At least this will teach him a butter lesson. sorry o. Are u serious or u just want to say something cos others are doing the same? |

Plum70: Thanks for your input. Can I ask if your viewpoint is from experience or just personal opinion?
I know that for any application there is a possibility of refusal but I simply wish to reduce that possibility by arming myself with (more) cogent info. Thanks again. I say both, i was refused an America visa couple of yrs ago when i was living in southern Africa with my elder brother and his wife while my sister in-law was given, the reason given was that i don't have a strong tie to that country, i don't have a job, not married, just a fresh graduate and i was asked to go back to Nigeria to apply. Obviously there is no guaranteed visa but in your case, u stand a better chance of getting a visa, being a Nigerian shouldn't put you off. |

Oh please!! go ahead with ur application, you have a strong tie to the UK and in a good position.
Don't pay too much attention to pple telling u that ur Nigerian route will play against u. |
Exactly. It's funny that he rushed to do this before he meets Obama wednesday. The US was applying pressure on him to do so. What a slave. I guess obama's his boss.
Some of u need to stop talking rubbish, how does taking steps to fight crime in Nigeria makes him a slave? Many countries have sign that bill years ago, considering Nigeria position in world crime table nobody need to convince Nigeria to sign that bill. |
Politics › Re: Jonathan Sign Anti Terrorism/money Laundering Bill!!!! by justwise(m): 7:37am On Jun 07, 2011 |
I can't really understand some Nigerians, Nigeria should be the first country to sign that bill, do we have money laundry issues? YES!!!! Do we have terrorism issues? YES!!!, so how does signing this bill means obeying Obama's order?
The same Nigeria running their mouth here will blame the president if he did nothing about the chronic crime problems we have in Nigeria. |

juzme: @ThiefOfHearts Asians still face the same problem if the employer put priority in communication skills. I dont understand why brought the Asian into the matter. Nevertheless, if you want to compare the chances of having gainful employment between Nigerians and Asians then there are so many factors to consider. Justwise has given you one of the factors. Others may include, colour of skin, industry sector, native country’s prestige, degree of native country’s development, awareness created by the government of the native country. Etc. Again, Accent problem is not just Nigerian problem. Even some UK citizen has the same problem when they move to other countries like US. E.g. cheryl cole faced the same problem with US X- factor until recently. She will not get it, some Americans think that the world start and end in America. |

ThiefOfHearts: my friend you are drunk. That phenomena in the UK doesnt happen here. That is my point so your comment doesnt make sense in this scenario, he's asking about the US, those of us who live here are telling him the deal. Noi'm pretty sober, and the scenario is the same everywhere, Asians company owners prefer Asian workers for so many reasons. . .to avoid the problem of language barrer is one of them. |

You didnt even prove me wrong, I said there are many with accents doing well here esp Asians and that he's NOT SPEAKING WELL/CORRECTLY meaning he's most likely not speaking clearly, slowly and with intent. Majority of Asians work for Asians, they don't really face the same problem as Nigerians |

shellygirl: Hello everyone! Has any one applied for a uk student visa in the last three weeks. Things seem to have changed with all thse new rukes that the ukba has come up withrecently . You got nothing to worry about IF you genuinely want to study in the UK and meet the requirements. I know somebody who got his visa about 2wks ago, he submitted in the 17Th of May and got a text on the 25th to come and pick up his visa. If u can pass the English proficiency test (certain courses), have the money for the rest of ur studies then the rule got nothing to do with u. |

Juliet94: I still do not know why jealousy and envy exists in the heart of men when they discover that a man is flourishing. Several people have told lies about DADDY ADEBOYE. But I believe God is using him. He is not God, but God has used His name to heal people. I m a living witness to that. During the 2011 June Holy Ghost Service, a man testified that his daughter that had been dead for 4 days rose up from the dead after four days, when he prayed that the God of our father in the Lord should intervene. Some Nigerians with their lies!!! Do we still wonder why things are not getting better crime-wise even with thousands of churches? |

Mother Theresa gave her time and love expecting nothing in return. |
Slow down boo boo. Online dating isn't for everyone. Not everyone can handle online dating or chooses to. If it works for you, GOOD. Just like you think there is nothing wrong with online dating or hooking up, there are someone who disagrees with you. That's what make the world spin.
Online dating isn't the only thing people have pet peeves. There are people would not engage in blind dates, single cruises, single mixers, clubs, and public events for various reasons but that doesn't make them wrong because they do not engages in things YOU feel are right. Remember that.
My comment was directed at pple who think that online dating is wrong or that one can not find true love online. I'm not defending online dating cos it has worked for me or that i have found love online, NO, i'm basically saying that its just a meeting place just as u meet somebody in church, school, work place and get to know each other. It doesn't matter if u met ur soulmate online or offline, what matters is who u met. |

Romeo10: @ EPALAVA , please don't be in delusion, nothing is wrong in finding love online there are genuine ones & there are liers. The key word is be ( CAUTIOUS ). Those who think its bad are either ignorant or old skool.
There is no define medium / place to find Love. Love can come from ?
Church Mosque Friendship Speed dating work street University/school party /event/conference Arrange meeting
Note ! its the same people you find in all of those places that uses the internet to search for love hence, nothing change in character / persona Thank you so much!!!!! Some pple have this naive view about online meeting as if pple u meet online are from another planet. Its the same church member, class mate, work mate. Meeting somebody in church or prayer meetings wouldn't guarantee a successful rela/ship or marriage. His or her true character is not written on the forehead, the person can still lie and cheat. Online meeting is just a starting point that will lead to physical meeting and it moves on from there, the wedding is not going to take place online unless u are talking about virtual life here. |
