All the while i receive mail of when it was transferred to Visa and Immigration, and also i was notified that decisions has been made. These mails did not come from sheffield. Thanks for your response You can only say that if you are absolutely sure about how the British embassy run their visa processing. So will you return the visa if issued because it wasn't from Sheffield? |

Peony200: Pls the gurus in the house I need una help ooo, here goes my story me and my family of 3 hubby me and son apply for vacation in the uk in May we were refused based on the fact that I stated I was working but did not submit my statement meanwhile I did not submit base on the fact that it was hubby that was sponsoring our trip, And they say hubby is earning five million in a year but in January an amount of 3million naira enter is account, meanwhile he has a total balance of 4.5million with a turnover of 30 million. .so I force hubby that I must go for vacation by fire by force we Sha go to Italy embassy for shenghen visa to my greatest surprise we were refused based on the fact that our trip intended stay was not reliable or so so I think it may be because of our age am 23 hubby 27 and our son 3 we submitted with a statement of more than 7 million the issue we having is that uk did not stamp our passports but this idiot shenghen did meanwhile hubby is going for conference in uk meanwhile am planning on going for a course in Canada cause am a makeup artist so right now we don't want make a rash decision pls don't mind my long epistle we just need advice on what step to take Having millions in your bank account without evidence to support the source will always get you a refusal. The moment you submit bank statement containing any amount of money you have to also submit paper evidence to convince the ECO that you did not just 'build' that account for visa purposes. If you work as you claimed then submit your salary account, payslips and employment letter to support that. |

Keneking: Ass Registrar any day
Shortcomings with 1. EXAMINATIONS OFFICER AT BRITISH COUNCIL
1. Enrollment for exams threatened due to GBP rates/fluctuations. 2. Foreign travels low. 3. Job satisfaction due to contract nature. 4. Uncertainties created by economic conditions such as recession. ..and the naira is doing great i think? |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Exams Officer At British Council Or Assistant Registrar At WAEC? Informed Advice by justwise(m): 4:38pm On Oct 12, 2016 |
GraceAndFavour: Please I need the advice of informed, experienced and intelligent people on this forum.
I have two job offers before me and I must make a choice between them immediately. Below is little information about the two positions.
1. EXAMINATIONS OFFICER AT BRITISH COUNCIL This is a graduate position at the starter level of Pay Band 4 with a monthly net pay a little above N200k. The following are my points of attraction to this position: (a) The organization has a world-class reputation (b) The working environment is world-class and very ICT complaint. (c) Location advantage. (d) 13th and 14th month salaries with good pension plan. (e) Probation period is 3 months.
Despite the above, I have some reservations which includes that the position is a junior staff position and it is an indefinite contract.
2. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR AT WAEC This is an experienced and international position at grade level 9. The monthly net pay may be less than that of British Council above. My attractions to this position are: (a) The reputation of the organization. (b) The position is international and senior. (c) The job security and the fact that it is permanent/full-time. (d) Sure of growth and future.
But despite the above too, my reservations include that the pay may be less than that of BC and that it may not come with as much exposure as the BC.
Please, advise me on which to go for and why. Go for BC because the reputation will do your CV a lot of good. Payment in $ will give you more financial security |

meekbishop: My ordeal: Please, i was in the States in 2013,but came back to Nigeria to round up my bsc which i left to travel out, however i couldn't finalize it because of the ASUU strike, and during that National course,i was robbed of my wallet containing my id cards and my green card, which i kept searching for and went as far as reporting to the nearest police station, yet it wasn't found until sometime 2014. So,i went back to the embassy and reported my plight, and they told me that i can't go back, that under their law, that i shouldn't be outside the states for more than 12months,and i was turned down. Please, whats the possible means of going back to the states? Meanwhile,a friend told me that i can apply for students visa, but i don't know how i will go about that..thanks Ask the VO here https://www.nairaland.com/2669622/u.s-immigration-questions-ask-u.s He will be able to help you with an accurate answer than i will. |

Austine2020 : Are you trying to be second Justwise? The most truthful men on earth that never Lie. Ekenekwam gi(i greet u well).Mind u that there some difficult POE in the US like Chicago and Phila, whether u like it or not and even if u said the whole truth at their POE,they must look for a way to find loopholes against u, Thats what i mean,.So when People tells us why they were sent back or detained by the POE officers, we need to Believe them and take their words & not yours, because u weren't there with them. So stop judging people by saying that they Lie about their POE story or Visa application stories when u are not the one that it happened to.Here we go again! Another lying warrior. Why did you not lie or encourage your wife to do so during your visa interview but you are here campaigning for one? I read your interview, you told the truth and the VO recommended you for that. Otubio is absolutely right! some people can't be bothered to tell the simple truth even if they are going to be paid. Of course i have lied before and im not proud of it neither will i come here to encourage people to do the same. |

A 3 bedroom apartment n each room cost about 250k monthly and we all share power bill n water equally. And who d hell told u a room cost 500k? You are just pathetic. It's people like you that are easily deceived. If you are an engineer you stand a better chance coming here n getting a job. If you searching for any job search for organisations that are run by Europeans. Indians or Arabs won't pay u that much...... Govt organisations like Emirates, Fly Dubai, d nata pay well. seanaddy: Hello friends, I am interested in going for my masters in Germany. Got information of this program and need your professional opinions. They call it a pre-masters course buts its a 6months German language course in Ibadan (Inseberg-Coast International Technoscience Institute) , after the course and exam I obtain a B2 certificate which I use for processing my student visa... There is no evidence of cost of living money required for the visa. Then when I get to Germany I start another 6weeks course for a C1 certificate which is another level of the German language and is required for job. After acquiring the C1 certificate you can then process for admission in any tuition free university if choice over there...
Its not costing much but I'm yet to see evidence or get much information about the Program online... What masters course are you going to study in Germany? |
