I never heard of any other test of English language exam apart from Toefl
If ur dad is sponsoring u, u need the bank statement containing the school fees and maintenance fees AND ur birth certificate as proof of rela/ship to ur dad. If you are 18 yrs of age then u can put the money in ur account, the amount you should have in ur account will depend on how much ur school fees is and maintenace fees are. London maintenance fee is £7200 and outside London is £5400.

Your dad can give u sponsor's letter though its not important as long as u are 18yrs of age and above

He is after ur money, i'm basically telling the bitter truth. There is nothing there u can't do for urself, the advice he is going you doesn't make sense, you have all the documents, he is not suppose to add a single paper to ur visa application package, he shouldn't complete the form for you cos you be able to answer any question about the info u put in that form when asked to heathrow airport.

Just be careful.

Using the business account for visa application is not good idea, business account is for the runing of the business and not to be spent on holidays, use the saving account, if u present ur business account, u are basically telling the ECO that u are going to use ur business money on holiday and may not come back to Nigeria cos u got thing to bring u back to Nigeria.

Secondly if u going on honey moon trip, question is when did u get married ? hope u have not been married for a long time and u want to go on a honey moon trip now cos that don"t make no sense. Madam wat u shld b interested in rite now is getting a positive result not wat the damn ECO thinks, they can think all they want, the most important thing here is for u to get the visas.like i said apply alone gone are the days whereby just becos either the wife or husband has a uk visa and he wants to turn in both applications thinkin that both will get approved. sometimes both parties get denied, even the one that has been issued before. take note

@sarnneth Madam its up to u to apply wit your husband or not but i will tell u again its best u apply alone. Not everyone who has been denied a uk has commited an immigiration offence, i don"t think so. You will be so suprise that when d both of u do turn in your application for a visa, both of you will get denied. Get your first since u have been issued before, so once u have urs, he can apply alone and also state on his apply application u are his wife, and u both intend travelling together and u already have a valid visa. They might wanna b funny and ask how come both of u did not apply together, he cld tell them he was just trying to get his financial documents together. When will they have time to explain that? Are they going to be called for an interview? I mean,  what is the sense behind this? A couple is going for a honeymoon and you are telling them to apply as individual?

sarnneth save urself and your husband all these unnecessary problem and submit your application as a couple going on honeymoon, submit your marriage certificate, pictures of the wedding, your bank statements and hotel booking confirmation.  Make a list of places u want to visit with your husband while in the UK. Don't make a mistake of givining the ECO the opportunity to doubt your marriage or to suspect your traveling intention.

Don't make things harder for urself and husand for just no reason, there is no excuse for applying alone, non of u have committed any immigration offence in the past, there is nothing to hide, applying as a couple going on honeymoon gives your application an edge, your chances of getting the visa as a couple is greater than as an individual.

You stand a better chance applying as a couple than as an individual. If you are traveling with ur husband at the same date, why then u need to apply individually? Are you going to use different documents from ur husband? Pay 2x for visa application fees?

Hi,Could someone reply on the below query on over staying in UK? I am an Indian passport holder.
- I over stayed in UK in 2006 for over a month(on visit visa) & when I was leaving(on my own) at heathrow I was stopped by immigration & they put some stamp (says some form was served on me - can't remember the form number) on my passport
- Just a year after in 2007, again I travelled to UK on business visa from India. On arrival immigration detained me at heathrow for few mins & checked my invite letter from employer & docs etc. Then they let me enter into the country. In this visit I stayed in UK for about 4 months.
- In May 2010 again I got UK business visa from India for 6 months, but never travelled. Its expired now.
- In Dec 2010 I got UK Tier 1(General) visa valid for 2yrs. Now I am planning to go to UK soon, but stilled worried about immigration at heathrow.
Based on above history - do you think I will be allowed into UK again? Could someone provide some info on this!!

There is this recruitment firm in the US that is working on getting me a 2yrs working visa in Canada and they asked me to courier my passport for visa processing. I want to know if it is possible that process my visa from there and courier my passport back to me. Though they are not asking me for any financial commitment I just want to be sure my passport is safe. Has anyone gone through such experience pls tell me the outcome.

Wait untill they get ur passport. .then u will know whether money will come into it or not. And you will have to explain to Canadain embassy how you get the visa in Canada without traveling there.

Sorry i don't blame you. You can't get MBA in any registered school on the UK by just writing dessertation. PGD could be used as a qualification for MBA then you go ahead and do MBA.

I have checked the website and I can't seem to find any instructions as to how to submit visa applications. I can only see download form and fees.
After filling the forms and gathering all the documents, do I just go to the embassy without an appointment?

You will fill the form online and make the payment online as well and submit, then u will be asked to print out the payment receipt and the form. One of those forms will contain your appointment date. Most importantly the 20 pounds postal order.

How much is ur fees? And how much did u put down as deposit? Is that 12 thousand pounds include the maintenace fees(7200) and fees?

Some pple get their visa 4 or even 5days after submitting and some upto 15days too

when it comes to Immigration issues they will always point fingers at africans,, The UK government relies heavily on funds from International students so if they decrease the number of students coming into the UK they have everything to loose, how many UK students pay 10,000 quid a yr, even those who go to uni rely on HECS or scholarships from the government, This might also be some sort of propaganda to increase the number of students applying for student visas, (since na the same naija people dey advise them, na them go dey teach dem how to exploit we we and of course more money for the UK govt ), Nigeria is not to blame for everything,who hides all the money for the corrupt leaders? how many homes do these corrupt govt officials own in the UK, who has destroyed the whole Niger delta waters , neo-colonialism is still on, Only thing that can save us is some sort of revolution, not the type where we just change leaders but our system of government,
