Xilsbridalhouse: So why did you remove my thread ? Is it against Nairaland’s rules and regulations? Because I have seen so many of such topics on front page or is this just another beef ? Your first thread was removed because you repeated the video, one video is just enough then you can picturials it with captions and explanation . In your second thread you did exactly what i explained above and i have no issue with that. |

Marcgrace: Hello @Everyone !
I have started maintaining my proof of funds for 28 consecutive days. I want to know whether I should continue making transactions (deposits and withdrawals) during the 28-day period or if there shouldn’t be any transactions at all for the entire 28 days? There is no need for transactions in that account, you can do that but it’s not necessary |

May God be with us... Up till now CAS never show for more than a month now, Not really, universities are trying to prevent what happened last yr, they are making sure that only genuine student are given admission. |

Please stop posting your fraudulent POF questions here, whatever POF arrangement you have with your agent and bank keep it out of this thread.
And for those of you using untouchable POF to get a visa , make sure you have enough money to sustain yourself when you get to the UK or have someone to support else…
You will be here very soon starting a thread blaming the school and everyone else for your misfortunes. |

What are your plans after graduation and what are your career goals.
So with that you can tell them of your plans of returning to ur home country to get better jobs while advancing your career.
Note: Never make it seem like your home country is bad in an way. For them is a red flag on your side. That does not fool anyone any more, you get a better job in Nigeria than the UK? You spent millions in a year just to return to Nigeria to start looking for job? |

Neyopumpin02: I chose this particular college because most UK universities don't accept certificates from the Benin Republic. The few that do are very expensive and require IELTS. This college, however, accepts my certificate and has a more affordable deposit. I had applied for a visa in December but withdrew the application due to an enrollment deadline. Rather than asking for a refund, I decided to stick with this college to avoid the stress of another admission process. I hope you are not going to give this answer during the interview? |

Neyopumpin02: Thanks once again for the swift response yes I did pre cas interview and school name is Regent College London Why college? Considering all the restrictions that comes with it as a foreign student. Prepare to answer questions as to why you decided to spend that much for college education. Find something unique about that college, tell them why you decided to study in that college, tell them why you decided to study that course. Etc |

milekhuoba7: Greetings leaders in the house!
Please I need your wise counsel... I am about to apply for my UK Student Visa, and intend to stay with my kid sister who lives with her husband and two children, but I don't want to show that I have family members in the UK so it doesn't raise a red flag that I might not want to return after my studies.
So I plan to book two nights hotel reservation, while I also book for apartment viewing upon arrival.
Note: I am a first time applicant without any travel history, but my home ties is strong (wife, 3 children, employment and inherited house).
Thank you Home tiers got nothing to do with the UK student visa application. It’s not a factor, requirements are straightforward because it’s a PBS. |

Start from your bank, especially where the deposit money is saved. They will offer all the help you need free of charge. Alternatively look for a bank that offers good mortgage rates and visit them , they will take through the process. After mortgage application and approval then solicitor takes over. |

Cyberknight: I definitely don't think Reform is factoring in winning votes from ethnic minorities to get it where it wants to be. They will of course get votes from the UK equivalents of the Trump's Latino voters, but those aren't their target audience. Vote from ethnic minorities for a party like Reform is more than numbers, to have an ethnic minority as a leader and managed to get a good chunk of votes from that community will give Reform a solid ground to push back on accusation of racism. |

Zahra29: Perhaps. I suppose it depends on how much weight they place on Muslim voters which is allegedly the group that Zia was courting before he resigned. Time will tell.
I agree that Zia was naive. However even Elon's father was on the radio yesterday claiming that his genuis son was inexperienced about real politics, hence his faux pas. He didn't mean it. Basically pleading for Trump to forgive him lol. Muslim votes carries a lot of weight in many cities in this country, many politicians fight for their vote, ask George Galloway because he understands that game very well and have benefited from it. Reform stands no chance in cities like Bradford, Halifax, Luton, some part of Manchester where Muslim communities outnumbered Whites Reform needs votes and validation from ethnic minority hence the attempt to appoint one despite many white candidates |
Travel › Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by justwise(mod): 3:12pm On Jun 07, 2025 |
Cyberknight: Zia may be young, but I don't think he's that naive. I think that he wasn't starry eyed about his actions when joining, and knew all about Reform and what it means, but joined for his own reasons (basic self interest - getting in on the ground floor of a party that is still statistically likely to form the next government in 2029), and had to leave when his position became untenable. If Zia truly joined Reform with the mindset that he will gain anything personally then he is a dumb as a rock. Reform just like UKip is Farage personal project, a party that has issues with multiculturism is not a party for non-white communities. White people that join Reform do that because they stand with Farage silently on make-up of Britain, Farage is to them what Trump is to white racist Americans. African American attending Trump rallies are positioned in front wearing those useless T-shirts: black for Trump, how many African Americans are in Trump's cabinet? Yes Zia and many ethnic minorities who joined Reform are just ignorant |

Zahra29: Hamza Yousef was replaced by a white man
Vaughan Gething was replaced by a white woman
Kemi Badenoch will most likely be replaced by a white man in the person of Robert Jenrick
Labour leaders and deputies have only ever been replaced by white men (and more recently a white woman)
So I don't think it's necessary for Zia to be replaced by another ethnic minority unless as you say, Reform specifically want the optics of an ethnic minority in the party leadership. They have more than enough white men/women for party leader but that is not the point, the inclusion of ethnic minority as party leader for a party like Reform is for a reason, They need a colourful exterior just to win more votes from non-white communities Zia was very naive or ignorant to think that joining Reform will bring any change. The bedrock of Reform political party is ..Make Britain White Again |

Zahra29: Not necessarily. The fallout when Rupert Lowe was kicked out of the party appeared very damaging, especially as he had/has a lot of support amongst most Reform members, but Reform still went on to win the Runcorn by-election and hundreds of council seats.
If they find a "competent" replacement and professionallise, they'll probably be fine. On the radio yesterday, Reform callers said they either didn't know who Zia was, or didn't care that he'd left as they were ultimately voting for Nigel lol Competent from which race is the question… they need an ethic minority to be shown as a trophy so as to win the race war then after the election they go back to their default setting |

Goodenoch: Yes, about banning burqas.
I find it incredibly telling that that was what she chose as her FIRST ever question to ask in parliament. Shows clearly what her priorities (and that of the party (-minus Zia obvs)) are. Not the economy, not anything more important, instead she chose to ask if the PM would ban the burqa on security grounds as if burqas are a major factor in any of the security issues the country is facing.
I've said it before that all those doing "I support Reform even though I'm a 'X'" will later find their square roots, as the core ideology driving the party reveals itself, same as all the "'Ys' for Trump" people are finding theirs, albeit too late in their case. Well..she went for the most important thing in her mind, she is not stupid , she knew that such comment was going to make headlines , what I found surprising is these ethnic minorities who joined political parties like Reform and republicans just to prove that they are not racist . Zia Must have known Farage history and some of the stuff some Reform members said during election campaign but he still joined in with his two legs. It was the case of: look at my African American friend then after election they go after DEI with full force |
