It's been 2 weeks since passport was submitted after admin review was successful. Is it meant to take this long ? I called them but was just a waste of time and £25 just fly like that lol
Is there anyone is a similar position? Email them if you haven't yet, I can imagine how frustrating the whole waiting time can be. |

jinnyz: Hello Ladies I recently had my baby in Calgary, Canada. Before I applied I read nairaland from pg 1 to 20 plus then. Pls let's read the ALL the pages before asking any question.
At the point of Entry the officer just asked my why am in canada, I said Visiting . He asked who?, what I do for a living & other random questions that has nothing to do with my pregnancy, don't think I spent more than 1 minute him.
My bill for Vaginal Delivery
Admittance fee 838, Hosp fee daily 3673 (For 24 hrs) Baby's Hosp bill 1080 Obstetrician fee 500 Paediatrician fee 250 Total CAD$6,341
Other Expenses Birth Certificate long 60 Birth Certificate short 41 Passport photo 25.2 Canadian Passport 107 Nigerian Travel Doc 100 Post to Nig. Embassy to & Fro 40 My baby's KLM ticket 243.5
Please Note: If they had asked me if I was pregnant at the Point of entry I would have said YES . There is no point lieing when u r obviously pregnant. If u r lucky u can meet a good officer.
This bill does not include seeing doc before & after delivery. I posted my bill to give a guideline, bills varies from the city u give birth, the doctor, type of delivery and also if there is complication.
I want to use this opportunity to thank Hotstepper for her assistance when applying for baby's Nigeria document. I wld HV applied for Nigerian Visa or passport for baby BT she explained to me that its not necessary. I should just apply for Emergency Travel Certificate for baby which is cheaper & faster.
If you need further information I will try my best to answer. Goodluck! You lied already and this is what I don't understand about we Nigerians, you have the money to give birth in Canada, it's not against the law to give birth in Canada and when asked you said visiting mean while you are actually going to give birth. We are really not helping our image as Nigerians |

staggerlee: Chief, I have never solicited for money from anyone through this thread, anyone that have asked to pM have never asked for financial gains. You can ask openly if anyone here has paid me anything or have asked anyone here for money. Those that I told to PM me asked me questions I didn't go out of my way to ask them to PM me. Just some minutes ago I posted the new procedure of obtaining a SAPS police clearance for free. Only a privilege few know about the process as of today. I fear for ourselves o, since time in memorial that have been giving useful tips for free no one saw it as offensive now I am holding back because some haters here feel when I share am always boastful about it and I do over sabi its now an issue I don't make false or careless allegations, I have been following your posts recently and you made it clear that time for freebies are over because you run this as a business now. I'm not going to dig this with you because it will have the opposite effect. My initial post on this stands. |

@staggerlee
I understand that you don't want to offer your advice for free anymore and I respect that however, I have to remind you that soliciting for clients through this thread will not be accepted. Asking people to pm you rather than answering the question here will also not be allowed.
Money doesn't exchange hands in whatever we do here.
Thank you. |

oluwatobilobami: it really helped me bro thanks a lot. but can I get a link to apply online. You can't just apply online straightway, you need to get your daddy involved . If your daddy got his British citizenship by naturalization and you are not born in the UK then its not going to be easy like that. You may have to do a DNA test to go along with the application. Your daddy needs to make this application himself on your behalf. The link i gave you has all the info including the application link. |

Trina0936: I only spend on those who spend on me Its called mutualism. Besides hardworking people dont wait for someone to make them somebody. They work for it. I hate lazy peeps generally. I guess that include women who run after rich men? Women who suddenly get loved up with you because you are somebody? I love the idea of 'mutualisation' but how many women understand that? Very few. ..for a record..i got no problem whatsoever with the idea of spending on somebody you love but it shouldn't be the condition of love. |

MoAbs: Hi All,
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone on this forum... for the informations and everything....
So I applied for a spouse visa on the 23rd of August 2016.... I asked on this forum if it would be wise to still apply for PRIORITY VISA as I have been denied visas for UK and the US and I was advised not to apply for a PRIORITY VISA.... but I couldn't wait for the 12weeks so I risked it and went ahead to apply for a PRIORITY VISA...........
And I was granted the Spouse visa today.... ...
So if you have £450 extra to risk for a PRIORITY VISA, it might be worth taking a shot.. who knows you might be lucky...
