I don't think u are real, dream is different from reality
Why the rest of the world are forward-looking,Nigeria/Nigerians are backward-looking.Nigerians consider their current situation as being insurmountable, therefore have settled to the believe that poverty, backwardness, corruption is part of our culture and nothing can be done about it. Our Engineering graduates after studying abroad would prefer working in a hotel in the uk or us as a steward rather than return to Nigeria to create something out of his wide exposure to knowledge. If brilliant minds stay away from the country due to the perceived goodies abroad, who will then fix Nigeria? The same mediocre you left right?Thats our problem. We tend to run away from our problems rather than confronting them 'Nigeria is poor today because she is rich' The problem in Nigeria is not that of resource but corruption, mis-management of resources, extremely greedy, the 'top dogs' will get rid of any young mind who is trying to end 'business-as-usual' culture. The environment is so hostile to any 'outsider' who will not play 'games'. You don't seems to get the bigger picture here. Its not black and white |

WackyJ1: If nigeria had better opportunities most of these things can be averted. The truth is if these criminals were desperate enough to fake passports and marriages they would have found opportunities in Nigeria if there were any. Thats the point!! Some pple are busy here quoting Bible and talking in past tense. We are talking about reality!!! |

victorazy: Yes is not easy for ordinary Nigerians. Ordinary Nigerians needs only wisdom to succeed the situation "read the book of Proverb in Bible" indeed, Nigeria has it all, am only traveling out for studying. Lebanese man spent only one year here in Nigeria, and went back to come with his family that Nigeria is the land flowing with milk and honey. You really need to wake up and stop quoting Bible verses |

chamber2: Stop speaking in tongues I think this is rather too harsh.
In Nigeria, entrepreneurship is still at its low ebb and businesses face little or no competition,so someone who ventures into that may progress faster than say another fellow who starts in the US who may be out competed (all things being equal). I don't think u are real, dream is different from reality |

chamber2: Is that supposed to be a joke?
He is right,Nigeria has abundant untapped resources. The level of competition abroad is fierce and i think most of those countries have gotten to their pick and therefore provids little opportunities, unlike before.
Asia and Africa (in my view) provides greater opportunities. Yes but that doesn't mean that those resources are available to ordinary Nigerian to tap into. But what resources are we referring to here? |

lagerwhenindoubt: ^^^ whether fake or real Nigerian passport, the effect is the same, we are treated like criminals by default and tarred with the same brush. 10 is quite a small number compared to the likely number of 10,000 Nigerians living and working in the UK illegally. I always wonder how genuine travelers seeking longer travel visas are given hell by the British High Commission and crooks flood the UK like they have been sleeping with UK immigration officers Thats the prob, few criminal minded Nigerians have made life difficult for decent ones |

I am UK born, and UK passport holder. My girlfriend stopped work at her company 2 months ago. But when she gave in her documents for the UK tourist visa, it made it look like she still worked there. All her other documents were good. Bank statements, and every thing. My girlfriend, knows the human resourses girl ( the one do the hire and fire) very well, and she said no problem if the embassy phone, she will say she still work there. Any way, the day the embassy phone, the HR girl is off sick, so they speak to another girl in the office, who say my girlfriend leave the company 2 months ago. So now we think the UK tourist visa will not be given. Because we gave document that say she did still work there. What to do now please. I am so worried, she is very worried. Will she be stopped from apply for any UK visa for 10 years? we plan to marry in UK in this summer, August. Can we marry here in Nairobi, then apply for spouse visa? or will that also be turned down, because of before fake work document. Please help or advise what she should do.'vette
That is what you should do if her visa is refused. |

4rel4eva: I was actually refused today. About the birth certificate should i just and my name on it and submit it. coz like geting a new one would cost me time. and its not really a birth certificate its a birth registration form. As for my dads company documents i would just include it before they start asking me how he made the money. Its ur decision, i can only advice u to do it well to avoid making a mess of it. You can include ur dads company documents if u want but i'm basically saying that its not really necessary, you should considerate on addressing those points the ECO raised in the refusal letter. |

4rel4eva: Please guys i need your help. i have been refused Uk student visa for two times in a roll. i just got my refusal letter today. i need you guys to help me out. my first application was refused because my name was not on my birth certificate, i now applied again and stated reason why my name was not on the birth certificate. my reason was that when the birth certificate was issued i was yet to be given a name. i now include an affidavit and my baptismal card as more evidence as relationship between i and my dad. Now the second application was refused because i used the same cas statement i used when i applied for the first time. they said since i have used the cas statement before that it is now invalid.I have sent an email to the school to send me another cas statement. what am now asking is should i print out another bank statement, should i write my name on the birth cert or should i leave it lik that and just explain why my name is not on it or should i do the both, should i also include my dads company documents since my dad is writing a sponsorship letter with his companies header, should i also include a bank reference letter, should i also inlcude a tax clearance and please advice me on what other documents i should include. Please you guys are the best, and this is really urgent as i want to reapply on monday. my school is doing orientation on the 2nd and class starts on the 7th of february. Please i need your advice. I want to be amongst giving thanks and praises to the Lord our God. When were u refused the visa? You can print another bank statement if the one u have now is not more than a month old. Get a birth certificate with ur name on it, you can include a bank reference letter but its not really necessary, tax clearance and ur dady's company documents are not necessary. The important things u need are the bank statement, CAS, that brith certificate and those qualifications u used in obtaining the admission |

May22nd: For international e-passport , should I need to pay for money in order to replace it with the machine readable one I have that will soon expired. If so, how much does it cost to get international e-passport? You definitely have to pay for the e-passport, if u visit immigration office u will be told the exact amount, i think its about N20,000. Just be careful cos there are alot of pple dealing on fake ones, when you visit Immigration office for it, they will take ur finger print, digital signature and ur picture will be taken as well |
