than somebody who has a job, so u have to convince the ECO beyond every reasonable doubt.

just wise and others please help-

please i need advice from every one.

i intend to apply for UK visit visa by November, my elder sister will be sending an invitation letter for me to attain her graduation ceremony by early December.
I finished NYSC june this year, i started working in a private hospital this july (a Doctor) .
The hospital intends to pay my salary directly into my account, an account i have been using since 2009. the hospital does not issue pay slip.
the account will have above 1.5m by submission time.
I have a single landed property
     i have share certificates
I will stay with my sister, she will be sending her tenancy agreement and a letter confirming i will stay in her apartment
  NOW MY QUESTIONS
    1) Do they recognize invitation from graduating students in uk?
2)considering the private hospital and no pay slip do i still have a chance?
     3)should i pay for hotel resavertion ?
4)must i convert my share certificates to CSCS account b4 applying?
Pls i need general advice from every body, also any private clues will be appreciated through my email  uwakweuwakwe@yahoo.co.uk
thanks all advice is wellcome
Yes they will accept IV from a graduating student, though it must be from her school, if your sister doesn't have a place for u then book
a hotel, your bank statement will be ok since your hospital doesn't give payslip, don't forget to get a letter from your hospital too. Every other documents u listed there are ok.

Come oh,  Just dumb or whatever you call yourself, what is your problem?

Do you see UK border patrol people looking for white south africans, white zimbabweans, australians and new zealanders who do  not  have UK residency?

I will move back to nigeria when Shell, Exxon Mobil and  Chevron clean up the environmental devastation they created in the niger delta area and when IMF and the world bank release their stranglehold on the nigerian economy - keep carrying whitey's sh.it - punk.

What a bloody waste of space. I thought u have a point to make.

hi guys no one is trying to help me and i feel realy bad bout it, i thot people who know better will atleast suggest someting, you all have left my heart broken since morning, it has simply thought me a lesson not to rely on any one or anything,
Are u still a student in Nigeria now? If yes then u need to get a letter from ur school, that letter will contain ur course details, ur progress report (could be ur last semester transcript). If you are using ur daddy's bank account then get a letter from him to proof that you are allowed to use that money and that the money will be available to u in the UK, include ur birth certificate.

The most important thing here is to show tie to Nigeria,( proving to them that u be coming back to Nigeria if given a visa)

You need to get documents from ur cousin in the UK as well if he is inviting u. IV, data page of her passport, tenancy agreement, payslip or bank statement, utility bills/mortgage. . etc

i feel for the people that were deported, take heart, you never know whats around the corner.

the UK is a hostile place now for non whites - they are losing their war in libya and their economy is on the verge of bankruptcy, they have to take their frustrations out on someone!!!
They were deported cos they were illegal immigrants, stop waving ur race card here.

If it was about color of skin then ur backside would have been kicked out of the UK yrs ago.

Let me ask you again, the same question i asked you about a yr or 2 ago (if u remember) When are u moving back to Nigeria judging by ur ant-UK/West views? I asked you this question about 2yrs ago here and u said very soon.

@ Justwise and Omo Tier 1
i asked earlier in the post about the form my friend (who wanted to apply for his Msc and his CAS was issued before April 2011) should fill. You advised that he should use the April 2011 form and write English language test.  He didnt because he said it was expressly stated at UKBA website which form to use and there is no requirement for english language test in the form.  His Study Visa came out today anyway!
i just want to advise people to follow the instructions carefully because am sure he would have been refused for using a wrong form, if he had  used the new form.Thanks.
Congrat to your friend.
Your friend got the visa cos he met the requirements not cos he did not use April form. I asked your friend to use April cos u said he was given CAS before April, i did not advice your friend to write English language test for Msc course.

Since you knew the requirements, why then did u come here to ask for advice?

You came back now to tell pple that i gave you wrong advice?

Nigeria is better now please put your mind at rest my dear nigerian
Its good to be patriotic but we need to be realistic as well. If Nigeria is better as u claimed then few pple will be sleeping at the embassies everyday looking for visa, even paying more than N4million for a yr course in the UK.

she is already promising to publish on hear say.
then again it makes no impact: is she going to publish what we hv heard that exist or to make investigation and solve a problem? which of them do u think would make impact?

she is probably looking up to filling his pages by writing a lot of things and actually doing nothing.
That's not part of ethics of Journalism. u can find out abt that.
The job of a journalist is not necessarily to 'solve' problem but to expose it and bring it to public knowledge.

I don't expect any decent Journalist to publish a story without investigating it, this is just a tip-off for her to follow up.

We need to encourage her effort rather than picking holes on the idea.
Education › Re: Complains About Your School Or System? I Will Publish It! by justwise(m): 1:09pm On Jul 21, 2011
SUV:
wrong footing in journalism
how can u verify that the stories u will get here is true? it is journalist like u that seat on their desk and spread rumors and false stories around with undisclosed source.
don't be lazy, go to field (Schools) and observer happening with pictures and evidence, source for stories (happening) interview the people involved with names and evidence, then publish in your so called newspaper.
i will try and be reading your newspaper ans your section, shld i see any 'fake story from u, then i will come after u.

dont sell journalist so cheap pls.
I think you are wrong, there is nothing wrong with starting from a place like this, she will have to build on any allegation made here, i don't think she is going to publish an article solely on hear-say.

People are more likely to open up in a place like this than she walking into any school in Nigeria to interview students.

Justwise you are right, i beleive yours was a case of re issue. The op is applying as a first timer, which will be treated as a case of lost passport. I was in similar situation.
op, get the guarantor form if you can,it will safe you the hassle. And again, get ready to spend the whole day at the high commission, because cases of lost passport are treated last. i was there till half six. Good luck.
Mine was e-passport application. I went there after 11am and came out after 4pm, if u go early enough then u wouldn't have to spend the whole day there.

I never submitted any guarantor form, no swearing b4 commissioner, just made the payment and got the postal order, that was it.
