Please this question is directed to those in the UK 🙏.
I was about sending accommodation fees to a landlord in the UK, but my bank requires his IBAN number which the landlord said he doesn't have or rather, they don't use it in the UK. Now, I'm skeptical of sending him the money through a naira account he wants to give me for the payment.
I told him that I'm ready to pay for 2-3 months rent upfront when I arrive. He didn't agree at first but just today, he said no problem on my request.
I have never met him before and I wanted to ask those already living in the UK if they believe or think this is real or am I falling into the wrong hands?
Please someone knowledgeable with such should kindly assist me to understand this situation and if I have nothing to worry about.

People have outright peace of mind in Nigeria. It’s easily attainable in Nigeria unlike abroad. You get so soaked in debt that you can’t even break of.

People staying in places I cannot even stay in Nigeria. Doing works I can never settle for with no life of their own

Ask same people how many properties they OUTRIGHTLY own abroad and see if you will find 1 in 20.

Please, I need urgent guidance on what to do next. I received an NSF email from UKVI requesting additional documents, which I submitted over two weeks ago. Since then, I’ve received no acknowledgment — no confirmation, no update — and I’ve resent the email multiple times without any response.

I’m genuinely worried and don’t know if I should escalate this.

If making a paid call or sending a paid email to UKVI is the best next step, could anyone kindly guide me through the process — how to go about it, the correct channel, payment method, and what to expect?

I’m honestly very anxious right now. I don’t feel like myself anymore — this situation is really taking a toll. Please, any advice or experience shared would mean a lot to me.

All that you listed above are not issues of concern. You can get your borehole for water. I have mine and I have solar lights which costs me #3.2m. this wouldn't be an issue to any returnee even though I agree that government has not done enough, government needs to do more.

If I go ahead to print the banks statement now, but part of the money is removed later. I need help with this question.

When UKVI agent is verifying the bank statement, do they also confirm if the total amount? Or just the transaction and amount as at when the bank statement is printed?

Application will be submitted within 10 days time.

Don't declare to the school irrespective of the reason for denial but declare it when you are to apply for Visa.
Many schools will deny you admission if you ever had a refusal in any other country

In your opinion, do you think paying full tuition increases one's chance of visa approval? We paid the entire £14,700 tuition at once.

My wife is the MA and we are a family of three.

Aside from the marriage certificate and family pictures that we uploaded, we also uploaded document to a land with the approved survey plan and the deed to the land. We also uploaded a 30 days statement of account.

I have applied for another study visa now and it’s been approved. My husband want to apply as my dependant now and there is a part that says if we have lived together for the past 2 years. Should it be yes or no ? . He was in Uk during my school break at the time . It was when my visa got curtailed he travelled back to meet me . We have been living together since then till now (A year plus ). Should it be yes or no to if we have been living together for the past 2 years ?
