Cynical part of me wants Reform to win the next GE and start deporting illegal immigrants and stop the boat, close all asylum centres and stop all foreign aids

What is happening in America right now will be nothing compare to what this country will experience, demonstrations and unrest will be a daily thing, many work-shy and benefit scroungers will have nothing else to moan about.

This need to happen before this country wake up to the danger of Reform political party.

To say the truth, when I saw VDM post on this issue concerning the hospital balance to be paid which Edo government volunteered to pay, the issue of discrepancy between the amount mentioned initially and the final amount that was later sent to Edo government officials by the hospital. I was convinced straight away that this guy VDM and the Edo state government rep were just being petty. Even despite the fact that the allegation came directly from VDM, I was sure of them being petty for alleging that the deceased sister and the hospital management were trying to dubiously increase the amount and fleece the government in the process.


And he ended up messing things up, alleging that the sister to the victim and the hospital are fraud

You are mixing things up here, the girl in the hospital is still alive, so I don’t know why you are talking about deceased sister and hospital bills are.


VDM did not make any false allegations, he stated things as it’s, the girl’s mother and the hospital has a lot of explanations to make as the Edo state government is now investigating that bill. The doctor is alleging that the girl’s mother registered the daughter under an issuance policy which is not eligible to hence the initial low bill, it was when they found out about the issuance issue that the bill was increased.


So I don’t know which video you watched to draw your conclusion that VDM messed up the whole thing.

Thanks for your response but I mean I registered and got a national insurance number but never worked and don’t remember the number as I possibly stored in a device I no longer use. So I am concerned that if I put No and they later find out that I have can they flag it as deception and me wanting to hide my intentions. Do I put No indicating I do have it but don’t have it stored then explain it under additional information or is that unnecessary.

2. International passport is your Nigerian passport

3. You don't have to add their all their details if you don't have

4. If don't have NI and never worked in the UK before then you got nothing to worry about.

Nigeria social media would buzz tomorrow. Those who got involved didn't handle the issue well.

VDM and the sister really messed up. A life was at stake and they were doing those shenanigans on social media accusing each other.

You never disappoint one bit, so VDM should have taken Ruth abroad for treatment or should have assembled a team of doctors to give Ruth 247 treatment? VDM used his platform to raise awareness about this and was out to help phina but she decided otherwise and spent days fighting the only person willing to help her get justice for her sister.

If you are building a house in Nigeria for your parents then definitely it’s a good idea . However, if you’re building as an investment then it’s a terrible decision.

If you live abroad legally having mortgage is one of the best investments you could make, you will pay rent for life but mortgage has a time limit

Dude this is very simple, if they stopped you at the POE and asked if you have the money you presented during the application and you said yes and you are asked to show them, you have many options, you can open your bank app, or show them in one of the cash machines at the airport. This is a random thing, they don't stop everybody to ask this but if you are picked then get ready to show them the money.

They are not interested in that printout, what they want to see is the actual money in your account. People can remove the money after printing out the statement.

I agree that immigrants are vital for many sectors in the US. However my grouse is that these companies are happy for them to remain illegal because they are a source of very cheap labour - no need to pay them going rate, no need to provide medical insurance or other employment benefits - they're illegal aliens right, who can they report to??

They should be lobbying the government to regularise the status of their workers to enable them work freely and be paid the going rate - which will also benefit the government in the form of (increased) tax receipts, reduced reliance on the state etc

You are making my point, I’m not against border control, I’m against controlling skin colour and treating people like animals which is what Trump is doing.

We will have fewer millionaires and billionaires today without cheap labour provided by illegal workers.

All the policies in the US currently is achieving same results in the UK, low job growth, inflation and more despair. That’s what all these talk of shutting borders achieves, nothing more!

I think the UK is not as bad as the Trump economy as the moment. Remember that any figure coming out of Trump administration can not be trusted as it maybe white washed to make him happy else your job will be gone if you present true reflection of the economy

They need to introduce a regularisation scheme for existing illegal workers e.g. those with no criminal record, those who have lived X years in the US etc - even if it's a temporary visa like we have here, with no direct route to settlement.

At least the workers will be able to work without fear and exploitation - unfortunately many are paid below minimum wage, no insurance or employment rights etc.

One choice they can make and it’s relatively easy imho is actually STOP THE BOATS and deport those in hotels/stop funding them! Just borrow some of Trump’s harsh methods and the illegal migrants will get the point and stop coming altogether. Once KS manages that, he’ll steal the thunder from Reform/Online Right and legal migrants will support this as well. It’s a no brainer for me.

KS should not even think about it else labour party will be gone by next general election. What Trump is doing can only work in a lawless country like US. The British justice system will not even allow the govt to do what Trump is doing. Stop the boat YES but the moment they get into the country they should be treated with some level of dignity.

If KS decided to do that then expect the economy to tank and everyone of us will 'collect'.

Ask Americans farmers and construction companies how Trump immigration policy is benefiting them.
