Hello everyone. Thanks to justwise for this forum.
Please I am planning to apply for a family visitor visa. My family visitor visa expired years ago. I just came back from the UK 5months ago after the completion of my studies. My dilemma is I am not working at the moment, my parent are my sponsor. They both live in the UK. Will my not having a source of constant income hinder my application? How can I convince the VO that I am just visiting family? Mind u, I have been frequently travelling to the UK to visit family in the last 10years, as parent and siblings lives in the UK.

pls justwise,kind of confused now, please i need your help. i was refused a uk visa recently stating my account is empty. i contacted my bank which said the uk home office never contacted them and upon which my bank wrote them officially stating my account really emanated from them attaching my statement of account. i have sent a reminder to them which they haven't acknowledge.
please i wanna know how to go about it, as have been banned wrongly for 10 yrs except they take a second look into my application as have been accused wrongly. thks

I remembered this issue came up before, I understand your insistent on saying the truth, I really hope we can be more truthful in this country but sometimes expediency demands that you do not volunteer certain information that was not directly requested if it will jeopardize your mission.

Yes the main purpose of travel is child birth but you are also visiting and pragmatism can make you present your answer to appear more acceptable though you are not divulging full information

A man share his madam experience on this forum when she was refused entry because she said her purpose of coming to Canada is to give birth and she did not indicate it earlier in her application.

I think it will be foolhardy to say you were coming to give birth in Canada at the POE if you have not previously indicated so in your application but then one should endeavor to indicate so in the application since it is not against their law, the only difference is the required available fund will be higher

I have to disagree with you here, this is not about volunteering info, this is about info which is core/material to your visit to Canada. You are going to Canada to give birth and NOT holiday. If you withhold that info during your visa application then turn up at POE to disclose it then your chances of getting sent back is high.

Lying about your intentions means that you have something to hide.

Chicago is the only POE that iv had to do an exit interview before and its only commonsensical to give other people heads up.

No its not dramatic, POE is exactly when they should check that to make sure you did not leave any bill unpaid.

And if you are exiting through Chicago make sure you have your receipts and zero balance in your carry-on bag.
The only point of exit where everyone gets interviewed. Thank God I had my receipts on me...who knows what they would have done.

I just want to sound a note of warning to all the Chicago mothers,pls and pls do not try to go in by
That Poe at all. I know it has been said several times but this is a fresh advice. My very close friend was sent back just last week after proofing
All that was necessary,it's a very dangerous Poe.
Let's try as much as possible to avoid that place.

I think people should disregard this advice, its only dangerous if you are found wanting. some people who got sent back don't always tell the whole story.

The good thing with the UK refusal letter is that it tells you all you have done wrong and what is expected of you.

All you need to do in your next application is to correct those mistakes mentioned in that refusal letter

You need business visit visa.

1. You really need to read this thread because that has been answered too many times.
Please, please kindly list them for me as the thread is too long(160 Pages)

You need an invitation letter explaining the business details

4. You need to submit both your business account and savings account and not forgetting tax certificate.
The tax certificate is not a problem but where my concern is filling the amount for my salary cos the savings account do receive money from my business account via transfer and it is not consistent , so how do I deal with this stuff?

Do you pay yourself a salary? As a business owner you don't need to worry about income inconsistency because your tax certificate will take care of that at the end of financial year.

Yes I have been working for more than 5 months but payments have been made into my account after confirmation.

I also want to inform you that I use my account to do my personal business. It's just a small biz which I also have on the Konga mall. I supply gadgets. Sometimes my friends refer friends to me to get stuff as I post on my BBM so they make payment into my account. I have received an order to supply 4 computers... about 1m in toltal. (2 iMac computers and 2 MacBook computers) I hope this won't be an issue with the ECO. This has been quite long about 4 months ago

You need to explain this in your application form supported with any paper evidence you can get hold of else it will be an issue

I got a funding for my PhD in UK, but after pay my fees, I will be left with about £9,500 annual maintenance fee (I am studying outside London). The visa requirements started that I needed to show 9 months maintenance fee which sum up to £9,135. My concern is that, £9,500 is all I have for a year and it will be stated on my funding Confirmation letter , can I go ahead and make my VISA application?

Your response is highly needed.

That is all you are expected to show for now but during your visa extension you will be expected to show that you have that amount for your maintenance for that year.

The refusal letter said £4000 and you did not explain or submit any document to support his source of income.

You did not explain the inconsistency of payment going into your salary account as well.

I have to add student questionnaire to my documents..I have filed other forms through pdf, but I can't find the student questionnaire on the canada immigration site. Or am I supposed to use biro to fill the student questionnaire?

Of course you can do that if its not available to be completed online and the file number is right there on the same form.

Hello house, Please I need your advice . My sister applied for student visa to canada on the 3rd of March 2016 after getting an admissiom from university of winnipeg and till now we haven't heard anything from them after her biometrics. Her status on the tracking site is still saying "being processed". She is devastated and I can't watch her go through that after leaving her school in Ghanafor something better (canada) and this is happening. The agent that help us isn't calling us back or picking our calls.
Do you know what the problem might be? Or what do you advice we do?

Check on top of that form for any Ref number if any else leave it blank and move on to other section since it did not come with * sign.
