i am john, if anybody have same experiance or any idea about this could you share with me it should be great help.
in 2004 i applied for the UK work permit unfotunatelly my visa was refused then i did not appeal against i giveup after that i did some diplomas plus work experiance now 2011 i want to apply for UK student visa. incause if i apply again will they refeuse my application ? or will they consider my current position?

Can you remember why u were refused visa in 2004?

My broda no mind all this bad belle people, we nigerians are not always happy when we see that our own broda is progressing, is there anything worng if he wants to visit his father inlaw in usa,
the best way is immigration for your wife just as some sugested and since shes married your application can be filled with hers also, tho the time duration may be very long but i heard its not that long anymo, that u can finish everything in a year depending on how fast u urself are, make enquires from other better sources, to confirm, the time duration has been shortened,
another good way is for u and your wife to file in for permanent resisdence, then while waiting for the application to be completed, theres one oda visa that they do issue while u are waiting for your permanent residence application to be complteted, that one is also ok, its ussually fr those who has filled thier permanent residence application but cants wait , so they will issue them a visa to travell to the united state while waiting, lastly, u and your wife can ask him to send u guys normal invitation letter, but the above two are far better than this, hope i was helpful

In that case, yes u can email them if u really need that passport for the interview. Email and explain the situation to them

@Justwise can you see that Donchippy is a die-hard scammer? I met a qatari man yesterday and told me how nigerians had been going about begging for financial help here. I was ashamed of myself. If Donchippy had come out to tell people the whole truth about qatar, i would not have labelled him a scam artiste.
Only two weeks ago , two nigerian travellers were stranded at the Doha airport, while those who did their visas refused to show and pick them up. For those who don't know, the work visa window-dressed by Donchippy is through a qatari sponsor and still require a lot of further processing from Donchippy and the qatari when you enter qatar before you are given the actual residence permit. If Donchippy disappears as their likes in qatar always do without doing all required, you won't be able to work. if al farzaa (police), catches you. You will be taken straight to deportation camp and next to MMA, Lagos.
I don't call hm a scammer baselessly, i have researched into his being. I can tell you he is a scammer. Imagine someone claiming he is in nigeria an hour ago and next hour, he is in Qatar. Anyone that deals with him, does that at his or her own loss.

That says it all.

i will tell them 2 get their letter of identification, thats all they need right?

Progress report/results wouldn't be bad, this is just my suggestion, its not written in Border Agency website as a requirement, i'm basically suggesting things that could be used as a prove for students.

It may help, though they need to get a letter from their school, will they be on holiday then?

Your brother can invite u as long as he can show that he is capable of doing so, If has a good job and an accommodation for all of u attending the wedding then good, OR you can decide to book for hotel accommodation for the duration of ur stay in the UK.

Your brother can send u his payslip/bank statement, his tenacy aggreement, data page of his passport and the IV.

If ur two sisters are not working or have something that could bring them back to Nigeria then it will be hard for them to be issued a visa.

It could be out this week, u don't need to go to VSF, they will inform u when its out.

Yes as I have said above,the british army has sent me the letter.It is in my possession and yes that is part of the documents that I will send with my application. The other thing is, should I attach the forms that were served on me when i was removed from UK?

No, u don't have to, u will indicate that in the form, there will be a question where u are required to disclose any previous immigration prob.

The army sent the letter to me,sorry I am from Kenya only that we dont have a forum like this here. So the letter is with me here but they said they will send a fax to the british high commission if need be. 5 years, wow that will just ruin just about everything!

Ok, why not ask the army to send u that letter so as to attach it with ur visa application?

Hello everyone, it is really good having a forum like this where peope help each other with the knowledge that they have. I just need some advice here please, I got married in 2006 by a british citizen,applied for marrieage visa in 2008 and got it. When I got there we only stayed together for 6months since we had domestic violence issues.I moved out in 2009 apriland looked for a job and we didnt keep contact.December 2009 i travelled to france for xmas,when i was coming back i was stopped at heathrow term5 and asked numerous questions.They were left with my passport waiting to call my husband to clarify our marriage status. I had already applied to go to british army since october 2009 and finished my interviews and ADSC in april 2010. By this time they had found my hubby and he had said that he didnt want anything to do with me,so they cancelled my visa (that was to expire march 2011).I tried applying for visitors visa while there as i wait for allocation in the army but they refused and i was served with removal papers and given 7 days.I was out by the date they had asked me to leave but they paid for my flight back.
Now the British army sent me a letter with my starting date in May and so have to get a visitor's visa to go back and join. My question is the fact that they paid my fare back will this affect my application?Please advise

I think its 5yrs ban if your ticket cost is picked up by the British govt.
Did the Army send that letter to Nigeria or an address in the UK?

am hoping i'll get help and useful info here as others have gotten in the past, am planning to go to the uk in april for my cousin's wedding, its the first saturday of may, on the home office website,it was stated that you show a letter from your school or something to that effect, the thing is am still seeking admission, the admission thingy is still in the works and on my passport,i indicated that am a student, since am not yet in school,how do i go about it?, will it affect my chances of getting the visa?,

You just have to indicate that ur admission is a working progress, the diffult thing is to convince the BHC that u be returing back to Nigeria after the visit. Its 50/50 situation

Im new here and I tried going back to read the begining of the thread for Visa requirements for family visa, but the list there was from 2008, can someone pls give me an updated list.My sis is going with her family, hubby and kids, do they all have to fill out individual forms for the parents and kids, the kids are all under five. The husband is self employed (md of hisown outfit) what documents can he present?
They are going to visit family, does the spouse of the person inviting need to sign the sign the invitation letter? Is it of any benefit to use more than one invitation letter? What documents will need to be added to the invitation letter for uk? Would using a lawyer be of any help, a ladys says we should come and pay 50k which according to her is cheap.

There is no need for a lawyer or pay anybody to do it, your sis need to apply for family visit visa, only one form to fill, in that form she will have to indicate that she is going with her kids who are under five, she will have to attach their birth certificates with the visa application form and one invitation letter is all she need. If she is invited by a family friend then that person have to prove that him or her has enough place to accommodation them all. If your sis or her hubby is sponoring the trip then bank statement that will show enough money for the trip to the UK.

u dnt even know the mean of CAS, before any school can order A CAS for any student ,even the school have to pay for the CAS, CAS IS ISSUED BY THE HOME OFFICE AND SCHOOLS PAY FOR IT.SO NO SCHOOL GIVES U CAS WITHOUT PAYMENT, GIVE ME ONE SCHOOL THAT U KNOW DOES AND I WILL TELL U WATEVER U ASK FOR NOWWW, LACK OF KNOWLEDGE

Confirmations of Acceptance for Studies.(CAS) can be issued to a prospectus student IF the school did not ask for deposit, all the student need to do is to show the BHC that him or her has all the money to cover the fees and maintenace money.
Last yr admission season Hull University did not ask for deposit and CAS was issued. Stop shouting at me, no amount of shouting will get u out of this.
